Work Text:
It all started because Dowoon had been too lazy to get up and Sungjin had been in the kitchen. One pouty request later, Sungjin grumbled as he shoved his phone into his pocket and headed toward the open curtains.
"Thanks, hyungie," Dowoon cooed as he turned his head over the armrest to look at Sungjin's irritated face.
He loved getting under the leader's skin like no other.
However as Sungjin started to scold him for being so lazy, he reached up to where Dowoon had hooked the curtain over the end of the curtain rod. He had wanted some natural light while he ate and watched his show, but he hadn't been able to find their usual bands to tie the curtains. He hadn't wanted to let his food cool so he thought the next best option was hooking them like that. Now that the food coma was kicking in and the directors decided to lower the brightness of the night scene, he craved the darkness and so what if Sungjin had to lean up to undo it?
He was—
Dowoon's thoughts went crashing off its railings as the back of Sungjin's sweater rode up slightly and revealed pink, puffy scratch marks.
"Hyung!" He sat up properly, his brain protesting as it wobbled. He groaned but powered through as Sungjin turned around with a confused look on his face.
"What?"
"Your- your back!" Dowoon stammered.
"My back?" Sungjin repeated. He glanced over his shoulder. "Is there something on my sweater?"
"No…" Dowoon gulped. What could those scratches have been from? It wasn't like they had any pets in their apartment and surely Sungjin would have mentioned getting hurt over dinner at some point. Suddenly his mind trailed off toward a more mature idea and suddenly his ears felt like they were on fire. Oh, why had he called out!? "Um…" God he really didn't want to find out about Sungjin's sex life. Well, actually, he was interested as to who it could be. "There's…there's scratches on your back."
Sungjin's eyes widened as he tugged the back of his sweater up. "Really?"
Dowoon's eyebrows furrowed slightly. Surely if Sungjin had been with someone, well, he would have felt the scratches being made. Right?
"Yeah. They seem pretty bad."
Sungjin rubbed the area and immediately winced. "Ow."
Dowoon clutched his imaginary pearls as he tucked his legs under him on the couch. One thing that Dowoon absolutely envied about his leader was his insane pain tolerance. If something like that really hurt him, then maybe—just maybe—the cause wasn't human.
"What the hell could it be from?" Sungjin mused aloud.
"A demon?" Dowoon whispered.
"Don't be silly." The older man just sighed and slipped his hand out from under his shirt. "Whatever. I have to go now. See you later."
Dowoon watched the elder leave the apartment and the moment the door swung closed, goosebumps crept up his skin.
Did they have some demonic entity in their apartment?
He shivered at the thought and tried to distract himself from the idea by pressing play on his show. Unfortunately for him, he forgot that they were in a cemetery and then the devil appeared and he nearly jumped out of his skin at the jumpscare.
Nope. Nope.
He quickly exited the program and rushed over to the window to drag open the curtains again. His racing heart didn't calm until he put on a children's show and watched it.
As he got engrossed in the surprisingly engaging plot, a sleepy Younghyun shuffled out with his blanket still wrapped around him.
"Mm, is that Pucca?" His raspy morning voice scratched Dowoon's eardrums.
"Uh, yeah." He nervously licked his lips. "Ah, did I wake you up? I'm sorry, I can put the volume down."
It was truly amazing how much the older man could do before he needed an almost twenty-four-hour nap to catch up on all his missing sleep. They knew it was one of those days and Dowoon had been so careful to be quiet all day.
"Mm, nah, it's fine. Scooch over."
Before Dowoon could point out that he was already curled up on one side of a couch that comfortably fit three people at once, Younghyun stumbled over. He crawled onto the couch and pressed against his side.
Dowoon's face grew warm as he tried his best to scowl. "Agh, hyung—"
"My Dowoonie," Younghyun cooed as he nestled his head against his shoulder. Shivers ran down his spine as his blood practically cooked his ears alive. "It's cold. Cuddle with me."
His heart hammered but he made no move to get up. "Fine. Give me some of the blankets."
Younghyun rearranged himself and Dowoon tried to calm his initial flustered state as some of the blankets were draped over him. He pressed play and flinched when a few minutes later he felt Younghyun's full weight pressing against him.
He glanced at the older man and huffed when he saw him peacefully sleeping. Part of his shoulder was exposed so he reached over and tucked the warm fabric over him properly.
He couldn't have Younghyun falling ill. He also rearranged his head on his shoulder because his current angle would undoubtedly give him neck pain.
Silly hyung.
Why didn't he just stay in bed if he was going to sleep?
He brushed some of his hair from his face and smiled to himself. He couldn't really blame him though. He'd been so busy these days. He truly deserved his break.
Dowoon made sure to lower the volume before resuming the show.
He hadn't meant to fall asleep, but he suddenly found himself stirring awake as soft giggling rang in his ears.
A ghost!?
He jolted awake and made out two blurry figures in front of him. He rubbed his eyes and blinked quickly before Wonpil and Sungjin came into focus.
Wonpil had a wide grin as he held up his phone and slowly, heat crept up his face as Younghyun's soft snores tickled his neck. He tensed as he realized he had somehow slid down on the couch and his head dangled off the armrest while Younghyun was draped over his side.
"Send that to me, Pil-ah," Sungjin murmured as he peered over his shoulder at his screen.
Wonpil giggled yet again. "Okay."
"No, not ok— augh!"
Dowoon clenched his jaw to keep from rousing Younghyun. He had tried to sit up, but moving his neck sent a shock of pain down his nerves.
"Don't move your neck too much. I'll get you a heating pad," Sungjin said.
Dowoon groaned as Wonpil used his incapacitated state to snap more pictures.
He hated his hyungs!
Dowoon forgot all about the scratches until the following week when they were all huddled in their practice room. Everything was going as per usual, Wonpil forgetting lyrics, Younghyun ad-libbing and Sungjin skipping to later parts when Sungjin called for another break after just ten minutes.
"What's wrong?" Wonpil worriedly asked as his hands fell away from his keyboard.
Dowoon had to admit he was anxious too. They had a concert coming up and it was unusual for Sungjin to be calling for so many breaks in such a short period of time.
"My back," Sungjin groaned as he slung his guitar strap off. "It hurts a lot."
"Did you hurt yourself?" Younghyun asked.
Dowoon suddenly got flashbacks to the scratches he had seen last week. Surely they should have healed up by now. No?
"I don't know, I just need a little break."
Wonpil frowned as he shuffled toward him. "Why don't you take something for the pain?"
"I forgot to restock my ibuprofen pills from when Dowoon had a headache."
Dowoon's palms sweated slightly. He nervously licked his lips.
"Um, does anyone else have any?" He asked even though he knew the answer.
Sungjin was the only one who thought ahead for such things, and he always had a big bottle in his bag so there wasn't exactly a need for any of them to carry one around.
The other two shook their heads as expected. "I'll go to the nearby convenience store and buy some."
"Hyung, can you go with Woonie?" Wonpil asked.
Dowoon's eyebrows went up slightly at that. He could easily go alone, so why was Wonpil asking?
"Hm, sure?"
"Wonpil, it's fine," Sungjin insisted. "It's not that serious."
The younger man glared at him. "The sooner we deal with it, the sooner we can focus on practicing."
"Yeah," Younghyun said. "Come on Dowoon-ah, let's go."
Dowoon nodded and stood up from his place behind the drums before joining Younghyun. They quickly headed out of the practice room, but Dowoon couldn't shake the feeling that something weird was going on.
"Hey, did you bring your wallet?" Younghyun asked as they stood in front of the elevator. Younghyun started patting around in his pockets. "Or your phone?"
An image of both items flashed in his mind. They were currently resting on top of his bag since they felt clunky in his pants when he played the drums.
"I forgot. Hold on, I'll go get it."
He quickly turned and rushed toward the practice room. He swung the door open and immediately froze. His face grew red as his thoughts short-circuited.
"What—what are you doing?!"
Sungjin was leaning forward slightly while Wonpil stood behind him with the back of his shirt bunched up as he touched his back. The two froze as Younghyun came running in and stumbled at the sight in front of them.
Sungjin jerked away from Wonpil and tugged his shirt down as a blush dusted his cheeks.
"Uh…"
Wonpil wrung his fingers together as he subconsciously leaned away from the leader. "I just wanted to see if something was the matter."
There was a waver in his voice and Dowoon couldn't think.
Sungjin wasn't exactly a touch-go-happy man and in all his years living with the man, he'd never seen him let anyone touch him like that. What exactly was going on with those two?
Were they—
"He has really bad scratches on his back," Wonpil suddenly said. "Can you guys get some aloe gel or something for it?"
"Scratches?" Younghyun asked with a hint of skepticism in his voice. "How'd you get scratches on your back?"
Sungjin ruffled his hair. "I really have no idea guys." He glanced at Wonpil who played with his fingers. "What did they look like?"
Wonpil perked up at that. He glanced at them before rubbing the back of his neck. "Don't laugh." Dowoon quirked his eyebrows as the younger back turned his back to them. "But they didn't, uh, they didn't look human…"
"Oh come on," Younghyun groaned. "Hyung, we're all grown men here. If you've been sleeping with someone then—"
"No, wait," Dowoon said as he held out his arm in front of Younghyun's chest. "I saw them last week. Hyung, can I see your back?"
Sungjin shifted slightly. "You want to see…my back?"
"Yeah."
Younghyun sniffed. "Me too."
"I don't know—"
"You let Wonpil look, so why not us?" Younghyun frowned. "Unless—"
"Fine!" Sungjin grumbled. "And for the record, I only let Wonpil see since, well, we were roommates for a while so there have been some incidents."
Dowoon shrugged and walked up with Younghyun. Sungjin hitched up his shirt up to his mid-back.
"Is that fine? Or do you two pervs want to see more of my back?"
"Perv?" Dowoon repeated in shock. "I'm here as a paranormal investigator! Don't stroke your ego that much." At that, everyone turned to look at him. His cheeks flushed slightly as he crossed his arms. "What?"
"Paranormal investigator?" Wonpil questioned.
Dowoon huffed. "Well, yeah. Look at these claw marks." They all looked at Sungjin's exposed back which had puffy marks. There were even streaks of scabbed-over lines. "He had these exact same marks last week. If it were a human then shouldn't it have faded by now?"
"Not if he's been getting it on since then," Younghyun said.
"Yah!" Sungjin straightened up and tugged his shirt down. "You all live with me and there's no way I'd be able to sneak anyone in. You all know my schedule so when would I have gone and been a harlot like Kangbra is suggesting!?"
"Hyung is right," Wonpil quickly said. "Look, right now isn't the time to be arguing over this. Hurry and get hyung the pills so we can focus on the concert. Let's discuss it after the concert."
"Right," Dowoon said. He grabbed Younghyun's arm. "Come on, hyung."
He hummed and let him lead him out of the room, briefly stopping to grab his wallet before they left once more. As they waited for the elevator, Dowoon went to let go of his arm but Younghyun placed a hand on his arm and held him still.
"Hyu-hyung?"
"What are you going to do if we really have a demonic entity in our dorm?"
Dowoon blushed. "You seriously believe me?"
He shrugged as he let go of his arm. "Why not? It'll be fun. Just don't tell Wonpil, he's a scaredy cat. Let's keep this investigation secret, yeah?"
Dowoon grinned. "Yeah! Oh, but we should probably wait until after the concert. No?"
Younghyun chuckled as he pinched his cheek. "You're so cute, Dowoon-ah."
The elevator arrived and Younghyun walked in while Dowoon felt frozen. His entire face was hot and for some reason, he felt really nervous to be alone with Younghyun.
Weird.
Dowoon groaned as he stirred under his blanket. Their concert had been a success and the after-party had drained what little energy he had left. It had been an even more tiring night since there was this weird tapping noise that had woken him up at some ungodly hour.
He wanted to stay curled up in his bed for the rest of the day but his bladder had other plans. He hastily shoved his blanket off and shivered as the winter air bit his bare feet.
He hurriedly rushed out to keep from losing too much heat from his bed when he spotted Wonpil slinking out of Sungjin's room. He slowly closed the door, twisting the doorknob in a way that Dowoon recognized as trying to be quiet. He only closed his door like that when he came home late and didn't want to wake up the hyungs.
"What are you doing?"
Wonpil jumped as he whirled around and looked at him. "Do-Dowoon?"
Dowoon glanced at the door before meeting Wonpil's shaking eyes. "Did you spend the night in there?"
The scratches replayed in his head. No, there was no way.
"No!" Wonpil squeaked. His face grew red as he pressed his back against the door. "I- I—"
The door swung open and Wonpil tumbled back into Sungjin's chest. The older man grunted as he grabbed his shoulders.
"Pil-ah?"
"Hyung!" Wonpil quickly pulled away from the older man and cupped his cheeks with his hands.
"What's going on here?" Dowoon asked.
The more he thought, he kept on coming back to the same conclusion. But that was impossible! Sungjin and Wonpil? No, that just couldn't be it! They were bandmates first of all and well, it was Sungjin! They were like lawful opposites when it came to touching so how could they be having—
"I'd like to know that too," Sungjin murmured. "Well?"
Wonpil gulped. "I just- ah! I came here to investigate but I knocked and didn't get a response so I peered in. I'm sorry."
"Investigate?" Sungjin questioned.
"You heard it too?" Dowoon asked. The pair turned to look at him and he pressed on. "After I came back from the after-party and went to bed, I woke up to this weird noise coming down the hall. I suppose it could've been from Sungjin-hyung's room."
"Yeah!" Wonpil suddenly chirped. "That's it. It sounded like, um…"
"Like something was repeatedly tapping the walls!" Dowoon clenched his fists. "Hold on, I really have to pee. Don't leave!"
He rushed off to the bathroom and when he came back, neither of the two were in the hall. He pouted but went up to Sungjin's closed door and knocked.
"Come in."
Dowoon walked in and found Sungjin awkwardly standing in the middle of his room while Wonpil sat at his desk. Why did he have an odd sense that he had just walked in on something?
He brushed the thought away as he looked around the room. Nothing seemed out of place. His eyes skirted along Sungjin's bed which, had he made it? Leave it to their leader to be one of those weirdos who did their bed when they woke up.
He hummed as he eyed what seemed like some sort of sheet peeking out from Sungjin's closet.
"What's that?" He asked as he pointed to it.
"A sheet," Wonpil said. "Nothing weird there."
Dowoon glanced at the other. "I was asking hyung. You know, the owner of the room?"
Wonpil blushed while Sungjin rolled his eyes. "Clearly a sheet. I just changed them since it's time to wash them."
"Right." Dowoon fully faced the older. "So, did you hear the noise last night?"
Sungjin rolled his shoulders. "Oh, uh, yeah. It didn't sound like it was coming from my room though. You know how sensitive I am to sounds, so if you wouldn't mind wrapping up your little inspection. I still want to sleep."
"Why'd you make your bed then?"
"You know how hyung is," Wonpil quickly said. "But he's right. Let's not take up too much more time. I didn't see anything out of place. It also could've been our upstairs neighbors."
"I guess," Dowoon mumbled. "Ah, hyung, do you mind showing us your back?"
Sungjin tensed. "My…back?"
"Isn't that a bit too invasive?" Wonpil butted in.
"Says the one who started it," Dowoon grumbled. "Come on, hyung. What if there are marks on your back again?"
"I doubt there are," Sungjin said. "I checked every day after the ones you found and there was nothing."
"Just hurry up," Dowoon groaned. "I already saw your back twice. I want to go to bed too you know."
Sungjin glanced at Wonpil who pursed his lips. Seriously, if they kept doing that then Dowoon was going to be convinced they were in on whatever it was.
Did they play the Ouija board together?
"Fine."
Sungjin turned around and hitched the back of his shirt up. Dowoon covered his mouth at the sight.
"Holy shit, hyung. You've been mauled."
Wonpil's cheeks grew pink. "It's not that bad."
"Are you kidding?" Dowoon gasped. "It's like Freddy Krueger got your ass."
"Language," Sungjin hissed. "It doesn't feel that bad, honest."
"Aren't you worried at all about the scratches?" Dowoon asked in disbelief.
"Well, yeah, but I don't believe in the supernatural. I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation. Now, I don't know about you two but I'm going back to sleep so get out."
Dowoon rolled his eyes but headed out with Wonpil hot on his heels. He closed the door behind them and Dowoon yawned.
"Well, good night hyung," he murmured.
"Right. Sleep well," Wonpil quickly said before turning around and heading back to his room.
Dowoon tilted his head as he watched the other. Maybe it was his imagination, but he could've sworn Wonpil had a bit of a limp.
He shrugged as he entered his room and dived into bed. Who could blame him? His legs were killing him from the concert and he didn't even have to stand!
Poor bastard.
A soft knock from his door damn near scared Dowoon shitless. He clasped his chest as he rushed over to his door and creaked his door open.
Younghyun looked at him weirdly. "Hey."
"Oh, it's just you, hyung." He let out a breath of relief as he opened the door and gestured for the other to enter.
He did and he raised an eyebrow as he did. "Were you expecting someone else? It's nearly three in the morning."
"No, no," Dowoon muttered. "Nothing like that." He closed the door and went back to his desk as Younghyun sat on the edge of his bed. "Did you need something, hyung?"
"Not really." He leaned back on his palms as he looked at him. "I got up to use the bathroom but saw your lights were still on so I wanted to see if you fell asleep with them on."
"Ah, I've been doing research on the paranormal ever since the scratch incidents started," Dowoon said. "And, well, I maybe should've stuck to just doing it while the sun was out because I've been watching cartoons for the past hour but I still feel like something is about to appear in the corner of my room."
"You're still on that?" Younghyun questioned. "I thought you were doing a cute little joke."
"Well, yeah. Don't you find three separate occasions and a case of strange noises weird?"
Younghyun blinked before he grinned. "You're so cute, Dowoon-ah." The tips of his ears grew hot. "So ghost buster, what evidence do you have up your sleeves?"
Dowoon rubbed the back of his neck as he leaned back into his chair. "Aside from the scratch marks and tapping sound, nothing."
Younghyun hummed as he drummed his fingers along his mattress. "Reached a standstill so early in your investigation, huh?" Dowoon solemnly nodded. Younghyun seemed to think for a moment before sitting up slightly. "I guess there's one more thing I can add to your database."
Dowoon perked up at that. "Which is?"
"Keep an eye out for other marks. I hear demons leave stuff like bruises and bite marks on their target." He pushed himself off the bed. "So don't just look for scratches."
"I see." Dowoon nodded to himself and turned his head when he noticed the older heading toward the door. "Wait, where are you going?"
Younghun glanced back at him. "It's late, Dowoon-ah. We have a busy schedule tomorrow and I need sleep."
Dowoon pouted and averted his gaze. "Wait, hyung, could you…could you stay?" There was a beat of silence and he hesitantly looked up to see Younghyun looking at him with an unreadable expression. His face grew hot as his mouth felt dry all of a sudden. "It's just! I watched this ghost hunting video and…"
"Yah, Yoon Dowoon, are you too scared to sleep by yourself?" Younghyun teased.
Dowoon groaned as he placed his cold hands on his cheeks. "No!"
The older didn't buy it and he giggled. "Come on you dope. It has been getting colder too."
He crawled into bed and Dowoon suddenly felt nervous. It had been his idea so why…
He shook his head and turned the lights off before joining Younghyun. The other wrapped his arms around him and Dowoon immediately tensed.
"Hyung! What are you doing?" Dowoon squeaked out.
Usually, he was the one being clingy, but never in this scenario! Only Wonpil had the shamelessness to do something like this!
"Mm, it's cold Dowoonie," he murmured. His breath brushed against the shell of his ear and goosebumps coated Dowoon.
Dowoon tried to quiet his racing heart as Younghyun held him.
It was going to be a long night.
Dowoon didn't really believe in psychics but desperate measures called for desperate actions. He had been woken up in the middle of his sleep with Younghyun spooning him. He had been a bit disoriented so it took him a moment to register the almost rhythmic banging on the wall that had wken him up.
He couldn't let their haunting go on any longer.
He had initially just come for some sage, but somehow he got roped into a basic reading. Three readings, one for work, his love life, and his future.
He had already paid so he couldn't exactly go back as the psychic rubbed his hands over a crystal ball. Did those even work?
She'd already told him he'd end up in a musical profession—he really doubted her powers—and that he was on the cusp of a blooming relationship. Which, he hardly spoke to anyone outside of the members so, so much for that. He really regretted spending thirty dollars on this sham.
"Ah, I see here that you'll be moving soon."
Dowoon inwardly snorted. Why would he move? The apartment was great, especially for the price split between them. He'd have to be a lunatic to want to move out. Well, unless the demon got angry with him with the sage.
"I see you're having an internal dilemma, and I just wanted to tell you not to worry. What will happen will happen, but it will open a door closer for your soon-to-be relationship."
"Right…" Dowoon sniffed as he grabbed his sage. "Well, I'll be going now. It's late enough as it is and I'm sure my hyungs will be worried."
They wouldn't. He had been ashamed about where he was actually going so he had lied and said he was going to watch a movie that had just come out. He'd think of a lie as to why he returned so early on his short drive back.
"Before you go…" The psychic held up her phone which held up a tip sign.
Dowoon's face dropped and he begrudgingly gave her a tip because he couldn't bring himself to leave without doing so.
Argh!
He fumed on his drive back home and cursed himself for supporting a local business. Like where he got the sage from would matter to the demon!
He slammed his door shut and clutched the sage as he went up the elevator. Unless that demon was going to pay rent—or refund his money—it was finally going to be dealt with.
He quietly opened the front door because in his mind he should ambush the demon. For that same reason, he didn't turn on the lights as he crept toward Sungjin's room.
His hair stood on end as he heard the familiar muffled banging noise. It was now or never!
He steeled his nerves as he slowly pressed the door open and—
Dowoon's jaw dropped at the sight in front of him.
Sungjin pistoned into another man as said man had his legs wrapped around his hips and ran his nails down his back.
"Fuck! Sungjin!" Wonpil cried out.
Sungjin groaned as his headboard rhythmically smacked into the wall.
"Mm, like that, sweetheart?" Sungjin panted.
A high-pitched moan rang out as Wonpil dragged his nails over his broad back again. "Nngh, ye—"
"No!" Dowoon screeched before he turned tail and ran.
He screamed all the way out the door and slammed into a muscular body.
"Woah! Dowoon-ah!?" Younghyun grabbed his shoulders as he steadied them. "What's wrong!?"
Dowoon's heart pounded as he lifted a shaky hand and pointed to their opened front door. "They- they were-"
"Dowoon!"
A haphazardly dressed Sungjin stumbled out of their apartment. His hair was slicked with sweat and the bulge in his unbuttoned pants made Dowoon cry out as he covered his eyes and tried to forget what he had just witnessed.
"Ah…" Younghyun trailed off. "I think a band meeting is in store, no?"
Dowoon wanted to run away again, but the older man dragged him into the apartment where Wonpil stood at the opening of the hall with Sungjin's blanket wrapped around himself.
Dowoon winced as his face burned.
Younghyun whistled. "Wow. This is hella awkward."
"Oh my god," Wonpil whimpered.
"Look, I'll console Dowoonie and you two…I don't want to know what happens behind those closed doors. Just…come back out proper."
Sungjin hung his head as Wonpil ran back into his room.
Dowoon sniffled as he wiped tears from his face.
"Hey, woah, why are you crying, Dowoonie?"
Dowoon honestly didn't know. "I…It's like walking in on your parents doing it," he groaned.
"Right." Younghyun rubbed his back. "Well, at least it was dark?"
"Hyung!" Dowoon cried out.
"Not the time," Younghyun murmured to himself. "Come on, Dowoon-ah. You had to have known something was up with them. They weren't exactly subtle about it."
Dowoon hastily rubbed his wet cheeks. "I thought…I bought sage…I even tipped…"
Younghyun sighed as he patted his back. "It'll be alright."
"I think they just ruined sex for me for the rest of my life."
Before Younghyun could respond, the guilty couple shuffled into their living room. Wonpil kept his head down and didn't look at them while Sungjin tugged the collar of his shirt.
Sungjin cleared his throat. "So…"
Wonpil covered his face with his hands. "I'm sorry."
"It was bound to happen with how reckless you two were," Younghyun mused. "Seriously. If you're going to keep a relationship secret, come up with a reason for the sounds you two make. Don't leave hickies in visible places, and for the love of god, when one of your roommates starts asking, don't let him go on with the idea of demonic entities."
"He said he was going to the movies," Sungjin grumbled. "And! Why would you enter someone else's room without knocking first!?"
Dowoon shrunk into Younghyun's side. "I thought you two were gone and the demon was making noises."
Sungjin deflated as he rubbed a hand over his face. "Well, cat's out the bag now. Wonpil and I have been dating for a little more than a year—"
"A year!?" Dowoon shouted in surprise.
Younghyun glanced at him. "You sweet, innocent man. I envy your ignorance this long."
Dowoon blushed.
"So, maybe I was the one who left those scratches," Wonpil murmured. "I didn't think you'd be so adamant on the demon thing."
Dowoon tensed as he suddenly recalled the sheets that peeked out from Sungjin's closet. "Oh, gross! You two did it after the concert!?" He paused. "Wait, how the hell did you two have the energy—"
"Yah!" Sungjin's cheeks were red as he scowled. "Our personal lives are just that!"
Dowoon huffed and shook his head. "Whatever. I don't want to know what freaky deaky stuff you two get up to. As a matter of fact, I think I'm going to move out. I think I'd seriously have to bleach my eyes if I walked in on something like that again."
"Seriously?" Wonpil asked in disbelief. "It wasn't even that bad."
"How would you like to see me getting pounded by Younghyun-hyung?" Dowoon suddenly spat out.
Younghyun choked beside him as Wonpil pursed his lips. "Yeah, okay. I see your point."
"Hey!"
And with that, Dowoon started scouring for a new place while the couple left to wash up. Younghyun stayed next to him and watched him scroll through ads.
"So…you're a bottom?"
Dowoon jumped as he looked at Younghyun. "What!?"
Younghyun shrugged. "Your previous comment. You know what, never mind. What about that place? It seems nice for the price."
Suddenly the psychic's words rattled in his brain. She'd been right about the apartment, so dating-wise…
Younghyun caught his gaze and his foxy eyes stared into his soul.
All Dowoon could manage to do was weakly swallow.
Oh.
