I typically write with a feminine AFAB reader in mind by default. That said, there will be stories where the reader’s gender won’t play a significant role in the narrative, especially in fluff-focused pieces where anatomy isn’t mentioned at all.
I’m basing my interpretation of Jayce on Arcane’s Jayce Talis rather than League of Legends’ version (Giopara). I haven’t played the game, so sticking to the show feels more authentic—and let’s be honest, it’s probably what most people prefer! I’ll likely be writing Pre-Act 2 Jayce more often, as I find that timeline to be the most versatile and fun to explore
