Chapter Text
“Don’t stop,” Laura gasps, near breathless, near breaking.
And Bradley doesn't know where it comes from, doesn't know why her mind chooses the times it does to change their axis ever so slightly – all she knows is this thing between them, the space between Laura feeling alone and feeling beloved, is the only gap she ever wants to bridge.
She’s shushing, quiet, reverent, her fingers moving quicker as Laura clenches around her.
“Shh, no, babygirl, I’m not going to stop.”
And it catches her off guard, the way Laura seizes, a scream wrenched from her chest, falling in the hollow of Bradley’s collar bone. It's possessive, she knows, and it's not a side of herself that shows often, but it's been known to turn Laura on a bit. Judging by the effortless slide of her fingers working between Laura’s legs, the pet name is doing its job this time.
“I love you, you know that?” she murmurs into the crown of Laura’s hair, inhaling the sweet scent of her shampoo. Laura moans, her body shaking now as she nears the edge of all sense. Bradley knows how close she is, knows how tightly Laura loves to be held at this moment. The hand that's not fucking her senseless grips Laura’s waist tightly, hard enough to bruise.
“I’ve got you, baby. Just feel it. Let go for me.”
And Laura does – Bradley can tell. The way her body fully relaxes into Bradley’s embrace, the way her moans turn gently to delicate, high-pitched whines, the way the only word she seems to know is Bradley’s name. And then she's coming hard and Bradley’s gripping her tight, riding out the wave with her.
It's only after Laura has finally caught her breath, skin slick with sweat and electric where it meets Bradley’s, her lover’s heartbeat strong where her head rests on her chest, that Bradley pokes a little fun. Because she can't help it, and because every new thing she learns about this woman is a wonder to behold, a line of her story to bookmark.
“So, babygirl, huh?” Bradley chuckles and Laura groans into her sternum, embarrassed. Bradley's fingers brush tangles out of raven dark hair.
“I hate you.”
“You love me.”
Laura sighs, pressing a kiss to the tender skin of her neck.
“Endlessly.”
