Chapter Text
Gojo Satoru is, irrefutably, the strongest.
But sometimes, even the best struggles on some things. Like, for example: picking the perfect cake and the perfect gift for his favorite girl.
Hm, vanilla or strawberry? What to pick, what to pick...
Caramel is fine, too. Uh, mocha? More strawberry? Should he order a macha flavored cake?
"Urgh..." He, the strongest, is clutching his head because there are so many delicious choices. Besides, looking at all those cakes is rousing his desire to eat one himself.
Or maybe, he should just eat her instead.
Should he ask Nanamin?
No.
He must do this himself. For her.
It's her birthday after all. The most special day of all. And he doesn't want to be outdone by others at the school who also wanted to surprise her.
He's the strongest, therefore he must also be the reason for her greatest joy.
"Have you decided on what to buy, sir?" The lady behind the counter asked, snapping him from his thoughts. He scanned the cakes that were on display and finally decided.
"Well," He grinned, snapping his fingers, "I'll take one of everything!"
Money is never a problem for him so he doesn't mind spending. He doesn't mind at all, especially if it's for her.
"Oh, and add another strawberry cake~" One can never go wrong with an extra strawberry cake.
"To whom do you want to address it, sir?"
Gojo Satoru smiled, his expression softening, "Write: Happy Birthday, my dear [reader]."
'My dear [reader]...
No amount of words can describe how much I appreciate you.
I appreciate that no matter what had happened, you stayed. Always loving me, even when I took my last breath. Even when someone doubted me as the strongest, you always believed in me.
I'm sorry for causing you so much pain, sorry that you have to suffer because I was too confident in my own strength. I'm sorry that I was distracted.
I wish for you to have everything that you will ever need. Know that no matter what happens, I'm always here, just waiting for you to read.
We will meet again and again, if you so desire; in different worlds, different timelines, different me, and in an entirely different story. I'm there, and so were you.
Thank you for not leaving me.
Thank you for always being there. Always.'
