Wrong Place, Wrong Time

Summary:

Bakugou leaves a party drunk and somehow (God doesn't even know how) ends up at his house.
Only that it is NOT his house, and there's a fat and ugly white Persian laying on top of him, and a half-faced hot bastard staring him down.
Wait, what?

Notes:

Bakugou leaves a party drunk and ends up in the wrong house. Cue the cheesy sitcom music as he tries to find where the fucking bathroom is.

Chapter 1: Not My House

Chapter Text

It's 12:30 at night when Bakugou finally decides enough is enough. Tired, aggravated, and drunker than a sailor out at sea, he stumbles around the bar and towards the blurry double doors at the far side of the club. The hell, why's the door so damn far away...?  The potent alcohol swirling through his veins somehow manages to slur his trail of thought, turning the cluster of brain cells and flesh into nothing but mush contained by bone.

Something, or someone rather, bumps into him. The solid surface knocks the intoxicated blonde right on his rump and elicits a guttural and menacing snarl out. "Hey, watch where ya goin', fucknut."  Bakugou glares up with fiercely burning yet heavily glassy orange eyes at the person; a stocky man with dark colored features hidden by the lack of light in the club. "Huuuh?"

The elongated word severed a nerve within Bakugou's temple. Pushing himself onto unsteady feet, he swerved right in front of the heavy built man. "I said," he repeated, each word longer and more slurred than the male's, "watch where you're goin'. Fuck. Nut."

The emphasis on the insulting language sent a twitch through the other man's dark colored eyes. He shoved the ashen and drunk blonde away from him, spitting out curses that went right over the blonde's head.

The realization was delayed as Bakugou found himself back on his ass again. Finally realizing what happened, he staggered and stumbled back onto his feet, anger spitting out of his glassy orange gaze. "You fuckin' wanna go, asshole?! I'll beat your ass right here, right now!"

His loud and raucous shout attracted the attention of three club members, all of them being his associates. The other man glared down at Bakugou while clenching his left fist. Unaware of the powerful slugger coming his way, Bakugou kept mouthing off.

"Fuckin' little bitch, I'll kill you if you put your motherfucking hands on me again. Just try me, little punk ass bitch."

Before the jaw-breaking hit occurred, a shadow suddenly loomed over the two. "Problem here, boys?" it said, its voice deep and menacing and more louder than Bakugou's voice and the thrumming jams playing through the speakers. Bakugou glared up at the bouncer, his face shielded by the lack of light in the club. "Fuck off," he wanted to say, but three bodies suddenly surrounded him; one had the gall to grab him by his shoulders.

"No, there's no problem here Mr. Bouncer! We were just looking for our friend here!" In a much quieter and more demanding voice, "Bakugou, get your ass over here now!"

"Let me go, let me go dammit!" Bakugou screamed while trying to wrench his shoulder free. The person that grabbed him, a broadly built man with spiky red hair and deep red eyes, gave him a warning and pleading glance before turning to flash a too-wide smile at the bouncer. "We'll just be returning back to the party now, thank you! Let's go, man!"

Another pair of hands grabbed him, this time on his arms. Feeling the increasing hands of others had the drunken blonde's blood boiling underneath his pale skin and he began fighting his restraints as they pulled him back into the crowd. "Bakugou you dumbass! Do you want to get kicked out of here?"

The person that asked him was a blonde just like himself except that his hair was more on the golden spectrum and had a unique lightning-shaped highlight in it. His golden eyes flashed worriedly over his drunken friend, who was returning a harsher gaze back to him. "You need to stop picking fights with people in clubs, man, otherwise you're going to get your ass beat."

"Yeah, what Kaminari said."

"Fuck you guys!"  Bakugou screeched loudly over the pounding bass. That caused all of his friends to jump back in total shock. "I'm sick of this shit! I'm tired, hungry, and I have a bitch-ass fucking headache because of this shitty music. I'm leaving."

"Wait, man!" A tall and dark haired man with deep brown eyes tried to reach for him, but one look into the flaming orange gates of Hell had him reeling back. "Fuck you for dragging me out to this piece of shit hole-in-the-wall."

Bakugou stomped off, hands shoved deep into his denim pockets. Behind him, his cluster of friends tried to call after him.

"Dude, don't leave yet! The party's just getting started."

"C'mon, stay a little longer, man!"

"You're too drunk to drive!"

One of them finally spoke with reason. "Leave it guys, he's not listening to us. Let's just go."

Bakugou smirked, thankful that one of his idiot acquaintances had some fucking brains. He stomped out of the club and into the warm and breezy night, his slurred mind determined to get home ASAP.

The smell of dark roast coffee fills the warm atmosphere. At 12:45, a yawn accompanied by a stretch of long and lean limbs shoots out from a light brown couch. Todoroki watches as his friend, Midoriya, rolls of his couch, gently moving Darling off of him. "It's really late, I should get going..." he murmurs just a little above quiet.

Todoroki grins at his freckled green haired friend. The two were watching a comedy and action film, simply enjoying each other's company. Midoriya blinked, the tips of his nose and dotted cheeks blushing. "I'm sorry for staying around so late. I really shouldn't have..."

"Don't mind. It was a really good movie." Todoroki's grin seemed to widen at Midoriya's flustered apology and deepened the blush across his cheeks.

Midoriya returns his version of a grin, sheepish and faint, when a despondent mewl reaches his ears. Looking down he gazes longingly into the eyes of Darling, a fluffy white haired Persian. "Oh, I'm sorry Darling," he croons affectionately, bending down to comfort his four-legged friend. "Don't worry, I'll be back tomorrow. I promise."

Darling rubs her squarish head against his cheek, mewling in her disappointment. Midoriya gives her a small scratch behind the ears before running his hand down her fluffy back and chuckling as she arches into it. "That's a good girl. I'll be treats tomorrow. How's that?"

At the promise of cat treats the white Persian meowed. This got a chuckle out of both males. Returning back to his human friend, Midoriya flashes a light smile down at him. "I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Well, you sort of promised Darling. And you know  how she hates it when you break your promise."

"Yeah, I know." Midoriya chuckles behind his hand as he makes his way over to the door, Todoroki and Darling following in suit. All three of them stop at the front door as Todoroki unlocks it. Darling does a figure 8 in between Midoriya's legs, marking her scent around the light denim.

The green haired man bends down to give her one more departing scratch behind the ears before turning to leave. "Would you like me to walk you to your car? It's pretty dark out, and there's some shady figures living inside here."

Midoriya laughs while shaking his head. "Thanks, but no, I'll be fine. I parked close to your building, so I think I'll make it before I get jumped by any 'shady figures'." He added quotes in a joking form of emphasis that had Todoroki smirking. Midoriya stands in the doorway for a few more moments, gazing into Todoroki's multi-colored eyes and losing himself within him, before a jolt of reality zaps him back down. "Ah, right, leaving..."

He turns and walks out into the breezy night, Todoroki and Darling following him behind. "Goodnight, Midoriya," Todoroki calls at him. "Goodnight Todoroki, goodnight Darling," Midoriya answers back, Darling meowing in answer. Todoroki steps back inside, Darling going in after him to call it a night.

God doesn't even know how the drunken blonde made it back to his apartment complex, but it doesn't even matter. Staggering out of his car Bakugou stomps into Building D, his heavy steps raucously echoing in the middle of the night. He traipses across the opened hallway, unaware of someone approaching from in front in the same direction he was going.

They collide head-to-head and once again, Bakugou is thrown on his ass. "Huh, what the fu-"

"Oh my gosh, are you alright, mister?"

His assailant was at his side immediately. Bakugou blinked; the lighting was just as poor as it was in the club. The old and blinking golden bulb illuminated half the face of the person that bumped into him, a young man with tiny freckles dotting his cheeks and bright emerald eyes brimmed with worry.

Bakugou blinked again, confused at the display of concerned emotions. "Are you alright? Did I hit you too hard? It'd be really bad if you hit your head! You didn't hit your head, right?"

His numerous amount of questions dispelled the sense of confusion within him and was instantly replaced with anger. "Eh, get the fuck out of my face shitmunch!"

Slapping away the offered hand of assistance, Bakugou rolled onto his unsteady feet and marched on, ignoring the look on the other man's face.

He scanned the tiny golden plaques on the dark gray doors in search of numbers five hundred and sixty-nine. When he finally reached it, he yanked the knob, nearly wrenching it off its hinges.

It opened easily.

Huh?  He vividly remembered locking it after Kirishima walked out, or did he walk back in because he forgot something? Must have forgot to lock it right after. Whatever. Dismissing the complexity Bakugou stomped into his living quarters and maneuvered his way to the bathroom.

For some reason the bathroom wasn't in the same place he last remembered it. It was directly across from his room, but when he opened the door to walk in, he saw no toilet, sink, or shower. The fuck?  There was a light stir inside the room but he ignored it as he searched blindly for a toilet.

It was the very front of the hall. "Who the fuck moved my fucking bathroom?"  he angrily hissed while switching the lights on. Too drunk to realize that this wasn't his bathroom, he used it and flushed and then left for the kitchen. That was in the right spot at least; right beside his living room. He walked into the kitchen to look for something quick to eat, opening up the refrigerator and surprisingly finding it full of food.

"The fuck is this?"  Bakugou questioned aloud while grabbing a container of lo mein noodles. He popped open the lid and smelled the cold noodles, surprised that they didn't smell bad at all. Shrugging, he slammed the refrigerator door closed and shoved the noodles into the microwave loudly and pressing the re-heat button.

As they cooked he walked over to the TV in the living room and turned it on, sinking himself low into the couch. The ending credits of a movie was playing with a timer at the very bottom, along with the length of the show. Looking at the upper left hand corner, Bakugou noticed that it was Netflix instead of Hulu.

Did I download Netflix? I thought I deleted it?  He went to the main menu just as his noodles finished cooking. Getting up to retrieve them, he searched for a cold drink and was disappointed when there weren't anyone to be found. "I'm pretty sure I keep my drinks in here, so why the hell are there fucking spices in this cabinet?"

He slammed the cabinet door shut and stomped back to the living room, mumbling incoherently. He sat down to begin eating his noodles when he realized that he didn't have a fork, so he got back up to get one its respective drawer and cursed when there were only wooden spoons instead.

He found a pair of chopsticks in what would be his spoons drawer and took it back to the living room. Choosing a random B-rated movie, he sat down to enjoy the flick along with his meager dinner.

When it was 1:30 he pushed the devoured noodles aside and stretched out on the couch, wriggling out of his jeans and pulling his shirt free. He had gotten comfortable on the comfy cushions, which was funny because his couch was usually unbearable. And it didn't smell like a cat's asshole, he mused.

The B-rated movie was still going on when he began to doze off. Waking up because of the A/C kicking on, he found a throw blanket lying draped over the back of the couch and wrapped himself in it, then turned the TV off. Slurred visions filled his mind as he finally began to sleep off the alcohol in his system.
