I scrubbed myself clean today
To make sure it was all gone
And I accidentally looked in the mirror
Before putting my towel on
I scrubbed myself clean today
With a whole bottle of soap
My skin numbed to the way
That I decided to cope

Until I was red and shaking
I hope the marks don’t stay
And that my thighs will stop aching
I scrubbed myself clean today
But I can still faintly smell
How his scent likes to play
On each and every cell
I scrubbed myself clean today
And tomorrow I’ll scrub harder
To remove the decay
And build a new armor
I scrubbed myself clean today
To look less pretty than before
So he’ll look the other way
And not touch me anymore
