Oh, and some ghosts are trapped there, too.

Johnny, Kitty, Shadow, Walker, Technus, Ember, Skulker, Dora, Sidney, Plasmius, and even Pandora, Frostbite, and Clockwork are left on the island—their only chance of survival is working together.

But when his class getting suspicious on just how close he is with ghosts, Ghostly Puberty kicking in, his Death Day closely approaching, and Dark Dan Phantom being a ghost now trapped with them—Danny must survive the island in more ways than one.

Oh, and did I mention it’s all being broadcasted back at Amity Park for all to see without them knowing? No? Well, I mentioned it now!

Chapter 1: Mr Australian Survival Ghost

Chapter Text

William Lancer was droning on about which books they’d read later in the year to his Sophomore English class when Danny Fenton’s ghost sense flew out of his mouth halfway through the lecture; it being just a few days into the new school year and a ghost was already trying their luck against him.

Ever since he had gone into his parents’ non-working Ghost Portal when he was fourteen and got himself electrocuted due to him accidentally hitting the ‘ON’ button positioned inside the machine, he’s been a halfa. Being a halfa, or a half-ghost, gave him ghost powers and even a ghost form—his alter ego of Amity Park’s very own ghost hero, Danny Phantom.

For two years now, being that he was now sixteen years old, he’s been protecting the town of Amity for all the ghosts who came through his parents’ now-working portal for the sole purpose of causing trouble and chaos. Though, he had made some ghostly allis that came by for a little chat or just to enjoy being out of the Ghost Zone for a bit—and those occurrences have luckily been a lot more common as of now. The main reasoning behind most of his old ghostly enemies now becoming allis was the whole Pariah Dark incident.

After he locked away Pariah forever, he had apparently become the heir to the Ghost Zone and the to the title of King since he beat him and technically took his title through conquest. Although, he wouldn’t be king until his eighteenth birthday—his coronation day.

Danny had actually gotten relatively close with many ghosts since then, even some of the ones he rarely saw regularly. Like Pandora, who he knew he visited weekly as well as Clockwork, who both respectively pretty much adopted him as their son separately. Not that he really minded their parental attempts, though. The halfa hadn’t viewed Maddie and Jack Fenton as his birth parents for quite awhile now, after all, there’s only so much lectures on how ghosts needed to be destroyed, plus continuously being ignored—borderline neglected at times, and yelled at for things that aren’t truly his fault that one person can take before they start straying away. So could you really blame him for finding a father figure in Clockwork, who would alter Time itself and piss off the Observants (though he’d probably do that anyways) just to help Danny get a few more minutes of sleep after a rough night or some extra time for studying after a busy weekend?

Or could you blame him for finding a motherly figure in Pandora, who was always taking care of him, helping him, and all in all being a true mother to him despite being an incredibly busy Queen of the Athens Ghostly Acropolis? Yeah, you couldn’t.

“Ghost?” Tucker Foley, his best friend, whispered once he noticed the half-ghost’s sudden alertness in the otherwise boring and dull English class.

“Yep,” Danny groaned as he leaned back in his chair thoughtfully, “But who could it be?”

Sam Manson, his other best friend/girlfriend, gave him a small smile, “Maybe it’s just the Box Ghost, you know he still likes to mess with you even now,”

The halfa snorted, “If it’s him, I’m going to trap him in the thermos and tell Dash to use it as a football,”

Tucker laughed as he failed to try to cover it with a cough while Danny raised his hand to ask Mr. Lancer to leave for some excuse or another so he could transform and see who the ghost was. Well, the good news was that he actually ended up not needing to ask anything. Bad news was that said ghost himself floated into his classroom by phasing through the class walls. His classmates didn’t even scream at the sudden intrusion, merely scooching their desks slightly back instead. Being used to ghost attacks on a daily basis for the last two years would make your scare factor relatively low. Even if it was not one they had ever seen before, ghosts just weren’t as scary anymore since Pariah Dark came to Amity. Which was relatively understandable. Besides, this didn't really seem too….spooky by any means. The ghost looked greatly human in appearance; tall and muscular with pale blonde hair swept back as his pale blue eyes sparkled dangerously. He had a large grin on his face that only spoke of trouble as he wore green army pants and a gray tank shirt with a necklace of a shark tooth on it. He looked like the host of that rugged survivalist from the Australian survival show that Tucker’s mom liked to watch.

“Hello!” His voice was eager and boisterous, like the one of a TV spokesman or a far too eager salesman, “My name is Aaron Sharks and you lucky group are the newest guests to join my Ghost Zone TV program show, ‘Survival’! Congratulations!”

Lancer was holding a rolled up newspaper as if it were a baseball bat for defense against the unknown ghost while he raised an eyebrow, “Pardon?”

“You all will be teleported to my island while you try to survive fourteen days out in the wild! All expenses paid!” Aaron ignored the teacher while he snapped his fingers loudly as the world around the teens and the one adult in the room went completely dark.
