One of Death P.A.C.T. Again's biggest things is that they will reflect on challenges, usually somewhere between a few hours to the next day. That started back in the original Death P.A.C.T., for crying out loud. Although Pillow left Death P.A.C.T. starting in TPOT, and no one else really cared, especially now that they've seen Pillow kill, Remote... does care. She knows she shouldn't care. She knows she should hate Pillow. She knows Pillow shouldn't matter, as long as they stop her from killing.
But something is making Remote care.
Remote doesn't even know what is making her care. Replaying every moment with Pillow from the day, Pillow said she wasn't even Remote's friend! So... why did Remote feel weird when Pillow complimented her? Why did Remote care about Pillow?! It doesn't make sense!
What about when Pillow "died" thanks to Four? Why did Remote flutter her arms then? ...Did it... represent something? Or, maybe Pillow was wrong about her research!
...Why does it hurt to think Pillow could be wrong? No one else would even care if Pillow was wrong. So why does it hurt Remote to think Pillow could be wrong?
Oh well, Death P.A.C.T. Again was going to meet up on the roof. Remote might as well go. Maybe they'll have an answer to the questions rummaging through her head. The things she felt, she will organize them and present them to her team.
Remote's thoughts on Pillow:
-We shouldn't of left her to take all the forks herself. At the very least I should of stayed.
-It felt so good to work with her during the Liar Ball challenge.
-It hurts to think of Pillow as wrong.
-I can't not care about her.
-Something about her complimenting me about my multitasking makes me feel... weird. Happy, but... not in the usual way.
As Remote was leaving her room to go to the meeting, she happened to run into Pillow. Just... being around her made Remote feel something she couldn't explain. Happy, and... nervous?
"Hi Remote!" Pillow smiled, "Say, where are you going?"
"Oh, I was going to the Death P.A.C.T. Again meeting," Remote couldn't seem to meet Pillow's gaze.
Pillow nodded, "Alright! Have fun!"
Remote added into her Pillow notes that she felt nervous in their latest interaction, yet also so happy to just have a normal interaction outside of competition. God, what was going on?
"I just don't understand," Remote finished. She just explained everything she felt about Pillow to her entire team.
Everyone stared back in awkward silence, before Tree spoke up, "It sounds like you have a crush on Pillow."
"Yeah," Lightning added on, "You probably do. It lines up."
...That just left Remote with more questions than answers. She's a mechanical mind, with a mechanical body. Can a mechanical heart flutter? If so, would that truly be love? Does she love Pillow? Is this romantic? What does this mean for her and Pillow going forward? Should she try to confront it? How could Remote even handle this when this was the first time she's even felt something like this?
