Chapter Text
1.
It could be said that if you were best friends with the hottest lesbian you had ever seen and nursed a pathetic crush on her for years, but nothing ever happened between the two of you, you were always meant to be just friends.
This was Vi’s logic, at least, because otherwise she would not be able to hang onto her last shreds of sanity around Caitlyn Kiramman.
In the years of their friendship, there had been moments. Drunken, hazy moments where Vi was fairly sure something passed between them, and if either had made a move, something would have happened. But they never did. The line between their friendship and… whatever that something happened to be was clearly drawn. They were friends. Best friends. Vi was good with that.
Vi was good with that, Vi reminded herself, gripping two coffees as Caitlyn swept her hair into a high ponytail and shot Vi a grateful smile. When she went to take her drink back from Vi, her fingers brushed against the other woman’s and Vi took a sip of her coffee to ignore the contact.
It was getting worse. Vi wasn’t too proud to admit that at least. She had thought maybe college, or the year they had tried to live in the same apartment complex would be the worst, due to their constant close proximity. But somehow meeting up with Caitlyn for coffee before work, taking turns cooking dinner at each other’s places on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and spending their Sunday evenings together for quiet time was worse. It was domestic, and it was adult, and it wasn’t like the times when they would just go to the clubs together, when her feelings could be written off by the alcohol and the drugs.
“You guys going out tonight?”
Vi turned her attention away from Caitlyn to where Ekko and her sister were pulling out chairs to sit at one of the small tables in the shop. Jinx was deadeyed and staring at her coffee like she would throw it on the next person that tried to talk to her. The two of them liked to join her and Caitlyn before their labs on Fridays
Caitlyn sipped her coffee, eyes watching Vi, waiting on her answer.
“Wasn’t planning on it. Bars are dry as hell these days,” she commented. She truthfully wouldn’t be opposed to the idea of going out, but she knew Caitlyn hadn’t been enjoying the scene as much, and she would rather stay in with her anyway.
Ekko scoffed. “No fun,” he jeered. “My buddies are going out near campus; Gerd might get his perfect week tonight.”
Vi wrinkled her nose and paused from bringing her cup back up to her lips. “Perfect week?”
Caitlyn smiled into her coffee, chewing on her cheek. Before Ekko could answer her inquiry, Caitlyn mused, “You’ve never heard of the perfect week? I would have assumed you had one under your belt.”
Vi furrowed her eyebrows and glanced over at Ekko for an explanation.
“One week of hooking up with the first girl you flirt with every night.”
“Oh,” Vi frowned. “Doesn’t sound that hard.”
“Cocky as always,” Jinx muttered, still waking up as she listened to the conversation, and Vi punched her in the shoulder, which earned her a murderous glare.
Ekko raised his eyebrows and challenged, “I’d like to see you try, Lanes. My guy’s got more game than anyone I’ve ever seen, and it’s taken him three months to get his perfect week.”
“Sounds like a skill issue,” Vi goaded, but she didn’t accept the challenge. She hadn’t been interested in picking up any girls recently. Another sign of it getting worse.
Ekko got quiet at this, and while he mulled over whatever calculation he was putting together in his head, Vi glanced at Caitlyn, who was watching her with a mixture of amusement and something else unnamable.
“I’ll do those custom CPU upgrades you’ve been wanting for your setup,” Ekko offered, pulling Vi’s attention back, and Vi blinked at the announcement. Vi sat up straighter, opening her mouth to respond, when Ekko held up his hand. “If you land a perfect week on your first try.”
Vi blinked, and then rolled her eyes and sat back in her chair. Crossing her arms, she grumbled, “I’ll just pay you to do it, Little Man.”
Shaking his head, Ekko remained adamant. “Only if you land the perfect week.”
Vi narrowed her eyes at him with a frown. “Fuck you, sorry I insulted your friend, but that’s stupid,” she argued.
“All talk, no follow through, Lanes?” Caitlyn’s voice rang out, teasing her.
Vi turned to Caitlyn aghast. “Et tu, Brute?” she gasped, clutching her chest in faux horror. Caitlyn smirked at her dramatics while Ekko rolled his eyes.
“Start tonight, Cait will watch to make sure you don’t cheat,” Ekko instructed, and Caitlyn hesitated before relenting a shrug and a nod.
“Not like we had any better plans,” Caitlyn stated, and everyone at the table turned to stare at Vi.
Glancing between everyone, Vi shifted in her seat. Finally, she sipped her coffee and rolled her eyes. “Fine. You’ll eat your words, and I’ll get a free upgrade,” she announced, and Ekko smirked.
“C’mon, pot-stirrer,” Jinx punched Ekko in the shoulder. “We have ten minutes to make it to the lab.”
After the two of them left, Vi hummed and kicked Cait under the table. “Traitor,” she muttered.
Caitlyn laughed and retorted, “What? I’m genuinely curious if you can do it. All that talk for all these years, and I feel like I’ve never really seen Vi Lanes in action.”
Vi groaned and rubbed her hand over her face. “I’ve been wanting these upgrades from Ekko forever. I can’t believe he’s basing it off this,” she complained. “And the little twerp is always at my apartment late into the night watching horror movies with Jinx. It’ll be so obvious if I don’t manage to bring someone home every night.”
Shooting her a sympathetic smile, Cait reached across the table and patted her hand. She had that look in her eye that she got every time Vi seemed particularly stressed and she was about to offer to come over to clean her apartment or do her laundry.
This was why she was surprised, nay, absolutely fucking floored when Caitlyn looked her in the eye and offered, “If you strike out one night, you can just use me as a backup. I won’t tell.”
Vi blinked at Caitlyn, the words ringing in her ears as she shook her head, clearly hearing things. “You mean like, to fake a hookup? I don’t think they’ll fall for that.”
Caitlyn frowned, taking a sip of her coffee. “Why would we fake it?”
Vi choked on her coffee as she realized Caitlyn fucking Kiramman was offering to have sex with her. As a favor. Like it was a standard good deed offered by standard good people. Like it was normal volunteer work. You know, work at an animal shelter, donate computers to the elderly, offer to fuck your best friend when she’s in a pinch. The well-known trifecta of humanitarian aid.
She stared at Caitlyn, waiting for the catch. Because they didn’t do this. Years of drunken near misses and fumbling anytime the opportunity presented itself. This was never in the picture for them.
Well, she guessed, it was never in the picture for them until now. When Cait had said it. Outloud at a coffee shop as if this were something they absolutely did do and didn’t warrant any sort of earth-shattering revelations.
Cait raised her eyebrow at Vi, her expression impassive as she waited for her response. Vi shrugged, keeping her face neutral as she agreed, “Yeah, no, that would be a good option if I needed it.” She kept her tone casual, but Cait hummed at the response, turning her head down to stare at something that just pinged on her phone.
Vi rubbed her hand through the long side of her hair. How was she possibly supposed to focus on picking up any other women when she knew she would land Cait if she didn’t? It would be impossible, what woman would even compare to the option of Cait instead? How could she not hope to take Cait up on her suggestion every night of the week?
A blush encroached on her cheeks as she leaned back in her chair and began mentally chiding herself. The offer wasn’t a guaranteed night with Caitlyn. It was a back up. Only to be used in an emergency. Smash glass only if fire is present. She couldn’t, say, get a woman to purposefully reject her one night, just to end up with Cait. That would be a total betrayal of their boundaries as friends.
No, she would have to do this right. She would have to earnestly try to pick up girls while Cait watched her, and just hope one of the girls turned her down. She was a dolt anyway, always saying something stupid when talking to pretty girls. It would be easy to end up with Cait one night with her morals still intact.
“I’ll meet you at your apartment tonight then?” Cait asked, glancing up from her phone to where Vi was now slouched far too casually to be comfortable. “Might be easiest to just hit the bar down the street from you and not have to worry about transportation.”
Nodding, Vi agreed, trying to calm the butterflies in her stomach, trying not to think about one of the possible outcomes of the evening to come. “See you then, cupcake,” she replied instead with a wink, and a smile ghosted at the corner of Cait’s lips as she swept out of the door of the coffee shop.
Vi had probably her least productive day of work in years as her mind was constantly being tugged back to the date, and Caitlyn’s offer, and the possibility of taking Caitlyn home and sleeping with her. The more she thought about it, the more anxious it made her.
She wanted it. God she wanted it. But maybe there was a point where she wanted it too much and it would do more harm than good than to get what she wanted for one night only. She couldn’t imagine the crashout she would experience the day when she realized she had had Caitlyn and now no longer had her.
By the time Caitlyn met her at her apartment that evening, Vi was anxiously pacing back and forth in her living room, hands braced behind her head as she practiced her breathing. She was way out of her depth, and she didn’t quite know why she wasn’t just calling Ekko and telling him he won and she wouldn’t go through with the stupid bet.
But once she heard the knock on the door, and she opened to find Caitlyn, beautiful as ever, shooting Vi an easy, kind smile, Vi felt her nerves settle. They always did around her.
“Ready to get the show on the road?” Cait asked with a wink, and Vi could do nothing but nod and offer Cait her arm to lead her to the bar down the street.
They managed to grab a table in the corner, and Vi scooted into the same side of the booth as Cait on instinct, her arm bumping into the other woman’s as she shrugged off her coat. She reached out to glance at the menu of specials on display at the center of the table, but tossed the menu back when she realized it didn’t have anything the two of them would be interested in.
“Glass of red?” Vi asked, turning to Caitlyn who began to open her mouth in response. “Or a gin and tonic if they don’t have anything dry enough for you?” Vi continued, guessing what the other woman’s words were going to be.
Pressing her lips together, Cait rolled her eyes and relaxed back in her seat, as Vi bounced out of the booth and bounded up to the bar. It took a minute for the bartender to have a moment to address her, but making a judgement call that the wine would live up to Caitlyn’s standards, she ordered the glass of red and a beer for herself. Caitlyn was on her phone when she returned to the table.
As Vi approached, her eyes glanced up at her and smiled when she saw the wine glass in Vi’s hand.
“Thank god,” she greeted. “I needed a good glass after today,” she sighed as Vi plopped back down in the seat beside her.
Taking a swig of her beer, Vi furrowed her eyebrows as she slouched into the seat, stretching her arm across the back of the booth seat. “Tough day?” she inquired, and Caitlyn tilted her head as she sipped at her wine.
“Long,” Cait clarified. “Still trying to clean up that paralegal’s mistake from two weeks ago, and the judge has been up our ass for the corrections. But I think after today it’s mostly been handled.”
Vi hummed and teased, “Well, if you hadn’t egged on Ekko, we could be curled up on my couch with an entire bottle of wine and watching that detective show you love, but alas.” Vi gestured at the bar as she spoke and Caitlyn shook her head.
“No way, you think I’d miss seeing this?” she brushed off, and Vi groaned and shook her head.
Not for the first time that day, she said, “I can’t believe I agreed to this.”
Caitlyn looked like she could barely contain her excitement as she bounced to the edge of her seat and propped her leg up under her to have a better vantage of the bar. “Alright, now who are we thinking for your first mark?” she asked, turning her head to the crowd. It was busy for a Friday, and Vi pulled her eyes off Caitlyn long enough to help survey. “Looks like there are a lot of good options out there,” Cait teased, bumping Vi with her shoulder and turning to her with a raised eyebrow.
Vi scoffed and took another drink of her beer, fighting the heat climbing on her cheeks. This was going to be near impossible. There was a reason Vi had never pulled girls around Cait before. The thought of doing so while Cait watched her made her skin crawl. Like she was an animal sending out the wrong pheremones. She couldn’t think of any way she would get through this night, let alone this week, without acknowledging Cait’s offer.
So she decided to address it head on. Maybe it would make it less weird if she joked about it. Maybe then she wouldn’t say something stupid one of the nights or when- if they ended up hooking up that would betray her true feelings.
Eyes leveling with Caitlyn’s, Vi stated, “Their rebound is Caitlyn Kiramman. They’ve got to be a lot better than good to catch my attention tonight.”
Cait scoffed, but her eyes darted away from Vi’s and didn’t meet them again. Instead, she busied herself by intently studying the crowd to find the perfect mark.
“Okay, there,” she called out, pointing towards a woman walking their way. The woman looked pretty and sweet. She was sporting a wide grin and waved her hand at a group of women behind her before she kept walking straight for Vi and Cait’s corner of the bar. “I think she’s coming over to talk to you anyway, she was staring at you while you were at the bar,” Cait continued, sitting further down in her seat to give Vi all her intel, and Vi tried to keep her attention on the woman walking towards her and not Cait’s low voice just beside her ear.
When her eyes met the woman’s, she watched them light up and she offered a smile and a wave in return. As she got closer, Cait’s hand shoved on Vi’s back, and Vi stumbled to scoot forward and stand out of the booth.
The other woman noticed the motion and seemed to relax at the confirmation that the woman with Vi was encouraging her to talk to other women. When she met the now standing Vi, she batted her eyelashes and opened with, “Hey, sorry to bother you, but I swear I recognize you from somewhere.”
Vi bit back her smile at the opening, knowing how to play straight into and forcing her mind to forget the fact that Cait was just behind her. “Not surprising,” Vi shrugged. “I get that all the time.”
The woman giggled and pressed her hand to her mouth. “Oh, do you? Are you an influencer or something? One of those girls always taking videos of themselves at the gym?” she inquired, and her eyes oogled Vi’s biceps.
Ekko could literally eat shit. This was too easy.
“Nah,” Vi turned down. “Everyone always tells me I look like the woman of their dreams.”
There was a loud scoff behind them, but Vi had warmed up enough to ignore it. Cait didn’t know how to trust the process. You start off goofy, charming, innocent. Makes for a better hook when you turn the tables later.
The woman in front of her blushed and then laughed a little too loudly as she punched Vi lightly in the shoulder. “Oh, she’s cute and cheesy,” she mused. “Woman of my dreams indeed.”
Vi grinned and held out her hand. “I’m Vi.”
“Hi, Vi. I’m Briar,” the woman responded. “Do you live around here?”
“Trying to take me home already?” Vi asked, a cheeky smile alight her face and the other woman ducked her head and wobbled slightly on her feet. Vi paused.
“No!” she insisted. “Just trying to get to know you.”
Deciding to put Briar out of her misery, Vi offered, “I live just down the street, but I don’t come to this bar often. Are you a regular here?”
“No,” Briar answered, “but my friends are.” She gestured back towards the group of women who were watching their conversation intently.
Vi raised her eyebrows and murmured, “I’ll have to thank them later, for bringing you tonight.”
Briar let out another shy laugh, and she reached out her hand to the stool next to her to steady her. Vi narrowed her eyes at the action, starting to get a better picture of the scene playing out in front of her.
“Do you live around here?” Vi inquired then, and the woman shook her head fervently.
“I live on the other side of the city,” she explained. And then with a soft drunken hiccup, she added, “So it’ll have to be yours tonight!” Her eyes sparkled mischieviously and her eyes moved down Vi’s body to very obviously undress her in the middle of the bar.
This was too easy. Because the woman was drunk off her rocker. Vi sighed but kept her expression neutral.
“Careful,” she murmured, still playing into her role as she determined how she was going to get this woman back to her friends safely and without protest. “All the women I bring back to mine have their lives ruined.”
Briar pouted, but it didn’t reach her eyes. “Are you a heartbreaker, Vi?” she asked, but she didn’t seem deterred by the notion in the slightest. “Because I happen to have a very tough heart.”
Vi hummed and shrugged. “That may be, but it doesn’t save you from wishing it were me every time after.”
Now Briar was fully staring at Vi, perhaps even salivating. Vi could picture a different night, Briar a little more sober and Vi a little more drunk, and they would have fun together. She didn’t mourn it though.
“Cocky,” Briar replied.
In a low voice, Vi answered, “If you’re lucky.”
The woman was breathing heavily for several minutes, taking in these words. And as she did, her eyes were fluttering open and close, hanging heavy over her eyes.
“Bathroom?” she finally whispered, maybe putting together that she was too drunk to make it to a bedroom. Vi wrapped an arm around her and began leading her away.
Briar was nearly passed out by the time they had crossed the bar back to her friends. Vi stopped them at the bar for water before they made it all the way back, and her friends immediately lept up to help Briar from the stranger she had just been flirting with.
“Just a little drunk, don’t embarass her too much about it when she comes to,” Vi requested, handing the woman off, and one of her friends groaned.
“God she did like six shots just to work up the nerve to talk to you,” she confided, confirming Vi’s theory of how the situation had gone down.
“No harm, no foul,” Vi assured her, glancing back at her table to check if Cait was doing okay or if she needed a refill on her wine. She found her friend staring intently at her glass, cheeks red as she frowned and bore an intense look in her eyes.
“Thank you so much,” one of Briar’s friends thanked again, patting Vi on the back. “Can we get your number for her for when she’s sober?”
Vi blinked back into the conversation. Her friends now had Briar in their booth and were coaxing her to drink the water Vi had handed them. Glancing back at Cait, who was now stroking the side of her wine glass with her thumb before she down the last large amount, Vi turned back to the table with an apologetic smile.
“I’m sure I’ll see her around,” she offered instead, and the group glanced back to where Vi’s gaze had gone and shared a look before they all made a silent decision and let Vi exit their presence.
Vi stopped by the bar on her way back to the table for another glass of wine and a beer. As she approached their table, Cait nodded to herself before she pushed herself up from the booth and almost ran straight into Vi.
Vi pulled their drinks back to avoid them from spilling onto Cait as she chuckled. “Going somewhere?” she teased, and Cait blinked owlishly at her.
“You- I thought you were-”
Vi shrugged, “She was extremely drunk. I was just trying to get her back to her friends.”
Cait blinked again, her face rosy as she pressed her lips together and processed the information. “Oh,” she stated. “I’m glad you brought her back to her friends then. But also, sorry, that sucks,” she then offered.
Vi brushed it off. “Well at least now you know my lines work on extremely drunk women,” Vi reasoned with a shrug, and she tried not to feel disappointed she messed up the bet on the first night.
“That’s not all they work on,” Cait murmured, and when Vi frowned down at her, she straightened up and cleared her throat, her face red from the wine she had been consuming all night. “Do you want to get out of here then?” she asked, and Vi handed her another glass of wine.
“One more round,” she murmured. “Tell me about your shitty day for real this time and then we’ll head out.”
Cait hesitated, and then her hand wrapped around the wine glass and she slipped back into the booth, Vi following her. The two settled into a normal position for them, Cait’s back against the back wall of the booth while her legs were propped up across Vi’s lap. Vi’s hand rested on Cait’s thigh, her thumb rubbing small circles while she watched Cait bitch about the situation she’s been made to clean up. As Vi drank her beer, she couldn’t find it in herself to be upset at missing out on any other action that night.
It wasn’t until they were walking up the stairs to Vi’s apartment that Vi remembered Caitlyn’s offer. Or rather, it wasn’t until they were walking up the stairs to Vi’s apartment that Caitlyn reminded her of her offer.
“You know I meant it, right?” Cait whispered, her fingers intertwining with Vi’s as they neared Vi’s apartment door and heard the low sounds of screams and creepy music coming from under her door. “There’s no reason you should be punished when the first woman that approached you was too drunk for anything.”
Vi stopped walking at the words. “We don’t have to-” she began, but Cait turned to her, her eyes hooded from the alcohol as she tilted her head, and Vi found herself unable to continue her sentence.
“Would you rather return home empty handed on the first night of the bet?” she teased, her fingers reaching out to play with the small hairs on the nape of Vi’s neck.
The bet was the last thing on Vi’s mind at that moment. She didn’t give a rat’s ass if she lost that stupid bet with Ekko. Her concern was whether Caitlyn actually wanted to do this. If Caitlyn actually wanted to sleep with her.
When Vi didn’t respond after a long moment, Caitlyn took a step closer to her, her expression shifting from teasing to something more sincere as she murmured, “Don’t overthink it, Vi.”
Vi’s breaths shallowed as she tried to remember how to breathe with Caitlyn’s face hovering so close to her own. Her heart stuttered and something in her said that this wasn’t good for her. That this–Caitlyn Kiramman–might actually kill her if she took this any further than the missed opportunity all of their other moments ever were.
But Cait was there, and she was willing, and she was telling Vi to not overthink it. And if Vi weren’t overthinking it, she wanted to win the stupid bet, she wanted those damned upgrades, and more than anything ever before in her life, she wanted to kiss her best friend.
So she did.
Caitlyn’s lips met her own in a heated kiss, and Vi felt like her entire body had been lit on fire. Her hands grasped at Caitlyn, pulling her closer as their tongue’s met and Vi swallowed a groan. Her hands cupped Cait’s ass in her tight jeans that always drove her fucking insane, and Cait responded by digging her fingers into the back of Vi’s hair.
Cait let out a gasp as Vi’s lips trailed from her own and made their way towards Cait’s neck, lifting her by the ass so she was tiptoeing to allow Vi better access to lick and nip at her throat. Vi felt one of Cait’s legs move up her side and wrap around her hips, and Vi answered her question by sinking down for a better grip before lifting Cait up to wrap both legs around her waist, never breaking her contact with the woman’s neck.
Once Cait was lifted above her, she pulled hard at Vi’s hair and forced her to tilt her head back up to capture her lips in another heated kiss. This time they met each other with their mouths open, tongues fighting for controls as they swirled around each other and drank each other in.
Vi pressed forward, slamming Cait’s back into her door, and Cait’s breath caught at the action, her hips rolling into Vi’s waist.
“Fuck,” Vi whispered into Cait’s mouth, and she knew she needed to get them inside her apartment imminently, lest she wanted all of her neighbors to be privy to the scene that was about to play out.
Still kissing Cait and pinning her up against the door, Vi dug through her back pocket for her apartment key and fumbled to align it with the keyhole in the door to let them in. While she attempted to pull off this feat, Cait once again used her grip in Vi’s hair to direct the woman’s head in a different direction, and soon Cait was sucking on the sensitive spot behind Vi’s ear.
“Shit,” Vi moaned, and the key slipped out of her fingers and dinged onto the floor.
Cait hummed into her ear, but let out a laugh when she realized what had happened and pulled back from the kiss, wriggling out of Vi’s grasp long enough to get herself down and allow Vi to pick up her key.
As Vi bent over and retrieved her key, Cait remained leaned up against the door, staring at Vi with an unreadable expression. She watched as Vi successfully slipped her key into the keyhole this time, and turned the doorknob. Once she knew they had accessed the apartment, Cait snaked her hands back around Vi’s neck and led her backwards into the hall of the small apartment.
Vi’s bedroom was just off the hallway, and Vi had never been more grateful she didn’t have to walk by the living room where her sister and her boyfriend were posted up after their short night out. Instead, she pushed her door open and followed Cait as she continued to back them in.
The moment Vi’s door closed behind them, Caitlyn was tugging at Vi’s shirt, pulling the clothes off with a sort of ferocity Vi knew she only got when she was on a warpath for something she wouldn’t be denied. Vi began unbuckling her own pants and kicking off her shoes. The moment her pants were off, she made for Cait’s, her brain unable to allow for anyone but herself to peel the skin tight fabric off of Cait’s legs.
As she revealed Cait’s perfect body, her hands grazing Cait’s bare skin as she pulled her pants down and Cait moving her hands to rip her own shirt off, Vi only had one thought running through her brain. She wasn’t going to fuck this up. She wasn’t going to make Cait regret offering to help her out.
Cait preferred being eaten out. That was one of those casual facts Caitlyn had dropped into a conversation with Vi two years ago, that had rattled around in her brain incessantly since the words had left Caitlyn’s lips. A fact that Vi had wished every day since she had heard it that she would be able to put to good use.
When her shirt had been thrown off and tossed across the room, Cait turned to Vi, capturing her lips to continue their heated kiss. Vi’s skin felt electric at every spot hers and Caitlyn’s bare skin grazed against each other. Cait made a motion to push Vi back onto the bed, and she let out a gasp when Vi didn’t budge and instead wrapped her large hands around Caitlyn’s thighs and lifted her up as she sank to her knees.
Cait’s hands instinctively reached behind her to brace herself on the wall as Vi pushed her thighs up to rest on her shoulders, and fuck. Caitlyn looked beautiful like this. Her abs were clenched, holding herself up from toppling over now that her feet were dangling in the air behind Vi’s back; her mouth hung open, pupils blown wide as she stared at Vi, seemingly rendered speechless for the first time Vi had known her. When she took a shuddering breath that shook her chest and vibrated her breasts, it took everything in Vi to not drop her from where she was held and wrap her mouth around one of her nipples.
But Vi was quickly distracted by the smell of Caitlyn’s arousal hovering in front of her nose, and her eyes flicked back down to where Caitlyn’s pussy shined slick with the wetness that had been building since their first kiss moments before. Vi felt a rising tide of overwhelm taking over her mind as she couldn’t quite believe she was here, with Caitlyn, about to taste her for the first time. How many times had she imagined this moment? How many times had she fucked herself in the bed just behind them to the thought of doing just this?
“Vi,” Caitlyn gasped, rolling her hips in an attempt to push her hips closer to Vi’s face. The overwhelming feeling swept away as Vi glanced up at Caitlyn and leaned forward, flattening her tongue and running it down the entire length of Cait’s opening, never breaking eye contact with her. “Oh my god,” Caitlyn moaned, her hips pressing forward as she threw her head back into the wall.
Taking the encouragement, Vi shifted her hands upwards to brace Cait’s waist and push her to sit taller on top of Vi’s mouth. An undignified gasp left the other woman’s lips as she removed one of her hands from the wall behind her and instead dug her fingers into Vi’s hair to steady herself.
Caitlyn tasted unreal. A little salty and a little sweet, but so Caitlyn. It was intoxicating, the feeling of the other woman’s hot arousal surrounding her tongue. Vi worked eagerly, dipping her tongue deep into Caitlyn’s pussy before sweeping it out and swirling around her clit. She hummed as her work became messy, her face covered more and more with the hot, thick moisture that was building at Caitlyn’s core. The vibration of her hum seemed to shoot straight through the woman as the grip in her hair became so tight, Vi made quick peace with the idea of having to shave the other side of her head, should Cait rip any of her hair out.
“Vi, Vi, Vi,” Cait breathed, beginning to grind her hips onto Vi’s face as she whispered her name like a prayer.
Vi had never fucked Caitlyn before, but she knew her best friend well enough to know she was unraveling at a lightning pace and was near her climax. Cait’s thighs squeezed the sides of her head, her heels digging into Vi’s back as she threw back her head and moaned, “Yes, Vi, yes. Take me. Oh my god.”
And who was Vi to refuse her?
Her tongue and lips focused on her clit, swirling and nipping as she listened for Caitlyn’s breaths, which were becoming more and more erratic. When she heard a breath shudder and stop, Vi flattened her tongue and pushed it up against Cait’s entrance, eagerly allowing the woman to ride out her orgasm against her tongue.
“Vi!” Caitlyn cried, as she lurched forward and wrapped her legs tight around Vi’s head. Vi’s arms burned, but she kept Cait steady as she balanced on her shoulders and let out a silent scream as she came.
When Caitlyn came back into her senses, her body loosened up, melting a bit a contact between her and Vi, she moved to brace herself against the wall once more and let herself down from the position, but Vi didn’t give her the opportunity.
Instead, Vi wrapped her arms around Cait’s thighs and Caitlyn stiffened as she slowly stood with Cait perched on her shoulders. Cait breathed through her nose and opened her mouth to question Vi, but was silenced when Vi’s tongue swept past her clit again.
As Caitlyn let out a gasp, Vi fell backwards and landed on the bed with Cait’s heat once again perched above her. Cait was still folded over, her hands catching herself before her face planted into the bed. Huffing, she began to chastise Vi.
“Warn a girl before you-”
And then Vi’s mouth was on her pussy again, somehow more demanding than it had been the time before, and Cait’s admonishment was lost in a deep, throaty moan.
It took several minutes of Vi’s tongue pressing into her before Cait found the strength to push herself up from where she was hunched over and actually sit on Vi’s face. The moment she had accomplished this feat, Vi looked up at her and didn’t waste anymore time before her hands were cupping Cait’s breasts, squeezing and pinching and rolling her nipples between her fingers.
“Shit,” Caitlyn gasped. “Shit, Vi. You’re gonna make me- Don’t stop.” Cait’s fingers itched for something to hold onto to steady herself as she began grinding fervently into Vi’s face, Vi’s nose every so often bumping into her clit and sending jolts of pleasure throughout her body. She finally settled on Vi’s arms, digging her fingers into the muscles there as she chased her second orgasm.
Vi hummed again, and the sensation was almost enough to send Cait back over the edge. “Good girl,” Vi murmured, and this, instead, was the final straw before Caitlyn’s body clenched and she let out a high pitched moan.
This time Vi didn’t stay stationary, instead lapping up and swallowing as much of Caitlyn’s come as she could, the woman above her jerking anytime her tongue came too close in contact with her sensitive areas. When Caitlyn was as cleaned up as Vi could get her, the woman collapsed on the bed sideways, her head landing on Vi’s pillows as she buried her face in her hands and tried to steady her breathing.
Vi turned to watch her, head still positioned between her legs as Cait let out a small laugh and whispered, “I hate that you know how good you are at that. It’s going to make your ego too big.”
It had already made her ego too big. Vi was already sporting a head that wouldn’t fit through her door at the idea that she had gotten Caitlyn Kiramman off on her mouth twice in a matter of minutes.
“Give me a second for my legs to not feel like jello to repay the favor,” Cait continued.
Vi hummed, repositioning her body to be parallel with Cait’s and draped her legs over her back as she rested her head just under her stomach. Cait blinked up at her with a frown as Vi smiled innocently at her and then ducked her head down to her pussy once more and licked her entrance.
Cait’s eyes widened as she weakly tried to protest. “Vi-”
She isn’t sure what possessed her to say it, but Vi cut her off and murmured, “I bet that other woman would have taken my mouth three times.”
Something indecipherable crossed Cait’s eyes at the words, something dark and almost wild. Her jaw clenched as she stared at Vi staring back at her, a question in her eyes.
Caitlyn buried her fingers in Vi’s hair and yanked her into her heat. Vi responded in a millisecond, tongue swirling through the heat and the taste she had become accustomed to, that she was sure would ruin all other pussy for her. Caitlyn was coming undone this time, moreso than any other time. She bucked her hips into Vi messily, almost growling as she searched for the friction she needed.
Vi held steady, keeping her mouth preoccupied with her task at hand, fingers gripping into Cait’s hips to try to still her enough for Vi to bury herself deeper.
“Vi,” Caitlyn gasped. “Oh my god, fuck you. I could take you four times if you wouldn’t be so fucking insufferable about it.”
Now that was a challenge Vi would take her up on.
Vi kept her pace fervent, but when she started to feel Cait tense up beneath her, her breathing stuttering again, she slowed down and began to languish in the taste. Her tongue lapped slowly, taking her time to taste every last drop, and she all but ignored Cait’s sensitive clit, relishing in the deteriorating sanity of the woman beneath her.
“Taste good, cupcake,” Vi murmured, her hands grazing Cait’s sides and moving up to pinch her nipples every so often.
Caitlyn was disintigrating now, her head throwing back into quiet whimpers. “Vi, I need- Please-”
“What do you need?” she asked, and with a pointed drag, her tongue ran over her clit. Caitlyn’s body jolted as she moaned and tried to grind down on Vi’s face, but Vi pulled back and kept herself just out of reach.
“Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you,” Caitlyn cursed, rocking her body and searching for the relief she craved. “I want it, Vi. I want to come on your face again, please,” she tried when the expletives didn’t seem to help her case.
Vi pressed her face into Cait’s cunt and hummed. “Want?” she asked.
“Need,” Caitlyn corrected, her fingers digging into Vi’s forearms, and Vi pressed her mouth onto her clit and sucked.
A scream escaped Cait’s throat, and she tried to quiet herself by pressing her own hand over her mouth. When Vi sucked again, Cait was silent as she opened her mouth into a scream that never manifested itself, her body clenching and coming over Vi’s face once more.
Vi didn’t think she would ever tire of cleaning Cait up after she orgasmed. Her tongue melted through the folds of liquid spilling onto her face, as she sucked and swallowed every ounce of the salty sweetness off Cait’s cunt.
When she was done, she rested her head on Cait’s leg, fluttering her eyes close as she was more content than she had ever been before in her life. Cait’s body seemed to be limp beneath her, her chest heaving as she tried to catch her breath and her arm covering her eyes as recovered.
It was several minutes before Vi felt the familiar fingers slip through her hair and try to pull her upwards.
Vi knew what Cait was asking for, but she resisted. “I think I was promised a fourth-”
“If you don’t let me fuck you in the next thirty seconds, I will never speak to you again, Violet Lanes,” Caitlyn threatened as she tugged at Vi’s hair hard.
If the threat wasn’t enough to convince her to move, the use of her full name certainly was. Vi crawled up to hover over Cait’s face, and her lips were caught in a forceful kiss. Vi tried to impose herself onto Caitlyn, but felt herself huff in surprise as the other woman wasn’t having it any longer and expertly wrapped her legs around Vi and flipped them over.
Vi watched as Cait straddled her, her hands exploring Vi’s chest and her abs, her eyes blown out as she stared at the woman beneath her. When her hand moved to Vi’s core, she paused and considered. Then, making her decision, she lowered herself back down other Vi’s chest, their breasts and stomachs flush against each other, and then snaked her fingers through Vi’s slit and into her opening.
Vi knew she wasn’t met with any friction. She was so wet at this point, it wouldn’t take more than a matter of seconds to get her off. Not with the scenes of Cait coming over her mouth sweeping through her mind and the feeling of Cait’s warm body pressed against her.
“Turned on?” Cait mused, going straight from one finger to three and thrusting into Vi’s cunt at a breakneck pace. Something in Vi knew that Cait wasn’t always like this with her lovers. She didn’t usually race to the finish like this. Vi had unraveled her so much, she needed a sense of control to reset the balance between them as fast as possible. She needed to feel like she had as much of Vi as Vi had of her.
The thought alone made Vi let out a breathy whine. “Fuck off,” she murmured. “You’ll kill me.”
Caitlyn laughed at this, her thumb pressing on Vi’s clit.
“I’m serious,” Vi continued. “I think you’re going to kill me.” Her fingers dug into Cait’s back as she found and curled her fingers into just the right spot. Her head tilted back to stare at the ceiling because everything else was too overwhelming in that moment.
“I don’t want to kill you,” Cait murmured, her hand relentless now, slamming into Vi’s pussy with a wet sound and making Vi’s body prickle. Moving her mouth right by Vi’s ear, she sucked in the spot she had found in the hall previously and then whispered, “I want to ruin you.”
Too late, Vi’s mind screamed, just before she moaned and her cunt clenched around Cait’s fingers. Cait kept up her pace as she rode out her orgasm, and when Vi’s body finally slumped, she slipped out her soaked hand. Cait let out a contented sigh before she brought the fingers up to her lips and sucked each clean individually.
Eyes wide and heart stuttering, Vi watched her, and when Caitlyn noticed her audience, she slowed down her pace, making a show of cleaning Vi off of each of her fingers.
When she fingers the last finger with a pop out of her mouth, Vi pressed her lips forward to kiss Cait. The kiss was fervent for a few minutes, the two fighting for control once again as their teeth nipped at each other and their tongues pushed forcefully into their months. But after a while it slowed into a soft, sentimental kiss as they held each other and caught their breath. When they pulled away, Cait rested her head back into the crook of Vi’s neck and steadied her breathing.
“We should get cleaned up before we fall asleep,” she murmured, and Vi hummed in agreement, but neither made a move to get up. It felt like too much to disturb the scene at this juncture. Vi was sure there were a lot of terrifying, complicated emotions currently being held at bay by her post-orgasm haze and the feeling of Cait’s naked body pressed against hers.
So if Cait wasn’t leaving, neither was Vi. And in some small way, she knew that complications aside, everything in the universe was still okay. It was just as it had always been.
A few minutes later, both of their breaths lulled off as they fell asleep tangled up in each other.
