The Collector was bored, he had been bored for awhile now. Every star and every planet started to look the same, maybe it was time for a change of scenery. Maybe they could visit king or Luz, but the people of the isles were still scared of him. He had apologized, why were they still scared, maybe he could visit earth. He would have to check with Luz first, she did say that earth didn’t have magic. He didn’t want to scare the humans too.
The isles looked no different than the last time they had seen them. He flew towards the Owl House while looking for King or Luz. He greeted Hooty as he landed.
”Hi Hooty, have you seen Luz?
”I think she is at the university of wild magic. Hoot hoot!”
”Okay! Thanks Hooty.”
He waved goodbye to Hooty as he started to fly towards the university of wild magic. Taking a moment to slow down he noticed how the palistrom saplings were starting to grow into proper trees. The scars left from Belos were starting to heal. He sped up as he noticed the university peeking over the horizon.
”Hi Luz! Hi King!” They yelled exited.
”Collector! I didn’t know you were visiting.” She said as she wrapped them up in a hug.
”Yeah, last time you visited was a few months ago.” King said while kilingning to their leg.
”I was boored… the stars are so empty” They said as they lazily floated above the ground.
”Is there anything you would like to do?” Luz asked softly.
”I want to visit the human relam or what do you guys call it… earth?” He looked at Luz questioning, smiling when she nodded.
”I want to visit earth!” He repeated confidently.
”How about we talk with mom first?” Luz said a hint of nervousness in her voice.
”Okay.”
Camila looked at the collector sternly.
”Are you sure this is a good idea?”
”Yes! I am bored, I want to make new friends.” The collector insisted.
Camila sighed and shook her head.
”Okay but first we have to go through some rules, okay?”
”Of course, I’ll be the best at following the rules ever!” The collector exclaimed.
”The most important thing is that you can’t use your powers, you have to look human.” Camila said sternly.
The Collector nodded.
”You also need an actual name so that you can blend in with the other humans, does that feel okay?”
”Yeah, do I get to choose my own name? Because if i do I want to be called Collie!” The Collector Collie said almost bouncing up and down in excitement.
”Collie it is then.” Camila said smiling.
”Another problem is that you are look like a child, children can’t go anywhere alone without adults on earth.” Camila continued.
”Maybe I could use a puppet? Before you tell me that I can’t turn people into puppets, what if I use a doll?” The collector said as they looked up at Camila.
”That could actually work…” Camila said deep in thought.
”Let me call Luz and we can finish talking about this together.” Camila said while reaching for her phone.
When Luz had arrived we had polished up my human disguise and went over some other things that I should be aware of. Luz had given me one of her Azura dolls to reanimate, she told me about some of her favorite heroes and about some city I should stay away from Goth-ham? I think. Luz and Camila walked me to the bus station, we are going to some city called Metropolis. Waving goodbye as the bus drove away I suddenly noticed how tired I was, a little nap couldn’t hurt right?
I woke up when the driver started yelling, as I looked around I noticed that the atmosphere had shifted. Everyone was tense the air looked wrong, looking out the window I saw a sign that said Gotham street pizza. This was not good I ended up in the one city that I wasn’t allowed to go to.
