"UGH. Do we really need to do this, toots?" Stan shoots out a nasty look onto the even nastier concoction you were making. At first it was these spoonfuls of dusty looking flour you put in a bowl. But then you put water in it, making it change into this weird, light blue-green blend which makes a horrid squelching noise every time you stir. The finished product is some kind of paste consistency, with some.. granules...? In it? Ew.
"Yeah, we actually do."
"Why?"
"Because i want you to take more care of yourself, dummy!" You chirped lightly. When he didn't make the effort to get himself closer to you, you decided to take matters into your own hands by grabbing him by his jaw. His stubble pricked you, though not uncomfortably. Familiar. Like all the times before.
With a little bit of force, you made sure Stan can't squirm himself out of this situation.
"What? I take plenty good care of myself! I, uh, eat yogurt, take the kids 'round town every now and then, and I, um, watch The Duchess from time to time? That's self care, right? Making yerself feel all happy 'n healthy 'n gooey inside?"
You stop your advances for a moment. "Hm. You have a point there," his face lights up at your admission, "but I also want you to do more. Which is why we're starting out simple-- Skincare!" You grab some of the clay mask with your brush, applying it slowly from his temples downwards.
Stan makes a face at the texture. "Yer saying I'm not handsome enough for you anymore?"
"I didn't say any of that," you poke his nose at that, pouting. "Nothing wrong with wanting you to look even more handsome, right?"
"Finee," he says, caving in with fake exasperation. You won't point it out, but you saw the way his eyes softened and how the edges of his lips seemed to be tugged upwards when he heard you said your little hoorays.
"Kay, we're done. Now we just gotta wait for fifteen minutes or so."
"Fifteen?! What if the kids see me in this? What if Soos does? Ford?? Wendy?!!"
"Calm down you knucklehead, we're both in this together." You roll your eyes at his dramatics "Say, how long is one episode of The Duchess?"
"About forty minutes."
"Great! Then we'll watch half of it. I'll go make us some sweet popcorn."
"Ya sure know all the ways to be irresistible, huh?" He pinches your cheek teasingly.
"Wouldn't be with you now if that wasn't the case," you shoot out a wink at him while disappearing into the kitchen, leaving Stan (aaa warm lightly blushing).

"Well, what do you think? Major improvement, right?"
Stan holds his face sceptically, turning it here and there to get a better look at his freshly rinsed face in the mirror.
"Hrmm. I dunno kid, still looks like the same face I've seen all these years." He shrugs with practiced nonchalance. It's not like he's lying. The man who's staring back at him in the mirror is the same man who (idk stan centric stuff). It's just that he won't admit the way his skin feels refreshed and a teensy bit tighter than before.
"Aww, c'mon! I know it feels nice, I know it does!" You whine. After all the work you put in, you're not gonna let it all go for naught. You grab both of his hands, forcing them to touch his cheeks in circular motions. "Can't you feel how smooth and silky and nice it is now?"
Stan laughs at your actions, satisfied with your reactions at his teasing. "Alright, alright. It does feel nice. We'll do this more, okay? You happy now?"
You let out a giddy, celebratory, "Yay!" While Stan watches with amusement.
Though his smile falls when you pull out what looks like a dozen other products from seemingly nowhere.
"Alright! So, your skincare routine from now on will include a cleanser, moisturizer, and you can't forget THIS toner which I made sure to have AHA/BHA
to balance out your skin pH--"
"Ohh, brother..."
