Little Percy, Big Changes

Summary:

Deepest Truth

A potion invented to reveal how a person sees themselves or reveal the truth about them. Be it good, evil, or anything in between.

So what happens when this potion is used on the Son of Poseidon just before the climax of the war for Olympus?

Notes:

Okay sooooooooooo this is a gift, but it's also self-indulgent. I legit would've made this much MUCH shorter if I didn't get an idea and ran with it and made this over 11k long ^^U

to note, the constant references to Percy's size being half a pen, it's because I need a visual to know how big something is so I took a pen and measured it to get a good size for Percy's height ^^U

also minor Kronos/Percy... kinda it's more like hinted than actual full ship

this is mainly fluff and cuteness and hurt/comfort

Also I am insulted that Good Kronos is a tag, but Evil Rhea isn't? like how? so rude.

(See the end of the work for other works inspired by this one.)

Work Text:

Tiny Percy

If you had told Percy that when he went to fight against his insane cannibal grandfather to stop his cruise ship of monsters to stall his attack on Manhattan in two months that he and his good friend Beckendorf would nearly die as they escaped and blew up the ship. That also while escaping they lost consciousness and were rescued by local sea life along with Prince Triton, and when unconscious and being healed he suddenly shrunk down down to half the size of a pen! He’d call you insane!

But… that’s exactly what happened.

-Tiny Percy-

Prince Triton groaned as he took his bastard half-brother and the son of Hephaestus back to Atlantis. He gave the African American boy the ability to breathe underwater so he wouldn’t drown. Not too dissimilar to a child of the sea, though he has to be slow going back up to the surface so he doesn’t suffer due to the water pressure. At least until father can give a blessing, the magic for that is more complicated and something an older god would know how to do.

“Always causing trouble you brat.” Triton muttered as he took the pair to Atlantis and a guest bedroom to heal up. Their infirmary was full and best kept the humans from waking up and attacking on sight. Father did say they’re fighting sporadically on the surface so best be careful.

Perseus was placed on a bed and would be left to the healers, just because the ocean can heal him, doesn’t mean it’s a proper job. The other boy was placed on the separate bed, he’ll be tended to first as the ocean didn’t heal this one.

The heir to Atlantis went to get a pair of medics who knew enough about humans to help out. No time to check minor things like loyalty to the throne when they’re at war against Oceanus. If they weren’t loyal they’d be assisting the Titan of the Seas.

Once the medics were in and worked on the pair, Triton had to leave to attend a war meeting with Father and their allies. He didn’t notice one of the medics pulling out a strange vial and forcing an unconscious Percy to drink it. In his haste due to the war, he’d end up costing them dearly.

… Or will he?

-Tiny Percy-

A few hours later after the medics left and made sure the humans wouldn’t die on them, and the traitor made sure the bastard prince wouldn’t be a problem, the pair left to tend to the important injuries. The young cyclops Tyson would come in to check on the pair and saw his brother missing and Beckendorf was waking up.

“Beckendorf? Where’s big brother?” Tyson was scared. Brother Triton told him that Percy was resting here with Beck.

“I… ugh I dunno Ty. I just woke up.” Beckendorf informed as he cautiously sat up. He was bandaged heavily but the bruising had gone down thanks to the healers so he wasn’t a big lump of flesh anymore. “He… he got me off… they knew we were coming- I-.”

“Easy… we get to daddy, tell him what happened and that brother is missing.” Tyson told the son of Hephaestus.

Percy started to wake up. His body felt… wrong and why… Why is everything so big? He looked around the room and looked down at himself! He was tiny! He’s half the size of Riptide in pen form! The bed he was on was so big he’d get lost if he went under the covers! He looked around and saw Tyson entering and the big guy didn’t see him! He tried calling out but he couldn’t hear him.

Hearing Beck was alive was a relief all things considered. Even if the teen was missing a hand now. Better than being dead. The pair were gonna leave the room so acting quickly Percy latched onto Tyson’s shirt. Thanks to the water and overall weightlessness of the ‘air’ the young cyclops didn’t even notice Percy doing this. He clings tightly to the shirt as Tyson helps Beck get to the war room where the meeting is happening.

“Whoa… this… I mean I know you’re in a war but Atlantis is beautiful.” Beckendorf whispered in awe as Tyson helped him swim to the area he’s needed in. Losing his hand made it harder to swim, it’ll be hard to work on crafting things too but a good prosthetic and he’ll be back in working order.

“Thank you, but have to get to daddy, he needs to know brother is missing.” Tyson told his friend as he helped him. They saw a giant monster being blasted away by Poseidon.

Beckendorf was speechless at that. It’s one thing to hear stories of the gods’ powers, but to witness it in person. That’s another thing entirely. Yet given the lines of graves… this war has been going on long and it’s weighing down on Atlantis. As they arrived, Beckendorf wasn’t sure who to look out for.

Sure everyone says Percy looks a lot like his dad, to the point Mr D joked that ‘Peter’ was a clone of his father. But even underwater the only person here who looked a lot like Percy was a two tailed green merman. Only other humanoids were a woman, likely a Nereid, and an old man using a- oh gods.

Poseidon looked like he aged decades as he went over battle plans with his advisors. The war with Oceanus was taking a toll and according to Percy had been going on for over a year. He’d tried to explain it before but the others just ignored him or Annabeth talked over it. She’d always said ‘sea wars aren’t our problem seaweed brain’.

Looks like she was wrong if this is the state they put the god of tides in.

“Lord Poseidon.” Beckendorf gently called out and bowed in respect once the lord of the seas looked at him.

“Young one… where is Percy?” Poseidon demanded, wanting to know if his son was alright.

“Daddy, he's missing. He wasn’t in the room with Beckendorf when I checked on them.” Tyson informed his father quickly. He didn’t notice Percy was moving from Tyson’s shirt and swam over to and landed on the war room table.

“He couldn’t have gone far, he was unconscious and alive when I left him.” Triton assured.

Percy landed and was nervous since no one can apparently see him. Sure he’s a lot smaller now but still!

Poseidon frowned and after transforming a monster. He used his connection he keeps open to all his children to find where Percy was located. He frowned and looked confused.

“This can’t be right… he’s in the room with us.” Poseidon muttered.

Delphin was confused and noticed it. “My lord he’s on the war table.”

“Finally someone sees me.” Percy sighed in relief and yelped as he was unceremoniously picked up by his father’s hand. Well more accurately he was scooped up as his dad didn’t unceremoniously pinch him between two fingers.

“How did this happen?” The woman aka Lady Amphitrite demanded, she was wearing her battle armor and her crab claw crown.

“No idea, when I woke up I realized I was small. Before I passed out I was normal sized.” Percy commented as he was inspected silently by his father for any wounds.

“Not just that when I left a few hours ago you were normal sized. Meaning it likely had to be the medics I left with you two.” Prince Triton sighed in annoyance. If he had been more cautious they wouldn’t have a 2 ½ inch tall demigod to deal with.

“But if it was the medics why is only Percy small?” Beckendorf asked.

“Because he’s a son of Poseidon.” Triton explained. “Whether it was an ally of the Titans or someone against the throne at the moment it doesn’t matter. Perseus is incapable of fighting at this size for one.”

“And unless we can find a way to reverse this … well for lack of a better word, spell he might be stuck like this forever.” General Delphin added on.

Percy tried his best not to complain about that or cause a scene. His face betrayed his horror but otherwise he was silent.

“For now Percy you’ll remain with me.” Poseidon decided and quite literally just put Percy in his shirt pocket.

“We’ll investigate the healers who did this, and figure out what they did or used to cause… that.” Triton gestured to his miniature brother. Don’t get him wrong, this is hilarious! However he can’t laugh, not just because his father would be disappointed in him. But also because they’re in the middle of a war against the Titans. This is hardly the time for such a foolish endeavor.

“Lord Poseidon, if it will please you sir, I’d like to stay and be of help until Percy is returned to normal.” Beckendorf offered.

Poseidon frowned. “If you stay, you’ll be helping in the forges only. I won’t have you risking your life in a war you have no part in.”

Beckendorf nodded and bowed. “Yes Lord Poseidon.”

“I can take him to the forges.” Tyson offered. He wants to fight and help too, but if he can help Beckendorf in the forge and get a new hand it’ll help out too.

Percy wanted to go with them, mostly because he felt awkward as hell sitting in his dad’s shirt pocket. But he won’t get his wish as his father dismissed Tyson and Beckendorf along with Delphin, Triton was sent to find those medics to find out WHAT was used on Percy. Amphitrite remained with her husband, the pair discussing what to do about Percy’s condition and how to best approach this once they know more. Feeling emotionally exhausted and not wanting to stay up, Percy elected to take a nap. Besides he’s literally in his dad’s pocket, there’s nowhere safer for him.

-Tiny Percy-

So thanks to Percy’s rotten luck. The medic who slipped him the potion was killed in an enemy strike on a healer’s tent. The other medic with them didn’t know what was in the potion, BUT had a sample leftover from the trashed medical bag so they had a chance to find out what it was. That was some good news there. In other positive news, Beckendorf got a new hand thanks to the Cyclopes, and he was learning a lot under them. They said it reminded them of teaching his father Hephaestus when he was a young god.

Back to the bad news however, it’s going to take at least a week to know what the potion was. This was two days ago when they learned this. So for now aside from riding around in his dad’s shirt pocket, Percy has also been spending some time with Triton and Amphitrite. Since his father can't hold onto him all the time, much to the sea god's chagrin.

Currently Percy was with Triton as the heir to the Atlantean Throne was going over important messages that needed to go out.

“Why do we have to do this again?” Percy asked as he was forced to practice reading Atlantean while with his immortal brother.

“Because my job doesn't stop just because we're at war, and you need to learn your heritage,” Triton snarked back.

“I meant my studying, what’s the point? Supposedly I'm gonna die or something when I turn 16.” Percy muttered, his nonchalance at that causing Triton to break his pen and ruined his current report.

“Do you have to be like that?”

“Like what? Realistic about my situation, if I die, I die.”

“You really don't care about living or not?”

“Triton ever since I came into the Greek Pantheon I was told I shouldn't exist, that it was a crime to be alive.” Percy stated with ease. “My fellow demigods would rather I die than them so they want me handling all the hard work. I found out at 13 that on the off chance I MAKE IT to 16 I might die anyways. Demigods don't live long lives Triton… and if they do it's outta some weird mercy from the Fates.”

Triton sighed. “That part you're not wrong on. Of my mortal siblings who actually got to have kids, they were few and far between. Chaos barely any of our uncles’ children survive to adulthood.”

The merman frowned then. “Perse-ah Percy, who told you that you shouldn't exist?”

“Chiron, Annabeth, majority of the camp after my claiming and the hellhound attack when I was 12. Grover's never said it, he doesn't think it either. He's my best friend. I… I can say I know a few campers who do consider me a friend, but others….”

Triton frowned. “And you… feel this way often?”

“W-well y-yeah… sometimes it seems like no one trusts me at all even though I am a competent fighter and can strategize on the fly.” He rubbed his arm, Lady Amphitrite has been weaving clothes for him so he's not stuck in the same outfit the entire time he's small. How she does that on top of also helping with the war effort is something the demigod cannot comprehend. Currently he was wearing a beautiful sea blue chiton with a dark blue himation lined with a white and lighter blue wave pattern.

“And you've been there for almost four years, going mainly in the summer?” He asks to confirm what is more or less common knowledge. “You who have been on… technically three quests, as the fourth you never officially were a part of.”

Percy nodded as he looked worried.

“And… your comrades… whom you are going to go into war with. Are… questioning how … competent you are? After having known you for years and fought beside you on quests.”

“Well… I mean y-yeah, I know Beckendorf trusts me, we got closer during my second summer when Thalia’s tree was poisoned and did border patrol together. He was also one of the only kids at camp who wasn't horrible to Tyson because he's a Cyclops. Silena too, ah she's Beckendorf's girlfriend.” Percy explained.

Triton was going to ask about what happened when there was a knock at his chamber doors. Calming himself down, the crowned prince allowed the person to enter.

“Lord Triton,” the son of Hepheastus, bowed to the god. “I finished the armor for Percy. I ah… also overheard some of the… conversation.” He looked ashamed.

Percy looked like he wanted to say something, only for Triton to speak up first. “If you've finished his armor let's see it.”

He nodded and brought out beautiful armor tailored for Percy's current 2 ½ inch height. “Tyson helped me enchant it so it'll grow with you Perce even when you get back to normal size.” He was proud of his work, even with adapting to his new prosthetic, a mechanical work of art from the elder Cyclopes as it was magic and machine so it would respond to his mental commands like a real arm/hand. He was able to adapt to the machine and work on Percy’s armor.

Percy beamed. “Thank you Beckendorf.” He was genuinely touched by the gesture. The armor was beautiful as well, tailored to Percy's style and protects him. It incorporated both Percy's Greek and Atlantean heritage. Triton could see it with the designs.

“Hmm… how good are you at making a trident?” The sea messenger asked.

“I haven't made one before sir, but the Cyclopes have been excellent teachers. I'm honored to learn from them.”

“I see, attempt to make one, I’d rather my brother not be without a proper weapon for a child of the sea.” Triton explained.

“Yes, Lord Triton,” Beckendorf bowed in respect. Before he could leave, he paused, turning to Percy. Who has been standing/sitting on Triton's desk the entire time. “And Percy, don't feel bad about how you've been treated. It isn't right, not how we treated you during the first summer, let alone the other seasons. And about Annabeth… don't trust her.”

Percy frowned, “Why?”

“You don't really know what she's actually like. She… she isn't a friend to anyone Percy.” Beckendorf warned. “I dunno when she let her pride take over, but don't get with her.”

“Beck… I'm not into women.” Percy said.

“... Then why do you blush around her, or even synchronized fighting with her?”

“Just because they make good fighting partners doesn't mean they're going to be romantic.” Triton explained. “Relationships forged in war won’t last long term. Not unless they can be comfortable when at peace as well.”

Percy looked down at his bare feet. “I’m… never at peace around Annabeth. Always have to be ‘three steps ahead’ and be correct about everything.”

Beckendorf frowned and asked, almost afraid of the answer, even as his prosthetic hand gripped his forearm. “Percy… does she… does she hit you? Or… or is it just her words that leave a lasting mark?”

The fifteen year old curled in on himself as he moved to sit and tried to look away from his worried friend. “O-only when I’ve d-done something s-stupid. B-but she always m-makes me feel stupid.”

Beckendorf cursed feeling like an idiot for not seeing the signs. Triton was stone faced but it was clear the messenger god was less than pleased about this information. Especially as it seemed this Athena spawn was attempting to trap his baby brother into an abusive relationship. At least unlike her mother who had been genuine once upon a time with her friendship with Pallas. But that part of Athena died along with his daughter millennia ago.

“We need to keep you away from Annabeth, I don’t care if she’s a good strategist, she shouldn’t be around you.” Beckendorf stated.

“Please her plans are likely mediocre at best, Father had been Olympus’ main strategist before Athena’s birth and would have been even after if she wasn’t so loyal to… how did you put it little brother? Thunder pants?” Triton looked over at the nervous form of his younger sibling and tried a hand at making him smile.

Percy snorted at that last bit but then blinked. “Dad was their main strategist?”

“That’s news to me too,” Beckendorf admitted.

Triton’s eyebrows raised. “Hmm… it would seem either Chiron’s teachings are becoming lax or someone isn’t informing you all of the proper history.”

Percy winced about to defend his teacher when Beckendorf spoke first.

“Most of us teach each other, but Chiron’s never gone over the ‘proper’ stories it seems. Usually Annabeth handles that,” he says with an eye roll. “She’s always been his favorite so no surprise she’s not bringing forth real history.”

Percy winces and feels uncomfortable. But whether that’s because of Annabeth not doing the right thing, Chiron not teaching them right, or just in general he’s… feeling really uncomfortable. After a few more words Beckendorf left to return to the forges, he’d contacted his father and siblings to assure them he’s alive but helping beneath the sea.

Triton looked back down at Percy and frowned. “Why don’t you try on your armor? You should be protected even if you are close to one of us.”

“O-oh yeah, right,” Percy nodded and carefully put his armor on. It was a perfect fit, as expected for Berckendorf’s work. He looked ready for battle. It feels right and comforting when he feels so … lost. “H-hey Tri?”

”What is it, Perseus?” The god didn’t have much patience it seems now as he’s referring to his younger brother by his full name and not his preferred name.

“D-Do you and Lady Amphitrite hate me?”

The god paused his writing before he continued and spoke up. “No, I tend to hate demigod siblings based on the actions of those who came before. As well as what it means for my parents’ relationship. Mother may not care as she has her own affairs too, but I had hoped demigods would stop once that oath was taken.”

”Were they really that bad?” Percy asked curious as he stared up at his immortal brother.

Triton frowned. “They truly aren’t teaching you your history at that camp, are they.” While the words sounded like a question it was in fact a statement about the affairs of a place the sea gods haven’t looked into for over 70 years. A fact that seems to be biting them in the ass at the current moment in time.

“I know Theseus hurt Ariadne and fell from grace after his return to his home. Let alone how two faced Heracles really was. I… I met the one who made my sword. She should’ve been given credit.” Percy frowned as he rubbed his arm.

”Regardless it seems Chiron has become lax in his training methods let alone basic education for demigods.”

“I mean I’m pretty much self taught regarding my swordplay so you’re not wrong there.”

Triton broke another pen. “That centaur is getting fired, one way or another.” He muttered beneath his breath and Percy took that as his cue to shut up for a bit.

-Tiny Percy-

Three days after the talk with Triton and the sea messenger began planning Chiron’s retirement and an enforcement of new policies at Camp Half-Blood. They found out what exactly the potion was. Thank the gods. The only issue … is that the spell was ancient magic and quite literally cannot be removed. The spell itself is meant to create a physical manifestation of how the person feels about themselves. So the fact Percy feels so small… quite rightfully made his immortal family and Beckendorf feel really worried.

The other good news aside from learning what the potion does, is that it can be controlled by the person who consumed it. So they can, with either time or understanding the feelings behind the transformation, change between the forms.

So currently while this was going on, and again between battles or waves of attacks. Percy was sitting with Amphitrite and Poseidon. The pair were discussing ways to help protect their people. Percy wanted to help, even if he doesn't know much about Atlantean culture. They're still his father's people. He should help out.

“Perseus, calm down,” Amphitrite soothed the young one.

“I should be helping. I… I feel so useless,” he pouts, rubbing his arm. He's in another outfit she's weaved for him. A beautiful sea green chiton lined with white cresting waves, the himation was a matching green but with an intricate coral design. His armor that Beckendorf crafted was on over it.

“Son, you don't have to worry about this, it is our worry.” Poseidon tries to reassure his son.

“But this war down here… it… it's a trick. It has to be! Why else would you be attacked first over everyone else?” Percy demanded.

“Even if you are right young one, we cannot leave our people to be hurt.” Amphitrite reminded him gently. “And no offense to my brothers in law, but … I do not have faith in them coming to our aid.”

Poseidon winces at her words and knows his wife is right, sure back in the beginning they were young and worked well together. Poseidon had (temporarily) prophecy and strategy as domains, but even without them he'd trusted his instincts and adapted whenever his plans didn't work out. He'd been invaluable, but at the same time, when he had issues in the ocean. If he'd ask his brothers for advice or assistance… crickets every single time . Then as time progressed, the domains expanded and went to others. Prophecy to Apollo, and battle strategy to… Athena . Two gods who cannot get along at all.

It makes for poor preparation for such events like this. Apollo has so many domains he can't keep them all in order… especially when he's obsessing over poetry or the arts. He has important ones that apparently aren't getting the attention they need. Not to mention Athena so obsessed with battle strategy some of her children neglect their creative roots. Or have piss poor taste.

Percy explained some of … Annabeth's… ideas and quite honestly that much glass is counter productive and dangerous and wouldn’t last long term. You also wouldn't have any privacy for such designs, the light exposure would also damage anything inside. But at this point Poseidon is getting mentally sidetracked, his people are at war and while they've moved back many civilians, it's getting bad. The longer this lasts, the more the Sea God knows his kingdom will fall if they cannot end this war soon. He cannot hold out forever.

“You're family, they should come. Mr Paranoid can't win without you and if he thinks he can, he's an idiot who's forgotten what it took the first time around.” Percy stated bitterly about how the God King has been acting… in truth many of them hate it.

“First time around we were young, had strong allies… but the war was far longer and a lot more bloody… and… last time… mother had …” Poseidon stopped himself, his siblings didn't know and maybe it was best they remained in the dark.

“What… what about grandma Rh-” Percy started to say her name only to be silenced by Amphitrite. It wasn't a harsh blow or anything, just a delicate finger going to his lips/face and silencing him.

Amphitrite frowned, she knew because Poseidon told her. This isn't something for children to know. “Percy it isn't important.”

Percy gave the pair of them a deadpan, he wasn't buying that for a single second. “Clearly it is.”

The immortal couple looked at each other having a silent conversation before making the decision of whether to tell Percy or not. After a few minutes Poseidon sighed and figured he could at least tell someone else in the family who also has a small chance of seeing Rhea.

“I… didn't notice or know right away what she was doing. It… was after father had vomited the five of us up, we hadn’t been out of father since we were very young children. And before you ask, yes myths say we had been infants and technically that is partially true, because for gods or any immortals really, being an infant can be the equivalent of anything less than 1,000 years old. If not a bit older depending on their respective ages.” Poseidon began and answered Percy's question before he could voice it. The young demigod moved to sit and look up at his father and step-mother while they explained this.

Percy nodded as this explanation began.

“However, back to mother, when we were sprawled out on the throne room floor, I caught sight of father and mother's reactions. Father had been scared, almost afraid… whether that was due to the prophecy over his head about being dethroned, or something else. I… I do not know. But… mother… she looked pleased… but it wasn't right… she seemed almost darkly gleeful that Zeus got us out of father.” Poseidon sighed. “After we'd escaped, mother caught up with us, enticing us to fight against our father. She was… especially… adamant about chopping him up and throwing him into the Pit. Hestia, myself, Hades, and Demeter weren't so sure on the idea. But she kept insisting saying we owed it to her, that it's because she protected Zeus that we finally got out of father's stomach.”

“She was manipulating you,” Percy whispered in shock.

Poseidon nodded sadly. “She was. She convinced us to free the hundred hand ones and the elder Cyclopes in the Pit. It was a good idea and helped in the long run. Yet… she… she kept wanting us to do more. Find better allies, people m-mother cherry picked to help us. Whether or not they were on her side or ours we may never know.”

Percy frowned, he had so many questions and so few answers. He understands why his dad is worried about the current war. If grandma R could manipulate the gods and other titans back in the day onto her side, who's to say she isn't doing it again now and trying to get rid of her disappointments? A previously neutral Titan now fighting in the war and keeping his dad occupied and away from the Olympians?

But….

If she could manipulate his dad and her own kids… who else did Rhea manipulate?

Percy had no answers to his questions and was feeling mentally exhausted hearing such in-depth knowledge of his apparently evil grandma. Damn could he just get lucky for once in the grandparent department? Rubbing his face, his dad scooped him up to sleep in his pocket while the pair began their discussions of protecting Atlantis’ civilians better.

-Tiny Percy-

Percy groaned as he stood up. Looks like he’s dreaming again. Sadly for him he’s still small even in dreams. It’s annoying to say the least. But it helps getting around to listen in since no one expects him to be nearby let alone so small. Nico insisting he needs the Achilles Curse to help isn’t making matters any easier. But as the demigod son of Poseidon walked around he noticed he was in an office of some kind.

He couldn’t make out much, just that it felt similar to the boardroom of the Princess Andromeda. Kronos sitting and plotting his attack on Olympus. Yet he also looked… worried… about what the demigod wasn’t sure as he silently inched closer.

“Do you really think I’m going to let you win this time, Kronos?” A feminine voice said coldly as they stood before the titan lord. He was in Luke’s body but it almost seemed as if the young adult/titan had aged even more just being by this woman.

“Please Rhea, we’ve got them separated and at odds with one another. You’ll never win.” Kronos snapped back, but he looked wary, almost uncertain he was going to win. “If you hadn’t stolen my youngest I would’ve kept him safe from you as I had with the others!”

‘So with her being manipulative it wasn’t about a prophecy to which he ate his children. Likely it had to do with her not being as she appears.’ Percy thought, careful of names so they don’t see him.

“You would’ve kept them weak along with mankind.” She argued. “Our youngest burns bright in the sky.”

“It isn’t meant to be his domain! Something of the earth would have been better and kept him sane! Your meddling ensured his downfall into madness and paranoia!”

“As if Hades should have had the sky, his looks suit the dead better.” She mocked.

Percy frowned as he continued to listen. ‘Are my uncles suffering because their elements are not meant to go to them?’

“You got lucky Poseidon’s nature aligns with the ocean otherwise we’d have three insane sons, but no you just had to ensure your ‘perfect looking’ son got the sky, one of the most dangerous domains, and the one who was intended for the sky is stuck underground because he looked more like death.” Kronos spat out. “The only reprieve I have is that Demeter and Hestia aren’t insane, but thanks to you Hera is just like you.” He snarls. He didn’t dare use his boys’ names, but his daughters were okay. Hestia keeps to herself and while Demeter has an obsession with agriculture, it isn’t as bad as Hera’s desire for perfection.

‘Not surprised at that.’ Percy thought with a deadpan as he got closer and caught sight of Rhea. She had dad’s eyes, same as he does, but her expression was more like Hera, stern and desiring perfection.

“They do as I tell them, like good little toys.” Rhea snarked. “I curate the narrative Kronos, don’t forget that. If I say they’ll win and you’ll fall even further, then it will happen .”

“I can’t believe I ever loved you.” Kronos glared, having no other words for the titaness who once held his heart.

Rhea just laughed, it was cold and hollow, almost reminding Percy of his first dreams of Kronos… a cold evil laugh. Full of manipulation. “Pity, as I never loved you.”

“Leave, I have a war to win,” Kronos glared at his, as far as he’s concerned, ex-wife. He didn’t have time for her mind games.

Rhea left without another word but it still felt like she won… so let’s change that.

“She always such a bitch?” Percy asked as he announced his presence, currently he was leaning against the desk. Granted he’s still 2 ½ inches tall so he’s not easy to spot.

“Unfortunately… surprised you’re here Jackson… wherever that is. Odd normally I can sense or at least see you.” The Titan lord mused as he looked around for his grandson.

“Down here, and I don’t choose where my demigod dreams take me. Granted this does enlightenment to what my father said about… her … and it seems my theory was right.” Percy said and looked up at the massive titan, the golden glowing eyes staring down at him. He grunted as two fingers pinched him and picked him up.

“Hmm interesting,” Kronos hummed as he stared at the teen.

“Which part, the fact I’m barely three inches tall or that I’m not surprised about grandma ?” Percy sassed.

“Both,” Kronos chuckled humorlessly.

“Dad told me about her manipulations, and for the size… apparently it’s something called Deep Truth Potion? Probably got that wrong.” Percy stated.

“I know the spell you speak of, hmm I’m surprised this is what it did to you.” Kronos’ expression betrayed nothing, yet the immortal seemed curious.

“Given it’s supposed to reveal how I view myself, with this as the result… doesn’t surprise me now.”

Kronos raised a brow, a silent ask for elaboration.

“I’ve been told all my life that I should’ve been aborted, I shouldn’t be allowed to exist, I ruined my mother’s life with my birth, and that was BEFORE I arrived in our world. After that I thought I belonged… until my claiming and everyone said I shouldn’t exist again. This time because of a stupid oath to keep a prophecy from happening.” If he could move the teen would be pacing and throwing his hands around. However he’s still pinched between Luke-ok technically Kronos’ fingers.

“So the gods-”

“Whoa back up og cannibal, it wasn’t the GODS who said that. They thought it but never said it to my face until the winter solstice where Artemis was captured.” Percy countered. “This was all the demigods and Chiron. Honestly at least the gods are honest in their behaviors. The demigods are worse, they pretend they’re right when they aren’t… though that’s probably my projecting on Annabeth and her damned pride.”

Kronos’ eyes narrowed at that. “Hmm, interesting word choice.”

“Take it your spy has been saying different shit about me?”

“More or less.”

“Mhmm… did you really eat your kids to control a prophecy?”

Kronos frowned… “Not really. If they wanted to rule they could have asked when old enough. I was more worried about my ex-wife.”

“Given how she acted I have 0 reasons to trust her, not just because of dad seeing through her too. More I think on it, Annabeth is the same.” Percy frowned. “Why am I such an idiot?”

“Oi, no self depreciation in my office,” Kronos flicked Percy's head. It hurt a lot but the teen grumbled.

“Noted,” Percy grumbled rubbing his head, and more or less his face since that flick hit both.

Kronos put Percy atop the desk taking the child's form in. Aside from being half the size of a pen, he wasn't in too bad of a shape. The blast may have detonated his ship, but it was clear to see Percy was in good health despite being so small.

“Um… this is awkward but… any advice on how to control … this size thing?” Percy asked, looking uncomfortable as he shifted his weight. Dream for the demigod or not, it's obvious he's still a young child.

“Aside from practice… figure out where the feelings come from that make you feel so small grandson.” Kronos suggested. “From there, well I think you're smart enough to get it.”

With a wave of his hand the Titan Lord sends his grandson away. Hopefully he can enjoy a nicer rest while the titan plans ways to take down Olympus and bring some balance back to the world. His eldest and youngest sons have suffered enough. As for his immortal grandchildren… that will be a pick and choose issue. Let alone fixing what damage has been done to them.

-Tiny Percy-

After Percy's dream revealed more about his grandparents that he didn't know about. There was a visit from Silena, she missed Beckendorf, and wanted an audience with Poseidon. Percy was slowly working on his size issue and actually was coming close to a breakthrough when Silena came. Currently he was on the desk, since he hasn't made much of a breakthrough aside from growing a few inches before shrinking back down. Still progress is progress.

“Lord Poseidon,” Silena bowed to the god of tides.

“Welcome daughter of Aphrodite, what did you wish to speak on that needed to take place within my palace?” Poseidon asked, he was still old looking but for this he did make an attempt to look a bit nicer.

Silena swallowed her fears and showed Poseidon, and by extension Percy, a scythe charm. “This… I've been the spy in Camp. I… I just wanted Charlie safe,” she was going to explain her actions only for the sea god to raise his hand to silence her.

“Why tell me? Why not your mother or a different god?” Poseidon asked, his face calm and collected. In truth they have not spoken of anything serious and on the off chance Kronos is listening to his spy reveal herself. He won't give away anything. Poseidon has to be careful, even with the truth of his mother being manipulative revealed, doesn't mean he automatically trusts Kronos.

Silena looked uncomfortable before voicing her thoughts. “It's because of what's been going on at camp that I'm doing this. Let alone the implications of Olympus.”

Poseidon was quiet and allowed the girl to continue. Percy turned to stare at Silena as she began.

“With Percy and Charlie not coming back, Annabeth's been spreading rumors about their deaths. Spreading lies about Percy. I know for a fact they’re lies because I double checked with Clarisse.” Silena stated.

“Let me guess it was about the Sea of Monsters?” Percy asked with a deadpan.

“Not just that, she's making it seem like you're incompetent. Lies from the Labyrinth quest, the one to free Artemis, and even the first one when you two were twelve.” Silena informed, “She's trying to rewrite history. What's worse is that those on Olympus aren't contesting her. My mother, Ares, Mr D, Hephaestus, Apollo and Artemis have been trying, but Athena's been overriding them. Hermes has been overworked so he can't say anything… rumor has it Lord Zeus has tried as well…. But… I'm not certain how accurate that is.”

Percy frowned remembering what he learned about his bitch of a grandma, and hearing this. “Think this might be her ?” Percy asked his father.

“Most likely, and given your allegiance to father was to protect someone you love,” the god looked at Silena closely. He can feel Aphrodite's war epitaph in the girl. She's a warrior that much is clear and he can see she's not siding with those who would dishonor their fighters, let alone condone lies being spread to ensure an ego is satiated. “Perhaps there is another way to end this war… preserve what is… even if it is broken… or raze it and change it to something new….”

Percy and Silena glanced at each other. Wondering what the sea god was talking about. Percy had a feeling it was about the prophecy around him.

“Lord Poseidon… what are you thinking sir?” Silena asked nervously.

Poseidon was quiet. “I believe it's time for Percy to know the Prophecy. Once he can change back to normal size, you, Perseus and the son of Hephaestus will return to camp and read the Great Prophecy.”

The two teens nodded at the god, Silena was dismissed and taken to a guest quarters to rest. This is in part to her being a spy for the enemy, and because Percy needs a little more time to figure out how to turn big again. Once she was gone however Percy looked at his father who was contemplating something.

“Dad? Wh-what choice should I make?” He asks nervously. “I don't want my friends to die needlessly.”

“War is never kind my son, but… as I hear and learn more than I thought possible… I wonder if the great prophecy is a warning that preserving Olympus… saving it…is the wrong call to make.” The god while appearing old was very concerned. “In the end… I trust you to make the right choice.”

Percy frowned then smiled softly. His dad has such confidence in him… it was… really reassuring.

-Tiny Percy-

It would only take another two days for Percy to figure out what feelings are tied to his shrinking. It was tied to his feelings of depression, inferiority, and worthlessness. The last one was brought about thanks to Annabeth along with Percy's long dead stepfather. Between the two it was a miracle Percy had any self-confidence to begin with.

Yet with some mental work Percy can change forms for long periods but any wavering in his self-confidence would equate to being small again. It was better than nothing and it was high time he went home, he had a war to prepare for.

Before heading back, Percy spoke with Silena and Beckendorf about the daughter of Aphrodite being a spy. She agreed to help if needed, but Percy just wanted her to be safe along with Beckendorf. With the new information they had, as Percy shared with them what Silena told him and what the son of Poseidon learned of his grandparents.

The pair agreed to spread word cautiously, and keep an eye out for anyone who’s on the side of the mother of Olympus.

During the time back home, Percy felt someone was watching him. He had hoped it was his immortal family, but no such luck when he felt someone right behind him and saw nothing. He knew it wasn’t them.

“Stop stalking me Chase.” Percy groused out. “I know it’s you.”

There was a sound of shuffling before Annabeth finally took her invisibility cap off. “Where the Hades were you, SeaweedBrain?” She demanded arms crossed. Acting as if she has the right to know where he is at all times.

“Healing with my father along with Beckendorf. You know this.” He stated. “We told the camp the minute we arrived.” Percy was done with her bullshit. He’s done with her trying to control his every action. War or not, daughter of the wisdom goddess or not, Perseus Jackson was done with this Hubris fueled girl dragging him down to below her.

“You’re not ready for the Great Prophecy! Lying and saying your father said it was time isn’t right!” She snapped at him.

“You’re calling the god of the oceans a liar?” Percy demanded not even bothering to entertain her words. “I’m going to learn Annabeth, whether you like it or not. You are not the boss of me.”

He pointedly walked away heading to the Big House and if Chiron pushed back, he’ll remind the centaur he’s failed his job for years, and it’s time whether he likes it or not. As he walked Percy had to dodge an attack by Annabeth, which he countered by disarming her and breaking her arm. She’d almost stabbed him in the gut… a literal stab in the back!

“Traitor!” He snarled at her and kicked the daughter of Athena away, running to get help. She might not be physically strong but Annabeth has been at camp for years making bonds with campers. Who knows if she’s got anyone else on her side to stop him.

As he ran, the son of Poseidont didn’t notice vines were grabbing Annabeth and stopping her, let alone that someone had witnessed what the daughter of Athena had tried to do. Once at the Big House, Chiron thankfully believed him, about Poseidon saying it was time, not about Annabeth. Because of course the old centaur wouldn’t think lowly of his favorite student.

Percy decided to ignore that for now as he looked at the centaur with disappointment in his eyes. “I’m reading the prophecy to the camp. Regardless of what you want Chiron. It’s time to stop avoiding fate.”

Chiron didn’t look happy but he couldn't stop the son of Poseidon. If the sea god believes it’s time… then it’s time.

-Tiny Percy-

Percy sighed as he laid in bed, he asked his dad for wards on the cabin to ensure no one got in without his express permission. That included opening the door or windows or sneaking in if they were already open. Thanks to him reading the prophecy everyone was nervous, but agreed since Percy's birthday was in less than a month it would do good to prepare for the war rather than fight pointlessly with each other.

What also helped is that Pollux and Katie had both seen Annabeth attacking him, this discredited her saying that he struck with no warning. Let alone the other rumors she started spreading, which thanks to Clarisse, Silena, and Beckendorf discrediting with the truth, the daughter of Athena's word, had lost a ton of weight.

“Serves her right for trying to rewrite history,” Percy grumbled as he rolled over. He hoped his dreams wouldn’t be nightmares tonight. Sadly his wish would not be granted, as he saw something that explained a lot about his uncle's marriage. Let alone more about Rhea's true nature.

Percy was on Olympus in his dream, in a palace he was unfamiliar with. Not too surprising since he's only been to the home of the gods twice and both times weren't exactly ideal for looking around or mingling with gods. Even if the second time was a solstice party. Though given the gold and white decor, lightning imagery along with the peacocks kind made it a bit easy to see whose home this was.

Percy was about to go anywhere else when he heard yelling, this spooked him and caused the teen to turn small before he continued towards the fighting. Well he assumed it was a fight. He arrived at Zeus and Hera's bed chamber as he heard something break, likely a vase of some kind. Squeezing under the door, the demigod son of Poseidon witnessed something he never thought he'd seen before. Zeus was cowering away from Hera?! Along with a visitor whom Percy pointedly doesn't want to meet in person. Rhea.

“Why can't you do anything right you useless husband!” Hera snapped at Zeus.

“You're supposed to keep things in order but it seems I picked the wrong child.” Rhea scoffed. She and Hera looked very similar, aside from the eyes and hair.

“I'm trying,” Zeus tried to argue, he looked exhausted and very disheveled. Something Percy never thought possible. The god king wasn’t standing with swagger or as if he was the best thing ever. He didn’t look paranoid as if everyone was out to get him. His… His uncle looked scared. “Po's got his own war, and I can't blame Hady for-”

Hera slapped Zeus to silence him, and if Percy wasn't small and hiding behind shards of a broken vase he would've been found out by now. “Enough! I told you before, we don't need them ! If you just did as I said we wouldn't have had to deal with father at all!”

“Zeus, you can do this without them. After all it was you who freed your siblings with my assistance. They would never question your leadership again if you just do as we say.” Rhea added on using a honey sweet tone to soothe Zeus.

This scene… It reminded him waaay too much of Gabe and what he used to do to him and his mom. Keeping them silent with violence and false promises.

“Y-yeah… I,... I don't need them,” Zeus agreed. Though Percy could see the truth from where he was hidden. Zeus didn't believe that, he just said what he said to get them to leave him alone. The women soon left, not bothering to clean up their mess. Once they were far enough away and Zeus thought he was alone the god king started to cry, and from underneath the bed a handsome young man came out. The young man was beautiful, with sun kissed tan skin, bright honey-brown eyes, wearing a simple white chiton adorned with lightning symbols. He ran over and hugged Zeus. “I-I’m ok Gany,” the god tried to reassure his cupbearer.

“I know you're not,” Ganymede said softly as he hugged his master close. “But I'm here Zu.”

Zeus hiccupped and hugged his only comfort closer. He never knew his nephew witnessed this and was fueled with a desire to protect him. To get rid of the rot that's hurt their family enough. Percy Jackson is a lot of things, but one thing he knows more than anything. Is that he hates abusers with a passion. And perhaps the madness and paranoia isn’t all because Zeus is ruling the wrong domain. Maybe it’s something else… but with Hera as a wife and Rhea whispering in his ear too… maybe it’s both?

Soon though his dream shifted and Percy saw Athena, Hera, and Rhea plotting together to ensure their victory happens and remove anyone who would get in their way. Percy was silent and glared at them, he wasn't going to let them win.

He's got less than three weeks to prepare for war, keep Annabeth from figuring out his plans, and somehow protect as many of his fellow demigods as he can. And with knowing what he knows now… Percy can't let the gods win… it's time for a new age. It's time for a change.

-Tiny Percy-

Percy smirked as he went over plans with Grover, Silena, and Beckendorf. Thanks to their planning and some well worded conversations with Uncle Hades and his dad their plan was in motion. To cut out the rot within Olympus and raze what once was to the ground and rebuild it anew. Thanks to Silena's charm, grandpa knew what was going on and with a few dreams a deal, one forged on a binding oath, was made.

“Ready,” he asked his most trusted advisors, the others would be informed carefully due to the mistrust to Annabeth and whoever else is aligned with Athena, Hera, and Rhea.

“Ready,” Beckendorf grinned. Learning under the Cyclopes was enlightening, not to mention what Percy dreamed of. All in all, he was ready for a change, and the world needs it too.

“Of course,” Silena nodded, feeling more reassured about her choices.

“Always Perce,” Grover smiled. He's behind his best friend 100% now and for forever.

“Alright, we've got a war to win,” he grins at them and they prepare for the final battle to come in the next few days. His birthday is soon and thus the end of the war. The end of an era.

-Tiny Percy-

Percy smiled as he held the knife, the cursed blade. Annabeth was begging Luke to come back to her. To do as he promised. Yet the boy was long gone, Kronos was in full control. And thanks to some interference, Krios and the Titan stronghold wouldn't fall. The titan smirked down at her as he stood within the center of the Olympian Throne Room.

“Foolish girl, you've lost.” Kronos laughed. “Olympus will fall.”

“No! Percy give Luke the knife! You can still do the right thing!” Annabeth shouted at Percy who stood silent watching her as he just held her knife.

“Do you even know what that means?” Percy asked her as he twisted the knife in his hand.

“Of course I do! You have to save the world!” She shouted at him as he continued to ignore her.

“Save the world? I'd rather save my family from the poison that's been corrupting it from the inside long before we were born.” Percy told her, turning to face the injured daughter of Athena who was leaning against her mother’s throne. “And part of that is cutting out the corruption before it can bloom even more.”

“He isn't wrong, look,” Kronos mocked. Using his powers he showed Typhon arriving at New York, the monster grabbing Hera as his leg was submerged into the Hudson. At the same time Poseidon rose to help, yet conveniently bound Typhon's hand holding Hera to his body. A well placed gag on her mouth prevented anyone from hearing her pleas for help. This ensured the queen of the gods couldn’t escape. She was being dragged down to Tartarus with Typhon.

Percy smirked. “One down.”

Kronos laughed. “Two to go.”

“Wh-what are you-?” Annabeth grunted as she tried to get up but with her leg broken she couldn't move.

“Oh Chase, so narrow minded, did you really think the rot I spoke of, was all of Olympus. No, no you ignorant bitch.” Percy spat at her. “It's the three responsible for hurting this family.”

“Now let's see how number 2 is doing?” Kronos grinned as he showed Rhea being attacked by Hades, Demeter, and Persephone. The titaness was captured in chains and was banished to Tartarus as well. The remaining titans had been freed weeks ago when Percy had spoken with his uncle and father. The ‘good’ ones were waiting to be set free once the war finished.

“Two down, and one left.” Percy smirked. “Hmm let's bring her in shall we grandpa?”

“Let's, my grandson,” Kronos laughed coldly as Percy threw the cursed blade at Annabeth. It landed true, he'd been taking knife throwing lessons from Silena and Micheal Yew. His aim was far better than with a bow and arrow so his mark hit home, nailing the hubris riddled girl in the chest. A fatal blow.

Percy was silent watching her look at him in shock. He felt nothing… well not true… it still hurts. She had been his friend, someone he trusted, they shed blood on quests together, they bonded over trauma of those quests.

And yet still.

She betrayed him. Painted him in a light so foul just to make herself look better. Tried to attack him for saying she wasn’t in control. She didn’t care if their friends died… so long as she got what she wanted. Her mother isn’t too dissimilar, granted according to his older brother she became like that after the death of Pallas. Speaking of, Percy smirked, feeling the goddess’ presence arriving.

“She’s here.”

“Good, now. Hestia my dear eldest daughter, please take the demigods of both sides to your temple. I’d rather they not interfere with this fight. Same with the nature spirits. Unnecessary death was a part of the agreement that was made.” Kronos told his eldest daughter who was by the hearth having arrived earlier.

The goddess of hearth and home smiled softly. “Of course.” She has such relief knowing that her family won’t be hurt.

“Be safe gramps,” Percy smiled as he was whisked away by Hestia along with his allies and their enemies. Anyone who could be hurt by Kronos assuming his true form would be protected by Hestia’s temple. He knew that down below his dad and uncle bound the remaining Olympians aside from Athena. It was to keep them from fighting as well as explain what’s going on.

Percy only hoped that Zeus would listen and not do something stupid.

-Tiny Percy-

As Percy thought down by the Hudson River, Poseidon had the other gods tied up with Hades’ help. All but Athena who planned to kill Percy to get back at Poseidon for his betrayal. The ocean god trusts his father to keep his word and his older sister to protect his son.

The other Olympians were too exhausted from fighting Typhon to put up much resistance. A small mercy, and thanks to Hades being well rested it assisted in detaining the others since Poseidon is still weakened from the war beneath the waves.

Out of everyone present, only Zeus was looking at his brothers. The others were either leaning against each other for support or trying to figure out what to do now.

“Why?” Zeus finally spoke up as he looked up at his big brothers and big sister.

“I’d ask what you mean, but if you’re wondering why we’re stopping you from stopping father, it’s quite simple.” Hades replied easily.

“We’re done having our family be hurt by those who don’t care.” Poseidon tells Zeus.

“But Uncle-“ Hermes tried to speak up only for Hades to gently shush him.

“Peace nephew, we don’t mean anyone here. We mean the three who have been manipulating this family for millennia.” Hades countered.

Zeus blinked and paled. “Y-you don’t mean?”

“Our ‘dear’ sister Hera was banished to Tartarus along with Typhon.” Poseidon smirked. “Made sure she was quiet and in his hand when we chained him down.”

“Hades, myself, and Persephone took our mother out of commission.” Demeter smiled coldly. “She’s down in the pit where she belongs.”

“Then what about Athena?” Ares demanded knowing the bird brain wasn’t present.

“She is being handled by father.” Poseidon assured.

“And the kids?” Apollo was worried.

“Protected by Hestia.” Persephone informed.

“Why those three?” Hephaestus asked. “Not that I’m complaining, mother ain’t exactly my favorite but why those other two?”

Before the three children of Kronos could voice why, the answer surprisingly came from their baby brother.

“Because both are abusive and manipulative. Mother especially. Long before you children were born. As for your sister… well she met her grandmother and took her instructions on how to handle people to heart.” Zeus shivered and seemed to be forcing himself to remain strong.

“Took us a long time to realize huh,” Hades sighed.

“Athena wasn’t expected, though our sister and mother were.” Poseidon hummed as they waited for father to finish her off and the true end of the war could begin.

Peace Talks.

Atop the Empire State Building a massive golden glow could be seen for miles. Thankfully humans are still asleep and the demigods were protected. It would seem the Titan Lord was holding back his power even with being reborn.

“Athena has been sent to the pit.” Kronos’ voice echoed in their minds. “It’s time to talk.”

-Tiny Percy-

It had been a week since the fall of Athena, Hera, and Rhea. The three goddesses responsible for manipulating the family into doing what they wanted over the needs and wants of others. A week since Olympus of old was ‘razed’ and the old way was destroyed. The physical place and people safe and alive, the demigods healing and recovering. The dead gathered for final rights and funerals once all was said and done.

A week since the Olympians and Titans began negotiating.

“Any idea when they’ll be done?” Ethan Nakamura asked Percy as they all rested either in or around Hestia’s temple. Many minor gods had assisted Hephaestus with repairs to New York to minimize damages while the two armies rested. The monsters were kept out away from the city.

“Not a clue, but if it takes less than a few years I’d be surprised.” Percy mused.

“Can’t disagree on that. Between confirming the actions of the traitors, genuine intentions, let alone what to do with all us demigods, we’re gonna be here a while.” Malcolm sighed. He and a few of his siblings were spared but those who sided with their mother hadn’t been. Annabeth had sided with their mother and given her actions let alone inactions, well suffice to say Malcolm wasn’t surprised so few of his siblings were still alive.

“Could be worse,” a daughter of Hecate mused. “We could still be fighting to the death.”

“Not wrong, I still don’t get how you guys all turned sides?” A son of Morpheus asked.

“It’s not that we switched sides.” Connor started.

“But more like our leader saw the true enemy we were fighting and planned from there.” Travis finished and gestured to Percy who was polishing his sword.

“Good thing he did too, otherwise who knows how bad things could’ve ended.” Silena agreed and was sitting with her boyfriend.

“How did you know about them tho?” Ethan asked Percy.

“A mix of things, between an offhand comment from dad and a few demigod dreams,” Percy explains. He didn’t want to get into details about his shrinking powers. Which was the result of a potion so best not explain THAT bit.

“He did spend time under the sea with his dad while recovering after the Andromeda blew up.” Clarisse added on, giving credit to Percy’s story.

Beckendorf and Silena confirmed as well.

Before more chatter could take place Lady Hestia arrived.

“Children, the combined council wishes to see you all.” She tells them. Everyone bowed to her and in all fairness all the demigods were nervous, all of them could mean anything. One or two would’ve been more akin to a court session. So the worrying thing now is what’s gonna happen next.

As they traversed through the partially destroyed eternal city, Kronos did have to make it look like he was gonna destroy everything. But overall it was in good shape, the place was still beautiful. Nymphs and minor gods were repairing things. The council room is where the negotiations were taking place, since it wasn’t too damaged from the fighting. The thrones were replaced by couches it seemed for the negotiating process. Smart since the thrones are symbols of power so moving them for this made sense.

The titans were seated on the left hand side, the remaining Olympians plus Hades and Persephone were on the right hand side. The room didn’t feel tense, in fact it felt… comforting? What’s going on?

“Welcome heroes,” Zeus announced to the large group of demigods from both sides of the war. He seemed… oddly relaxed… is he high? “While we have been negotiating peace, we have reached two consensus so far, that involves all of you.”

The demigods whispered in surprise, but many weren’t surprised the gods and titans were not done negotiating. The surprise is the two groups coming to two agreements already!

“Indeed,” Kronos… and WHOA! Many did a double take seeing the Titan Lord. Sure he had his own body now and Luke’s was among those to be burned for death. But the Titan of Agriculture and Time looked a LOT like Poseidon! It was kinda uncanny, aside from the golden eyes they looked identical. Sure Kronos had a few less wrinkles, but that might have to do with being reborn than actual age since gods and titans can look however they want to. “While discussing we came to the conclusion that you little ones need to be rewarded for your efforts. Gods will reward their heroes and we Titans shall reward our own.”

“The reason for this, young ones, is to honor those who fight by our sides, while also acknowledging your sacrifices for your beliefs.” Koios informed the children, the Titan of Knowledge was smiling down at them.

“As well there will be changes to some ancient laws, though that is still being discussed.” Apollo tacked on as an explanation that while they know the why it’s still going to be a bit before the finer details are hammered out.

The demigods all nodded.

So they were honored, the generals and higher ranked demigods were rewarded on both sides. To avoid a competition they did two at a time, one for each side. Some were given new weapons, titles of importance, and even jobs! Grover became a new Lord of the Wild and member of the Council of Cloven Elders to help spread the regrowth of the wild. He would be joined by a daughter of Demeter who took the Titan’s side and is quite the environmentalist so she’ll get along well with Grover and the nature spirits.

Ethan was given a job to help guide new demigods to camp and keep them safe. Ensure balance so they don’t feel left behind. As for camp, there was an agreement to change how things were done. A complete overhaul essentially. To help him was Clarisse as she’d be bringing in more kids too.

Last but not least was Percy, oddly he wasn’t called up yet. He didn’t mind, he genuinely didn’t want a reward any-

“PERCY JACKSON!” Zeus and Kronos both shouted beaming at each other. This was the other agreement. A reward for the one to end their suffering, whose plan gave them a chance for true peace between Titans and Gods.

Percy blinked and when he realized no one else was called he walked forward and bowed to both lords and knelt before them. Sure Poseidon should’ve done the reward but this was agreed upon to be bestowed by both sides. And they’ll ensure the boy knows they won’t be accepting ‘no’ as an answer.

“Who here would deny the right of a reward for our hero?” Zeus asked and was met with silence. No one argued.

“He has done more than well. He cunningly crafted a plan to remove one of the biggest threats to the Pantheon. Ensuring the poison that has been lingering was eliminated.” Kronos smiled down at his grandson in pride.

“Freeing many from the clutches of those whom would harm us or what is ours for their own amusement.” Zeus added, Ganymede was by his side as well. The cupbearer was content and happy as his master was free for the first time in millennia.

“So it is only fitting that a proper reward be given.” Kronos watched Percy, his golden gaze kind and gentle as he looked down at his precious grandson.

“We grant you, Percy Jackson, immortality. Specifically godhood,” Zeus informed his nephew.

“Wh-what?” Percy was shocked at the offer. “B-but I didn’t do much.” His words earned fond chuckles from both sides of immortals.

“The decision was unanimous, grandson; your kindness, your ability to see beyond what is in front of you, and your strength. These are the reasons you prevailed time and time again over the course of this war. These traits also allowed you to find the root of the poison within the Pantheon and expel it,” Kronos informed.

“Perseus, while many would see the damage being done and do nothing, you my nephew, did something. You chose to fight against it. You are more than deserving of Godhood.” Zeus assures his nephew.

“B-but I-” Percy didn’t know what to say. He didn’t want immortality. He wanted to live and die with his friends. Yet the immortals could see the conflict in his eyes.

“Percy, you’re thinking short term. In the long run, there is a lot of good you can do with immortality. Protect demigods for centuries to come.” Kronos informs him.

“Help them in ways we cannot see or think of, you understand them in a way we cannot.” Zeus added on. “Knowing you, from what I’ve seen and been told, nephew. If given the choice you’d reject the notion just to give the gift away to your fellow demigods.”

Percy blushed at that. His uncle hit the nail on the head there.

Kronos watched that blush and wished he could kiss those rosy cheeks. But that isn’t for here. No, this is meant to be a reward for hard work. Perhaps if the fates are kind, Kronos might have a chance with his grandchild. But for now, working on fixing the mistakes of the past.

“I… I accept.” Percy sighed and smiled up at them. He didn’t want to accept all things considered… but he isn’t being given a choice.

Besides… Kronos is right… in the long term he could do a lot more good as a god than the short term as a hero.

With his words of acceptance, the gods and titans began chanting. A flow of power coursed through the air and condensed around Percy’s form. His body was burning away his red blood to be replaced with ichor. More power than he’s ever felt before flowed into his very being. With this power, came something else… a sensation… likely his new domains. Things are gonna be different now… but maybe that’s a good thing.

Once the chanting finished and the power flow ceased, Percy slowly got to his feet.

“Hail, Perseus Jackson, God of Loyalty, The Destroyer, Protector of Demigods, and the newest Olympian.” Zeus announces to those assembled. The Olympian part was also discussed since Hestia refused to rejoin the council. Hades agreed since it was long overdue he joined, and they just needed a final seat filled. Due to Hera and Athena both being removed the balance needed to be set.

“Hail, Perseus Jackson, God Family, Hero of Olympus, and Protector of the Pantheon.” Kronos praises, the title taken from Hera who never cared for families outside of perfect ones.  Percy would fit that title better.

As Percy stood before all, the demigods knelt to the new god. Honored and in awe. This was the beginning of a new era. A new chapter for their pantheon and future. Who knew that a potion would be the cause of this change. Well regardless, it’s time for a new beginning for their world. Who knows, maybe love is in the future or just a better tomorrow. Regardless, they’ll all face it together.
