Chapter Text

Sirius Black was a beautiful man, with a skill in bed that most people think would come with looks like his. His wavy black hair with perfect towards the bottom and grey eyes held an interesting contrast with his pale skin, giving him a look of youth and something almost angel-like. In the small town his family moved to when he was a small child Sirius was revered. Men and women alike lined up on the streets just to spend time with him.

His father, Orion Black, had died soon after moving to the americas and that left walburga with the choice of going under as a family, or saving her own lavish lifestyle by starting a brothel. One that just so happened to star her own son. Though Sirius was rarely thought of as that by her anymore.

Just her Vixen, the one who brought in many people and kept them wanting more even after they've had him. What made Sirius so valuable in the sex worker world was his desirability between men and women alike. His personality and ability to change to every person's desire and be what they wanted him to be, his ability to be what they pictured as him in their mind. He was loved, and it was an alright life.

Sirius sat on a chair near the window of his bedroom, chest bare and pants barely pulled up from his last customer, his mother had gone to go get the last one for the day. He was exhausted and she knew he was no good when he was exhausted.

There was a group of them, Out in front of the brothel, Walbruga never let them inside without paying her first. And with there being such a demand for him she had to charge double. That was before he even turned 16 years old. Now here he was 19 and the word of his talent and beauty had spread across the entire west coast. Now a lottery was held to be with him.

Tilting his head up as he heard the crowd's commotion from not being able to get to him that day he caught sight of the woods just outside of town. Grimwald was the town's name and Sirius had never stepped foot out of it in the last 10 years.

He heard someone coming up the steps and Sirius knew that he needed to get ready while he still had a few moments to himself. His mother always said when he wasn’tcomposed and ready it “ruined” the experience of the customer. Sirius promptly let his pants slide down to the floor and stepped out of them, laying down on his stomach on the bed.

Remus Lupin was only in town for the day. Just to pick up enough supplies to fix his barn so his animals would have a nice place to sleep when winter came in the coming months. What he wasn't expecting was to see a shining star right in the middle of a hot california dessert.

There he was, walking down the street followed by a man with long blond hair supporting a gun and green cane. He supposed if that was his husband he was smart to be armed, because while he never would, some men would jump on a beauty like that without any hesitation. It wasn't until someone from the crowd started to form because of the star's presence. Said that that wasn't her husband but a guard for the grimwald, a local brothel.

Remus couldn't believe someone as bright as him could've been a prostitute. But that didn't matter, because he was going to be remuses.

He found out very quickly he wasn't the only one who saw the star's beauty, apparently of every person in this town and the next one traveled to just get a glimpse and if god was looking down fondly on that day a taste of Sirius.

Sirius.

The name fit him perfectly.

The brightest star.

Of course when he tried to get inside and have a conversation with the man he found himself blocked by a line of people, all waiting for Sirius. It turned out the women who ran the brothel held a lottery for Sirius and to spend what she called “quality time” with the boy. Remus knew there was nothing in these men’s hearts but lust and anyone who saw him there might say the same.

But no, this interest that Remus felt for the man. This wasn't lust. It was more, he wanted to talk to him, bring him out to his farm. And marry him. Live their lives together.

He could imagine it now Sirius’s dark black hair flowing in the wind, sitting on a dock next to the lake, Remus coming to sit beside him.

He had to meet him.

Of course he had to wait, seeing as there was a line of people when the sun was up, he could only imagine what it would be like when the brothel officially opened for the night. So that’s what he did. Once the doors of the grimwald had officially opened for the night the man waltz inside.

It was filled with many types of people, women, men, drunk ones, sober ones. From all walks of life, race and religion. He began to look around for the man. But saw no sight of him, just other men and women trying to get his attention.

He slowly made his way upstairs until he saw a door guarded by the same body guard on the street.

“Afternoon” he said to the man.

His stone cold face didn’t move, no smile or friendly greeting back. He wore the same black suit from earlier no longer supporting his deep green cane but kept his gun by his side. “No one sees the Vixen without payment first” he told him.

Remus nodded his head and reached into his vest pocket and handed him the money. “Fine. let me see him.”

Once the blond man had counted the money he opened the door, “ten minutes.”

“That’s all I need.” Remus said as he walked in the door of the room.
