Vernon was just walking through when DK and Hoshi –two seniors who often film interviews around campus– walk up to him.
"Hey bro! Can we film with you?" Seokmin asks. "Yeah! Do you have time right now?" Soonyoung follows up.
"Uhm yeah sure" With him saying that they staged the video.
The camera was rolling and you can see SeokSoon walking towards Vernon with a little mic. (Imagine SeokSoon in university varsity jackets and Vernon in his classic white shirt and black cap)
"Hey Vernon!!!" They say in unison. "Sup guys, what's today's challenge?"
"Hey, it's your choice today! Truth or dare?" Hoshi asks Vernon, giving him the mic.
"Uhm you know what, dare! I have the time." He smirks and turns his cap backwards.
"Word has spread that you and a little someone have been getting close... So your dare is to call your crush and ask them out right now!"
Vernon's smirk slightly faltered and he turned his cap around. "Are you for real right now? On a random Tuesday?"
"Hey dude! You don't have to if you don't want to! No pressure!" Dk reassures him.
"I'll do it but you guys are buying me ice cream if he rejects me." Vernon pulls out his phone and dials the number
The phone rings 3 times before the person picks up. "Hello? Bonon-ah?"
SeokSoon's faces were in happy shock. They knew Vernon's crush was a guy but they didn't expect it to be their other half, Boo Seungkwan.
"Uhm hey Seungkwan, are you free this.. Friday? If you are, do you uhm... wanna go on a lunch date?"
"Owah! So sudden! On a random Tuesday too?" Vernon shoots a glare at SeokSoon that says 'i told you'
"But of course! I was waiting for you to ask me out. So lunch at our normal spot? The diner?""Yeah, I'll message you the details later. See you in Mr. Cha's lecture?"
"Yeah see you!" And the call ends before Vernon could say goodbye again.
"Bro.. You're going on a date with our bro! BRO! We got that on camera- wait cut! Thanks for filming Chan!" SeokSoon was ecstatic. Who knew it would actually work?
"Yeah you're welcome, now I'm gonna hurry to my next lecture, congrats Vernon!" Chan runs off and Vernon just nods, still staring at his phone.
"Bro, I can't believe I'm going on a date with Boo Seungkwan on friday." As he slips his cap, covering his face, which is furiously red.
