Work Text:
“Fine then, can I ask you a question?” Rita asked as she leveled her gun with the assassin’s head — the tall, dark, and handsome type with a nicely sized eyepatch. “When you go to watch a movie do you watch the credits?”
The man scoffed, a low laugh coming from him, and with a shake of his head he admitted, “I don’t watch movies, why would I? It’s a waste of time compared to reading a-”
BANG
“I’m never going to get a boyfriend!” the assassin whined, looking up into the heavens as if her answer would be there. Too many assassin’s dead, too many terrible answers from terrible men, and not a single man worth having who wasn’t taken. At this rate there weren’t going to be any hot guys who wouldn’t count being an assassin as a dealbreaker left in the world by the time her year was up.
There wasn’t much time to think on that though, dismissal was only a couple hours away and Doug and Hana would want her help cleaning up. Her little few mile hike through the city chasing an assassin was a good change of pace, but she’d get in trouble if she spent too long waiting for a new hot guy to drop by.
Lucky for Rita that dream became literal as she turned to walk away, and was greeted by six more men dropping down from a hole in the ceiling. All hot in their own way, and with her pistol raised the assassin could only ask the first thing that came to her mind:
“Are you guys single?”
They looked around confused a moment, katanas half-raised from their sheaths, and almost hesitantly the answers came out one at a time.
“No,” BANG.
“My wife doesn’t need to know-” BANG
“I don’t date old-” BANG.
“Yeah, femoids-” BANG.
“Just recently, my last girlfriend was crazy and kept-” BANG.
“Yes,” and the last man was left standing surrounded by the corpses of his friends, a concerned look on his face, “why did you ask-”
BANG, and Rita jumped at the noise and the man’s head snapping back, looking down at her gun in the fear she’d panicked again before realizing this one hadn’t been her. Her body twisting around, looking wildly around, until she was greeted by a familiar face standing in a nearby doorway.
Her own face, just a little different in the cheeks and with a lithe body just a little flatter than her, a suit instead of her uniform, her brother Leo stepped forward with blood on his face. Panting like he’d been running far too long, wiping blood on his sleeve as he looked up to her, the man barely reacted as she aimed her gun at him and instead said, “we should get out of here soon, there’s more assassins coming.”
He pushed past her, ignoring a brief tensing of her finger on the trigger or her looking ready to pounce. Instead taking a quick pace down the nearby flight of stairs before turning back to announce, “I didn’t hire these assassins, and I don’t plan on letting my onee-chan die to anyone I haven’t vetted.”
“Did you forget who I am, Leo? Did you forget who you work for?” Rita asked with a narrowing of her eyes, even as she took a few careful steps forward, “I can take on a few more waves of these amateur assassins, we dealt with you well enough.”
“Yes, well, the Bald Eagle is on the list of assassins targeting you — he uses drone strikes to attack, and we’re out of range of your kindergarten’s drone defenses.”
Right, yeah, no, maybe get out of here.
The two ran fast as they could, ducking and weaving through the rubble of Rita’s fight until they came to a cafeteria where the brother slowed down. Never stopping, he rushed her to the kitchen and towards the back, where he explained, “this place has been shut down for some time, but according to my latest intel your group should have a secret tunnel the walk-in here. I believe we’ll be safe enough underground, no?”
And she didn’t argue, not even as she was led into the walk in and they let the door close behind them, as they scurried towards an unusually large drain in the back, nor as the ground shook and the roof bowed inwards as the world seemed to fall around the walk-in and lights flickered off. Not until Leo had pulled a flashlight from his pocket and opened the drain, and they were greeted by a concrete plug and a sticky-note reading Nice Try.
Rita wasn’t sure how long they’d been trapped in the walk-in — at some point her phone had fallen out on the run and Leo’s assistant apparently carried his — but it was long enough that devastation had given away to silence long enough ago that it was now awkward. Sat on opposite sides of the walk-in, Leo’s flashlight propped up between them to light enough of the room to barely see, neither looking at the other.
Leo long ago had curled himself into his corner, knees to his chest and face hidden in his arms after he’d sworn a hundred times Ashley would come for them. Rita…wasn’t so sure about being that hopeful.
They’d had a three story building collapse on top of them, likely the rubble blocked her GPS signal, and the Kindergarten would be the first to come running. Ashley wouldn’t be able to risk running a rescue operation in the rubble, and the others would likely think she was dead and gone. For all she knew Dough and Hana were probably already mourning here, and she was stuck here waiting for either a fire to take their remaining air or to die of dehydration.
Neither option felt particularly pleasurable, and all Rita could do was focus on the single point haunting her above all:
She’d never gotten her hot boyfriend.
She was going to die here, and she was never going to get swept off her feet by a charming guy, go on a date, have sex with a guy she cared about. All her work had been for nothing, her time at the Kindergarten for nothing, and a choking cry escaped her as she pulled herself tighter.
Tears and muffled sobs escaped her until finally she felt Leo move to sit beside her, and he wrapped his blazer around her shoulders. His hand resting on the back of her shoulders as he slowly comforted, “we’re going to get out of here, onee-chan, I promise you.”
Rita nodded, leaning into the man as her tears slowly died down, taking a handkerchief he offered her to clear her. She was The Witch, she couldn’t just let herself lay down and die acting like this was the end. There was always a chance they were saved, and at least they had plenty of oxygen to hold out.
A final deep breath, bringing herself together, Rita looked up to her brother ready to thank him when she was struck silent.
His features, so close to hers, looked more striking on his face, the simple light of the flashlight giving him a harder edge with his low eyes. He was holding her, so close, and with some horror Rita realized two things about this scenario: she had run into hiding with a hot guy and been locked there, and her brother was the surprisingly protective younger brother type.
Nope, no, that was too far, he was her brother her fucking twin brother, and he’d tried killing her just a few weeks before. She was not going to find her brother hot, she was not going to ask him, “are you single?”
Leo furrowed his brow, tilting his head as Rita tried figuring out what was wrong until he admitted, “we’re killers, Onee-chan, you don’t find that sort of happiness in our line of work.”
“I said that aloud?”
“Yeah, you did,” Leo admitted, still seeming too confused to realize what had happened, “why did you-?”
“Do you watch a movie’s credits?” Rita asked, cursing herself as she begged for the ability to cut out her own tongue.
Leo had to think for another moment, before eventually admitting, “I’ve never gotten to go to the theater, but at home?... yes? Why wouldn’t you, even respecting the people who made it aside you usually get a nice sampling of the movie’s soundtrack, if not an artistic representation of the credits, and there’s always post credit scenes or extras that might be included.”
A perfect answer.
“What do you eat first when you have ramen?”
“Ramen?” Leo asked, frowning as he looked down and slowly admitted, “I um…i’ve only had the ramen you get in the package, but there’s just noodles there, right? What do you mean by ramen?”
Oh no, this is worst than I thought , the assassin realized, gripping the side of her head as she looked hastily away from her twin, “he’s not just a surprisingly protective younger brother, he’s a surprisingly protective younger brother in need of education. This is bad, what am I going to do?”
And Rita stopped as she realized she was saying this aloud too, the panic too much as she slowly turned back to look at a shocked — and red-faced — Leo. His hand held hesitantly up to grab her, his body frozen. He looked unsure of what to do, and Rita was trying to come up with an excuse when his hand creeped up to cup her chin and he leaned forward for the kiss.
Bad news bad news bad news bad news ran through the assassin’s brain even as she failed to move, the chin touch too much for her as she leaned into the touch with a low whine. The kiss returned, probably rather badly and awkwardly on both their parts, and his blazer falling from her shoulders as his free arm moved around to her back. Both holding onto the other in a messy dance of lips until finally Rita forced herself to pull away with a burning face and panting breath.
This was wrong, too wrong, and she tried letting it be known as she asked, “are you sure about this?”
Leo looked conflicted, like he himself wasn’t fully sure what was happening, but he nodded all the same and told her, “it should have always been like this right? If they hadn’t separated us, it would have always just been us, onee-chan,” and Rita couldn’t process that logic before she was kissed once more.
Right, probably was going to die, hottest guy around was her brother, and he was currently making out with her.
She could blame it on a lack of oxygen if she survived, she didn’t want to die alone.
Her fingers found his tie and she pulled at it only to be surprised by it being a clip-on that pulled off in her hands. They stopped, Leo looking away flushed, and she let out a small giggle as she kissed his cheek and admitted, “plenty of assassins use them, can’t get choked out this way.”
“You’re killing my image, onee-chan.”
“I don’t think either of our images are surviving if people see this,” Rita muttered a little hesitantly, and she kissed her brother this time as she worked on unbuttoning his shirt. Her hands running along the light-muscles underneath even as his lips moved to dance on her neck and he fumbled with her apron’s knot.
Adorable.
Rita pushed herself to better sit up, and Leo almost instinctively sat back with his shirt half-undone and off his shoulders. The man looked up at his twin with eyes that felt almost in awe as she removed the bullet-proof apron herself — a last layer of defense gone — and with shaking hands removed her shirt. Loosened her tie and chucked it aside, unbuttoned her shirt and slowly pulled it off, exposed a sports bra and skin to the chilly air of the room, to her own brother.
Her face felt like it’d spontaneously combust, like everything above her chest was ready to alight with fire, and another part of her craved pulling him close and letting him kiss her all over. Like his kisses could extinguish that heat, like if he was close enough it’d quell the burning desire within her, and perhaps that was true.
“I can’t believe I’m doing this,” Rita muttered, looking away from her brother as she hesitantly asked, “do you want to finish undressing me?”
Leo nodded repeatedly, cleared his throat, and quickly moving forward slid his hands behind her back. His hands running along and pulling at the elastic of her sports bra, briefly moving to the front, and then finally hooking under the sides as he realized, “this is a sports bra.”
“It is a sports bra,” Rita agreed, raising her hands and closing her eyes as the garment was slipped away from her.
She was naked from the waist up, the first time she’d ever been like that for a man who wasn’t searching her for weapons. His hands crept along her body, groped at the little handfuls she had on her chest, calloused and inexperienced hands playing with her body on pure instinct.
It was still enough to get a low moan for her, just loud enough the man paused his actions and looked at her with wide-eyed surprise. Hands pulled away just a moment before she comforted, “it felt good. I just…I’ve never done this before. I mean — I’ve read romance novels and watched videos, but like…”
“It’s fine, Onee-Chan, I probably know less than you,” Leo muttered with a small cough and a laugh, “um…Ashley shared some manga with this, and some games too, but um…well, I always got embarrassed reading them and she got confused about my choices with the romance options, and…I shouldn’t be talking about this now, should I?”
“You always dated the sister characters didn’t you?” Rita guessed, realizing her sudden realization might have been a bit while back for the man. Yeah, her fellow teachers back at the Kindergarten weren’t going to be able to hear about this if she survived.
Leo nodded, getting a small giggle from his sister that made him quickly hide his head against her…right between her breasts. Pushed back by the force, his arms wrapped tight around her, her legs wrapping around her waist as she laughed and comforted him, “I’m not going to judge you, we were about to have sex weren’t we?”
“Right, we…yes,” Leo muttered, a serious look coming across him as he looked up to her and let his lips move to her tit. Lips dancing across one nipple, kisses and light brushes of his tongue that shot bolts of pleasure through her as Rita arched her back into the man’s kisses. Her hands struggled to finish pulling his shirt off, digging into his brown hair, nails digging into his scalp even as he muttered, “onee-chan” on soft repeat.
Oh no, he’s adorable , jolted through her mind, and legs wrapped tight around the man she did her best to grind her lap into his. Slacks against slacks, unpracticed movements on both sides, hesitant rubbing against each other struggling to figure out what they were doing. Light bolts of pleasure when she hit a right angle, a right spot, even as she found a hardened bulge pressing back against her.
It was just enough for them to both be moaning, for Leo’s grip to weaken until Rita swung them around so she rested on top. There where she could better press down into him, his hands gripping her hips hard enough to bruise, looking almost pitiful as he begged, “I want to be inside you.”
“I do too,” the woman whispered back, hands quickly gripping his belt and nearly snapping it in half as she struggled to rip it off. Buttons soon follow, and Leo creeping up the floor to help her pull off his slacks while kicking off her shoes. All things tossed into an ever growing pile even as Leo didn’t hesitate to swing to his knees with surprising agility and finish stripping her.
Somehow completely naked in front of the man feeling less embarrassing than anything else so far, Rita took her chance for her first fully naked kiss. Two sets of hands running across one another’s bodies, struggling to find the right place to grab, the right pressure, even as Rita finally laid back down and spread her legs.
Leo froze again, the only movement as he let one hand slide down her body and he asked, “So I just need to stick it in, are you sure you’re ready, Onee-chan?”
“Yeah, just…be gentle, but I think I’m pretty ready. I’m just-” a low moan stopped her, body twisting and whining as calloused fingers found her entrance and gently rubbed and probed along her. Leo shook, moaning without being touched himself, and moving a surprisingly wet hand to her hip they took a last look at eachother.
Right, Rita, last chance to take a sane action in your life.
That wasn’t going to happen was it?
She gripped his hair, pulling him down into another kiss even as her twin struggled to find her again. Twice missing with his thrusts before she reached a hand down to guide him in and they moaned into one another’s mouths.
It was sloppy as anything else they’d done, a mess of struggled thrusting and grinding, weak moments of pauses as one of them paused from pleasure, his weight pushed a little too hard into her. Their arms wrapped around one another, kisses no longer even always finding lips and instead wherever on their face or neck they could reach.
It wasn’t long for either of them, and both of them were whimpering by the time Leo admitted, “I’m gonna cum, Onee-chan, I need to pull out.”
“Keep going!” she whimpered, her brother’s eyes wide as saucer plates, “please, just a little longer and I think I can finish. You can cum inside, I just need this.”
“You’ll get pregnant,” Leo muttered, his body pushed up just a little more, forehead against hers, the words for some reason stoking the fire in her. A strangely nice thought for as fucked up as it was in the moment, and one he didn’t help as he continued, “you’ll always be mine. Gonna give you our baby. You won’t leave our baby will you, Onee-chan?”
It was like gas tossed onto her flames, her whines growing louder, the knot in her stomach twisting tighter and tighter.
It was perfect.
She needed more.
“Tell me what you want, little bro, tell your Onee-chan how much you want to have kids with her?”
Her bucked wildly at the words, eyes screwed tight, sweat glistening in the dim light of the walk-in. Even for a trained assassin, one who had killed hundreds, he looked as his limits as he muttered like in a trance, “gonna have twins, we’ll raise them right, Onee-chan. We’ll make sure they never have to leave each other, we’ll never leave eachother again, I love you, Onee-chan!”
Rita’s maons turned to a scream, an ear piercing crime as her pleasure finally broke and she dug nails tight into her brother’s back. Legs wrapped tight around him, holding the man in as he bucked wildly and a new warmth filled her. Not letting go until the two of them fell limply back onto the floor in a tangle of limbs and sweat.
Silence came over them again, a content bit of happiness as Rita pulled her brother closer and he let a head rest on her chest. A beautiful moment, her fingers playing in his hair as she slowly asked, “did you mean it?”
“The kid thing?”
“Well, yeah, but also…the love thing.”
“That,” Leo muttered, rising to half-sit up and look down at her with a cringing face, “I…well, I guess-”
THUD, THUD, THUD.
The sound of concrete breaking and being shifted rang out, and in the distance a familiar voice yelled, “go get medical, I sense she’s here!”
Neither twin needed to speak, diving for the pile of clothes they’d created and with hasty hands grabbing at and trying to find out what was theirs. Almost grabbing the wrong slacks, the wrong shirt, until Rita was trying her apron on as the walk-in door dented inwards with a loud BANG.
A second hit, and the door broke inwards, and a familiar blonde haired-man rushed in with his hammer in one hand and a gun in the other he took three warning shots with as he declared, “my senses told me I needed to stop a confession. What happened-”
Luke stopped as he saw the two of them, his brow furrowed, gun pointed at Leo as he switched to business mode long enough to declare, “looks like we caught this intruder. What do you say, Rita, should we-”
“Let him go,” the woman quickly interrupted, a shocked look from both of them as she tried to tell him, “I can…well, I can try and explain later, but please just listen to me for now?”
Luke looked between them, around the walk-in, sniffed the air a moment, looked down at the hands as if questioning his own senses. With a final sigh, he declared, “I need to consider the implications of this on my diagram,” and left.
They were alone, and Rita could only look on with a strange sense of heartbreak even as Leo kissed her a final time and declared, “we’ll meet again, Onee-chan,” as he took the opportunity to escape.
Yeah, the Principle was going to kill her.
Leo was in high spirits that night, laying back in his hotel bed and kicking legs happily as he watched anime and ate ice cream. Changed into a new suit before Ashley could return, the careful cover up did little to hide something had happened as she watched beside him in silent support.
Respectful, kind as always, and not speaking until the show’s credits were over and the commercials began for the next episode, where she could ask, “did something happen, sir? I was looking everywhere for you, I was so happy to get a call from you.”
“Oh, I just was running a personal errand, had a good time,” Theo giggled happily, setting the bowl aside as he rolled onto his back to smile up at the girl, “I think, if I observed the situation correctly, it won’t be long before we have a new recruit and I have a girlfriend, as long as you think you can put up with a little unusualness.”
“Oh, that’s…great!” Ashley said, struggling to hide her heartbreak behind a small smile, “I’m surprised you met someone, I thought you were trying to make sure freelancers didn’t kill you sister.”
“Well, yes, that brings me to the weirdness I was talking about.”
“...Sir, please don’t tell me those bruises on your neck are from-”
“They are. Want some syrup for your ice cream?”
When Rita wasn’t executed that night or the next morning she assumed Luke hadn’t told anyone what he’d seen. Something she was rather happy about, but was having trouble getting time with him to thank him for.
Life as a Kindergarten teacher was busy, and between the assassins attacking the school, watching the kids, and preparing for events, she couldn’t exactly sneak over to say “thanks for not talking about the incest”.
Not until that night, the Principle declaring their classes would have the night shift, when they had a good thirty minutes for snacks they’d been brought. There Rita got Luke’s attention with a nudge of his foot and declared, “I think I left my phone on the playground, do you think you could come down with me?”
“No problem,” Luke declared, shooting down Doug with a glare as the two of them left the building.
A short walk, though not long enough as far as Rita cared, just to know no one was going to hear here unless they were spying. Spying? Good chance of it, but…well, that couldn’t be helped.
Luke didn’t break the silence, instead reading some book he’d put an elastic cover over for once, and stood silently while the woman stared him down. Her hands held to her chest as she slowly declared, “thanks for not telling anyone about yesterday.”
“We were all searching for you, I just had the sense people were about to confess love and wished to stop that,” Luke agreed, closing his book as he looked back at her. His hand drifted to his pocket until he finally tossed her a small box as he explained, “I made sure to throw an assassin through a chemist early. I figured you wouldn’t explain to the infirmary you needed Plan-B, so I thought I’d help.”
“Right, thanks, I…yeah, should probably take that,” Rita agreed as she hastily opened the box, “I…why are you covering for me?”
Luke paused, his brow furrowed as he took a notepad from his pocket and flipped it open to reveal two columns. Pros and Cons written out alongside multiple diagrams as he explained, “I’m trying to decide my feelings on this before I decide anything else.” and he held up the covered book as well as he added, “I’m doing my research, incest isn’t a genre of romance I’m particularly familiar with.”
“So…you’re what?” Rita asked, genuinely confused about the statement.
“I decided to start with Oreimo as that seemed to be a cornerstone of the genre, though I’ve since branched out to twincest and younger brother specifically since that seemed to be your situation,” Luke explained as he flipped through the notebook, “Now, while I understand the appeal of the forbidden romance and the warmth and comfort that can come with it, I also think there’s something to be said of how this creates a series of complications for us in real life. Problems of incest and keeping this secret aside, you are sleeping with the enemy — a romance trope I can support — but I still need to figure out what sort of love you and Leo have. In the incest genre there are five primary types of love between siblings, starting with-”
And Luke continued on explaining the genre as Rita looked on in confused shock, only able to silently stand there as she took the pill and Luke continued explaining his research. Something she couldn’t even begin to understand why he was considering supporting, nor why he’d put so much thought into it than her.
Though, well, maybe this was a good thing right? One guy knows, he’s invested in helping out potentially, and maybe Leo could be brought to the right side through this. He deserved an ordinary life too, and maybe she could teach him it’s what he could have.
That had to count for something, right?
Right?
Luke was going to get her killed if he got invested, wasn’t he?
