Chapter Text
Its always strange when you are brought back. Especially because the last thing your ghost told you is that if you died here you wouldn't be able to be brought back. Something about is being to dangerous with all the cabal around. So I'm fairly shocked when I open my eyes and see a huge cabal standing over me. A second later my ghost is between me and the cabal, presumably yelling as loud as she can. I see red as I launch myself at the cabal.
I am immediately grabbed out of the air by another cabal who I recognize as the one who killed me. I look back at the first cabal and see my ghost has calmed down and seems to be having a civil conversation. My ghost turns to me and says
"Guardian. Listen to me-"
"I can't listen."
Ghost does her best frown and continues.
"This is Empress Caiatl. She has graciously offered us a place to stay if you are willing to join her army."
I look from my ghost to Caiatl and then to the cabal holding me. I look back at my ghost as Caiatl as she says something and I am set on the floor more gently than I expected from a cabal.
"Tell her I accept."
