Work Text:
An icy wind blew through the clearing in the dark and tangled forest, but Jayce still felt a warm bead of sweat roll down from his temple. He had braved so many trials in the woods (angry trees, deep ravines to nowhere, and some talking birds that were definitely trying to lure him into some kind of lair) but the greatest trial was still ahead of him.
“Hello?” He called to the ramshackle house before him. For a moment, all was still. Then, the house began to shudder and shake. Jayce gulped and then his mouth dropped open as the house began to rise up from the ground. Two gnarled chicken legs emerged from below the house. Jayce could see that one of the legs was thinner and less steady, but the house still took no time at all taking three long strides directly towards him.
A flutter of panic rose up in his chest, but his mother had told him he couldn’t hesitate, couldn’t turn away from danger, or else the witch in the woods would eat him, or worse.
(“What could be worse than being eaten alive, mama?” He asked as he dabbed her flushed forehead with a cool cloth.
“You don’t want to know, my love.” She had said, then shuddered, taken with another chill.)
The house stood straight up in front of him, then lowered and tipped forward, the door swinging open as though the doorway was a mouth that would swallow him whole. Through all of it, Jayce kept his face forward and only squeezed his eyes shut at the very last second.
‘I’m so sorry, mama.’ He thought, ‘Maybe they’ll find another way.’
The doorway paused just over his head. After a moment he opened his eyes and looked up, and nearly shrieked. Peering down at him from inside the house was a hooded figure with their face completely obscured, all except for a pair of luminous golden eyes. They were terrifying.
They were beautiful?
“Who has come all the way to my humble cottage?” The voice was high pitched and just as gnarled as the woods around the clearing.
“J-Jayce Talis! Of Piltover.” Jayce said, fighting not to stutter over every word.
“And what does a boy from the golden city of P-Piltover want from my wretched little forest?” The voice asked, mocking him.
“Please! There’s a sickness spreading through the city, many people have died. My mother-“ Jayce felt himself getting choked up, “-my mother is very sick. Please, I’ll do anything.”
“Anything?” The voice cackled. “Wouldn’t you stand to gain a great inheritance if she died? Perhaps that would be better, little Piltover boy!”
“Never!” Jayce felt a lick of anger ignite in his chest, “I would trade a mountain of gold for my mother to have another day of life!”
“Hmm.” The voice hummed, and the entire house shook, sending branches and dead brown leaves to the ground. The hooded figure withdrew and for a moment Jayce was seized with fear that he had said something terribly wrong and the house would eat him after all.
Instead, the house reeled back, settled into the ground, and went still. Silence settled into the clearing once again. The door was still open.
Slowly and carefully, Jayce crept towards the door, then the hooded figure’s voice pierced the clearing,
“Well? I haven’t got all day, boy!”
Jayce’s eyes widened and he hurried inside. As soon as he crossed the threshold, the door slammed shut behind him, causing him to jump. Inside the house was total darkness.
Jayce felt himself shiver and then a candle ignited in front of him. He approached it carefully and once he got close, another candle ignited to his right. He followed a long line of candles through a house that was clearly much larger on the inside than the outside. As he walked, the candles illuminated tiny slivers of the house.
Jayce was surprised that instead of severed limbs and plants as twisted as the trees outside, he saw pieces of what must have been a very well cared for scientific library. There were machines that Jayce didn’t recognize inscribed with runes, some he knew and some he didn’t, there were microscopes and glass lenses that seemed to look into other bright and colorful worlds, there was a sleeping fuzzy lavender cat that cracked open one eye when he approached, and the eye was the color of an ever-shifting prismatic rainbow. The cat didn’t seem impressed by him, they yawned and then turned over, curling up to go back to sleep.
The candles led him to an open doorway that revealed a comfortable sitting room bracketed by bookshelves full to bursting with tomes and papers. The room was lit by a roaring fire, and in front of the fire facing away from Jayce was the hooded figure, seated in a plush but ratty red velvet armchair. He could see that the figure had a large book open in their lap.
“Am I interrupting?” Jayce said softly. He startled when the book snapped shut and the figure waved a hand that sent it flying past Jayce’s shoulder to return to its place on a bookshelf.
The figure stood, their face still shrouded in darkness. They lifted two hands to their hood, and Jayce noted with fascination that their fingers were ringed with arcane runes. Finally, they pulled the hood back.
Revealing the most beautiful man Jayce had ever seen in his life. His eyes were that same piercing gold color that he had seen under the hood, but instead of being twin pinpricks of a predator hiding in the rushes, they suited the sharp lines of his face, and they were bracketed by a kind of iridescent webbing, faintly reminiscent of the eye of his cat.
He had the ghost of a beard and hair that fell in gentle waves of mousey brown and pale gold down to his shoulders. Jayce would see more of those runic tattoos peeking from under his collar.
“Well?” The witch asked. “What are you seeking, Jayce Talis of the Golden City?” His voice was smooth and low, heavily accented from a land Jayce couldn’t place, so different from the high crackling cackle from outside. And not to mention-
“I thought you’d be an old woman.” Jayce blurted out. The witch smiled.
“Sometimes it suits me for men from the city to believe I am something I am not.” He said, “And I am old. Impossibly old. But I’m flattered you don’t think I look it.” His eyebrows rose. “And what you’ve come for? A cure for the sickness plaguing your city, hm?”
“Um. Not exactly.” Jayce reached into his coat and pulled out a rolled piece of parchment. “Could I-?”
The witch twisted one wrist and a small table emerged from the floor, settling front of Jayce. It was hard not to stare, when the witch did his magic his hands would become wreathed in bright blue sparkles, like will o wisps being summoned to do his bidding. Jayce shook his head to bring him back to the present moment.
“I have a cure, I think.” He said, unrolling and spreading out the parchment on the table. His formula was inscribed with it, all the chemical compounds listed with their properties, the very precise measurements and mixing technique Jayce needed to use. “I’m so close, I know it.” He said, clutching a hand to his chest, “But something’s missing. People take it and feel better, but it doesn’t burn the sickness completely away.”
The witch bent over to look at the inscriptions and drawings. He was silent as he read, traced his fingers over each formula and component, muttering to himself under his breath in a language Jayce didn’t recognize. After a few minutes he pulled back, one hand thoughtfully stroking his chin.
“You signed this formula.” He said. “Why?”
“Force of habit?” Jayce said, his face flushing. “I’m an engineer, I work on patents all day and there’s a bunch of paperwork that goes along with it that I have to sign, and-“ his eyes dropped from the witch’s gorgeous face to his formula. “I sign all my notes, I guess.”
“A bit egotistical, but we all have our quirks.” The witch smiled, and Jayce would have done anything to keep that expression there. “I know what you need.” He said.
“You do?” Jayce looked back up at him, feeling a lightness in his chest and a flutter in his stomach, the feeling of hope he hadn’t had for months and months while his city died around him.
“Of course. This sickness is one that has plagued the world of mortals for some time.” The witch said with a sage nod. “Now, what will you give me for it?”
“I thought about that while I walked through the forest.” Jayce said, “I’ve thought about everything and- anything. As long as I can return home and make the medicine there and ensure everyone who needs it? Anything he paused briefly, and then, “I mean it.”
“I know you do.” The witch said, in apparently wonderment. “I can see it.” He curled his fingers beneath his chin. “Well, young Talis-“
“Jayce, please.” He said softly.
“Young Jayce, you have certainly gotten my attention.” The witch said, his voice fond. “But I fear the price may be too dear even for you.”
“Anything.” Jayce promised, desperate.
“Very well.” The witch extended a tattooed hand to Jayce for a shake, “I will give you the ingredient you need to create a cure for the disease, and in return you will give me your first born child.”
“Oh.” Jayce’s eyes widened. He looked down to their clasped handles, then up to the witch’s face. Well, it couldn’t be that bad. His mother always wanted grandchildren, and this way she would live to meet them.
“Okay.” He said, and reached out to grasp the witch’s hand. He felt a searing heat flare against his palm and tried to pull back, but the witch’s grip was ironclad. Bright blue specks swirls between them and around them. The witch finally released Jayden’s hand and he watched as a series of runes flared on the back of his hand, then faded away. Jayce turned it over, staring at it.
“What were you expecting?” The witch asked, “That it would turn purple and fall off?”
“Maybe.” Jayce admitted. “So that’s it?”
“That’s it.” the mage said
“Okay.” Jayce said, and he shed his cloak, then moved to pull his shirt off by the hem
“What are you doing?” For the first time, the mage looked unsettled, taken aback. Jayce paused with his shirt halfway up his stomach.
“Um. Getting ready?” Jayce said, “Unless you want me to keep my clothes on? That would be okay, too, I guess?”
“Why would you need to take off your clothes?” The witch had a bleary expression on his face, his multicolor eyes dragged down to the exposed slash of Jayce’s stomach.
“Because I said I would give you my first born?” Jayce said, “And, um, I’m not married, I’m very single. I’ve never really talked with any partner about it, either. Having kids. So I figured if you wanted my first born any time soon, we would-?” He gestured down to his shirt.
The witch stared at him.
“Did I misread-?”
“I’m afraid we don’t have, ahem, the proper equipment for that.” The witch said.
“Oh! Yeah, we do.” Jayce said with a cheerful smile, “I mean, assuming you’re a cis man. I guess I shouldn’t- but, if you are we’re all good.”
“Hm.”
“If that’s okay with you?” Jayce asked, feeling shy. But the expression on the witch’s face was replaced with something like wonderment. He reached his hand behind him and used his magic to turn the armchair around, then he took a seat.
“It is more than okay, Jayce.” The witch said. “Strip.” He paused. “-slowly.”
Jayce let out a sheepish laugh but did as he was told. He toed himself out of his boots and socks and felt the smooth lacquered floor beneath his feet. Then he put both hands on the hem of his shirt and pulled it off and over his head. He put his hands on the waistband of his trousers and looked to the witch, who gave a reassuring nod. Jayce tucked his thumbs into his trousers and slowly pulled them down until he stood completely naked in front of the roaring fireplace.
“Oh.” The witch’s voice was soft. “You’re so wet, dear boy.”
“Yeah, I think-“ Jayce’s face flushed. “Well, your voice is doing things to me.”
“Good things, I hope?” He purred back. Jayce swallowed hard and nodded. “Come here.” He said, urging Jayce forward with one crooked finger.
Jayce shuffled towards him, feeling the heat from the fire all the way down his exposed body. The witch reached out one of his elegant hands and trailed it down Jayce’s stomach, then cupped his hand over the thatch of hair over his sex.
“Mm.” He sighed, and Jayce felt him run a fingertip along his slit. He pressed that same finger between his folds and let out a soft gasp at just how wet Jayce truly was. “Beautiful.” He hummed.
“Are you going to-?” Jayce began but trailed off.
“Yes, yes. In time.” The witch said, and patted his thigh. “Come and sit.”
He was so slim, Jayce hesitated.
“I won’t break, and I want to feel you come undone before I fuck you.”
“Yes, sir.” Jayce stepped forward and climbed into the witch’s lap, his knees bracketing the older man’s hips. “Um, your robe-“
“Can be washed.” The witch replied, amused. He pressed his fingertips against Jayce’s cock, tracing slow circles around it, gathering up some of the slick of his cunt to reduce some of the friction. “Mm. And they say I do magic.”
“That feels really nice.” Jayce sighed.
“I know. Are you ready to take my fingers, zlato?” The witch asked, pressing two fingers gently to his entrance.
“Yes, please.” Jayce paused, “-is there something I can call you- oh!” The witch slipped his index finger inside him, then turned his hand over and crooked his finger upwards.
“You call me Viktor.” He said, his voice was like honey to Jayce’s ears.
“Viktor-“ He breathed. “Can I kiss you, Viktor?”
“Oh, sweet boy, of course you can.” The witch- Viktor slid his free hand around the back of Jayce’s neck and pulled him in for a sweet kiss that quickly deepened into something molten hot and open-mouthed.
Viktor added a second finger and gradually began to build up a rhythm, fucking Jayce with his hand. He pulled his fingers nearly all the way, then twisted his hand as he slid them back in, causing Jayce to let out a whimper against his mouth.
“You must have had this done before.” Viktor murmured, touching their foreheads together. “Surely, at least with your own fingers? And they’re so much thicker than mine, you can take what I’m giving you, can’t you?”
“Uhhuh.” Jayce moaned as Viktor added a third. “Feels good. Want your cock though.”
“Soon.” Viktor promised. “I’ve helped many midwives, it’s very important for you to come, helps the seed to take.”
“Is that true?” Jayce gasped as Viktor pressed his thumb to his cock again as he thrust his fingers deep inside him. “I’m- I’m really close already, Viktor.”
“Don’t hold yourself back, come whenever you like.” Viktor said, peppering his lips and cheeks with fond kisses. He picked up his pace to emphasize what he was saying.
As soon as Viktor’s fourth finger breached Jayce’s cunt, he came messily all over his palm and threw his head back, thighs quivering with his release. Viktor didn’t slow, continuing to finger fuck him through it.
“Ah-“ Jayce whimpered, suddenly overwhelmed by the continued touch. This didn’t seem to deter Viktor, if anything he drove in harder, deeper.
“I think with one more you’ll be ready for me.” The witch hummed. “But this isn’t quite the position we need you in.”
“I think if I have to move off of you, I’ll die.”
“Don’t worry about that.” Viktor said. “Allow me.” He pressed one more long, lingering kiss, then slipped his hand away from Jayce’s neck. He watched as the witch made a complex series of hand gestures and gasped as concentric rings of bright blue light emerged from his palm, then grew in diameter to surround them. The circles began to spin all around them and Jayce felt a lurch.
His back collided with a mattress covered in soft sheets and his eyes widened when he saw Viktor looming over him, his fingers still sliding deliciously in and out of him.
“Oh-“ Jayce sighed, stretching his back luxuriously in the comfortable bed. He saw the witches eyes follow one line of his shoulder and he stretched a little further, thoroughly enjoying the attention. Jayce stretched his arms, grasping at the fabric of Viktor’s robe with his fingertips.
“Please? Want to see you-“
“I could never deny you, Jayce.” Viktor murmured. He grasped Jayce’s hand and brought it to his side. “Feel those ties there? Pull those.”
Jayce tangled his fingers in the lacings and gave them a tug. He gasped when the fabric fell away from Viktor’s torso, revealing his bare skin. It wasn’t just that the moles on the witch’s body seemed to be scattered over every inch of him, but that the colorful webbing continued down his body, framing his chest and his hips.
“Viktor- you’re so beautiful.” Jayce reached out his hand, running his palm down the older man’s bare chest.
“Thank you, Jayce.” Viktor purred, slipping his hand away from Jayce’s cunt. He took his own cock in hand and smoothed the wetness from Jayce over his head and shaft. “Are you ready?”
“Yes! Please-!” Jayce said, arcing his hips up to try and meet him. Viktor smiled and slowly but surely began to sink inside the tight head beneath him.
“Ah, good boy-“ He was so warm and wet that Viktor was able to push his cock inside without issue, so he could focus on the tight heat and the way Jayce whimpered and moaned under him. “My good boy.”
“Yes-“ Jayce slurred, “Wanna be-“
“Not just that.” Viktor said. “You were so eager when I told you the deal.” He bottomed out inside Jayce with a hiss. “Oh, zlato, you’re going to carry my children so well.”
“Children?” Jayce gasped as Viktor picked up his pace and began rocking in and out of him, his palms at either side of his head.
“Why stop at one?” Viktor said, and kissed him again.
Jayce felt his heart flutter at the thought. He would have to go home, of course, he would have to take care of his mother and the other people of Piltover, besides. But after? If this beautiful, magical man wanted him here? How could he say no?
“Yes!” Jayce cried out as Viktor drove in that much deeper. “Oh, gods- please! Want to- wanna be good- carry for you- anything you want-“
“There’s that promise again.” Viktor purred, “Anything I want. And what I want-“ He drove in deeper inside Jayce, “-is you.”
He felt Jayce squeeze in tight around him as he came for a second time, and soon Viktor was coming inside him, filling him with his seed, so much that it threatened to leak out around his cock, but he wouldn’t let it.
“Hips up, zlato, that’s a good boy.” Viktor reached for a pillow and tucked it under Jayce’s hips, helping him to angle them up.
“Don’t go-“ Jayce said, desperately squeezing his thighs against Viktor’s hips.
“I wouldn’t, sweetheart, don’t worry.” Viktor soothed him, “I’m going to give you so much more.”
“Okay.” Jayce panted, letting his head fall back, his hair damp with sweat. Viktor placed a hand on his lower stomach, just above his pubic mound and rubbed slow circles over it, pressing gently. He gave Jayce just a few minutes to rest, then he began to move his hips in slow circles until he was hard inside him again.
“Ready for something new?” He said, a dangerous, excited expression in his eyes.
“Uhhuh.” Jayce looked up at him and nodded. “Yes, sir.”
“Oh-“ Viktor breathed. “I like that.” Jayce flushed pink, pleased, and found his voice from somewhere,
“Anything, sir.” He moaned.
Viktor leaned over and put his hand underneath Jayce’s furry thighs. With strength he hadn’t been sure he possessed, he pushed Jayce’s thighs back until he was nearly doubled over on himself. Jayce felt the stretch and burn in the back of his legs, and the position just allowed Viktor to drive in that much deeper, but it was good.
“Good boy, zlato, good boy-“ Viktor praised him and let out a grunt of effort, pushing himself up onto his knees to give himself more leverage. “I knew you would be so wonderful for me when I first saw you, my perfect vessel, my beautiful little slut.”
Jayce trembled around his cock and let out a cry of pleasure as he came again, his eyes rolling back for a split second until he was back to focus on how good it felt to be fucked like this, utterly dominated, used like a thing but cared for like something precious.
He lost count of the number of times he came with Viktor’s name on his lips, or the amount of times the witch spent himself inside him. All he knew was that was the pleasure and the beauty of it all.
Viktor had him on his side, one leg up and bent, the other stretched out in front of him. He fucked him harder even than he had, as if he’d been taken over by pure instinct. Jayce was wrecked, covered in sweat, his stomach slightly bulging from just how much come he had taken.
“One more-“ Viktor panted, spearing him with long, languid strokes, “-you can give me one more, can’t you, Jayce? My good boy?”
“I don’t know-“ Jayce whined, feeling all his nerves firing at once, “I don’t- I can’t-“
“You can, baby, you can-“ Viktor insisted. He slipped a hand down and found Jayce’s clit, and gave it a hard pinch between his fingers. Jayce’s vision went white as another orgasm rocket his body, and soon he felt Viktor come inside him, chasing his pleasure and making sure his breeding was full and complete.
Viktor turned his head to kiss Jayce’s ankle, then gently let it stretch out onto the bed. He withdrew slowly, but got a little frown on his face when his seed immediately began to ooze out of Jayce’s throughly wrecked cunt. He swept two fingers through the mess and pushed his come back inside, causing Jayce to shiver and whine, squirming to try to get away from more pressure inside, but Viktor didn’t let him.
“Shh, Jayce, it’s alright.” He murmured, pushing more back inside. “I just need to make sure you don’t waste any.”
“It doesn’t hurt, it’s just-“ Jayce’s head lolled to one side. “-so much, so good.”
“I know.” Viktor gently rubbed circles over Jayce’s stomach to soothe him. “Wait just a moment.” He slid off of the bed to retrieve something from a drawer, then returned to Jayce holding a slim smooth toy with a flared base. He used the top of it to catch any seed that had leaked while he was gone, then pushed it gently inside Jayce.
“There.” He said, sitting up and sounding proud of himself and of Jayce. “We’ll stay like this for a little while, hm? Hips up, just catching your breath and resting.” He kissed Jayce’s knee and slipped out of bed again, this time returning with a soft damp cloth that he first used to dab the sweat from Jayce’s brow, then to clean the rest of his body. When he was done, he crawled up the length of Jayce’s body and curled up beside him, stroking his hair.
“I would have you take a bath with me.” He murmured, “But then I would have to fuck you again, and even I have my limits.”
“It doesn’t seem like it.” Jayce said, letting out a soft laugh. “Viktor, that was-“ he sighed, “-magical.”
Viktor let out a soft snort. “Rest, zlato. I’ll help you return home in the morning.”
The next morning, Viktor helped Jayce bathe and, sure enough, ended up fucking him over the wash basin, and the kitchen table, and the doorway that led outside. After, he gave Jayce something to eat that renewed his energy and left him feeling capable of making the journey back home.
“Ah, I nearly forgot in all of the commotion.” Viktor said. He produced a slim glass vial from his robe, stoppered with a navy blue and silver wax seal. He handed it to Jayce. “Add the entire bottle to your formula, and the cure will work.”
“What is it?” Jayce asked, holding it up to the outside light. Tiny specks of bright blue swirled around inside, very much like Viktor’s magic.
“They’re some of my own wisps, ones I’ve called from the plane of the Arcane.” The witch explained. “Don’t lose it or drop it, or you’ll have to bargain for another.”
Jayce didn’t think that sounded too bad, actually.
A week later, Jayce was in his lab and finally ready to add the last, most precious ingredient to his cure. He was wearing thick gloves as the mixture had to be very, very hot.
He took Viktor’s vial from its treasured place on his components shelf, and used a pair of pliers to pull the excess wax from around the neck. He inhaled a breath and in one smooth motion, exhaled, tugged off the seal, and turned the vial over to dump it into the mixture.
Instead of flowing out of the vial like Jayce had anticipated, the little blue particles floated out and began to spread around the room, untethered by gravity.
“No!” Jayce exclaimed, watching with his mouth agape. He tried to chase after the little specks, but no matter what, he couldn’t get his hands around any of them. He watched them float around the lab with a despondent look on his face. Had he forgotten something Viktor told him? Why had it failed? What would happen to his mother or to the city he loved?
He was in the clutches of despair when he noticed the particles beginning to draw back together. He watched them coalesce at a single point- not inside the bowl, but beside the table. The specks took the loose form of a figure, then began to shine brighter and brighter until all Jayce could see was white and blue light flooding his vision.
He gasped when the lights wiped away and standing there, dressed in common clothes of the city, was Viktor. The mage looked twenty years younger, his hair was shorter, but he was unmistakable, as was his smile.
“Viktor?” Jayce gasped.
“Jayce.” He said, his eyes warm.
“What are you doing here?” He asked.
“When I realized you would be carrying my child, I decided I did not want to leave you to it on your own. This guise of mine should allow me to pass through the city unchallenged, don’t you think?” He ran his palms down his chest.
“And besides,” He took a step towards Jayce, “I’m very fond of you.” He raised a hand and pressed it to his cheek, and Jayce leaned into it with a hum.
“I’m so happy to see you.” But a worried expression crossed his face, “But what about the cure?”
“Ah, Jayce.” Viktor leaned in, kissing him gently on the lips, “You’re speaking to one of the greatest alchemical minds of this age. I’ll have it sorted for you in time for dinner.”
“So you were the secret ingredient all along?” Jayce asked, delighted.
“I was.” Viktor said, and kissed him again, this time refusing to let go of his dear boy.
