Prolog
Amélie didn’t know how long she’d been running, but she was becoming tired. The long journey had ruined her dress and her shoes were lost a long time ago.
A large castle was visible far away on the horizon, if only my legs would carry me there, Amélie thought. She gathered her last shreds of strength and started walking towards to the castle, her only hope.
After a long journey, Amélie had finally reached to the castle gates. She carefully tried them; locked as expected. But then she got an idea; she was very thin so maybe she could slip through the bars. Amélie sucked her stomach in and miraculously got through the bars. She looked around; the castle grounds were huge and eerie, as it was nighttime.
She walked over the bridge that lead to the castle doors and then turned to the right. She had to walk a while before she found the garden. Gardens usually had sheds and this garden wasn’t a exception. Luck was again on Amélie’s side; the shed wasn’t locked so she could just walk in.
Amélie sighed in relief as she found empty sacks which she could use as a bed. She made herself comfortable as she could and soon she fall asleep.
