she hadnt showered in days,
laying there in a bed of flowers,
rotting corpses of past loves still floating through her mind,
fleeting memories each fighting their way to the front of her mind,
even though all she thought about was her.
she didnt mind the sun as it peaked through the tall pines,
didnt even shield her face as the rays blinded her,
because her only thought was on her love,
her soul, her body.
she thought of death, and how it ripped her heart away from her,
laughing as she cried out for mercy,
as she cried out when she saw the body,
mangled in the same bloody flowers she lied in.
a wicked smile came across her face as the rays of the sun blinded her,
she deserved it,
for her love begged for mercy as she stood over her with bloody hands,
and only she granted the mercy of death, another sick heart cured.
