And so Donald was under the influence for the last few years of woe.
“I have to get my car washed today and I’m gonna take a bath so I’m with my dad”. He said with breath upon his lips.
“I will be there, Toronto, tomorrow morning.” A yawn.
“I don’t have time to go get my stuff done but I can do the dishwasher’s work.” Just like all the other times the kitchen didn’t work. He said so.
“Thanks for your patience with the kitchen”
“Of course you can.” He ran from that place with the car and soon enough he was gone.
He sat, right side up, like a chicken. As the old saying goes ‘the chicken never catches the fly, but the fly eats the chicken’. Oh how we laughed. And cried, but all that’s cashmere to us now.
