"You know, Ven,"
Venice looked at his papa, hearing that they are currently sitting for their breakfast, his twin brother & dad already left for the day. Venice's classes are gonna be held a little late today so he was sitting with his papa & enjoying his breakfast.
"Yeah..." Venice said.
"I was thinking about someone" Pete said.
"That's not good khun Pete. Dad's gonna get all jealous if he finds out you are thinking about someone else and not him." Venice chuckled.
Pete holds a glass full of water & pretend to throw it on Venice but Venice raised his hands in surrender.
"Time out! Time out!" Venice chuckled. "What were you saying?"
Pete sighed.
"I was saying that I was thinking about someone..."
"About who?" Venice replies shoving a bread into his mouth.
"About Varain" Pete said.
Venice got startled & for the first time he got interested in this whole conversation.
"Varain as in Rain? My best friend Rain?" Venice asks.
"Do we know someone else other than your best friend & my favorite son Rain? You are becoming an idiot day by day Ven Ven." Pete said shaking his head.
"Okay, okay, sorry... what about him?" Venice asked curiously.
"You know, ever since his parents went to South Korea, I always treated Rain as my own son"... Pete said.
"I don't want him as my brother though." Venice said quickly.
Pete again holds the glass of water.
"Okay, okay, my mouth zipped for sure this time." Venice replied.
"Rain always treated me like his own papa & more than that, he shares all the things with me. Everything, you know, and recently..." Pete paused. "He told me that he likes someone."
Venice jolted... he looked at Pete... shocked.
"H-he is my best friend... h-he didn't tell me anything about it." Venice stammered.
"I can understand why he didn't tell you." Pete said.
"Why." Venice asks firmly.
"It's because you know that person." Pete replied.
"I know?" Venice asked in disbelief.
"Yeah... he likes one of the Theerapanyakuls. So, you know that person." Pete said smiling.
Venice looked down silently.
"So, I am really happy after hearing that. I always wanted Rain as my son. Son in law & son is just the same. I am thinking of why don't us elders discuss about the marriage. What do you think?"
Venice keeps silence for some moments.
"You can't marry him off to Saifah!" Venice said firmly looking at his papa.
Pete kept looking at him silently for some moments.
"Why can't I marry off my Rain to my son Rome?" Pete asked.
"It's just... just... you can't..." Venice said looking down.
"I need a reason for that Venice." Pete replied.
"R-Rain isn't good for Sai." Venice replied immediately.
"And why is that?" Pete asked.
Venice looked at Pete.
"You know papa, Rain isn't good for Sai at all... he-he... he is a playboy... yeah." Venice tried to convince his papa.
"He is a play boy... he flirts with both boys and girls. He is beautiful... and-and-"
"So, he is beautiful, that's why he isn't good for Rome?" Pete asked tilting his head.
"N-no... not that. He won't love Saifah, ever. Believe me. He is in an infatuation or something. He just doesn't love Sai. He just fools around. I am his best friend. I know." Venice replied quickly..
"Hmm..." Pete hummed. "That will be really difficult then... he won't be good for my son then..." he replied.
"I know right" Venice said excitedly. "Just, don't marry them off."
"Still, I can't do anything about it Ven Ven. You know I still love Rain & the whole family is involved already. I can't destroy the friendship among our families. Elders need to talk about this marriage. We have to settle things down soon."
Venice kept looking at his papa like a kicked puppy.

Rain was practicing his dance in his private dance practice room. His dance performance is coming in a month. So, he was practicing his heart and soul out when Venice came in and took him out holding his hand, almost dragged him out.
"Phayu! Where are we going? God! I almost tripped" Rain said confusedly.
Venice took him to the rooftop. When he reached there that's when he let go off Rain's hand.
"God, Yu. What happened? Why did you take me here? "Rain asked.
Venice kept silent for sometimes looking anywhere but Rain.
"Papa told me everything." Venice said turning & looking at Rain.
"Everything?" Rain asked confusedly. "Oh god! Am I thinking about the same thing!!! Why can't papa keep anything secret! God!" Rain said shaking his head. "Okay, Phayu, Listen, okay? I know I should have told you this first but I just wa-"
"You can't marry my brother" Venice said cutting Rain's word in the middle.
Rain looked at Venice with his mouth wide open. "Huh?"
"Yeah. You can't marry my brother." Venice said firmly.
Both remained silent for a long minute.
"Why not? Am I not right for your brother? Don't I deserve him?" Rain said smiling.
"It's not you, it's my brother who doesn't deserve you." Venice scoffed.
"And why so?" Rain asked smiling.
"He doesn't love you. He has so many girlfriends. He isn't loyal at all. He doesn't stick to anyone. He keeps changing his partners. He will end up cheating on you if you get married." Venice said firmly, trying all his best to convince Rain.
"Is that so..." Rain smiled. "I will change him with my love then."
"You can't." Venice said shaking his head.
"Look there are lots of advantages if I marry him. I am your best friend and we will be always together. We can stay in a home together. We can play video games all the time and I don't have to go to your place to call you out, you will be just at my own home. We can hang out together, have lots of fun if I marry your brother. That will be totally beneficial for our friendship." Rain said smiling.
"I don't want you to ruin your life. He won't love you..." Venice said, looking down, sadly.
"But what can I do Phayu, this heart fell for a Theerapanyakul. I can't help it. I want to marry him. Let's see where the future takes us." Rain said smiling brightly.
Venice looked at him. He felt like crying.

"Saifah!"
Venice said entering Rome's room.
His brother looked at him.
"Hey phi, what's up. You have anything urgent? I am about to go out though. Rome replied.
"No! I have to talk to you. Right now." Venice said firmly.
"Umm... okay... what is it?" his brother replied
"You can't marry Rain." Venice said looking down.
"Umm... papa told me about this marriage. Why can't I marry him? I like him, so much."
"He isn't good for you." Venice replied immediately.
"Is that because he is a playboy? Or has so many relationships? It's okay Yu. I can manage. I will love him so much that he will forget all about his other relationships." Rome smiled.
"Sai! How can you say that! Nope! I don't approve. He is not right for you." Venice said with a pout.
"Oh, come on! He is the only one right for me, you know. I am so gonna marry him. I only want him. He is the right one." Rome replied.
Venice looked at him sadly. Then turned around to leave.
"Yu..." Rome called Venice.
Venice turned hearing that.
"Tell my soon to be husband that I said 'Love you."
Rome said brightly smiling.

"That's not done uncle! How can you approve Rain & my brother's marriage?"
Venice said barging into Tharn's garden, where he was watering the plants.
"Hello to you too Ven." Tharn said smiling. "Why are you looking so angry?"
"Your choice is really bad uncle. How can you choose my brother for Rain?" Venice scoffed.
"Oh, that. Your papa called to inform me about the marriage proposal. I was really happy to hear that. My son made a good decision." Tharn replied.
"Good decision? My brother isn't good for him at all!" Venice said whining.
"None can do son. Rain himself made the decision, and you know I will never go against his decision because I know my Rain drop is a wise kid. I will support him this time too. H e loves a 'Theerapanyakul. He will be married to a Theerapanyakul'. We elders are gonna go and meet up your house tomorrow. See you there, buddy." Tharn said smiling.
Venice was at the verge of crying.

Venice was lying on the rooftop, alone, looking at the big sky.
Rain and his dad came to their house half an hour ago. Rain's pa Type would not be there since he was still stuck with his work back in South Korea.
As soon as they entered, Venice came up here. He doesn't want to be a part of that marriage planning.
It hurts. It hurts so much that it feels suffocating. Rain and his brother are getting married. Even thinking about it makes Venice feel a sharp pain in side him. He needed some air to get rid of that suffocation, so he came up here.
"What are you doing here?"
Venice got startled hearing the voice. Hearing Rain's voice always calmed his heart, but this time it felt more painful inside.
"N-nothing. Just needed some fresh air." Venice said looking at the sky.
Rain walked closer & sat beside Venice on the floor. This place, here, they spend a lot of time before. Good old days, good old memories. Thinking about them, Venice felt like crying right now.
"They are talking about my marriage down stairs." Rain smiled.
Venice didn't say anything. Tears rolled down from his eyes.
"Do you think I look good with your brother?" Rain said smiling.
Venice kept silence for a long time.
"I... I told papa & Sai that you are a playboy." Venice said in a flat tone.
Rain looked at him... then smiles.
"Playboy? I don't remember getting in a relationship ever. Or fooling around. Did I ever do something like that?" Rain said chuckling.
"No." Venice replied firmly. "You would never... you are the purest person I have ever seen. You are beautiful in all ways."
"Yeah?" Rain said softly.
"I even told you Sai is fooling around, when he is not that type either. He is a nice person... a very good person." Venice replied.
"I know." Rain smiled. "I have known him since my childhood, so, I know that already. But..." Rain looked at Venice smiling... "Why did you do that?"
Venice didn't reply.
"I didn't want you to marry him." Venice replied after that.
"And why so?" Rain asked.
Venice kept silent... probably was organizing his words.
"Because I am the one who knows you more than anyone, I am the one who knows what you like, what you dislike. I am the one who can tell anything before you speak... because..."
"I am the one who likes you. I should be the one marrying you, not Sai. GOD! Everything is messed up now." Venice said covering his eyes. He didn't want Rain to see his tears.
"Were these words so tough that you took this much time to say it out loud?" Rain said firmly.
Venice took his hands away from his eyes. "What do you mean?"
Rain sighed looking at him.
"Couldn't you say this before, that you like me? Why did you take this much time, stupid?" Rain scoffed.
Venice sat on the ground, dumbfounded.
"Why does it matter? You are gonna marry Saifah anyway. So, it doesn't matter if I said it before or not." Venice said trying to control his tears.
"I said I will marry him to whom?" Rain asked.
Venice looked at him confusedly.
"To papa?" He replied.
"I never told papa Pete I want to marry Saifah. I told him I want to marry a Theerapanyakul. His idiot son "Venice Theerapanyakul." Rain said firmly.
"Huh?" Venice said confusedly. "But papa said-"
"Papa told me. He only said that I like a Theerapanyakul and you assumed its Saifah. He was pulling your leg. You are too quick in stupid things, but can't figure out that I like you, idiot." Rain scoffed.
"I didn't break my hand with Sai, it is you whom I did something like that. I didn't save a puppy from drowning with Sai, it was you whom I saved that little puppy. I didn't left my home at night to see starry sky with Sai, it was you whom I did something like that. I didn't put tons of love letters in Saifah's locker, I put them in your locker. Then why would I like him? I definitely like this stupid Theerapanyakul." Rain said pointing at Venice.
"Wait! You were the one who put all those love letters?" Venice said in shock.
"See... You can't even recognize my handwriting. And you said you know me the most. I shouldn't have fell in love with you in the first place." Rain said in irritation. "I was even dying to marry you before you go to America, but you just... agh!!!" Rain whined.
This is the very first time, smile lingers in Venice's lips.
"So, you like me." Venice said smiling.
Rain made a hopeless expression on his face.
"No! I like Saifah." Rain scoffed.
Suddenly Venice pulled Rain in his embrace.
"Don't say that, don't say you love someone else. I loved you for so long. I can't give you to anyone else. I am gonna keep you for me forever." Venice said squeezing Rain in his embrace.
"I love you too idiot. You don't have to give me to anyone else. I am gonna stay besides you." Rain replies.
"God! This is like a dream." Venice said softly.
"Yeah..." Rain smiled. "Let's go down stairs to tell them what we want. I want to marry you."
"I want to marry you too." Venice said standing up and holding Rain's hand. Before start walking, Venice again embraced Rain tightly.
"What happened?" Rain smiled at Venice.
"Nothing... just wanted to hug you before making my dreams come true GOD! I love you so much Rain. Let me live this moment a little more." Venice replied softly.
Rain didn't say anything, but wrapped his hands around Venice.
"Let's live this moment together."
