Chapter Text
Farah had been wandering the grounds of Alfea for days, ever since she had “said goodbye” to Bloom and her friends. Something was holding her back from leaving. She had a terrible feeling that something was missing in her life, that something else had to be done at Alfea, and that whatever it was was very important, or was very important to her. Obviously Saul Silva had always been a very important part of her, and for her. He was her specialist but more importantly: he was her husband. When she said goodbye to Bloom, she had given the young Fairy a message for Saul, she had to give it to him in person and alone, though it was as simple as “I love you, and I will always love you. I was once the headmistress of Alfea, now it will be your turn to be. Guide them along the way, you know what mistakes not to make again. Make the next generation of Faeries and Specialists a force to be feared and the first that the future Queen Stella will look to in order to protect Solaria.”
He had seen Saul cry when Bloom gave him his message, he had seen the redhead comfort her husband and smiled sadly. She hated having to leave them, but something was stopping her from leaving and that something was the two of them, she knew it, but she didn't understand why, why couldn't she leave? Saul was an adult and knew how to protect and guide Alfea, and Bloom, Bloom had her parents in the Other World and her friends in her School....
A strange feeling at the thought of Bloom came over her, the same feeling that came over her that time the little redhead had asked her to hug her: Pride and pain. Pain for Bloom's situation and all that she had to carry being so young, and with a tremendous responsibility that neither she nor the students deserved, a war was not something they had to carry on their shoulders, no one and even less being so young.
Farah was moving above the grounds of Alfea, like a glittering glitter light, floating in the air and touring the place where she had died. Her gait , or float was as graceful as her step when she had her body. He passed by the cemetery and noticed Bellatrix's grave, he looked at it with a certain sadness. Beatrix had made mistakes, mistakes she had made only to please her adoptive father Andreas. He understood that she had been raised and manipulated to follow Rosalind's plans, but he did not exonerate her from some of the blame for her actions. He did not wish her the death she had and also witnessed, he understood that Bellatrix was lonely and that she saved Alfea, Bloom and her friends , with a sole intention of being able to find her sisters, sisters that Sebastian had supposedly told her she had, but she had also been manipulated by Sebastian, as she really had no sisters, her entire family had died in AsterDell , and Andreas had adopted the girl when he saw that she had potential to become his war.
Something pulled her in the direction of Alfea and all she could do was let go.
“It's just that there has to be another way to close it” Sky's voice rang in his mind . Was she overhearing a conversation from Sky and Bloom?
“We don't have time...” Bloom's voice echoed in response.
Farah reached where the teens were and floated above them, like a violet light or violet energy that floated too gracefully to be just a light or energy. She looked at Sky and Bloom
“I was about to destroy Alfea Sky today, I'm a danger and mom knew it...The Dragon flame shouldn't be here...”
Farah floated above the two of them. Bloom would cross her through that portal if she didn't do something! Sky had to stop her! It was risky, Reckless, a completely impulsive decision and... I let out a laugh somewhere between amused and sad. Was she describing Bloom or the situation she was seeing?
“I shouldn't either... All year I've been trying to figure out what to do with my power and the Dragon Flame, and... now I know...”
Farah hovered around the two teens unable to stop Bloom from being the impulsive and curious teenager she always was, always looking for answers but on the wrong side. Farah saw Sky cry for the first time in years. She watched Bloom cross the portal and it close behind her. She grimaced as she watched Sky turn around and walk towards the main hall with the rest of the student body. Farah floated above Sky.
“Sky” she called him in a desperate attempt to get her ‘nephew's’ attention. She saw Sky raise her head suddenly and look around in confusion.
“Sky” called a voice she knew perfectly well: Saul Silva
“Sky where's Bloom? her friends told me she was gone and....
“He went through the portal” Sky finished saying, coming to her father's side ”Bloom went through the portal and... he left me this letter as a farewell...”
Saul Silva looked at Sky and then frowned.
“How did you know Bloom was here if you didn't read the letter?” asked Saul looking at the unopened sealed letter.
Sky shifted uneasily and Saul and I looked at him. Farah looked at Saul, although he looked fine physically, emotionally he was exhausted and still hurt from Farah's death. Sky took a while and whispered
“I saw... I thought Aunt Farah was calling me...” Sky whispered ”a few moments ago... I... I'm sorry I know it hurts.”
Saul smiled painfully
“Knowing Fay, she sure didn't leave until she was sure Alfea is safe and we would have won“ Saul said with a sad smile ‘You said earlier that you ’saw” something... what did you see while Sebastian was holding you hostage?”
Sky paced back and forth and paused, he seemed to be thinking and sorting out his thoughts. Sky paused and looked in the direction where the portal had been
“I saw...I saw Rosalid's battalion. I saw you and Farah, the burned ones, Alfea and....
“AsterDell” Saul whispered and stared at Sky ”and?”
Sky kept walking and invited Saul to do the same. Once in his private suite, Sky turned to his father and asked him.
“You had a daughter? I mean, did you and Farah have a daughter?” Sky asked his father.
Soul frowned. No. He would know if he had a daughter, and so would Farah, right? He couldn't not know, she couldn't have been pregnant and given birth and then forgotten all about it, could she? An image of Rosalind popped into Farah's mind and she laughed, with that trademark “I'm always one step ahead of you Farah” smile. Farah shook her head and fixed her attention on Sky , just to hear him say the sentence that would destroy her in seconds.
“ I saw Farah pregnant , you and her hid it from Rosalid but she found out . She pretended to be happy and the day they attacked AsterDell, Farah went into labor. That infuriated Rosalind, as her best soldier was not going to be by her side, and she only saw the baby as an obstacle to her plans...”
Saul stared at his son, and Farah's mind began to spin, thousands of memories flooded her at once , it was as if she had crashed into a concrete wall at full speed. Sky's next words destroyed her
“I saw Rosalind take your baby from you after she attacked you and knocked you unconscious... She took the memory from both of you and went in search of the baby, she was a beautiful girl. I heard her say to the baby “when you are ready look for me”. Before I woke up, I found myself in a completely different place. A baby's room, painted with fireworks on the walls and pink. I only saw one name written on the wall....
“Bloom” said the three of them at the same time
