Jason carefully set down the kick stand of his bike after parking in the cave. Breathing carefully, he tried to keep himself calm for now, he didn’t want to take out any of his, justified, anger out on his bike. Not when there were far more deserving targets.

Dick turned and grinned at where Jason was now stomping up the stairs, “Little Wing! I didn’t know you were com…” His voice trailed off before starting again softer, obviously trying to sooth Jason’s anger already. “I’m not sure what’s wrong but you can talk to us. I’m sure whatever is wrong I’m sure we can work it out together.”

“Wrong?” Jason laughed bitterly, “Do you even have any idea on what’s even wrong?”

“No,” Dick held his arms lowered and hands palms up to show a non-threatening pose, “But I’m willing to listen. Can you take a few breaths first? Just so we can all calm down before we have what must be an important conversation.”

“You want me to stop and fucking breath,” Jason seethed, “After all of what you all did?”

Bruce’s voice was soft, trying to not to rile Jason up most likely, “Jason, Jaylad, your eyes are glowing.”

Scoffing Jason crossed his arms, he did try and calm down some as he didn’t want to attack anyone physically. Then they would just focus on him attacking family and not on what the real problem was. “After what all of you guys did I’m not surprised that the pit is practically demanding I kick the shit out of all of you like I do when people break my rules.”

Bruce growled, switching suddenly into Batman mode at Jason bringing up the Red Code. A code that he often argued with Jason over the proper consequences for breaking those rules. “You agreed your rules are only for Crime Alley and not something to bring to the rest of Gotham.”

“And I agreed mostly, but I don’t care who it is, or where, when it comes to drugs and kids. The not allowing the first to get to the second. I don’t care whose kids it is, no kid should be getting drugs, willingly or not.”

Dick gaped at Jason, “You think we’ve been giving kids drugs? You can’t really believe that!”

“A couple hours ago I sure didn’t but now I know you do and I’m so far past pissed that I know that.”

Alfred frowned, “Master Jason. Who gave you information that led you to believe such a thing?”

“Why the kid in question. Unless you’re trying to tell me that Tim isn’t a kid.”

“Oh,” Dick’s smile returned, “This is all just a misunderstanding.”

“So you haven’t been giving Tim drugs without his knowledge or consent?”

“It’s just to help him sleep when he’s been up too long. He can get caught up in cases and he just hyperfocuses on those cases and just needs some help going to bed.”

“So you admit to roofieing the kid then.”

“Roo- we didn’t roofie Tim!”

“You’re giving him drugs to render him into a state where you can do whatever you want to him, without him being able to resist or remember what happened?”

“Master Jason,” Alfred frowned at him, “We would never do anything of such things you are applying to Master Timothy.”

“Oh, I know you didn’t do anything,” Jason’s expression was not of a grin, there were far too many teeth for that, “Tim went over the security cameras of each incident to make sure.”

Dick frowned, “Why would he do that?”

“Because he couldn’t trust people who were regularly roofieing him? He showed up in my safehouse a couple hours ago, literally begging for food he could trust. He about fell over in my living room going into shock from having basically no blood sugar.”

Bruce’s forehead furrowed, “He went to you?”

“One of my biggest rules is not selling drugs to kids or giving freebies like you three have been. Still he was too scared to drink a sealed bottle of water or my leftovers until I drank and ate random bites from the food. So now I’m here for his shi-stuff because he is not going back to somewhere he can’t trust not to somehow drug him again.”

Alfred frowned, “Master Jason, we have just been trying to help him.”

“Right, help him, do you ever pull that sort of trick on anyone else? Or is it just a Tim special? And after what you did on his last birthday you really think he’s going to trust you… again?”

Dick frowned, “What does Tim’s birthday have to do with anything?”

Jason rolled his eyes, “Ask B about the little… test, he ran on Tim. Now get out of my way so I can get him what he needs to stay at my place.”

Alfred sighed, “I will prepare a bag for his temporary relocation.”

“No thanks. I’ll pack everything so you can’t sneak anything in and I’ll still be washing and searching everything before giving it to Tim. No kids getting drugged in my place.” Hearing a motorcycle coming up the cave entry. Turning to look Jason glared at where Cass and Steph were now getting off their bikes.

Steph bounced up the stairs, “Jason! I haven’t seen you in forever! What’s up?” Her face turned worried, “You're not hurt are you?” She glanced around, “Or anyone else?”

Jason narrowed his eyes, “Are you a part of all of this too?”

Steph blinked, “Part of what?”

“Drugging Tim!”

“WHAT?” Steph balked, “Someone’s been drugging Tim?”

Cass tilted her head as she stopped next to Steph and looked around the room, “Them guilty.”

Steph stared at the people ass was looking at, “Wait, you’ve been drugging Tim? With what? I mean I don’t think Jason would be pissed about like vitamins, are you?”

Jason rolled his eyes, “At this point I wouldn’t trust anything anyone here puts in my food, hell I’m not sure if I’m willing to eat here after they’ve,” He pointed at Alfred, Bruce and Dick, “ been lacing Tim’s food and drink with sleeping drugs.”

“Wait…” Steph looked at everyone in the room, “He means you just joked about it right? I mean it’s a shitty joke but nobody actually drugged Tim… right?” When there was no answer she turned to Cass, “Right?”

Cass shook her head.

Steph turned to Jason, “So can we do after patrol snacks at your place? Suddenly feeling a little twitchy about eating here…”

Jason snorted, “I left Tim watching some brownies. Either head over to my place now or wait until I get Tim’s stuff from his room. He’s staying at my place now.”

Steph glanced at Cass, “You know where he lives right?”

Cass nodded.

“Welp,” Steph clapped her hands, “Let’s go then, those brownies aren’t going to eat themselves!”

With that Jason, Steph, and Cass split ways and Dick turned to ask Bruce what Jason was talking about Tim’s birthday. Shortly thereafter another Bat was leaving the cave in a huff.
