Chapter 1: Bouncing accidents
Chapter Text
Tigger was doing what Tigger usually do, bouncing around, however he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings, when suddenly, he heard Kanga shout.
"Tigger watch out!" Kanga yelled out in panic.
Tigger then looked to see a craft table that was made for Roo-boy. He tried to move around to try and change his directory, but alas he failed. The tiger braced himself for impact, only to feel someone grab him from mid-air. He slowly opens his eyes only to Kanga holding him bridal style, with a soft yet stern expression.
"Hehe nice catch there mama." Tigger said, nervously. "Talk about mother's intu-petition, am I right?"
"Now Tigger, that was very reckless of you." The kangaroo scolded the tiger.
"Sorry, I didn't see where I was going." Tigger said, looking guilty.
"And you know what I said after the last time, right?" Kanga asked, looking rather sad.
Tigger looked down saying nothing. He knew what was coming. The spanking rule. To explain this after they decided to call kanga mom for mother's day, except for Owl and Roo for obvious reasons. She came up with this after Christopher Robin accidentally revealed it to kanga a few weeks ago. The rule was simple you get three strikes, and if you get three strikes, you get spanked.
(As for the first and second time, let's just say he wasn't around glass for a bit.)
"Alright let's get this over with." Tigger said, already feeling the tears coming.
"Alright dear, you know what to do." Kanga said, sitting down putting her lap.
Tigger sulked as he lays over her lap, putting his hands behind back to grab his tail to move it out of the way. Kanga raised her arm for the first smack.
"Tigger, I hope you know this hurts me more than this hurts you." Kanga said, before landing the first smack.
"Ow!" Tigger yelped out.
Kanga kept smacking the orange backside, alternating cheeks.
"Owwwww, mama it hurts." Tigger whines, tears threating to pour out of his eyes.
"I know it hurts Tigger, but trying to hold out for bit longer." Kanga said, gently.
The smacks continued for five minutes after the tiger became a sobbing mess. She lifted Tigger into her arms, and began rocking him back and forth.
"Shh, shh." Kanga shushes Tigger, gently. " It's okay, it's over now."
Tigger sobbed loudly as he clung to the kangaroo like a koala, muttering sorries as the tears poured out of his eyes. The comfort continues for 10 minutes before the tiger's sobs became soft hiccups. Kanga stood up carrying Tigger like a baby.
"Cmon let's get you a nap, if that's alright Tigger?" Kanga suggested.
Tigger wordlessly nodded his head yes. The kangaroo took Tigger inside the house and put him in Roo's bed, who was hanging out with the others at the moment. She tucked him in started humming, and patting his head. Tigger rubbed his head against kanga's paw, feeling tired. Tigger closed his eyes and fell asleep.
Kanga softly gave him a kiss on his head, gently leaving the room. She quietly giggled, Tigger was happy and cheerful, but he could be quiet the handful.
Chapter 2: Stewing in the seeds of anger
Summary:
Rabbit is facing corner time for hurting Tigger. Kanga just wants him to apologize.
Notes:
Yeah Rabbit is going to be OOC. I feel like he wouldn't lash out at Tigger, but I feel like he has at least thought of these things.
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
Rabbit scowled as he faces the corner of his living room, glaring heatedly at the wall. He couldn't believe he was here, and why he was. It was because-
"Now Rabbit," Kanga gently chided. "You know exactly why you're here."
Rabbit turned around to glare at her, only to wilt underneath the soft, yet stern glare.
"But I learned my lesson." Rabbit said, softly.
"And what was this lesson?" Kanga asked in a motherly tone.
Rabbit thought back to how he got here.
(Flashback 1 hour ago)
Rabbit was humming a tune as he dragged the garden how against the his fifth row of vegetables. He could feel the exhaustion creep in his body as he was almost done with the garden. However his blood ran cold as he heard a sound he dreaded most. Bouncing.
Tigger was coming, and the rabbit started to drag the hoe even faster than before, until it was too late. Tigger has bounced all over the ground damaging his garden. Tigger looked the yellow rabbit with a cheerful expression, oblivious to said rabbit's anger.
"Hey Rabbit ol' pal." Tigger greeted cheerfully. "How are-"
"YOU BOUNCING BUFFOON!" Rabbit yelled angrily. "DO YOU REALIZE HOW LONG THIS TOOK FOR ME TO MAKE THIS GARDEN!? I WAS GROWING FOOD FOR FUTURE CELEBRATIONS, AND YOU JUST HAD TO RUIN EVERYTHING!!! DO YOU ENJOY TORMENTING ME!? DO YOU ENJOY SMASHING ALL MY HARD WORK!!"
"B-but-" Tigger stuttered, before the rabbit cut him off.
"NO BUTS TIGGER, ALL YOU DO IS CAUSE TROUBLE FOR ME, AND I AM TIRED OF IT! ITS NO WONDER YOUR THE ONLY TIGGER, THEY PROBABLY ABANDONED YOU BECAUSE ALL YOU DO IS CONSTANTLY ANNOY EVERYONE!!" Rabbit ranted, running out of breath.
Tigger just stood stunned, his expression full of guilty, Rabbit felt somewhat satisfied. Before he noticed that there here, oh no, were those tears? He then felt a sharp tug on his ears.
"Ahh who is-" Rabbit yelped, turning his head. Only to find Kanga, Roo, and Christopher Robin looking disappointed in him.
"Ah mother, I-" Rabbit tried to speak only to get interrupted by Kanga.
"Rabbit, you're in enough trouble as it is." Kanga said, sternly. " I wouldn't think about making it worse."
Rabbit immediately closed his mouth. He was the taken into his house for corner time, while Roo and Christopher comforted Tigger.
(Present time)
Rabbit now felt guilty, now that he thought about it. He was upset about the garden, but he didn't mean the things he said to Tigger. He looked at Kanga, and finally answered
"Not to say things that could have lasting consequences" Rabbit answered. "I'm sorry mom."
"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to." Kanga said, pointing out the window.
Rabbit nervously walked out the door afraid of what Tigger would say to him.
"Hey Tigger." Rabbit said, looking guilty.
"Yeah?" Tigger said softly.
"Look I'm sorry about what I said earlier." Rabbit said putting his paw into Tigger's. "I was just mad about my garden being ruined."
"It's fine." Tigger said, "I know how hard you were working on this."
"But still, if there is any way I could earn your forgiveness, I'll do it." Rabbit said.
"Alright then." Tigger said, before suddenly tackling Rabbit to the ground.
"Tickle fight!!!" Tigger yelled, playfully.
Rabbit couldn't help but giggle at the sudden tickle attack, before he, Roo and Christopher Robin joined in on the tickling. Kanga watched from the window of Rabbit's house with a relieved expression. Sometimes her boys could have big fights like this, but all it takes is a bit of motherly love to help patch them up.
Notes:
If you made it to the end, so yeah I apologize for making Rabbit OOC, I'll trying to write the next character in-character as much as I can.
