Statement Made

Summary:

“Hello, Martin,” Jon returns, a smile creeping up the corner of his lips. “What brings you in here?”

“Oh, yes, well,” he swallows, pausing for a moment, but hoping Jon doesn’t notice, “I, uh, I found this? I saw a little corner peeking out from under a filing cabinet and, uh, I got it all together.” He glances quickly to the ceiling, then back down to Jon. “I, um, skimmed it and it seems like it might be important? I just… I just think you should read this one as soon as possible.”

Notes:

This is my first foray into this fandom, and as much as I tried to resist, I simply couldn't help myself when this idea popped into my head. It is fully based off a story told to me by a coworker. So, please, enjoy this completely unserious, ridiculous fic.

Work Text:

Jon looks up from the mess of papers on his desk when he hears the light raps on his door. He can’t even open his mouth to say “come in” before the door is opened and Martin steps inside.

“Hi, Jon,” Martin greets as he walks closer to Jon’s desk.

I just… I just think you should read this one as soon as possible.” He sets the file directly onto Jon’s desk, hoping that Jon won’t notice the folder doesn’t sit flat until he’s left. He might lose his nerve if Jon questions anything before he’s out of the room.

Jon hasn’t looked down at the file yet, which has Martin relieved. “Thank you. I’ll get right to it, then.”

“I’ll leave you to it.” He flashes a smile, then turns to make his exit, shutting the door behind him.

Glancing down after Martin walks out, Jon finally notices the folder is bulging open. He pulls back the top of the folder, finding a single piece of paper with a little black button settled on top. Now he’s incredibly curious, as his statements don’t usually come with props. He decides to record the statement straight away. Martin did say it looks important.

Clearing his throat with a little cough, Jon then hits record. “Statement of: Martin Blackwood?” he reads with mild confusion. Hadn’t Martin said he found this tucked away, lost to the nooks and crannies of the Archives? He carries on, thinking maybe there’s some other Martin Blackwood out there, a long lost cousin, perhaps, to his own. “Regarding: Wanting Jonathan Sims to fuck the everloving hell out of me. What the fuck?” he says immediately after reading it. He rereads the top lines over and over, sometimes in his head, sometimes muttering the words aloud.

Jon shakes his head to steady himself. He takes a deep breath, then continues to read. “Sorry about lying to you, Jon, but I didn’t know how else I’d get you to read this right away. As you can tell by the title of this ‘statement,’ I want things to get more serious with us, while still respecting your boundaries. So, today I’m giving you control over my pleasure. I have something inside me that lets me know you’re thinking of me every time you push that button.” Jon takes a moment to examine the button that came in the folder, turning the little black device over in his hands. Things are starting to sink in. “I’ll be waiting for you, Jon.”

Jon sits there in silence for a long while. After several minutes, he realizes he’s still recording, and oh god, he has all of that on tape. He stops the recording, but still sits there, thinking of the implications of… of everything.

Martin, meanwhile, is a ball of nerves. He knows how bold that move was, and can’t help but wonder if maybe he overstepped. He keeps hoping to feel something. Anything. Just a little jolt. It has yet to come, though. And he knows it works, as he tested it the night before. For science.

Standing from his desk, he heads to the breakroom to make himself a cup of tea. By now, Jon has had time to read the note, at least a few times over. He knows Jon, his boss, has had time to question the morality of it all.

When they started seeing one another, they thought it would be best to keep things extra professional at the office. No extra glances at each other, no PDA, nothing that would scream, “look at us, we’re dating!” So for Martin to pull a move as bold as this? Well, he knows that Jon will be second guessing himself… he just thought that second guessing period would be over by now.

It’s as Martin sets the kettle back down after filling his mug that he feels it for the first time. His body tenses up and his eyes flutter shut as the first jolt of pleasure is sent through his body.

“You ok there, Martin?”

Martin looks to the door, where Tim just walked through. “What? Oh, no. I mean, yeah, I’m good.” Another quick jolt. “I’m so good,” he assures.

“You sure? It looks like you’re about to pass out.”

Martin backs up until his whole lower body is pressed against the counters. How had being seen by his coworkers never been a thought that crossed his mind? “No, no, I’m good, I promise.”

Tim squints his eyes at Martin, suspicious. “Just don’t get me sick,” he says as he leaves, not even bothering with the tea he had planned on making.

Once he’s alone again, he steadies himself against the counter top, trying to even out his breathing. It doesn’t last long, however, as another vibration courses through him. This time it’s not a quick burst. Jon is holding the button down with a purpose. Martin, now all but bent over the counter, chokes back a moan as the butt plug vibrates inside him.

“God, Tim was right, you are looking rough,” Sasha says, popping her head into the breakroom.

“I’m fine,” Martin insists. He can feel his face burning up, knows his cheeks are bright red and splotchy from the blush blooming from his chest.

“I don’t think you are. You should go see Jon about going home early,” she suggests.

Another vibration makes Martin’s knees go weak. He catches himself on the counter before actually falling to the floor. “You know, that might not be a bad idea,” he agrees. He grabs his mug, takes a single sip, then sets it right back down.

Sasha steps aside to let Martin pass before heading fully into the breakroom to make herself and Tim a cup of tea… and sanitize everything Martin just touched.

Martin doesn’t even bother knocking this time, he swings the door open and shuts it behind him. He opens his mouth to speak, to tap out, but Jon pushes the button before any words come out. He falls back against the door as he rides out another wave.

“My god, you look absolutely ravished,” Jon says quite objectively from his desk.

“I- I can’t.” He takes a few steps forward, nearly making it to Jon’s desk before the button is pressed once more. He’s far less successful holding back this moan, now that Jon’s right here, right next to him. When Jon releases the button, Martin grips him by his oversized sweater collar and hauls him up into a searing kiss.

Even though he probably should have been expecting it, the kiss still takes Jon by surprise. Once he’s found his bearings (that being pushed back against the wall with Martin’s hands gripping his hips tight), he returns the kiss with just as much passion as Martin is giving. When they finally pull back from one another, Martin leans his head forward to rest his forehead against Jon’s. Jon smiles as they lock eyes. “What brings you back to my office? Did you find another statement tucked away somewhere?”

“Nope. I came to say ‘uncle,’” Martin tells him. “I- I- goddammit, Jon, you just feel too good. I thought this would be fun, you know? But not only does it feel good whenever you push that button, my brain also tells me that it’s you.” He slides his hands into Jon’s back pockets and pulls his body forward. “Every time you push that button, it makes me know you’re thinking of me, and it makes me think of you, and that’s what makes this so much more than physical pleasure.”

“I see.” Jon releases his grip on Martin’s shirt. He opens his hand between their bodies, controller in his palm. “So this… this really does allow me to fuck the everloving hell out of you without actually doing so myself. Very creative, Martin.”

“I thought as much… however, it turns out the workplace really isn’t the best place to experiment with it. Tim and Sasha think I’ve come down with a fever. They said I should see you about going home early to sleep it off.”

Jon can’t help but chuckle at that. He presses a quick kiss to Martin’s lips. “You probably should go home, take care of yourself, if you will.” He can actually feel the heat radiating off of Martin at that quip.

“That’s probably a good idea at this point.”

“I can stop by later, if you’d like, just to make sure you’re… feeling better?”

Martin grins. “I’d love that.” he sighs. “I suppose I should get going, I’ve been in here probably longer than normal, considering how ‘sick’ I am.”

“Yes, yes, get out of here.”

“Oh, I do have one more question… did you, um, record the statement?”

“I started to record before I knew what was going on,” Jon answers. “And I kept recording once I did.” He pushes the button. He feels Martin tense up in his own hands, and he can’t help but notice just how beautiful Martin is all flushed and wanting, a sight he never thought he’d see, much less be the reason he looks that way. “Would you like the tape?”

Martin’s eyes go wide and he nods his head. “Yes, please.” The words are breathy as he tries to control himself.

Jon hands over the entire tape recorder. “Feel better,” he says before kissing Martin quickly one more time. “I’ll see you later.”

“See you later, Jon.”
