Total Drama Mixed Island

Summary:

Total Drama Island, where it all started. Except this time, it's with a different cast. Characters from every generation of Total Drama and even Disventure Camp are here. What will happen with this shuffled cast? Find out now on Total Drama Mixed Island!

Chapter 1: Not So Happy Campers Part 1

Notes:

Greetings everyone, my name is Shiro, and this is a brand new series that I am doing. Total Drama Mixed Island!

Here’s how it’s goin’ down. I used a random number generator to decide the cast for this season, and it is basically a rewrite of Total Drama Island but with a different cast. I did take some liberties with the cast, usually just replacing some characters with others that would work better as a substitute, but for the most part, I stuck with the cast I got from the random number generator.

This cast will include characters from Island, ROTI, Pahkitew Island, the Reboot, and even Disventure Camp. I didn’t include Ridonculous Race, because while it probably wouldn’t be difficult to write some of them in this story, I just kinda wanted to leave RR as its own separate thing.

Also, to make things less awkward, I raised the ages of the TD Campers to eighteen, and kept the Disventure Camp Characters the same ages. So everyone is an adult.

Without further ado, it’s time for the first chapter. Hope you all enjoy.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

The shot opened up to a crummy, worn-down dock. Behind the dock was a lake and pine-covered hills.

"Yo!" A man in his late twenties would rise into shot. "We're coming at you live from Camp Wawanakwa, somewhere in Muskoka, Ontario! I'm your host, Chris McLean, dropping season one of the hottest new reality show on Television, right now!"

The shot cuts to Chris walking across the dock. "Here's the deal: 22 campers have signed up to spend eight weeks right here at this crummy old summer camp." He reached the end of the dock, stopping next to a cheap-looking sign that said 'Wawanakwa'. "They'll compete in challenges against each other, then have to face the judgment of their fellow campers."

"Every three days, one team will either win a reward, or watch one of their team members walk down the 'Dock of Shame', take a ride on the 'Loser Boat'," Chris chuckled for a second as a signboard showing a picture of the boat dropped down on ropes, "and leave Total Drama Island for good."

The shot cuts to a bonfire pit, with a group of eleven tree stumps to serve as seats. "Their fate will be decided here, at the dramatic campfire ceremonies, where after each challenge, all but one camper on the losing team will receive...a marshmallow." Chris walked up to an oil barrel with three un-toasted marshmallows on sticks lying on top of it. The host picked one up and ate it. "In the end, only one will be left standing and will be rewarded with cheesy tabloid fame." He revealed three magazines, all the same issue, with his face on the cover. " And! " He dropped the magazines and held up a prop treasure chest full of gold coins. "A small fortune, which, let's face it, they'll probably blow in a week."

"To survive, they'll have to battle black flies," the shot switched to a swarm of insects being swiped at by a bear, "grizzly bears," the same bear, now roaring menacingly at the camera, " disgusting camp food," a bowl of what appeared to be some sort of insect larvae suddenly said "Hey now!", "and each other."

The camera faded to more shots of camp, beginning with a picture of a bird feeding its hatchlings; in the nest was a camera. "Every moment will be caught on one of the hundreds of cameras situated all over the camp." An out-of-place totem pole with another camera duct-taped haphazardly to the top. The scene then changed back to Chris at the dock. "Who will crumble under the pressure? Find out here, right now, on Total...Drama...Island!"

(Theme Song)

“Welcome back to Total Drama Island!” The shot cuts back to Chris standing on the dock. “Alright, it’s time to meet our 22 campers. We told them they’d all be staying at this five-star resort, so if they seem a little T.O’d, that’s probably why.”

A boat that had just arrived dropped off the first contestant before driving away, prompting the first new contestant to wave goodbye at it. “Zee, what’s up?” Chris greeted him.

“Chris, my man! High five!” Zee offered a high five to the host, who accepted it. “Yo, where the other campers at?”

“You’re the first to arrive, dude.” Chris pointed to the other end of the dock. “Go stand there while we wait for them.”

As Zee walked to the other end of the dock, another boat dropped off the second contestant. “Alec, how’s it going?” The host greeted.

“Hello.” Alec took a second to look at his surroundings. “Have I been tricked? This place looked different on the application form.”

“Yo dawg, this is it, Camp Wawanakwa!” Chris replied as Alec took a book from his backpack and walked to the end of the dock.

“Should have known this was a scam.” Alec said as the next camper arrived.

“Hey, Gwen.” Chris said to the next contestant.

The goth girl looked around her surroundings, taking note of the non-luxury campgrounds. “You mean we’re staying here?

Chris shook his head, “No, you’re staying here. My crib is an Airstream with A/C thataway.” Chris pointed in the direction with his thumb.

Gwen got up in Chris’s face. “I did not sign up for this.”

Chris took out Gwen’s contract. “Actually, you did.” Gwen, in response, snatched the papers from Chris and ripped them up before dropping them in the lake. “The great thing about lawyers is,” the host revealed a second stack of papers, “they make lots of copies.”

“I am not staying here.” Gwen picked up her bags.

“Cool, I hope you can swim though,” the boat would drive away, “because your ride just left.”

“Jerk!” Gwen grunted.

The next boat arrived, dropping off a pink-haired girl. “Hey everyone, I’m Natalia Biaz! Puerto Rican and proud!”

“Good to have you, Natalia.” Chris welcomed her.

“It’s really nice to meet you, Chris. I saw those old movies that you made. God, what terrible masterpieces those were.” Natalia giggled, embarrassing Chris.

Chris pointed to the other side of the dock. “Please stand over there. Thank you.” He demanded, passive aggressively.

Natalia walked to the other end of the crummy dock, taking a look at Gwen. “Hey girl, I love your hair!”

“Uh, thanks.” Gwen accepted the compliment.

“Everyone,” Chris called out, “this is Julia.”

The camera panned over to a blonde girl taking a selfie with the departing boat in the background. “Growing! My Journey Begins!”

“Uh, Julia, did you read the contract?” Chris asked.

Julia shrugged in indifference. “Nah, I skimmed through it.”

“Well-” Before Chris could continue, Julia slung an arm over him before taking a selfie with the annoyed host.

Julia typed away at her phone before sending the selfie she had just taken with Chris. “Alright, now what were you saying?”

“Yeah, the contract states that you’re not allowed to have a phone on the island.” Chris told her.

“But, how am I supposed to grow as a person if I’m not telling my Facebook friends I’m growing as a person?” Julia questioned.

“Very easily.” Alec chimed in.

Chris held a box toward Julia. “Please deposit all phones into this box.”

“Ugh, fine.” Julia put her phone into the box.

“Good. Now all your phones.” Chris persisted. Julia retrieved two phones from the pockets of her shorts and one from her top, dropping them into the box. “Thank you. Now, I will be keeping these in my control room. I’ll make sure to return them after you're eliminated.”

“Bye, babies.” Julia spoke softly. “Don’t worry, Mommy will be back for you.”

“Wow, obsessed much?” Gwen snarked.

As another boat drove off, the camera cut to the next camper, Heather, taking off her shades as she walked to the other campers. “Heather.” Chris says as she walks past him.

“Yo, what’s up, dude?” Zee offered a high five to Heather, but she wouldn’t accept it, instead glaring at Zee.

Before Heather could say anything, everyone suddenly heard K-pop music. The camera cut to the arriving contestant, Yul, who tossed his luggage off the boat before jumping off and landing on the dock.

“Yul, welcome to Total Drama Island.” Chris welcomed him.

Yul scanned the rest of the island, disgusted with how it looked. “What am I looking at? Did you steal this island from a homeless man?”

“Nope. Got it just for this show.” Chris answered.

“This place is disgusting! ” Yul turned angrily at Chris. “You promised me a five-star resort, you son of a-”

“Watch your mouth, Yul!” Chris warned him. “We’re on TV and we don’t want too much censorship. It’s a real pain for the people who edit the episodes.”

“Seriously?” Yul grumbled.

Chris nodded. “Seriously.”

“Then kick me off this show!” Yul demanded. “I don’t want to stay on this island any longer than I need to.”

“Hey, if you want to give up the chance to win one hundred thousand dollars, be my guest.” Chris said.

Yul sighed. “ Fine. ” The Korean boy walked over to the rest of the campers, eyeing Zee, Natalia, Gwen, and Julia. “Wow, these are some of the people you brought in?”

“Excuse me?” Natalia said, annoyed.

“Well, at least one person here doesn’t look like a complete idiot.” Yul smiled at Heather. “Meet you by the campfire, gorgeous.”

“Drop dead, you skeeze.” Heather spat.

Another boat parked near the dock, and an athletic girl would leap off, doing multiple flips midair before landing perfectly on her feet, impressing a few there. “This is Sky.” Chris introduced her to the campers.

“Girl, you’ve got some skills!” Natalia complimented the Olympian. “I hope you’re on my team.”

“Thanks.” Sky thanked her. “I’m actually an aspiring Olympian.”

“Dude, that’s cool!” Zee turned to Alec before whispering, “What’s an Olympian?”

“An athlete who competes in the Olympic Games.” Alec answered. “Or, to put it in simpler terms, someone who will be good in physical challenges.”

“Oh…” Zee drew out. “20 bucks on that girl.”

The next ship came and went, dropping off the next camper.

“Welcome to camp, Kai.” Chris greeted him.

Kai looked around, observing the island. “So, this isn’t at some resort?”

“Ugh, I know, it sucks doesn’t it?” Yul groaned.

“Not at all.” Kai said, making Yul look at him puzzled. “I actually very much appreciate that we are on an island surrounded by nature.”

“Why?” Yul asked.

“Nature is one of the most beautiful things on earth.” Kai claimed. “The lush green grass, the crystal clear waters, the beautiful trees. It all creates such a wonderful atmosphere.”

“I like this guy.” Zee said.

Yul scoffed. “Yeah, I wonder why.”

“So, you’re a fellow nature lover? I’ve gotta get a picture with you!” Julia stepped beside Kai, but before she could take a selfie, Chris took her phone and deposited it into his box, much to Julia’s annoyance.

“Contestant number ten is Trent.” Chris introduced the next camper, who carried a guitar case with him.

“Hey, good to meet you, man. Saw you on that figure skating show, nice work.” Trent fist bumped Chris.

“Hey, thanks man. I knew I rocked that show!” Chris bragged.

“I saw that.” Sky said. “One of the guys dropped his partner on her head. Though they got immunity that week.”

“Wow.” Zee uttered in amazement. “I hope I get dropped on my head one day.”

“Are you sure you weren’t already?” Heather asked.

“So, this is it?” Trent asked, looking at the other contestants. “Alrighty then.” He walked over to the others, giving a smile to Gwen.

Three bags would be thrown off a boat that had just arrived, and then the next camper would jump onto the dock with a suitcase in his hand. “Yo, crazy-Shawn, what’s up, man?”

Shawn looked at the other campers, and his eyes widened in fear when he saw Gwen. “ZOMBIE!” He threw his suitcase at the goth, knocking her into the ocean below.

“Hey, what’s the big deal, man?” Trent asked.

“Can’t you see? That girl is a zombie!” Shawn freaked out. “We need to hide now before she resurfaces!”

“Easy tiger.” Chris put a hand on Shawn’s shoulder. “I can assure you that none of our contestants are zombies.”

“How do I know you’re not a zombie?”

“Do I look like a zombie?” Chris pointed out.

Shawn would grab Chris’s arm, taking a big sniff of him. “Hm. Well, you don’t smell like a zombie. So I will believe you for now.”

“Uh, okay.” Chris replied, weirded out by Shawn’s zombie-phobia.

Trent offered a hand to Gwen, who wouldn’t accept the help, and she herself climbed back onto the dock with an annoyed expression.

“Okay, we all met zombie-boy; can we get on with the show, please?” Heather said impatiently.

“Looks like someone missed their double cappuccino macchiato this morning.” Natalia quipped.

“Get bent.”

“Well, that makes 11. Time to introduce the next half of the cast.” Chris said as a boat drove away after dropping off another contestant. “Our next camper, Dan.”

“Hi Chris.” Dan greeted him as he scanned over the island. “As I predicted. Coming to a five-star resort sounded too good to be true. So I made sure to come prepared for this.”

“Smart kid.” Chris complimented him. “Looking forward to seeing what you have in store.”

Dan walked over to the other campers, standing next to Alec. “Hey, what are you reading?”

“A book about survival.” Alec answered. “I brought many different books with me, and luckily, I happened to own one of these.”

“Looks like I have competition then.”

The next boat would arrive, and the next camper would wave to those on the dock. “What’s up y’all, LeShawna’s in the house!”

“Glad you could make it.” Chris welcomes her.

LeShawna struts her way across the dock. “Yo baby! Hey, how you doing?” LeShawna high-fived Chris as she looked at the other contestants. “Feel free to quit now and save yourselves the trouble, ‘cause I came to win.”

“I hear you, girl!” Natalia fist bumped LeShawna.

“Happy to see another fierce player. We need more in case of a zombie apocalypse.” Shawn claims.

“A what now?” LeShawna responded, confused.

“Ignore him.” Gwen grumbled.

“Everyone, meet the next camper, Ellie.”

The boat left after dropping off Ellie. “Hey Chris, thanks for accepting me onto this show. I kinda need that money.”

“Glad to have you, Ellie.” Chris told her.

Ellie walked over to the other campers, standing beside Shawn. “Uh, when’s the last time you had a shower?”

“Seems like you’re an amateur in zombie survival.” Shawn claimed, making Ellie raise an eyebrow in confusion. “Here’s a tip: when the zombie apocalypse eventually happens, cover yourself in dirt and garbage. That way, the zombies might think you’re one of them, because you’d smell like the undead.”

“Uhh.” Ellie uttered, weirded out.

“And if a zombie does bite you, make sure to cut your arm off immediately. It won’t take very long for you to become a zombie.” Shawn advised.

“Thanks?” Ellie walked away from Shawn, choosing to stand beside Dan. “What a weirdo.”

“Tell me about it.” Dan rolled his eyes, annoyed with Shawn’s zombie obsession.

The next contestant stepped onto the dock, walking past Chris without even greeting the rest of the campers. “Tess, welcome to your new home for eight weeks.” The host welcomed her.

Tess stood beside Ellie without saying a word.

Another boat arrived, dropping off the next contestant. “Yo, Scott, what’s up man?”

“This is the island, huh?” Scott smiled upon seeing the filthy island. “Feels just like home.”

“Do you live in the forest?” Kai asked.

“No.” Scott answered. “I live on a farm.”

“Great, we have a farm boy.” Yul complained. “What’s next, a cosplayer?”

The Korean would soon regret his question when the next boat dropped off a guy wearing a wizard's robe.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Yul grunted.

“Leonard, how’s it going?” Chris greeted him.

“Salutations, Christopher McLean! With all the spells I know, I believe I will win the 100 thousand dollars.” Leonard boasted. “Of course I normally wouldn’t need it, but my spell to create money hasn’t worked lately.”

“That’s rough, buddy.” Chris gestured over to the other campers. “Go stand over there. Weird out the other people.”

“There is no way this guy is a real human being.” Gwen quipped.

“You got that right. This guy is delusional!” Shawn agreed.

“Dude, are you a real wizard?” Zee questioned.

“Yes, I am.” Leonard nodded.

“Sweet, man.”

The next contestant walks off the boat. “Meet Mary Kate, also known as MK.”

“If this is what you consider a resort, you have extremely low standards, Chris.” MK insulted him. “But, whatever, I’ll manage.”

“You won’t need to worry about that anyway. I am working on a spell to make this island better!” Leonard informed her.

“Tell me when you think you’ve finished it, so I can watch you fail.” MK walked over to the other campers.

“Hey there, Nick.” Chris greeted the next camper. “Weird seeing someone like you here.”

“I have my own reasons.” Nick informed the host as he joined the other campers.

Natalia looked at Nick curiously. “Hey, aren’t you the cousin of Dakota Milton?”

“Why yes, I am.” Nick confirmed.

“Uh, who?” Gwen asked.

“Fame-obsessed rich girl. Loves the paparazzi. Won a lot of beauty pageants as a kid.” Nick described her. “Long blonde hair. Green eyes. Loves the color pink.”

“Still have no idea who you’re talking about.” Gwen told him.

“Whatever. Point is, I have money.” Nick reached into his pocket trying to pull out a stack of cash, but he couldn’t find it. “What the… I just had bills in my pocket!”

“Hm, wonder where they went.” MK smirked, suspiciously having her hand in the pocket of her jacket.

“And here comes Courtney.” Chris pointed at the approaching boat.

Once the boat arrived, Chris offered a hand which Courtney took and stepped off the boat. “Thank you.” Courtney approached the other contestants, waving at them. “Hi. You must be the other contestants. It’s really nice to meet you all.”

“H-Hey there.” Scott smiled at Courtney. “My name's Scott.”

“Nice to meet you, Scott.”

“Yeah, I know.” Scott flexed his muscles. “I’m really amazing, aren’t I?”

“And here’s the show's first romance.” MK snarked. “I’m honestly disgusted.”

The next boat dropped off the second-to-last contestant. “This is Alessio.”

“Greetings, Christopher. Thank you for bringing me here.” Alessio looked around at the island, a smirk appearing on his face. “Perfect. This island is absolutely perfect for painting!”

“Aren’t you that artist guy who made that weird painting called ‘Ocean’s Shadow Dance’?” Julia questioned.

“Weird? How dare you call my art weird!” Alessio replied, offended. “My paintings are magnificent! Astonishing! Stupendous! Oceans Shadow Dance is a piece that invokes soul, passion, a tether between the careless chaos of the observable universe and the existential human perspective in relation to nature’s core set of laws!”

“I’ve never seen whatever this painting is, but your description of it makes it sound pretty weird.” Dan claimed.

“Hey everyone, Izzy!” Chris announced the final camper.

“Hi Chris!” Izzy waved. “Hi! Hi!” As she ran off the boat, she tripped on the railings, falling off and bumping her chin on the wooden dock, knocking her into the water.

“Dude! That looked gnarly!” Zee gave a thumbs up.

“Guys, she could be seriously hurt.” Courtney ran over to the end of the dock and helped Izzy back up.

“That felt so…good!” Izzy said enthusiastically. “Except for hitting my chin. This is summer camp! That is so cool! Do they have paper mache here? Are we having lunch soon?”

“That one is definitely a zombie!” Shawn was ready to pounce, but Sky and LeShawna both held him back.

“Settle down, Shawn. We need a group photo for the promos.” Chris explained. “Everyone at the end of the dock!”

The contestants all lined up at the end of the dock, as Chris hopped onto a boat with a camera.

“Okay! One, two, three…” Chris paused for a moment. “Oops! Okay, forgot the lens cap.” The host then pressed a button to remove said cap. “Okay, hold that pose! One, two- Oh! No wait! Card’s full! Hang on…”

LeShawna rolled her eyes. “Come on man, my face is starting to freeze.”

“Got it!” Chris announced. “Okay. Everyone say Wawanakwa !”

“Wawanakwa!” The campers shouted out as one before the dock collapsed. Chris still managed to take the photo of all the campers struggling in the water.

“Okay guys, dry off and meet at the campfire pit in ten!”

Chris would be standing at the bonfire pit, looking at the twenty-two campers, some seated on tree stumps, others standing by them.

"This is Camp Wawanakwa, your home for the next eight weeks!" Chris began. "The campers sitting around you will be your cabinmates, your competition, and maybe even your friends, ya dig? The camper who manages to stay on Total Drama Island the longest without getting voted off will win one hundred thousand dollars!"

“What will the sleeping arrangements be?” Scott asked. “Are they co-ed?”

“No.” Chris answered. “Girls get one side of each cabin, and dudes get the other.”

Heather turned her head to Scott. “Let me guess, you only asked that because you wanted a bunk under her.” The queen-bee pointed at Courtney.

“I’m a farm boy, not a pervert!” Scott replied, offended.

“The heck’s the difference?” Yul smirked as Scott glared at him.

“Am I allowed to sleep outside of the cabins?” Kai requested. “Resting alongside nature helps balance my circadian rhythm.”

“Uhh, sure. Whatever helps you literally sleep at night.” Chris allowed.

“I’ve got to share a cabin with a bunch of dudes who could turn into zombies at night?!” Shawn freaked out. “You’re crazy!”

“This cannot be happening.” Gwen grumbled.

“At least you won’t need to sleep next to him.” Dan looked over at Leonard who was trying to cast a spell on a deer.

“Here’s the deal! We’re gonna split you into two teams. If I call your name out, go stand over there.” Chris pointed in the direction. “Gwen, Trent, Heather, Scott, Nick, Natalia, Sky, Shawn, LeShawna, Alessio, and Alec.” He tossed a green banner towards Scott. “You are offically known as…the Screaming Gophers!”

“A gopher huh?” Scott smiled. “Nice.”

“The rest of you, over here!” Chris told the remaining campers. “Zee, Ellie, Dan, Kai, Tess, Izzy, Courtney, Leonard, Yul, Julia, and MK.” He listed. “Move! Move move move!”

“Just my luck to be stuck with the ‘wizard’.” Dan said in air quotes.

“Yes, you are very lucky indeed.” Leonard bragged, much to Dan’s annoyance.

Chris threw a banner to Izzy. “You guys will officially be known as…the Killer Bass!”

“That is so totally cool!” Izzy exclaimed.

“Yeah, it feels really nice to be compared to a fish.” MK snarked.

“Alright campers!” Chris got their attention. “You and your team will be on camera in all public areas in the competition.”

[Confessional Chris]

"You will also be able to share your innermost thoughts on tape with video diaries, anytime you want. Let the audience know what you're really thinking." Chris winked. "Or, just get something off your chest!"

[Confessional Gwen]

“Umm, okay…so far this sucks.”

[Confessional Julia]

“This confessional stinks. But I suppose it will be useful for me whenever I’m starting to get annoyed with the rest of my team.”

[Confessional Alec]

“I didn’t want to comment on my team when it got revealed so that I don’t make any enemies.” Alec stated. “But now that no one can hear me, I shall give my thoughts. This team is screwed.”

[Confessional Loon]

Strangely, a loon was applying lipstick to the end of its bill.

[Confessional Tess]

“So, the producers told me I had to say at least one word in this episode.” After Tess finished her sentence, she stood up and left the outhouse.

[Confessionals End]

“Alright any questions?” Chris asked before immediately saying. “Cool. Let’s find your cabins!”

The scene changed to a shot of two cabins “Gophers, you’re in the east cabin, and Bass, you’re in the west.”

Heather was the first to enter the girls side of the Gopher’s cabin. “Bunk beds? Isn’t this a little, summer camp?”

“That’s the idea genius.” Gwen walked past Heather.

Heather scoffed. “Shut up, weird goth girl.”

Outside of the Gophers cabin, Alessio would be painting a picture of said cabin.

Trent walked up to the painter. “Hey man, aren’t you gonna check out the cabin?”

“I will enter after I finish this painting.” Alessio told him. “Do not interrupt me.”

“Alright man, you do you.” Trent entered the boys side of the cabin.

“Hey host man!” Yul shouted from the Bass’ cabin stairs. “Where are the electrical outlets? I have things I need to plug in!”

“There are some in the communal bathroom, just across the way.” Chris referenced the bathroom building.

“Excuse me? Communal?! ” Nick repeated.

“Yep. Have fun sharing, man.” Chris snickered.

“Pssh, big deal. Me and my brothers share a barrel back at home.” Scott revealed.

“Well not all of us are gross farm boys like you.” Heather spat.

“Excuse me Chris, is there a chaperone of any kind in this facility?” Courtney spoke up.

“You’re all at least eighteen years old.” Chris said. “So, other than myself, you’ll be unsupervised. You’ve got a half an hour to unpack and meet me back at the main lodge. Starting…” he looked at his watch. “Now!”

“Hey guys.” Kai said to the guys of the Bass. “Come check this out.”

Kai led the Bass guys into their cabin and he showed them a cockroach on the floor.

“Seriously, this is what you wanted to show us?” Dan crossed his arms.

“Yes.” Kai confirmed. “Isn’t it beautiful?”

Yul responded by crushing the bug underneath his shoe, much to Kai’s horror. “ That is what I think of your stupid bug-friends, hippie.”

Kai looked at Yul angrily. “You are a really bad person.”

“And you are a really weird person.” Yul fired back.

“I hate to agree with you, but…” Dan looked over Zee and Leonard. “He’s not the only one.”

“He has a family, he has a wife! Now bring this cockroach back to life!” Leonard chanted, trying to revive the cockroach.

“Dude, can bugs actually get married?” Zee questioned.

“Many insects engage in various courtship rituals to attract mates.” Kai explained. “So, while the concept of marriage isn’t as traditional for them, many insects exhibit mating behaviors that could be considered romantic.”

“Cool.” Zee gave a thumbs up, making Yul roll his eyes.

[Confessional Yul]

“God, my team is stupid as-...” Yul groaned in annoyance. “I hate being on TV.”

[Confessionals End]

On the girls side of the Bass cabin, Julia would be putting a vase of flowers on a stool next to her and MK’s bunk. “So much more aesthetic now. Flowers always make my soul feel happy.”

MK noticed a phone in Julia’s back pocket and she snatched it from her. “Yeah, I’m much happier now.”

[Confessional MK]

MK was moving the camera until she noticed it was filming. “Oh, sorry, hi!” She chortled. “Not here to confess, I just want to see how the confession camera works!” MK yanked out the USB cord. “Boom baby! Alright, here’s the deal. I’m gonna use the phone I took from Julia to download and watch everyone else’s confessionals!” She plugged the cord into the phone and it began downloading. “Oh, and just to be clear, I only want to hear what everyone else is saying. I’m gonna fast forward through them using the bathroom! I’m not a weirdo.”

[Confessionals End]

As Courtney was unpacking her stuff, Izzy was doing a handstand while holding up two plates with her feet. “And this isn’t even the only thing I can do! I can also touch my tongue to my eyeball! Well, I’m able to wrap my tongue around my head like a turban, but I don’t think you’re all ready to see that.”

“I’m not ready to see you do that first thing, thank you very much.” Courtney tells her.

“Well, you have approximately three seconds to prepare!” Izzy claims.

Ellie stood up from her bed. “I am not going to be here to see it then.” She left the cabin.

Courtney turned to look at Izzy. “Izzy, I swear to God.” The camera would focus on Courtney’s disgusted face as it could be heard from off camera that Izzy in fact touched her tongue to her eye.

[Confessional Courtney]

“That is just gross.”

[Confessionals End]

Tess would be sitting alone on a log, drawing a picture. Ellie walked over after leaving the cabin. “Hey, do you mind if I sit down?”

“I don’t mind.” Tess replied.

Ellie sat down on the log next to Tess, taking note of her notebook. “Hey, what are you drawing?”

Tess showed her the picture she was working on. It was a well-drawn picture of a garden.

“That looks amazing.” Ellie smiled. “You’re a good artist.”

“Thanks.” Tess thanked her. “Drawing is one of the only things I’ve ever had motivation to improve on.”

“I enjoy drawing, but it’s not something I’ve ever been able to put a lot of effort into.” Ellie claimed.

“You have time now don’t you?” Tess reminded her. “I can help you get better if you wish.”

“I’d appreciate that.”

The scene cuts to the mess hall, where the campers were all listening to Chef. “Listen up! I serve it three times a day! And you will eat it three times a day! Grab your trey, get your food, and sit your butts down NOW!”

“Excuse me, will we be getting all the major food groups?” Nick asked from the frontline as Chef dropped a slop of meat on a bun. “Because I get low blood sugar if I don’t get enough sweets.”

“You’ll get a whole lot of SHUT THE HECK UP!” Chef shouted.

“Wow, he needs to take a chill pill.” Scott smirked.

“What was that?” Chef called out. “Come closer farm boy! I didn’t hear you!”

“Uhh, I-I didn’t say anything.” Scott let out a nervous laugh as he took his tray and left to his table.

“I’m sure you didn’t.” Chef glared as Shawn stepped forward, grabbing a tray of food. “You! Scruffy kid! Gimme your plate!” Shawn allowed the intimidating cook to add another scoop of meat onto his plate. It somehow clung back to the scoop, and Chef had to throw it down again.

“You didn’t poison this, right?” Shawn asked.

“Ask me any more stupid questions, and maybe I will!” Chef threatened.

Leonard looked at the disgusting food on his tray. “I have just the spell for this!” Leonard took out his ‘magic’ stick and shook it a few times, attempting to turn his food into something better. It however didn’t work for obvious reasons. “There’s something wrong with my stick.”

“Here, I think I know what’s wrong with it.” MK took Leonard’s stick, proceeding to whack him in the head, breaking the stick and knocking the boy out. “It’s broken.”

“NEXT!” Chef yelled.

Ellie and Gwen were the next two in line. The orange-haired girl sighed as the slop of meat hit her plate. “Well, it’s not like I’ve not had struggle meals worse than this.” Ellie took her tray and left.

Gwen turned to Chef. “Okay, I hate to be predictable and complain on the first day, but I think mine just moved.” Upon hearing this, Chef smashed the food with a hammer, splattering both of them. “Right. Okay then.” Gwen took her tray and left.

The campers were now all eating, though one of the pieces of meat was now crawling on the floor.

While they were eating their terrible food, Chris entered the building. “Welcome, to the main lodge.”

“Yo, dude. Can we order a pizza?” Zee questioned before Chef threw a meat cleaver past him, which hit a wall. “Right, got it.” Zee smiled as he opened up a soda, completely unfazed by the fact that a cleaver was just thrown past him.

“Your first challenge begins in one hour!” Chris announced and exited the mess hall.

“What do you think they’ll make us do?” Julia asked.

“It’s our first challenge, girl.” Natalia answered. “How hard can it be?”

The scene cuts to the campers in their swimsuits, standing on top of a 1000-foot-tall cliff, looking over the edge.

“Oh (BLEEP)!” Natalia swore.

“So she can say it and I can’t?” Yul complained.

Notes:

And that’s episode one finished. Obviously this was only the introduction episode, so no elimination. However, I’m sure you all can guess that there will be one in the next chapter.

This was fun to write. It’s my first time working with Disventure Camp characters, so writing for them was a nice experience, and I think all of them are pretty enjoyable to write. Honestly, majority of these characters in general are fun to write, probably helps that I’ve written for some of them before.

-What do you think of the cast?

-Who do you think will be the first boot?

-And what romances and rivalries do you think will happen?

I will see you guys next update!
