Chapter Text
Jisung thought his day was great. It was his birthday. He wasn’t asked to get a grocery list worth of parts and whatnot from dumpster diving (courtesy of Chan), and he got to get laid with his boyfriend Lee Minho, or just Lino, a skilled marksman of the enforcers. The day became night, and the artificial sky changed to its normal dark blue, scattered in streaks of neon lights (especially since he’s in the red lights district). And Jisung was walking tall with not a care in the world until he heard a crash in a nearby alleyway, so as a slum dweller, he decided to check. The alley was nothing special, just a little fennec fox skittering away, but Jisung knew if there was a fox in the trash, theirs's gold. Meaning he could hit a scrap jackpot, but what he peered into the alley bin and found was even more valuable. A deactivated, scrapped android.
The android had a lithe, androgynous build with blond hair curtaining their gentle, freckled face and their body was damaged, especially the abdominal area, but probably fixable enough. Jisung also noticed on the android’s clavicle its serial number: 914325
Jisung noticed the sound of a garbage truck nearby, so he went in and just waited for his free taxi to pick him and his new friend up.
While inside, Jisung found many things he could sell in the shop, like a pack of cigarettes, a pristine power bank, even a pad for a tracker with an injector, etc.
Han still wanted to make sure the android could be salvageable, so he tried to turn them on only for the android to begin sparking and twitching only for it to power back down.
“Ouch, that looked painful. Don't worry Chan and I can fix you up right as rain” Han said, soon diving back to finding more treasures.
He did that until he heard the truck stop so he came back up and protected him, the stuff he got, and the android from possible damage. None was received so he put the android on his shoulder and began the walk home.
Jisung stopped at a group of 2 trailers and 1 truck all connected haphazardly but secure, went to a trailer that was more like a food truck and knocked on the door.
“Yo, guys, I'm home and I found a friend”
“Coming Jisung” a deep, slightly Australian voice called out
