"The “Kidnapping” Chronicles of Izuku Midoriya."

Summary:

Izuku Midoriya is so painfully, earnestly kind that even villains can't help but like him. When the League of Villains kidnaps him, expecting to break the spirit of All Might’s protégé, they instead find themselves sharing tea, discussing life goals, and getting unsolicited emotional support.

UA labels it as a "security crisis."
Toga calls it a “sleepover.”
Dabi claims it’s “just vibes.”
Izuku? He's bringing homemade cookies next time.

Genre: Crackfic / Comedy / Hurt-Comfort / Found Family (with a dash of chaos)

Chapter Text

    *Operation: Kidnap Deku*

0500 hours. Outside UA, just before dawn.

Izuku Midoriya was walking back to the dorms after a long night of studying. The streets were quiet, shadows stretching out like lazy cats. The city hadn’t quite woken up yet.

As he turned a corner, he spotted a small group huddled in a narrow alley. They were trying very hard to look inconspicuous—which made them stand out even more.

He squinted. “...Oh. Villains.

There was a pause as he stared, and they stared back.

He sighed. There were still a few early commuters out. If he made this a scene, someone might get caught in the mess.

So he took a steady breath, adjusted his backpack, and walked straight toward them.

“Good morning,” he said politely. “I’ll come quietly. Just… let’s not do the whole dramatic showdown thing, okay?”

**Inside the alley, the League of Villains was mid-meeting.

Shigaraki scratched at his neck, glaring at the smeared whiteboard labeled *Operation: Kidnap Deku*. It had bullet points like *“Get rope???”* and *“Don’t let Toga drive.”*

Spinner tapped the marker against his hand. “We really should’ve planned this better.”

Compress tried to sound authoritative. “Let’s stay professional.”

Toga raised her hand. “Do we get snacks on this mission?”

Dabi, watching the alley entrance, cut in. “Uh. Guys?”

Izuku walked up slowly, both hands raised like he was approaching a lost dog.

“I’m not here to fight. Just figured it’s easier for everyone if I cooperate.”

He pulled out his phone, casual as ever.

“I can text Aizawa-sensei and tell him I’m not dead. That way, no panic attacks. For him or me.”

The League stared at him like he’d grown a second head.

Toga tilted her head. “Can I have some of your blood? Just a teensy taste?”

Izuku frowned. “That sounds... medically concerning. You might want to see Recovery Girl.”

Dabi blinked. “Is this kid for real?”

Twice whispered, “He’s too gentle. We’re the bad guys, right?”

Shigaraki muttered something unintelligible, still trying to wipe whiteboard marker off his glove.

Izuku nodded toward the swirling portal behind them.

“I’ll just go ahead then?”

No one stopped him.

Dabi muttered, “This is either a trap or he’s the protagonist.”

**Later, inside the League’s hideout.

The silence was almost louder than the portal’s hum had been.

Izuku sat calmly, taking in the sparse surroundings.

“Is the fridge always this empty?” he asked, peering inside.

“You’re a hostage,” Shigaraki replied flatly.

“Sure,” Izuku said. “But you still need proper nutrition.”

Within minutes, he was chopping vegetables like he owned the place.

“I can make a big pot of miso soup. Something easy. And maybe show you how to pack bentos?”

Toga had a notebook out. “Wait, what spice did you just use?!”

Compress sighed. “Next thing you know, we’re running a food truck.”

Izuku smiled faintly, stirring the pot.

“Could be worse. At least food brings people together.”
