It's 1901, in the blister and sweltering heat of the Heartlands.
Greer June Riesmann, a woman on the run from the law, her father, with her freedom lost and floundering. Spending her days with a bounty on her head, in fear of discovery and theft of her dignity—she’s brought to the last trails of the Wild West in decline.
Until on a day like every other day, except not exactly, an outlaw happens upon a young woman, who is nothing but all she disdains. Yet, everything she may find she longs for.
It'd be easy enough to hate Arthur Morgan, let him remain a cruel, mysterious man. But she won't give in that easy.
The heart can only wither so much before it begins to blossom, bathed in a stubborn, wicked sunlight like no other.
