"your blood is not the only thing i want from your body"

Summary:

That woman's figure was so perfect that it seemed to be carved, her curves stood out in addition to her long legs and Vi could see how her hair reached below her hips. Vi seemed to have forgotten where she came from, who she was, and who she was looking for; not really at all, because she gripped the stake harder than before. She knew it, knew that she wasn't crazy and that if this wasn't a dream Vi had in front of her, that must be Caitlyn.

Chapter 1: half statue of woman

Chapter Text

It was exhausting, it had been the same for a week now, she didn't want to pay attention to anyone and she got distressed every time she remembered how her life was starting to change a little, it made her anxious to feel that something was going out of her plans and this was it. Vi and her group had always hunted vampires and creatures that were harmless at first sight, they referred to them as harmless until something new reached their ears, theirs, and the entire city's ears. At first no one believed this absurdity, not even Vi and her friends who dedicated themselves expressly to seeing these creatures almost every day, but as the days progressed and they connected the dots everything began to take shape in a certain way and word began to spread, they tried not to let anyone find out but in the end there came a day when the whole city was talking about it.
People were afraid and the most morbid ones told stories to scare the young people and laugh at them.

The most dangerous and oldest vampire that in all the books from thousands of years ago appeared as an old story to keep little children awake at night... existed.

At least Vi was that clear about it, because her friends told her that it was impossible and they saw as she spent hours researching the subject while they told her to leave it.

“See, it's impossible, and if it were the case that it was real, why would she have made a single mistake now so that we could go after her?” - Vander commented while smoking a pipe.

There were the two of them and three more people sheltered in a small cottage that they used on night walks.

“Because that's maybe just what she wants,” Vi responded, super confident knowing that everyone thought she was crazy.

“Vander, maybe she's right... people have disappeared without leaving a single trace and that can only be done by her,” commented another of her friends while trying to eat something without being too hungry.

“Look, do what you want, but don't forget about the truly dangerous creatures that attack the city every day” he blew smoke out of his mouth and let out a gasp as he sat on the ground.

“We cannot be distracted by something that we are not even clear about”

“You are the only one who is not clear about it” Vi responded, trying not to sound abrupt, and looked Vander in the eyes.

Vander sighed and looked away causing her to roll her eyes. She got up to leave the old cottage, angry and with no more weapons than what she had on her, a knife and a small stake clutched to her thigh.
It started to rain but she couldn't stop walking. These situations frustrated her greatly and her head kept spinning wondering how, why, when and at what moment they had reached that point. Not that she completely believed that, but more than her group because she had done the most research and hadn't been sleeping five hours a week at all.

She thought and thought and got angry with herself until she realized where she was. It wasn't a new place, they were hunters and they had seen those forests more than ever, the problem was that she was alone, it was night and it was still raining more than ever. She tried to visualize where she was turning on herself but the fog prevented her from seeing where she had come from and she did not know how to orient herself completely.

“Fuck” she muttered, obviously nervous because of everything she had been thinking, not because of the situation, Vi didn't usually fear anything at all.

She hit the muddy ground, panting, with her foot and then the nearest tree with his knuckles. She rested her forehead on that same spot while she tried to calm down, the situation couldn't be like this anymore, if it was real, it was real and if not, then more of the same, but the problems that each end was developing was what worried her.

After a few seconds she raised her head and something caught her attention, she visualized a statue in the distance, it was a female figure, it was split in half and could only be distinguished from the navel to the feet, the rest was missing. Vi had seen this before and furrowed her brow trying to remember. Her heart raced as soon as she knew it, she reached into one of the pockets of her leather jacket and pulled out a map that she had drawn herself after reading about twenty books. She looked at the paper and the same figure she had drawn and her legs moved immediately. One of her investigations was to find out where that vampire could hide; she seemed not to exist in those stories because she killed without leaving a single trace, neither of herself nor of her victims.

They had always gone to that place to hunt or simply keep watch and never in their life had they seen that statue in that same place. For a moment she thought she was dreaming and as she made her way closer to the statue a huge mansion appeared right in front of her through the fog. It was huge and gloomy, she felt the rain falling harder and started to feel cold, which made her shiver and cough a couple of times.

The paper she had in her hands fell and she was about to fall because her knees were shaking, her breathing was labored and her eyes began to visualize and analyze every window, every detail and every corner of that mansion. She felt like her heart was beating out of her chest and she couldn't move for a few minutes. That enormous building was over-decorated, it seemed taken from the Baroque, it was exuberant to look at how there seemed to be extra decorations.

Her legs finally moved and she approached the entrance of that enormous mansion. She thought that it would be less dangerous to enter through a window, but if that thing had appeared there... it must be for a reason.

She opened the door which made a shrill squeak that almost left her deaf and she immediately looked for a place to hide, choosing an old sofa. Once there she observed the enormous living room, everything seemed used, there was dust, it was a dirty place and she could barely see everything because the door closed with the same sound as it opened and everything went dark.

Vi managed to see something through the moonlight that came through the windows and when she observed that there didn't seem to be anyone, she came out of the hiding place, grabbing her stake and looking at everything little by little. For some reason that huge, almost empty and old room made her feel safe and she began to feel strange, as if it had not been the first time she had been there. She was soaked and that place was not as cold as it seemed, so she let her jacket fall to the floor, leaving it in straps and shook her hair a little, which already needed a cut.

She continued looking around the room and got the feeling that someone had used some things, as if someone had really lived there or was living there. So she wasn't alone?

She raised her gaze and looked carefully at the enormous stairs that went up the sides of the room, leading to a second floor. She had to go up, needed to look at all that, she couldn't and didn't want to leave now without trying to find out what it was. She tightened her grip on the stake and began to climb little by little, the stairs were long and a smell of women's perfume began to attract her, leaving her somewhat disoriented.

When she got to the top she saw a huge window through which even more moonlight was coming in and right in front of it was a dressing table with a huge mirror, it was spotless and there were some clean jewelry too. In that moment she knew she really wasn't alone, someone else was there.

A woman lived there.

Her body felt numb and she remembered again that it could be a dream, so she didn't give it any importance until she began to feel something or someone caressing her waist but only with the tips of the fingers, as if that “something” was afraid. That didn't last too long because Vi turned around in case she saw something and came out of that strange trance although she was still a little sleepy without understanding why.

She swallowed and continued walking to investigate inside a few more rooms. There wasn't much else in that place and she wanted to hit herself to "wake up" but that smell returned to her nostrils; It was a perfume that she had clearly smelled before, it seemed that everything in that place had had to do with her at some point in her life although she couldn't really know why. Her head began to hurt and she walked a little more to at least finish seeing the place before leaving, she continued walking along that same floor thinking that there were only rooms and more rooms left until she collided with what looked like a huge corduroy curtain, hard and with a bad smell, Vi coughed and pushed it away as best she could and immediately her eyes opened in surprise.

Behind that there was another huge room, spacious and with two more stairs that led to another floor, that place seemed to be clean and the smell of that perfume intensified by the moment. The place didn't have much else but Vi was focused on something else.
From the top of those stairs someone was looking at her, her body was motionless and she could recognize that it was a woman, she couldn't see her well, Vi could only make out the silhouette but her heart accelerated from one moment to the next.

She did not give up and took one step forward, after another and after another while she trembled because she knew how all her victims ended up but running away was certain death.

"WHY! WHY ARE YOU APPEARING NOW AFTER BEING HIDING FOR YEARS AND YEARS?”

She thought about it later but maybe yelling at her wasn't a good way to start what she knew she was trying to do. Vi stayed looking at her and she finally started walking, her body moved in a sensual way and that distracted Vi quite a bit. She had her far away but as she walked slowly in front of some windows Vi could see that dark blue hair and gasped.

“It's really you…”

She couldn't control her body, she was paralyzed with fear and kept shaking so much that the stake fell from her hand, stopping Caitlyn's steps. It was for a few seconds because the heels continued clicking as she began to go down the stairs little by little until she was at the same level as Vi but a few meters further away. She didn't know what was going to happen, she would surely attack her until he sucked all her blood and left her there, making her body disappear along with the entire mansion.

Caitlyn was much taller and when she got even closer she could make out her face better. Her eyes were red like blood, she had beautiful high cheekbones, her gaze was penetrating and Vi focused on her lips as soon as the opponent ran her tongue over them. There were still a couple of meters left before she would end up reaching her but Caitlyn stopped and Vi realized that she was squeezing her eyes shut, when she opened them when she stopped hearing the sound of her heels against the porcelain floor.

She raised her gaze, motionless with fear but at the same time noticing how her heart was beating her chest and her senses were sharpening in that woman; she did not understand where the sudden desire that emerged from her came from. The woman was looking at her and Vi didn't know exactly why she was now the one looking at her in fear, what was happening?

“Violet…?” Caitlyn whispered in a broken voice, with pity.
