Work Text:
Sam Wilson strode through the polished marble halls of the Capitol building, his boots echoing lightly against the floor. The suit he wore was crisp, tailored, and perfectly unassuming—a far cry from the red, white, and blue armor he’d grown so accustomed to. But today, he wasn’t here as Captain America.
The door to Senator Bucky Barnes’ office loomed ahead, its brass handle gleaming under the dimmed hallway lights. Sam’s heart thrummed in his chest, a mix of anticipation and the faintest edge of risk. Their relationship was a closely guarded secret—a necessity given Bucky’s political career and Sam’s very public role. But the secrecy only made moments like this more electric.
He knocked—three sharp raps.
“Come in.”
Bucky’s voice laced through the door, smooth and commanding. Sam pushed it open, stepping inside and closing and locking it softly behind him. The room was warm, bathed in the golden glow of a desk lamp. Bucky sat behind his desk, his tie loosened, sleeves rolled up to his elbows. The sight of him like this—disheveled in that just-right way—sent a bolt of heat straight to Sam’s core.
“Senator Barnes,” Sam greeted, his voice low, teasing.
Bucky’s head snapped up, his steel-blue eyes locking onto Sam’s. For a moment, he just stared, as if processing the reality of Sam standing there. Then, a slow, dangerous smile spread across his face. “Captain Wilson. To what do I owe the pleasure?”
“Oh, you know,” Sam said, stepping closer, hands in his pockets. “Just thought I’d check in. Make sure our nation’s finest isn’t overworking himself.”
Bucky leaned back in his chair, his gaze raking over Sam with an intensity that made the air between them crackle. “Work’s been… demanding. But I’m managing.”
“Managing, huh?” Sam reached the desk, resting his palms on the edge and leaning in. “You look stressed. Maybe you need a break.”
Bucky’s smile turned sly. “And here I thought you were just passing through.”
“Couldn’t resist.” Sam’s voice dropped, his eyes darkening. “Been too long, Buck.”
The words hung in the air, heavy with meaning. Bucky’s gaze softened for a moment, a flicker of vulnerability breaking through his polished exterior. “Yeah,” he murmured. “Too damn long.”
Sam didn’t wait. He rounded the desk, his movements deliberate, and cupped Bucky’s face in his hands. Their lips met in a kiss that was both tender and desperate, a collision of longing and restraint. Bucky groaned into it, his hands coming up to grip Sam’s waist, pulling him closer.
When they finally broke apart, Bucky’s breath was ragged, his eyes blazing. “Sam…”
“Missed you,” Sam whispered, his lips brushing against Bucky’s as he spoke. “Missed this.”
Bucky’s hands slipped down to Sam’s hips, fingers digging in possessively. Guiding him to climb the chair he was sitting on. “Fuck I missed you too, Sam.”
“We’ve got some time,” Sam shot back, his voice a low growl. “Are you in for a quickie?”
Bucky’s answer was to stand abruptly, his chair scraping against the floor. He held Sam by the hips, yanking him into another searing kiss. Sam stumbled back, his hips hitting the edge of the desk.
“You’re a damn menace,” Bucky muttered against his lips, his hands already working to undo the buttons of Sam’s shirt.
“You love it,” Sam shot back, his fingers fumbling with Bucky’s tie.
“Yeah,” Bucky admitted, his voice rough. “I do. I love you so much.”
Bucky’s vibranium fingers slowly unclasped Sam’s shirt, revealing the taut muscles of his chest, while Sam loosened Bucky’s tie, and then had his shirt halfway unbuttoned.
Bucky pushed Sam back onto the desk, papers scattering as Sam’s back hit the smooth surface. He climbed on top of him, his hands roaming, his mouth following suit. Sam arched into the touch, a low moan escaping his lips.
“God, Buck,” he muttered, his fingers tangling in Bucky’s hair. “You’re gonna be the death of me.”
“Not today,” Bucky murmured, his lips trailing down Sam’s neck. “Not when I’ve just got you back.”
Sam’s breath hitched as Bucky’s hands slid lower, his touch igniting every nerve in Sam’s body. He reached down, fumbling with the buckle of Bucky’s belt, his urgency matching Bucky’s own.
“Sam,” Bucky breathed, his voice a heated whisper. “Tell me what you want.”
Sam’s eyes locked onto his, dark and hungry. “You. Want you to fuck me.”
Bucky’s lips crashed into his again, and the world outside the office ceased to exist. It was just them—their hands, their mouths, their bodies moving together in a rhythm that was as familiar as it was exhilarating.
“Buck,” Sam gasped, his voice trembling with need.
Bucky’s hands found their way to Sam’s ass, gripping him tightly as he pulled him closer until their bodies were flush against each other. Sam groaned, his hands gripping the edge of the desk as Bucky’s hips rolled against his.
“Fuck, Sam,” Bucky breathed, his lips trailing down Sam’s neck, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. “I need you.”
Sam’s breath hitched, and he nodded, his fingers tangling in Bucky’s hair. “I’m yours,” he murmured, his voice rough with desire.
Bucky’s hands found their way between their erections, wrapping around them both, his touch sending a jolt of pleasure through Sam. He groaned, his hips bucking into Bucky’s hand, his breath coming in short, sharp gasps.
But it wasn’t enough. Sam needed more. He reached down, stopping Bucky’s hand, his eyes locking with his. “Get inside me, I got ready before coming here,” he demanded, his voice low and husky.
Bucky’s eyes darkened, and he nodded, reaching for the drawer in his desk. He fumbled with it for a moment before pulling out a small bottle of lube and a condom. He handed them to Sam, his hands trembling slightly.
Sam took them, his own hands surprisingly steady as he tore open the condom and rolled it onto Bucky. He slicked him up with the lube, his touch firm but gentle, drawing a low moan from Bucky.
Sam stepped back, turning his back to Bucky as he leaned over the desk, his hands bracing against the polished surface. He looked over his shoulder, catching Bucky’s eye. He stepped up behind Sam, his hands gripping his hips as he positioned himself. He pressed forward slowly, the head of his cock pushing against Sam’s entrance.
Sam’s breath hitched, and he pushed back against Bucky, urging him on. Bucky obliged, pressing forward until he was fully sheathed inside Sam. They both moaned, the sensation overwhelming.
Bucky stayed still for a moment, giving Sam time to adjust, but Sam wasn’t patient. “Move,” he demanded, his voice rough with need.
Bucky obliged, pulling back slowly before thrusting forward again. Sam’s breath caught, and he pushed back against Bucky, urging him to go faster, harder.
Bucky’s hands tightened on Sam’s hips, and he started to move, his thrusts steady and deep. Sam’s moans filled the room, echoing off the walls as Bucky’s pace quickened.
The desk creaked under their weight, the sound only adding to the intensity of the moment. Bucky’s hands roamed Sam’s body, tracing the lines of his back, down to the curve of his ass, gripping him tightly as he drove into him harder.
Sam’s breath came in short, sharp gasps, his hands gripping the edge of the desk as Bucky’s thrusts sent waves of pleasure through him. He could feel the heat building in his gut, the pressure growing with every thrust.
“Bucky,” he groaned, his voice rough with need. “Fuck, I’m close.”
Bucky’s pace quickened, his thrusts becoming more erratic as he chased his own release. “Come for me, Sam,” he demanded, his voice low and husky.
Sam didn’t need to be told twice. With a low groan, he came, his body trembling as waves of pleasure washed over him. Bucky followed soon after, his thrusts faltering as he spilled into the condom, his body shuddering with the force of his release.
They stayed like that for a moment, their bodies pressed together as they caught their breath. Finally, Bucky pulled out, stepping back as Sam straightened, turning to face him.
Bucky’s eyes were dark, filled with a mixture of satisfaction and something else, something deeper. Sam reached out, cupping his cheek, his thumb brushing against Bucky’s lips.
“I love you,” Sam murmured, his voice soft but full of conviction.
Bucky’s breath hitched, and he leaned into Sam’s touch. “I love you too,” he admitted, his voice just as soft.
They stayed like that for a moment, basking in the afterglow, but the world outside the door was waiting, and their time was limited. Still, for now, they had each other, and that was enough.
Sam leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Bucky’s lips. “We should probably clean up before someone comes looking for you,” he murmured, a small smile tugging at his lips.
Bucky chuckled, nodding. “Yeah, probably,” he agreed, though he didn’t move just yet. Instead, he pulled Sam closer, pressing another kiss to his lips.
Sam smiled, his hand resting on Bucky’s chest.
But the moment was fleeting. The sound of footsteps in the hallway outside the office doors brought them back to reality, and they both tensed, pulling apart.
“We’ll pick this up later,” Bucky murmured, his voice low and husky, a promise in his words.
Sam nodded, his eyes locking with Bucky’s. “Count on it,” he replied, his voice just as low, just as full of promise.
And as they quickly cleaned up and got dressed, the tension between them was still there, a live wire waiting to be sparked again. But for now, they had to return to the world, to their duties, to their secrets.
