Chapter Text

It was a miracle you still had the capacity to walk (albeit with a severe limp).

Your left wing had a massive cannon-shaped hole in the middle of it. Your right wing dangling from your frame. A few cables was all that stood between keeping it from completely detaching and being left behind in the dust of the earth.

They had been thorough in incapacitating you, ensuring you didn't have the ability or even the thought of pulling anything as they began the trek back to their base.

You were a seeker, an Autobot seeker.

You had a trine once. However, war is quite known for creating divides and destroying deep-rooted relationships. They walked the path of the Decepticons and your pedes could not follow.

Is there regret for joining the Autobots? No. Is there regret of never knowing the fate of your beloved trinemates? You dared not think.

The morning began with a solo patrol around the general radius of the Autobot base. Making sure the area is secure before your comrades departed for the continued search of possible energon rich locations. So far the searches were fruitless. Despite the many grueling groons of diligence and organization to maximize efficiency to find something.

You spotted a small group of Decepticons and they spotted you. If it was only a group of grounders, evasion would've been simple, but they had a seeker accompanying them. Combat ensues and being alone meant your odds were lower than the pit. Damn it. What could've possibly given you such a sense of security to be so reckless. You grit your denta and begin your offense. They wouldn't expect it, you're banking on it. Who would be so foolish to focus on firing back instead of escape?

You had the skill, but not the numbers. You had been overcome and failed.

After hitting the ground and transforming out of your alt-mode, you had fully expected to be executed on the spot. You got onto your knees and held your helm high. Your spark will return to the Allspark with dignity. Your executioner raised their cannon and pushed it to the side of your helm. The hum of it charging being the last sound you'll ever hear.

The shot never came.

The cannon was lowered. Through your one optic that was still functional after the short battle, you looked up to your executioner. Your one optic might as well be offlined too, because you could not believe what you were seeing.

Starscream.

Of course he was the seeker with them and is largely to thank for bringing you to the ground.

" Autobot red does not suit you, I'm afraid. "

A claw caressed the symbol on your wing. The gesture did not feel warm or kind.

" Master will be greatly pleased when he sees the curiosity I'm bringing him. Cuff them now. "

Starscream barked the order at his subordinates. Almost instantaneously, the cold feeling of stasis cuffs were on your wrists. You weakly fought when they brought you up from your knees. The two Decepticon grunts remained holding each of your arms.

A fascination started to swell in his chassis about you. A fascination to break you? To overpower you? To make you his? He was undecided.

The next time you open your optic, you're in a ship. Safely assumed to be the Nemesis. You must've slipped into a recharge from the severe energon loss. Now you don't have a single clue on the route taken to get to the Decepticon base. Idiot!

Suddenly, your knees are forced to the ground. The arms dragging you have left. Your optic is face to face with the base of a throne. Every fiber in your frame wants to shake, but you refuse.  Slowly you look up the colossal being sitting on the throne.

Megatron.

You meet his optics and stare back into them.

" Ah...This is quite the unexpected visit on both our ends. "

Megatron's chuckle only deepens the snarl on your face. You spit the energon gathering in your mouth right onto his pede. He grabs your chin and squeezes. Annoyance now filled his faceplate.

" Careful now. I don't take kindly to guests overstepping their bounds. "

He let's go and you move your jaw side to side to relieve the ache he caused.

" End me. I will reveal nothing to you. I will renounce nothing. "

Finally you speak, ignoring the tremble in your voice.

" End you? Now? Don't be so foolish. You must know how far and in between your kind is now. Perhaps all you need is some persuasion. "

He makes a motion towards Starscream which prompts him to walk towards you. He grabs your arm and begins dragging you out. You start thrashing against him before he digs a claw into your left wing. You shriek in pain.

" I would quit that if I were you. You might've forgotten that I know exactly where it hurts. "

The next thing you feel is your faceplate colliding against the cold cell floor which is much better than what you were anticipating, Shockwaves lab.

Starscream couldn't deny the heat stirring within him at the sight of you. You were very pleasing to the optics. His trinemates had been dead for so long and hence his needs left untouched. Perhaps you would understand and have some empathy towards him as a fellow seeker even if you are a traitor.

You crawled to the corner of the cell and collapsed on your side as self-repairing protocols had begun to run their course. You wanted to be as far from the Decepticon SIC as you physically could.

He tilts his helm and rests a servo on his hip, before speaking again.

" Now that I think about it... I recognize your designation. I remember your trine quite well now. The one whose third trinemate turned their back not only on the just Decepticon cause, but their fellow trinemates. Yes..yes that's you. They were offlined long before we ventured to Earth."

Your spark felt like it dropped right out of you.

" You lie. I don't believe a single word that comes out of your mouth. "

He puts his pede on your chassis and presses hard all while mocking you. In the back of your processor you knew he wasn't lying. You would've seen a sign of your trine at least once while being on the Earth.

" Believe what you want, Autobot. "

His pede retreated from your chassis with one last kick to your side. You groaned from the sudden assault and addition to your pain.

" I shall return later. It can grow to be quite solitary in here. I do hope you look forward to my next visit. "

He departed from the cell, leaving you in the dark still leaking from your wounds.
