Inspired by the 1998 Parent Trap movie

Notes:

This is very loosely based on the Parent Trap. It was so much fun to write, I laughed, I cried, I had lots of feelings. The story is complete as I post the first chapter, but I am going to follow a posting schedule. Maybe, we will see. Lol I might get excited and just go ahead and post it all.

Just like in the Parent Trap, Draco has someone, Hermione does too. I am sorry but they are both likeable, so no shenanigans with the significant other's and the kids. It has both of their relationships shown for a little while, hang in there. I hope you love it.

Chapter 1: In or Out?

Chapter Text

“Oh fuck! Malfoy, don’t stop!” Hermione cried. Pushing her arse back. Malfoy gripped her hips tightly as he pounded into her over and over again. “Please, harder!”

“Granger! Can you shut the fuck up for once in your life!” He roared even as he did as she requested.

“Fuck you Malfoy!” She said with a frustrated groan.

“I am!” He yelled back, gripping her tighter.

Hermione was only dimly aware of how she’d gotten here. Well, she knew how. She didn’t know why though. She hated his fucking guts. He was so full of himself. She giggled, she was full of him too. Godric, Granger. Pull yourself together. She was drunk. That’s how it happened. Not so drunk that she didn’t have all her faculties. But drunk enough to lower her inhibitions and for her anger to turn into lust.

“Granger!” She heard him behind her. She tried her very best to focus on what he was saying, but the feeling of him moving in and out of her swiftly as she was on all fours kept distracting her. “Granger! In or out? You need to tell me now!”

In or out? Oh!  She realized what he was asking.“In! Fuck, in please!” she cried. He yanked her up by her hair and with a tight hold around her middle, his other hand finding her clit. A few tight circles and she was spasming around him. Screaming. Then he came with a growl, pumping into her. She felt it, hot and slick. But he kept going, fucking it back into her. He released her and she fell forward onto the bed, breathing heavy. He fell beside her and rolled onto his back.

“Well, shit.” He said on an exhale. “That was…”

“Don’t…I don’t need that. We aren’t doing that. This was fun but that’s it. I don’t plan on ever seeing you again, Malfoy. So please just don’t.” She gasped out.

She felt the bed shift as he stood. She heard him put his clothes on, the clink of his belt, then her dorm room door open and shut. Well fucking fuck. She’d fucked Draco Malfoy. What had she been thinking? She hadn’t of course. Her friend tequila was thinking. Still, it had been a good time, so she wouldn’t regret it. She was an adult, they’d all been through a lot. So what if she wanted to have a little casual hate sex?

2 Months Later.

So what indeed. Hermione sighed as she sat on the bathroom floor in Grimmauld place staring at a positive pregnancy test. Well shit. She stared blankly, unsure of how to feel. She knew she wanted kids in the future. But she had always imagined having a career first, being married, and being in love with the man. And the man certainly would not have been Draco sodding Malfoy. Oh tequila how you betrayed me.

Suddenly a sob ripped out of her throat. She screamed. Screamed for her unknown future. She laid over on the floor, crying. Shoulders heaving. She was dimly aware of fast footsteps coming up the stairs and then in the hall.

There was a pounding on the door. “Mione! What’s wrong? Are you okay? Please open the door.” Harry. Her friend Harry. Oh gods he would be disappointed in her, he didn’t know about her one night stand with Malfoy. It didn’t mean anything. It was the last night of their eighth year at Hogwarts. A last hurrah. Just a bit of meaningless sex. And she should be allowed that shouldn’t she? Apparently not.

She’d locked the door, but Harry kicked it in. He was on his knees gathering her into his arms and making shushing sounds. “Mione what’s the matter? How can I help?” he asked.

That only made her cry more. Then she felt a wave of nausea. She ripped herself out of his arms and leaned over the toilet heaving. He held her hair back and waited. When she finally stopped, he stood up and she heard the water turn on. Then he was on the floor again, pressing a cool cloth to her face and pulling her back into him.

“Eat something bad?” He asked with a chuckle.

She shook her head weakly. She fumbled around the floor on the other side of her to find the pregnancy test. She picked it up and shoved it in his direction.

“Wha- Oh. Oh!” He said in shock. “How?”

She snorted “Harry, I am not explaining that to you.”

“No, I just mean when and who?” He clarified as he took the test delicately between two fingers, avoiding touching the end.

“I don’t want to tell you.” She cried, burying her face in his chest.

“It isn’t Ron is it? I’m sure he would…” He began.

She shook her head. “No.” she mumbled into his shirt.

“Come on Mione, it can't be that bad. Unless…shit it’s not McClaggen is it? I might disown you.” He laughed lightly at his own joke, then quieted, hoping he wasn’t right.

“No, it's worse than that. Oh Harry I fucked up, I really fucked up.” She began to sob again.

He continued to rub her back and rock her back and forth until she’d calmed down again.

She took a deep, shaky breath. “It’s Malfoy.”

“Haha, that’s a good one. He might be the only person I can think of worse than McClaggen.”

She looked up at him and when she didn’t laugh he paled. Shaking his head slowly.

“You can’t be serious, Hermione. Malfoy? How the hell did that even happen?” He looked at her in shock.

She sniffed and pulled away from him again. She wiped her nose on her sleeve and her tears away with the back of her hand. She took a deep breath. “Well it was the last night of school. When we were all drinking you know. We ran into each other in the hallway and we started bickering. Like always. Gods, he’s such a twat. Anyway, I was drunk and I got in his face, yelling at him. When he was yelling back, he backed me into the wall. I felt his…well he was hard and it caught me off guard. And the tequila spoke to me like a little devil whispering in my ear. Then it just…happened. I haven’t spoken to him since.”

Harry shuddered and made a fake gagging sound. “Okay. Okay. It’s alright. He might be a twat but he isn’t a monster. I’m sure he would help, certainly Narcissa would want to.” Harry said reasonably.

Hermione nodded, her initial panic receding.

“And Hermione, you always have me. I’ll be here for you. You can stay here as long as you want. I’ll help.” He said firmly. “You’re my best friend and I’d never let you do this alone. I’ll be fun Uncle Harry. If you want to keep it that is. You still have a little time to decide don’t you? I mean it’s only been two months.” He said thoughtfully.

“I do want to keep it.” She said, surprising herself. She sniffed again “Thank you Harry.” She leaned over and hugged him.

He hugged her back. “You’re going to have to tell him though you know.” He said.

She cringed at the thought. She didn’t think she’d ever have to see him again, let alone for this. She nodded against Harry’s shoulder. Stealing herself to her task.

So here she was, a few weeks later, laying in a hospital bed at St. Mungo’s. Malfoy stood in front of the window with his arms crossed over his chest. He’d hardly spoken to her. When she’d sent him an owl asking to meet for coffee, she didn’t think he would show. When she told him she thought she was going to faint. At first he didn’t believe her. Then he was angry. She’d argued that she didn’t want to be attached to him anymore than he wanted to be attached to her.

Now here they were, waiting for the healer to come in to run diagnostics. She attempted civility. At least he was here. He very easily could have turned her away and wanted nothing to do with it. But he’d insisted on paying for everything and being a part of the process. They were yet to reach a friendly stage. They’d need to work on that.

The healer came in. “Hello hello, my happy parents to be.” She smiled brightly. “Let's see we have…oh. Ms. Hermione Granger and… Mr. Draco Malfoy…” She trailed off in confusion and looked at them, laughing nervously. “Yes, well. Let's get started shall we?”

The healer pulled out her wand and began running diagnostic charms over Hermione’s entire body then centered them around her middle. Manipulating them, looking intently. “Hmm.” She said thoughtfully.

“What?” Hermione said, panicked. “What’s wrong? Is something wrong?”

Malfoy stepped over, concern etched on his face as well she noticed.

The healer smiled. “Oh no not at all. Two very strong heartbeats.”

“I’m sorry. Did you say two?” Malfoy said.

Hermione’s ears were ringing. Surely she hadn’t heard that correctly. She looked at the healer and then up at Malfoy. His own eyes were wide. His arms hung limply beside him. Then he started to sway.

“Malfoy!” Hermione cried. “Draco! Snap out of it! Gods you can’t just faint every time. Get your shit together.” She said angrily.

He took a step backwards, falling into the chair behind him. The healer was in front of him with a cup of water and a potion. He took them from her without acknowledgement. “Two? You said two. Twins? Twins don’t run in the Malfoy family. Granger do they…twins.” he finished quietly.

She stared at him and he stared back. The healer was speaking but neither of them seemed to hear her. They stared at each other in horror.

Hermione knew one thing for sure. She would never be drinking tequila again as long as she lived.
