What am I supposed to do?
It was 3:00 am at the time and Sonic was starring into his ceiling. There was a letter on his bedside table that he read about 100 times in the last 4 hours. He sat up from his bed and grabbed the letter again. This time he read the letter out loud so he was sure he didn't misread anything.
Dear Sonic
I wanted to invite you to my annual Valentinesday party. We both know that you've had a Crush on Shadow for the past 5 months and everytime we made a plan for you to confess to him, you ran away without telling him how you feel. It gets really sad seeing you run away from your feelings so I've made another plan. One not even you can run away from. I 100% know that Shadow is going to be there. It would be the perfect opertunity to confess your feelings to Shadow. If you decide to 1.) not show up, or 2.) run away again, you're going to feel the wrath of my hamer.
Remember I'm doing this for your own good. I'll see ya there.

Sonic threw the letter against the wall as the same sentence rushed through his head over and over again: Confess your feelings to Shadow. Sonic likes talking with Shadow even though Sonic does all the talking. But telling Shadow about the feelings he has for Shadow was freaking him out.
"Stupid Amy! Can't she just leave me alone about this!?" Sonic thinks out loud. Even though he doesn't really think that Amy is stupid considering she's one of his best friends.
Suddently he heared a knock on his door. "Oh no I woke up Tails" he thought. Sonic opened his door to a mad fox.
"Hey Tails" Sonic said with a soft voice. The last thing he wanted to do was worry his little brother because of something so stupid. "Why are you screaming around at 3:00 am?" the younger one asks. "It's... nothing. I was just thinking about something. Sorry if I woke you up." Sonic answers.
Tails doesn't believe it though "You called Amy stupid." he says with a blank expression. Sonic frowns for a second before replying with a reasuring tone: "I'm fine Tails don't worry. Go back to sleep."
Before going into his room Tails looks back at his older brother and says: "Ok but if you wanna talk about anything I'm here." Sonic smiles at Tails before saying Goodnight and closing the door to his room.

It was the next morning. Sonic and Tails were having breakfast. Tails still had the same worried expression on his face that he had last night. "What did you think about last night anyway. You still seem upset." the fox kid asks. "I told you I'm fine. I'm doing great actually. By the way I'll be right back I just have to talk to someone." the blue blur answered. Before Tails could respond Sonic was already gone.
Sonic decided he was going to talk to Amy. Maybe she would change her mind. He thought even though he knew that would never happen.

Sonic was on his way to Amys house when he saw Eggman attacking the village. He ran towards Eggmans robots and destroyed at least 5 robots with one spin dash. Eggman just laughed and said: "You can maybe get through my badniks but not through this!"
Without a warning Metal Sonic hit Sonic right in the chest catching him of guard. Sonic stood up quickly giving Metal Sonic a cocky smirk while saying "Is that all you got?" Metal sonic charged another attack at him. Sonic barely dogged it. The blue blur sprinted up to Metal Sonic with full speed and delivered a blow to his jaw, knocking Metal Sonic out.
Imiedietly after knocking the Metal version of himself out, Sonic noticed the big metal shard stuck in his leg. Collapsing to his feet as blood started running down his numb leg. His first instinct was to pull the metal out of his leg. After painfully doing so he paniced because even more blood was coming out of the wound now.
Sonic thought he was as good as dead when all of a sudden Shadow showed up in front of him. After defeating Eggman, Shadow looked at the hurt Hedgehog that was still sitting on the grass beneath them. The metal shard that was stained with blood was still in Sonics hand.
Shadow took one good look at Sonic. The usually happy hedgehog was now looking up at Shadow with a paniced expression. Sonic was pale. It was clear that he was on the verge of passing out. Shadow suggested: "I'm taking you to my house so I can look at your wounds because I know you wouldn't properly take care of that." "Thanks..." Sonic hissed before passing out. And with that the ebony hedgehog picked Sonic up bridal style and rushed to his own house.
