Rebooted Hearts

Summary:

Before the war tore Cybertron apart, you lived in peaceful, quiet, distant, and far from the noise and politics of Autobot and Decepticon ideologies. An introvert by nature, you preferred the hum of your own thoughts to the clamor of battle.

But war has a way of reaching even the most secluded corners of the planet. As the conflict escalated, both factions took notice of you, not just for your unique skills but for something deeper. Some bots came with pleas, others with threats, and a few with dangerously obsessive affection.

Reluctantly, you chose the Autobots, aiding in critical escapes and operations that earned both admiration and unwanted attention. But fate had other plans. When the Autobots and Decepticons crash on a distant world called Earth, everyone is deactivated, entombed in silence for millions of years.

Now, awakened in a strange new era, you find yourself in the middle of the war once more. The Autobots still fight for freedom. The Decepticons still hunger for control. But both sides seem equally willing to battle for your heart, and not all of them play fair.

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

It was a quiet day on Cybertron. Well, where you're from, it was on the quiet side of the planet, it was always peaceful. Mechs, femme's and other bots always get along with each other in harmony.

The creators of this planet had created many bots on this planet. Workers, movers, and others that will help create society for everyone. When your creator made you, they made you have the ability to make specialized weapons that will help yourself in different situations.

They also made you their partner when it comes to science, creating things and discovering things that would help the both of you. But that didn't last long.

A sinister group had formed within these vorns, the Decepticons. The sound of gunfire and lasers were fired all over the planet, bodies dropping to the ground or would float in space for all eternity.

Your creator had told you that you had to go into hiding, informing you about a place where no one bothered to go in. It's been vorns since you seen them. The blood-thirsty group wanted power, they wanted war. As time passed, a new faction had to be made, a group of individuals.

The Autobots.

They needed to fight back, wanting their freedom back from the cybertronians that took it from them. They were able to hold them back, but they weren't strong enough. The Decepticons had discovered a new way to overpower the people on the planet. By transforming.

You see, the bots on Cybertron can transform into an alt-mode where they can become a vehicle, plane, helicopter, or train. But they're some other groups that can transform into other things.

Such as weapons, like guns, rockets, speakers, tapes. They all come in different shapes and sizes that will help themselves to it. As for you, your alt-form is a hoverbike, a form that's able to travel quickly in the air, it's quiet, and can gather information.

You were still to yourself, having a place that was quiet and unbothered by the war that was going on. You have security cameras and weapons that will help you defend yourself by the people that are at war.

When the war was getting dangerous, most of the autobots had to retreat, meaning that they had to hide in the area where you lived. You were kind of upset, but at the same time, you understand their choice.

Ever since that happened, you had to upgrade everything. Hidden cameras that were built inside of the walls, a stun gun inside the door in case someone tried to break in. You even had to upgrade some parts of your appearance.

You were glad that none of those were activated on the side that wanted freedom. But it did happen to those who were part of the decepticons. Some would try and break in, and you were already ready for them.

You couldn't even count how many you've disabled; their broken parts would float endlessly in the dark abyss called space. But there've been some mechs from both sides that have been asking you to come join their sides.

Autobots that want to have you on their side to help them gather info on the opposite group that will help them overthrow the enemy. With the decepticons, you knew that they only needed you for your strategies and weapon creations.

But there have been some that try to butter you up into joining, and there have been some that were actually genuine about joining a side. If you had to join either side, it would be the autobots automatically, but you weren't focused on that, just yourself.

Right now, you can be seen sipping on a glass of energon, playing some sort of game on your data pad. You would swirl the glass of the liquid, the colors that would mix and separate themselves. This liquid can be used for so many things.

You can consume it, build with it, study it. You even bleed from it, too!

It somewhat reminds you of the cybertronians that used to unite with each other, but then they would separate. It has to be exhausting, you pondered. Imagine having someone you know dearly to you, having someone that you loved dearly to your spark.

Only for them to end up on the opposite side. Away from you.

You liked living by yourself, the wave of anxiety always made you ready for when another individual is at your door or when a wave of decepticons would raid this area. You wished that you could move, but where would you go?

More than half of this planet was already raided and destroyed. If there are still parts that haven't been touched, it's probably going to be stormed the next few solar-cycles. Downing the glass, you let out a heavy sigh.

Maybe you should charge for the night, but that would be a risk of someone breaking in. Your dimmed optics blinked, placing your head against the wall. The only thing that was lit in your dark home were small, neon lights that give some sort of aesthetic to your place.

The sound of someone knocking on metal made you direct your gaze towards the front door. 'Who could that be...?' you thought, a small, irritated frown stretched on your faceplate. Pressing a button on your data pad to open the cameras, you see a short, yellow autobot.

Emitting a sigh of relief, you trudged out of your berth, walking towards the metal door. Pressing a few buttons, your metal door slid open, revealing the autobot who wore a small grin and holding a block of energon, you loomed over him in height.

"Hey, Bumblebee," you greeted with a low, gentle tone. "Delivering another block, I see. How've you been?" The short autobot chuckled, giving the glowing to you.

"I'm doing good, just delivering these cubes to the people that are still at home." he replied. Bumblebee was a scout for the autobots, the red symbol plastered proudly on the center of his chassis.

He's been one of the individuals that have been trying to get you onto the autobots side, but you could never find yourself to join them. "How about you?" he asked politely, watching you place the cube of energon inside your home.

"I'm alright," you sighed, your optics glancing over the autobot to make sure no one was watching or trying to pull off sneak attack. "How's Optimus?" your question caused the autobot to smile brightly.

"He's been doing good. He's been recruiting some autobots for his team, with my help as well. Right now, we have at least ten mechs in our team, they've been a great help." he responded. You let out a small hum, seeing that Optimus was still alive and fighting well.

He was one of the people you knew before the war, but he used to go by Orion Pax. While he was a dock worker, you were assisting your creator in their creations. You both chimed into a small conversation, catching up on things that've been happening.

Talking to Bumblebee made you feel at ease, the feeling of always keeping guard always exhausted you to the point where you couldn't recharge. You then hear something in your audials, making you quickly glance your optics upwards.

A light scowl formed on your derma when you see a certain tri-color seeking flying overhead, it was noticed by Bumblebee as you quickly placed your optics back. "Is everything alright?" he questioned, his bright blue optics held a concern glint in them.

You decided to comlink him, not knowing if the seeker can read dermas. ::There's a Seeker flying around. Don't look up.:: you quietly informed with a firm tone. His optics slightly widened, quietly giving you a slight nod.

::Alright, I'll talk to you soon. Be careful out here.::

Nodding, your metal door quickly closed, nearly slamming it shut. The feeling of anxiety slowly builds up in your chassis, striding your way to your room and face planting on your berth. 'Will this war ever end?'

Sighing heavily, you sat up, grabbing your pulse baster. It was a weapon that can short-circuit any bot. Placing it down on your pillow, you laid your helm on it too. Your dim optics became half-lidded, slowly feeling drowsy.

Placing the blanket over your frame, you slowly offlined, hoping to get some rest.

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

A few solar-cycles had passed. You were in your alt-mode, flying near the safest area that you can find to get some supplies. It was quiet as usual, some cybertronians and autobots were sort of rushing to get supplies, needing to hurry in case any decepticons arrive here to start trouble.

Transforming into robot-mode, you paced your way towards the items you needed. The sound of sparkling can be heard in the distance, they're probably hungry or scared about what's happening.

Getting a few energon cubes, you checked out your items with the right number of credits. Once you were finished, the sound of bots panicking started to rise, but you didn't hear hurried footsteps, they're frozen with fear.

Taking the chance, you turned your helm, finding not one, not two, but three decepticons who were causing this. Your optics first found the infamous, tri-colored seeker, Starscream. He wore a smirk on his derma, his gaze immediately meeting yours, as if he was waiting for you to turn around.

Behind him was the rest of his trine, a blue seeker named Thundercracker and the black and purple seeker being Skywarp. He stood there behind the leader of the trine with a bored expression, while Thundercracker just waved at you. He must've dragged them here.

"Hello, Starscream." you greeted lowly, already wanting to go home.

"Hello to you too, [Name]." he lightly mocked, slightly looking downwards as his red optics glowed in delight. He was taller than you by a few inches. You see, before the war, you were sort of like rivals. He was a scientist as well, having creations and ideas that will help him get to the top.

And at the top, there was you and your creator. He was always jealous of your creator's work, yet it seemed to lean towards you. He wanted to work with your creator, hoping that they can combine their ideas and create something for their use, more like for his use.

They had to decline, saying that they were fine with working by themselves with you by their side. He remembered you always having a blank, tired, or resting depression on your faceplate, as if you didn't like working with your creator.

You did like working with them, so why was he judging you on your expression in the first place? They helped you create and modify, such as weapons that you were able to store in your gauntlets.

His somewhat jealousy had somewhat turned into an obsession, trying multiple times to convince you to join his side. Joining the Decepticons.

"Is there anything you need, Starscream?" you inquired, already wanting to end this interaction. He held his hands up, mocking a surrender.

"No, I'm just here to see what place on this planet is still lurking with citizens," he hummed. "But I'm glad that I stopped here before I have to report back to Megatron." his face sneered when he mentioned the leader of the deceptions.

A fake smile stretched across your faceplate. "Good for you. If you'll excuse me, I'm heading out now." as you were striding your way towards the entrance, you were stopped by the tri-colored seeker.

"And why would I let you leave? I was just having a friendly conversation, and you were just gonna head out." his smirk had grown on his faceplate, stepping towards you again. You both stood there in cold silence, optics boring into optics.

As one servo held your bag of your items, you clenched your other servo, making a small, sharp blade form from your gauntlet. The blade emitted a low hum, causing the cybertronian citizens to move back, as if they're about to witness a fight.

Starscream couldn't help but chuckle. "Still cold as ever, eh?" his servos tried to reach for your chin, you made a clean cutting motion to it with your servo. It happened so fast, watching a cut form in the tri-colored seekers servo, a small stream of energon flowed from it.

Making your small blade go back into your arm, you leave without a word, going into your alt-mode and rushing your way back home. Thundercracker and Skywarp tried to go towards their leader, but he stopped them, reassuring that he was fine.

His smirk grew darker, lifting his servo that had the cut on it to his faceplate, licking it as he let out a satisfied hum. 'I will be seeing you soon, Ghostline...'

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

Making it back home, you slumped against the metal door, your platings lightly grating on it. Out of everyone you had to encounter, it had to be him. What was he doing there anyway? If it was anyone else, the shop would've been raided and destroyed already.

Finding the courage, you sat up, placing the items on your desk. Sitting on the small chair in front of it, you took out the small blade in your wrist area. It lightly shined in the small, neon light in your working desk.

Lightly grazing a digit on the side of it, it seemed to be slightly dull. Getting a metal file block from a small drawer under your work desk, you slowly began to sharpen it. You made sure that each side was even and sharp, making sure it was precisely used.

Small sparks would spew when sharpening, some landing on the desk but you didn't mind. Taking the small blade off of the metal, a light smile stretched on your derma as it shined beautifully in the dark room.

Pressing a button on your arm plating, you placed the blade back inside your, closing it. Getting up from your chair, you grabbed a small cue of energon, the colors glowed in the work room. Walking to your room, you grabbed your data pad and sat comfortably on your berth.

You mindlessly started to play some games on your data pad, sipping on the colorful liquid, enjoying the peaceful silence. But that was until someone knocked on your door, nearly causing you to emit an annoyed groan.

Exiting out of the game, you went to see what was on the cameras. Pulling up the screen, you see a tall, blue and white mech who wore a red visor and a metal mask. You knew he was trouble, seeing a decepticon symbol in the center of his chest as a small gatling gun was on his shoulder.

But what weirded you out was he was staring right at the camera.

The mech continued to stare, as if he was waiting for you to answer the door. But how? The camera is hidden inside the walls. An irritated feeling started to rise, quickly getting up as you quietly stomped your way to your desk to grab your pulse blaster.

Placing your data pad away, you held your blaster behind you. Pressing the buttons to open your door, you hid half of your fraze behind the metal door. "Can I help you?" you inquired, slightly lifting your gaze to meet his red visor.

"Soundwave: Surveying the area. Looked abandoned at first." he spoke in a monotone, his red visor bore into your narrowed optics. You couldn't tell if he was lying or not, clutching your blaster behind you.

"Then how did you know that someone was here? You were staring at a specific spot." you replied.

"Soundwave: Was told by a certain Seeker. But I already knew about this location before him." your optics widened at his quick response, were they stalking you? And if they were, how long were they doing it?

'That spawn of a glitch!' you thought. You then asked the mech what he wanted, itching to pull the trigger, but that would cause trouble, and you didn't want that.

"Was ordered here by our leader. Drop the blaster, you don't want to get hurt." he lowly hummed, watching his red visor glowed in enlightenment at your shocked expression. Great, he was a Telepath.

Scowling, you dropped your weapon, hearing a muffled thud behind you on the carpet floor. You both entered a staredown, either waiting for something to happen. You suddenly hear two voices coming from the blue mech.

"Hey, boss! When are we gonna get something to eat?"

"Yeah, You've been in this area for a while. Can we go back to base?"

The decepticon noticed the slight perplexed expression on your faceplate. "We will go now, Cassettes." staring at you for a single klick, he then takes off flying. Gritting your denta, you quickly pressed the buttons to close the metal door.

Picking up your gun, you threw it on the desk. Great, they're stalking you now. You have to move, but where to? Your servos covered your faceplate, slowly sliding them off as you emitted a tired groan.

What were you going to do now?

Stomping back into your room, you snatched the energon cube and downed the entire thing, a few drops of the colorful liquid landed on the ground. You felt the coolness of the liquid slowly cool you down, not noticing that your vents were kicking in from the rage that was trying to show.

Feeling a bit dizzy from downing the cube, you sat down on your berth. You stared endlessly at the walls, nothing going through your processor as a sudden white noise became present.

'Maybe I should give Bumblebee a call. I'm tired of this...'

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

Somewhere, in the ruins on Cybertron, multiple explosions can be heard in the distance. The citizens of Cybertron had already evacuated, hoping to find a safe place in this so-called death trap of a planet.

Nearby, a panel had opened on the ground, revealing two autobots. “There’s not enough energon conductors to last the cortex.” grumbled the first bot, picking up Bumblebee from the panel as well.

The yellow autobot was trying to achieve some supplies for when they report back to Optimus Prime. With him was Wheeljack, the scientist and the inverter of the group. When he was recruited, he was able to help Optimus when dealing with the Decepticons.

“At least we found some,” Bumblebee replied, holding glowing rods of energon in hand. “C’mon, we gotta hurry before any more cons find us.” Nodding, the scientist went into his alt-mode, suggesting that they can travel better than on foot.

As they were making their way towards a specific direction, Bumblebee was getting a comlink. ::Hello?:: he replied, his voice showed slight hesitancy.

::Bumblebee, you around here?::

The yellow autobot brightened when he heard your voice, a light grin stretching on his derma. ::Yeah, I’m just collecting some energon while we head back to base. Did you need something?::

::Alright, is it okay if you stop by where I’m usually at? I’ve finally thought about and decided to join you guys… Right now, I don’t feel safe here.:: you replied, the tone in your voice showed slight exhaustion. After what had happened yesterday, you needed to get out of here.

::Okay, we’re on our way! See you soon.:: he then ended the comlink, quickly hopping inside of Wheeljack. “We gotta stop somewhere, I have a friend that wants to join. They live in the quiet parts of Cybertron.”

“They live in those parts? I’m surprised that the decepticons haven’t raided that part yet.” the scientist hummed, turning himself to go into a different direction. The two knew that the enemy would destroy places that have livelihood, a society.

The ride there started to become quiet, explosions in the distance were muffled as they went through a dark tunnel. Neon lights peeked through the vents of the tunnel as they arrived at the place.

Bumblebee emerged out of Wheeljack, quietly striding his way towards your door. He gave it a quick knock, hearing muffled footsteps coming towards the door. As the door slide opened, you chuckled when you see the scout with a toothy grin.

“Hey kid. You really excited for me to join your team?” you lightly hummed, closing your door, making sure to lock it. From a few feet away. Wheeljack had gone into bot mode, wanting to see who Bumblebee was talking to.

He sees a cybertronian that loomed over the yellow autobot who wore a faint grin. Your optics were dimmed with small bio-lights that gently glowed in the darkness with a healed scar on your face plate. On your arms, you had unique designs of ink markings, another word for tattoos.

Your gaze landed towards him, hearing him emit a nervous chuckle before waving. “You must be Bumblebee's friend he’s been talking about. I’m Wheeljack.” he greeted politely, pushing his servo out.

You stride your way towards him, his helm slowly lifting upwards to see you in full height. “[Name]. Nice to meet you.” you replied, grasping his servo into a firm handshake. Letting go of his hand, you direct your gaze towards the yellow autobot. “So, are we going back to the base?”

Bumblebee nodded, explaining that they were gathering some supplies before you called him. Taking in the information, the scientist transformed into a hover-van, seeing that the yellow bot was traveling with him.

“Just follow us.” the scout quickly stated, getting a nod as you transformed into a hoverbike. It was interesting, Wheeljack had never seen a form like that before. Was it rare? They moved forward, quietly going in the air.

It was like you camouflaged in the night sky, as they couldn’t see you. Going through multiple tunnels, the neon lights on the buildings lightly glowed in the night as you see multiple individuals up ahead that was blocking the entrance to Iacon.

::Bumblebee, seekers straight ahead!:: you quickly reminded him, seeing the same trine group from yesterday. The scout alerted Wheeljack to place a barrier around his alt-mode as they heard lasers being fired.

Their attacks couldn’t leave a mark on the scientist, but he knew that he had to hurry. A small laser cannon emerged from the bottom of your alt-mode, firing with accuracy as it stunned the group of decepticons.

Going past then, the tri-colored seeker demanded the other two to go after them, transforming and taking off into the night sky. Turning your cannon around, you fired at the two seekers that trailed from behind, cutting their directions off as they tried their best to avoid your attacks.

“You alright in there, Bumblebee?” Wheeljack questioned, wanting to make sure that he was safe.

“Yeah, I’m okay.” he replied, looking out of the window. “I think I see the hideout up ahead. I’m glad [Name] was able to handle them off, they definitely have a spot on the team!” The hover-van couldn’t help but chuckle at the scout, taking a few sharp turns.

Up ahead, there was a large, golden structure that resembled a cone with a glass on top of it. ::Wheeljack to Iacon. We’re outside.:: the door to the structure quickly opened, you three quickly went inside as the door closed shut.

But in the hurry, you all didn’t notice a certain telepath that camouflaged nearby. Going into bot form, he pressed a button on his upper chest. “Laserbeak: Prepare for flight. Destination: Iacon.” he ordered remotely, watching a cassette tape turn into a bird-like bot creature.

Inside, he sees four mechs that were conversing on an elevator pad, one of them being Optimus Prime. “Any luck out there, Jazz?” the prime inquired, watching the black and white mech transform into bot-mode.

“Negative. The north side of Cybertron is darker than the inside of a driveshaft.” he reported, his blue visor glowed slightly in the dark. Their leader sighed, knowing that nobody was going to win the war unless they found a new supply of energon.

From above, Laserbeak was able to gather the information, flying his way back to its sender. With the four mechs, they arrived back at the ship. Pressing a button to open a door to the main area, they stride towards their stations.

Before Optimus could sit down, the door opened back up, making him turn around. “Ah, Bumblebee, Wheeljack. You guys made it in-” his sentence stopped when you stride inside, looking around the area before your optics met his gaze.

“[Name]?” he uttered, getting a wave from you. He hasn’t seen you in so long, practically a couple of million vorns ago.

“Hey Optimus, how’s it going?” you greeted, your voice holding tiredness. The other autobots inside turned around to see a tall individual that stood in front of their leader. Your height reaches to his mid-forearm.

“It’s been harsh, the war is growing more dangerous by the day.” he huffed out, feeling a few pairs of optics on him, turning around to see a cruise bunch of his team. “Everyone, this is [Name]. I’ve known them since I was a miner.”

You felt a bit uneasy at the multiple stairs, greeting them with a small wave. “You’ve known them for that long?” questioned a red and gray mech, his voice was low and gruff. “How come you haven’t placed them on the team?”

“[Name] tends to like being by themselves, Ironhide. They avoided the war as if it was a disease. It’s been awhile, but I know that they’ve come prepared for this.” he replied, his blue optics glowed with a promise as he spoke.

He remembered the amount of weapons you helped create with your creator as a sparkling. A mech that was a bit shorter than you came up towards you with a toothy grin on his face plate.

“Question, if you don’t mind me asking.” spoke Jazz, getting a dismissive wave from you. “Have you ever dealt with’a decepticon at a young age?”

Your derma stretched to show a small grin, but there was a hint of sadness that was evident. “I tore out the neck cables of a decepticon with my denta when I was a youngling.” you replied, crossing your arms. Jazz’s grin grew wider while the others stared in disbelief, as if it was normal for a youngling to do that.

“I-is that true, Optimus?” questioned another mech, who wore a red design on their horns horn on their helm with a black and white design on his frame.

“It is, Prowl. They told me that it was to protect their creator.” their leader confirmed, getting affirmative nods from the other autobots. Having some time for the introductions, you felt the ship take off, looking forward to see the stars that breezed by.

Your optical ridges furrow when you see two asteroids about to collide. “Everyone, hang onto something!” Optimus hurriedly exclaimed, watching his team hang onto the multiple control panels as the asteroids exploded, sending out multiple projectiles.

Behind the golden ship, there was a purple ship that had the decepticon symbol on the side. “Meteor shower: Incoming!” Soundwave altered, directing his masked gaze towards his leader, Megatron.

The turbulence was starting to become rocky, the small meteors began to rock the ship. “We’re losing power! Follow them!” he shouted with a commanding tone, grasping onto his throne as his red optics glowed.

“Why don’t we just blow them up?!” Starscream exclaimed.

“Because I want to know what they’re after,” he hissed at his TIC. “I’ve also heard that a certain cybertronian is on there with them.” he added, slightly confusing the tri-colored seeker.

Back with the autobots, Ironhide pulled the lever to fire a large laser to clear the rocks away. Looking at one of the panel screens, your optics widened. “We’re being followed!” you quickly announced.

“Decepticons.” Optimus grumbled with annoyance, quickly running towards the main control panel to try and steer the ship away from the enemy. The ship suddenly came to a strop when a magnetic force that was used by the enemy caused them to lose some of their power.

A long tunnel shot its way into the autobot ship, making you take out your blaster as you heard rapid footsteps heading inside. Once you saw a gray pede, you fired immediately, immobilizing the mech.

“S-s-stop t-t-them!” the one who you short appeared to be Megatron, who was short-circuited by your blaster. The trine and the telepath run inside, but Ironhide was quick to tackle the blue and white mech, causing electricity to burst out.

Jazz and Bumblebee handled the seekers, making sure to stay covered when enemy shots were fired. The sound of incoming footsteps coming towards you made you swiftly kick the person back. You turned towards the attacker, gritting your denta with anger.

“Starscream.” you huffed out, shooting your blaster towards him. He barely got away, getting hit on one side of his wings, not being able to use one of his laser cannons anymore.

“Since when you joined the blasted Autobots?” he sneered with disgust, aiming a punch towards you. Ducking, you swept your leg under him, making his frame collapse to the ground. Raising your foot high in the air, you aimed your heel pede to slam it on his helm, but he rolled over, making you break a part of the floor.

Megatron was finally able to get up but was tackled by Optimus. Before he could land a hit, the entire ship started to shake. “We’re out of control!” he shouts as he tries to steer it. With being connected with the decepticons ship, both ships were out of control, causing everyone to stop fighting.

Up ahead was another planet, surrounded by rocky terrain. The decepticon ship was able to snap off of the autobot ship, making it crash in the large body of water. Heading straight ahead, the golden ship crashed into a mountain, followed by an explosion that caused everyone to emergency shut down.

Warning signals popped up in your processor, struggling to activate frame defensive protocol before you shut down into darkness as small cuts on their frames slowly seep out energon of everyone inside the ship.

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

Time began to pass. The rocky terrain became greener, full of life and nature. Mountains and large structures began to shrink as wildlife began to grow within time. Four million years had passed.

In the autobot spaceship, there laid multiple broken bots that had been shut down for so long that most of them started to decompose. With a sudden volcanic explosion, the energy seemed to turn on the computer.

A small satellite emerged out of the panel, flying its way out of the ship to go look for things to repair. It scanned a fighter jet, using the blueprints to scan and repair one of the seekers, Skywarp.

He scanned the area, seeing that he was the first one awake. His gaze landed towards his leader, dragging his frame so he could come back to live. All the damage and rust began to revert back, giving Megatron new repairs.

“My leader, we’re alive again.” The black and purple seeker helped him up.

“C’mon, we must revive the others.” Megatron responded, his voice still raspy like before. The two gathered the rest of the decepticons, placing them in a pile so they could revive. One by one, they began to stand up, placing their gazes towards their leader.

As all the decepticons were revived, they flew out of the ship, landing on a large hill above it, their heavy footsteps creating muffled thuds as they took a look around them. “Time has passed, but our mission has not changed.” their leader informed them, needing to get a supply of energon.

If they could possibly find resources that could help them make a large supply, they’ll return back home and build the ultimate weapon and conquer the universe. As they began to leave, he turned his gaze to see Starscream shooting at the broken airship.

“Starscream! Stop it!” he shouted, already annoyed by the jet fighter.

“I’m just saying goodbye.” the tri-colored seeker replied with a hiss, shooting at the ship once more before following his leader. His attacks caused some of the autobots to move around, getting shot with a beam that would revive him.

It landed on Optimus, gathering the blueprints of a semi-truck. Emitting a groan from his intake, he stood up, giving thanks to the computer. He watches as his friends begin to come back to life, you being the next one as the satellite had to go into a restricted area to find your prints.

A groggy groan slightly static your voice box, trudging your way up to your pedes. As a few minutes passed, the other autobots were soon revived with new frames. “What’s goin’ on, Optimus?” Jazz questioned.

The prime looked outside, his blue optics landing on new land. “It seems that we’ve landed on a new planet, I can sense rich resources of energy, but the decepticons must know about it as well.” he replied, turning back to his team.

“Hound, [Name], see if you both can locate the decepticons.” he instructed, getting firm nods from the two.

“What about me?” another red mech that was shooter than Ironhide chimed in. “I wanna boot some decepticon right in his turbocharger.”

“Easy, Cliffjumper. Just find them and we’ll deal with them later.” his leader replied, his optics narrowing at the short mech. The three of you nodded, making your way outside and going into alt-mode.

They drove their way towards the new location as you took the air, hoping to find something from above. ‘This place is a lot different than Cybertron…’ you thought when a sudden oily smell started to fume in the air.

::You guys smell that?:: you comlinked Hound and Cliffjumper, seeing something in the distance.

::Yup, I think we found the decepticons.:: the military jeep replied, guessing that he and the other mech could smell it as well. You three went into bot-mode, crouching on a hill as you see the enemy already building some sort of structure.

The small red mech wanted to go down there and give them a beating or two, but he had to follow Optimus’s orders. Hound pressed a button on his gantlets, watching a small satellite turn on so they could gather information.

::I will blunder Earth, and steal its precious resources.:: That was Megatron speaking before Soundwave spoke as well.

::We can concentrate the energy into energon cubes. Can be stored into the new space cruiser.::

As you and Hound listened in on their conversations, something had caught your optics, widening when you see Cliffjumper wielding a rocket launcher that was bigger than him. ::What are you doing?!::

You had to quickly comlink him, knowing that yelling would give away your location.

“I’ve got Megatron dead center in my view.” he replied with a sly grin. Hound tried to grab the weapon, but the shorter mech was able to fire it, but still missed as it fired at the ground near the enemy.

“Now you've done it! We gotta get out of here!” the military jeep exclaimed before quickly going into alt-mode. You and Cliffjumper transformed as you guys began to escape, feeling something following them, who seemed to be Laserbeak.

“Split up! That way one of us can report back to Optimus.” The three of you went in different directions, the robotic bird followed the military jeep as it fired a missile at you and Cliffjumper. A small cannon emerged on top of your alt-form, getting a clean shot to destroy the missile.

With Hound, he was able to dodge a few lasers that were fired from the flying enemy, but the road was starting to become rocky, causing him to get hit. His tires tried to stop, but he crashed into the rocky wall, making him off the road.

Turning yourself around, you see the military jeep smoking. ::[Name] to Optimus. Hound has been hit.:: you reported, getting a quick reply from the semi-truck.

::I’ll send in Ratchet and Hauler right away. Anything on the decepticons?::

::They’re trying to gather info on resources to make energon cubes. They also started to make some structures to make a new ship.:: you responded, your gaze following an ambulance and a crane truck.

Taking in the information, you both ended the call, flying your way towards the downed vehicle. He uttered thanks as you helped him up so Hauler could use his hook to pull him up. “Do you know where you got hit?” the white and red mech inquired, guessing that was Ratchet.

“I uh, I think it's my drivetrain.” the jeep replied, a pained groan was emitted after. You asked him if he could transform, watching him make an attempt to do so, but he couldn’t. Cliffjumper hand landed next to the medic, apologizing for jumping the gun to fire at the decepticon leader.

“Ha ha, you mean sending them a message.” he replied, getting a chuckle from the smaller autobot. Once Hound was pulled up, you, Ratchet and Cliffjumper quickly reported back to base, Hauler following you three behind.

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

Safely getting back to base, Hound was quickly getting repaired by the medic. You explained to the rest of the autobots that the enemy were going to make energon cubes and report them back to Cybertron.

“Jazz, organize a battle unit. We’re going after them.” he instructs, getting a bright grin from the porsche. Once everyone was outside, he started to call out their names, watching them go into their new alt-mode.

“Autobots, start your engines!” He then turned towards the taller mech. “We’re ready, Prime.”

“Then let's roll!” Transforming into a large semi-truck, you quickly transformed into a hoverbike, following them from above as the others trailed behind the leader.

Meanwhile, with the Decepticons, Laserbeak flew back towards their sender, landing on the blue and white mech’s shoulder armor. “Megatron, Laserbeak has returned. Energy source: Nearby.” he reported in monotone.

“Excellent.” his leader hummed with a menacing grin. He takes off flying, followed by the trine and the telepath. The cool wind breezed past them as they flew past a large group of clouds. Pointing in front of him, he sees an oil rig that was near the shore.

“Dive here!” he demands, flying downwards.

The workers that were on the oil rig had noticed the multiple individuals, nearly falling to the ground as the alien robots landed near them. They started to question their co-workers on what was in front of them, throwing their equipment at them, but that did nothing to help.

Megatron stared at them with a blank expression, grabbing a large metal pipe and throwing it at them, making them run to the water. A young man saw that his father was being attacked by one of the robots.

“Let go of my dad!” he demands, hitting a purple decepticon named Rumble that was slightly taller than him.

He attempted to hit it, but he quickly retracted his hand back in pain, hitting bare metal as he was smacked away. While the enemy was distracted, his father was able to kick him off, telling his son to head into the water.

“Starscream, activate the nullray, now!” Megatron demands, watching the seeker shoot a pillar nearby, making it non-functional. He then instructs Soundwave to make energon cubes, watching empty cubes being made by the telepath from his cassette player.

Skywarp and Thrundercracker grabbed hose’s so they could pour oil into the cubes. To have room for them to carry, they squashed them down, causing the recourse to glow brightly with different colors.

This was barely a small fraction of what they needed, needing to practically suck this entire planet dry to gather what they needed. Starscream turned around, his red optics widened as he pointed in the air. “Autobots! They’re here!”

The deception leader turned around to see multiple autobots flying towards them. “Decepticons, attack!” transforming into a ray gun, Starscream grabbed it and began to fire, but he missed all of his shots.

Landing, the two groups clashed, lasers and cannons being fired all across the oil rig. A small panel opened on your tibulan, grabbing a chain that held a magnetic force. Making the chain wrap around the blue seeker, it caused him to short-circuit.

Lifting up your chain with him still wrapped around it, you threw him towards the other decepticons, making them crash to the ground. “What are you doing Thundercracker?!” Skywarp exclaimed, but he only recovered a glitchy response from the blue seeker.

With quickness, Jazz and Prowl fired at the energon cubes that were made, causing them to explode. Optimus Prime and Megatron were exchanging punches, the prime having the advantage. But he was knocked off the ground as Laserbeak pushed him away.

The decepticons then took flight, getting the left over energon cubes that they’ve managed to grab before retreating. “So long, Prime. Have a nice swim!” Megatron fired his arm cannon towards the metal legs that held the oil rig, making it crash into the water.

A large amount of oil began to pour into the ocean, making the decepticon leader smirk as he fired at the oil rig, making a burst of flames fumed off the surface before retreating back with his team.

As you and the autobots made an attempt to get out of the water, you heard a cry for help. “We’re trapped! Please, save us!” It was the workers from before that were trapped under broken structures.

You and Optimus were near them, making you both quickly swim over to them. “Keep your heads above the water and stay close!” The semi-truck instructs as you both move the broken structures away as the fire started to get closer.

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

As you and Optimus continued to lift the debris to free the father and son, the prime instructed Trailbreaker to make a forcefield while Wheeljack was quick to extinguish the flames. The other autobots made sure that everyone was out of the water as they stood on the rig.

Pushing the debris away, you placed the father and son on Optimus’s shoulder platings. “Catch!” you both turned around to see Jazz throwing a robe for you and Optimus to climb on safely.

Thanking the black and white mech, you three stood on a large structure, placing the humans down in front of them. “I don’t know who you guys are, but you saved our lives.” uttered the older man.

As you finally took a look down at them, you realized how tiny they were. They were nearly the same height as Bumblebee, you thought. “We’re Autobots,” the prime started, fully standing up from the ground. “We’re from the planet Cybertron, a planet far from Earth.”

The younger man looked at you three in awe, you guys were from another planet? “Those who tried to harm you were Decepticons, we must stop them before they could destroy your world.” he added.

You and Jazz glanced at each other, hearing the two smaller beings asking if they could help you guys. “Me and my son know a lot more about earth than you guys.” the father stated, earning a hum from you.

“I mean, they could help us.” you hummed, crossing your arms. “But wouldn’t they be putting themselves in danger?” you were getting a bad feeling that these two were going to be pulled into the problems of the war against the two factions.

“That is correct, but maybe they can help us.” he suggested. Emitting a hum from your intake, you and Jazz noticed that the other autobots were flying back to base, making you both fly with them, followed by Optimus and the two humans.

“So [Name],” the porsche started, getting your attention. “What did ya do while you were away from the other cybertronians?” he questioned, watching you lift an optic ridge. You pondered for a few seconds, wanting to make sure you don’t say too much.

“My creator wanted me to be safe away from the upcoming war that was going on. They gave me a part of being their assistant, and at the same time, I was becoming a weapons specialist.” you informed with a light tone.

The mech smiled widely, his blue visor gleaming with excitement. “Nice! That means that you could be the third in command.” while flying, he turned around towards Optimus, not noticing your puzzled expression. “Hey Prime, can your friend become the TIC? They’re a weapon specialist!”

The red and blue mech hummed at the question, his blue optics glanced over at you, feeling a light grin form behind his mask. “Sure,” he chuckled, watching your expression show bewilderment at the quick answer. “That will definitely come in handy.”

You watched as Jazz cheered in the air, blinking at how quick you were able to get an important role in seconds. As a few minutes passed, you all arrived back at the base. Optimus laced the two humans down, slowly following the autobots.

The young man looked at the ship in awe, it had crashed into a mountain, wondering how long it’s been there for. When everyone was inside, he noticed a blue and white object that was laying on the ground.

It was a cassette player with an unfamiliar symbol at the center of it. He decided to take it with him inside the ship, not knowing that in hand was TIC of the decepticons in his alt-form. Putting it down, Soundwave started to record, watching the boy go to one of the mechs into another area.

Transforming, he sent out Ravage, an animal-like robot that transformed into a cassette. “Ravage: Plan one. Acquire knowledge from earth.” he demanded, watching them turn into a cassette before going into the machine to gather information.

Back with the boy, he met up with some other autobots. “So can you guys tell me more about you guys?”

“What would you like to know?” Ironhide questioned back, seeing that the human was curious about what they were. He followed the red mech, hearing him explain that each of them can transform into different things.

Hound was the first example, transforming into an army truck, chuckling at the awed expression he received from the human. “Now watch this.” He then makes a person appear on the driver seat, explaining that he could make holograms.

A blue and white mech named Mirage chimed into the conversation. “Try this one, Spike.” you blinked at the sudden name. There was no way in Primus that this kid was named spike… You immediately covered your mouth with your servo so you wouldn’t bust out laughing.

But as you glanced over to see that Jazz, Bumblebee, and Cliffjumper were also trying to hide their chuckles, you nearly let out a laugh. Mirage pressed a button on his shoulder platings, watching his frame disappear out of thin air.

“Hey, where’d he go?” The boy stared around the area in confusion as Mirage reappeared in a different spot, making his eyes widen in awe, he could disappear and reappear! He then asked what Cybertron was like, noticing how their expressions faltered slightly from the topic.

“Before the war against the decepticons, it was quiet and peaceful.” you explained, your muffled chuckles had died down as your expression was now firm, your dimmed optics held a glint of somber.

“Did you miss it?”

“Definitely.” you replied without missing a beat, slowly frowning. The memories of a quiet life slowly ran through your processor, remembering how you spent time with your creator you haven’t seen in so long.

Suddenly, you heard something that caught your audials. A low yet muffled rumble can be heard from another part of the ship. ::Ironhide. Jazz, somethings on the ship.:: you quickly comlinked the two, watching them nod as they quietly followed you.

Stopping at the entrance, you immediately saw an unfamiliar alt-mode near the main computer that held the decepticon symbol. Taking out your blaster, you were quick to shoot it off the counter, making Jazz sound the alarm.

The cassette player quickly transformed to reveal that it was Soundwave, making you grit your denta. The TIC decepticon tried to fire his blaster, but it seems that you short-circuited when you shot him off the counter. “Ravage: Eject! Eject!” he quickly called as another cassette tape emerged out of the computer.

::Ironhide to Optimus! There’s a decepticon heading outside!::

::We’ll catch him on the way out!:: the prime quickly replied as he saw a blue and white mech running out the ship, followed by an animal-like robot that split away from its sender. While the other autobots were able to get a few shots at Soundwave, they needed to capture one of them.

“Fire the net!” the prime quickly demands, watching Prowl shoot out a glowing net that surrounds Ravage in a dome-like cage.

Back with the communication officer, he was able to retreat with a few scratches, but a short-circuited weapon. He wasn’t going to lie, that was an incredible shot made by you, you didn’t even hesitate.

He made it back to the base, seeing that Megaron and the seekers were already outside. He informed them that the place to get the best resources was the Sherman Dam, watching the decepticon leader’s optics glowed proudly at the information.

“Good work, Soundwave.” he praised, but was quickly interrupted by Starscream, saying that wasn't enough electrical power to make energon cubes. “Your knowledge is only overshadowed by your stupidity.” he hissed.

“We’re going to make a tidal wave, one with enough that will send enough power surging to the dam. And to make all the energon cubes we need!” his optics then glowed brighter with promise. “We attack the dam at sunrise!”

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

As time passed, the sky was filled with a dull blue and purple, the crack of dawn slowly rising. The decepticons quickly flew towards a flat structure, somewhere that was near the dam. “Soundwave, dispatch Rumble.” he instructed.

The TIC pressed a button on his shoulder to eject a purple cassette, watching it transform into a mech that was way shorter than the others. “Rumble: Activate piledrivers. Operation: Tidalwave." He moved his arm to demonstrate a wave.

“Ya got it, boss!” the small mech replied as he strides his way into the water, sinking down to the ground. Using his arms as piledrivers, he started to make the ground shake, causing it to make waves surface the water.

“Decepticons, to the powerplant!” taking flight, the rest of him quickly followed him to the location. The water that was in the dam started to overload, large streams of water started to seep through the openings, quickly sounding the alarm.

From a few distances away, you were hidden in an unknown area, spying on the enemy. Pressing a few buttons on your gantlets, you used another ability of yours; Memory Echo. It can rewind the events that had just happened and gather information.

You quickly comlinked Jazz. ::[Name] to Jazz, are you there?:: you started.

::Loud and clear, prime and the others can hear ya too.:: he replied.

::Good. The decepticons were at a dam nearby, causing some sort of tidal wave. They’re making their way towards the powerplant.:: you quickly informed, quietly getting out of your spot before going into alt-mode.

::Alright, we’re on our way!:: ending the call, you quickly flew your way to another location. Looking downwards, you already saw the rest of the autobots following the semi-truck, that was quick.

Back with Megatron and the others, they landed next to the factory before breaking into the walls, watching the humans scamper around as some of them stare at the giant beings in shock and bewilderment.

The sound of multiple alarms can be heard as all the arrows on the machines pointed to red, letting them know that the dam was about to break. “I tell ya, it’s gonna blow!” one of the workers exclaimed. “This entire place is gonna go sky high!”

Megatron smirked at the human. “Excellent, the electrical output is at its peak. Exactly where I wanted,” he then turned towards the tri-colored seeker. “Starscream, activate the null ray.” he demands, watching the seeker activate them in three different places.

He then instructs Soundwave to make the energon cubes, watching clear cubes being formed out of the communication officer. They acted quickly, the other two seekers placed the empty cubes in the null ray, electric rays started to surround the cube as it was filled with a light purple color.

The menacing leader made his way outside as he heard the sound of multiple engines rumbling. Smirking, he aimed his arm cannon towards the autobots, shooting at the mountain to get their attention. “You’re too late, autobots!"

Your optics narrowed as you stared down at the water, getting out your blaster as you saw a smaller decepticon that was causing the tidal waves. Shooting him, you watched his frame come to a stop, his short-circuited body sank to the ground.

“How long will he stay like that?” Optimus inquired. You turned towards him with a lazy grin.

“He’s gonna be down for a bit. But since the water is affecting his short-circuits, it’ll take longer for him to get back up.” you hummed, your dimed optics flashed dangerously for a second.

With Bumblebee and Ironhide, they had to make a new river. The beetlebug hopped into the red mech’s alt-mode, driving in front of the water while aiming at the ground with a large laser. They created multiple rivers, hearing thankful cheers from the nearby humans that were on the roofs of their homes.

“Autobots, to the factory.” Everyone flew their way upwards and started blasting through the building. Getting into positions, you carefully aimed at the decepticons, immobilizing some of them to the ground.

Thundercracker and Skywarp quickly compressed the energon cubes, but Prowl and Jazz shot them, only destroying a few. The sound of footsteps can be heard from behind, making you thrust your elbow behind you, knocking the mech back to see Soundwave.

“So we meet again, huh?” you sneered with annoyance as you watched him get up from the ground, getting into a fighting stance as he approached you.

“Soundwave: wants to test Ghostline’s skills. Need to confirm from Starscream.” he hummed in monotone, throwing the first punch, but you easily dodged. Your optic ridged furrowed when you realized he knew about your destination name, guessing that he was going through Starscream’s mind.

Aiming a kick at his side, he emitted a muffled groan from his intake, quickly grabbing your foot and throwing you to the wall nearby. A pained hiss escaped your lips, but you bounced back up before aiming your pede at his chest, sending him collapsing to the other decepticons.

“Not bad, [Name]!” Prowl shouted, watching you give him a silent thumbs up before continuing the fight with the vocoder. With Megatron and Optimus, they were aiming blows at each other while on the top floor of the building.

Megatron threw a blow at the blue and red mech’s side by using his arm cannon, but Optimus caught it and pushed him away, followed by a blow to the jaw. Suddenly, an explosion erupted in the building, making the decepticon leader glance towards it to see that a certain seeker caused it.

“You fool, Starscream! Go get some of the energon cub-” his sentence was cut off as he was tackled by the prime, falling for a few stories before they hit the ground. The two quickly get up, facing each other on the broken dam.

“You destroy everything you touch, Megatron!” the prime shouted as his servo formed into a glowing energy axe, hearing it emit a low hum.

The gray mech lets out a menacing chuckle. “That’s because it’s fuel for my power!” he shot back, his servo formed a purple glowing spikeball that was hanging by a chain. Their weapons clashed, sparks of energy spewed from the glowing weapons.

Megatron aimed low, but Optimus easily jumped over the sneak attack. “You’re too old for this, you know. Yesterday's scrap metal.” the prime taunted, watching the decepticons' optics narrowed with frustration as they continued their fight.

“Then let’s see who’s ready for the scrapheap.” the gray mech sneered, swinging the spikeball at Optimus’s side once more. The autobot managed to dodge it, but a few parts of his side were impacted by the energy attack.

“Help! Help!” Suddenly, a cry for help echoed a few feet away from them, making the prime turn towards the voice to see Spike being pulled into the water by Rumble. As he was distracted, Megatron knocked him into the water, emitting a taunting laugh before catching up with the rest of the decepticons, who managed to snag some more energon cubes.

The large waves of water crashed into Optimus, he couldn’t find a ledge to hang onto so he could get out. His TIC was quick to throw a rope for him to get out, thanking him. You quickly made your way towards the young man, kicking the small mech away from him as he flew back to his sender.

“You alright?” you inquired, getting a shaky thumbs up from his as he gasped for air, hacking up water that managed to get inside him. Once he was done, you both made strides towards the autobots.

“Why can’t we just fix the ship and go back to Cybertron?” Mirage questioned, saying that they could go back and help rebuild the planet. Optimus shook his head, saying that if Megatron would take over the earth, it would be harder to defeat him when he gets back to Cybertron.

He encouraged his team to not ignore the danger, they’ve been through so much for the past millions of vorns on their home planet. A tired expression fell on your faceplate, emitting a faint groan, hoping that you all could come up with a plan.

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

A few hours slowly managed to pass, Spike and his father were sitting outside. Next to them was a communication satellite that was made by Wheeljack, hoping that they could get some information from the Decepticons.

Taking a sip of their coffee, it came to a stop when they heard a monotonic voice coming from the satellite. “Rocket fuel is another highly concentrated form of energy.” The voice belonged to their TIC.

They then heard another voice, low and gruff that showed annoyance towards an ambitious seeker. “Despite your stupidity, Starscream. Our mission will succeed! First, we strike the crystal mines and locate the rocket fuel we need.”

The father and son turned toward each other. “That’s what we’ve been waiting to hear, let’s radio Prime.” he quickly suggests as they quickly hop inside Trailbreaker, driving to the desired location.

Then, the air rumbled, making them quickly look up to see three seekers flying towards them, raining down lasers to stop them. “Can you go any faster, Trailbreaker?!”

“I can’t! This is the max I can go! Radio home base!” the dark colored mech replied. Spike’s father, Sparkplug, quickly messaged the autobots, explaining that they’re being attacked by some of the decepticons.

Trailbreaker continued to dodge and maneuver away from the rapid lasers. They then heard two engines rumble in front of them, driving beside Trailbraker. “It’s Sunstreaker and Swideswipe!” The yellow lamborghini made a blaster emerge out of his side, shooting the purple seeker.

“Great, now I gotta get another pain job!” Sunstreaker whined, hearing his twin chuckle at him.

“Don’t worry, nobody will notice. Just make left turns.” Sideswipe chuckled, earning a grumble from the yellow vehicle. Trailbreaker quickly followed the twins, arriving at an entrance of the mines, transforming.

Optimus pointed in front of him, explaining that they were specifically inside this mine. “Let’s blast their tailrunners outta there.” Ironhide huffed, his lips formed into a sly grin.

Wheeljack then held up an explosive, the sides of his faceplate glowed whenever he spoke. “We’ve got just the trick that will do. There’s enough explosives here to bury them forever!” he stated, but was stopped by his leader.

He knew that they were in there, it’s just that he doesn’t want all of the mines destroyed, just the ones that had the decepticons. Bumblebee suggested that he could go in with Sparkplug, seeing that he was the smallest.

Once Spike’s father hopped into the beetlebug, Wheeljack began to explain about the explosive he’s about to give him. “Once you set this timer here, you got sixty seconds. Remember, once you press it, that’s it. We need the both of you to get outta there quickly.”

“Be careful in there, kid.” you hummed to Bumblebee, getting a thumbs up from the smaller mech. Taking in the information, they quickly yet quietly drove to the entrance, Bumblebee went into bot mode as he was given the explosive.

They walked inside, seeing specks of red all over the walls and the ground. The yellow autobot has never seen anything like this, it was similar yet different from the mines he used to work in with prime.

Sparkplug explained that this was the ruby crystal mines, watching how they glowed in the tunnels. They stopped their tracks when they saw two seekers pushing a crate on rubies, making them hide in the shadows.

“You know, Skywarp. I can’t wait to go back to Cybertron. Earth is so… flat.” he uttered, earning a chuckle from the purple seeker.

“Heh, yeah. I get watcha mean, Thunderchracker.” he replied. Once the two were out of sight, they quickly ran to another entrance, seeing the rest of the decepticons inside. Quickly placing the explosive and hitting the timer, they make a run for it.

Before they could reach the entrance, they were pushed to the wall by the two seekers from before. Bumblebee tried to fight back, but since he was shorter than the seekers, he was pushed down.

As they were about to finish them off, the explosive went off, causing debris to fall on everyone that was still inside. The beetlebug tried to contact either you or Optimus, but the debris fell on him.

Outside, you were trying to comlink him, but there was no answer. “He’s not answering.” you quickly inform, watching the red and blue mech run towards the mines.

‘C’mon, kid. Don’t you offline on me!’

Chapter Text

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

You and the rest of the autobots followed the prime, watching him go into bot-mode. “We need a way to get inside, the debris blocked the entrance.” Optimus stated. Ironhide had an idea, turning one of his servos into a drill.

He started to drill his way inside the caves, with the help of the others by moving the boulders away to get inside. The boulders were getting smaller and smaller, as you took another boulder away, you saw a ray of light.

“Bumblebee! Sparkplug! You guys alright?” you inquired, watching a hand rise from the debris, it belonged to the human. Alerting the autobots, you grabbed Bumblebee out of there while Prowl helped Spike’s father out.

The red and blue mech let out a sigh of relief. “Thanks to you two, the decepticons are finished.” he hummed, getting a chuckle from the yellow beetlebug. You crossed your arms, still feeling a bit suspicious, there’s no way the decepticons could’ve been defeated that easily.

But since they won’t be bothering you all for a bit, the autobots can resume their search for the resources they need. Some of them hoped that they could go back home to Cybertron, but they knew that it would take a while.

Unfortunately, the plan for research was now on hold once more, hearing an explosion erupt from the mountain. ‘Knew it…’ you thought, shielding yourself from the falling debris as the decepticons started to fly out of the mountain.

“We need to go after them! They’re escaping-” Ironhide was stopped by their leader, stating that they should let them go, and also adding the fact that they were too fast for them in the air. The red mech shook his helm in disapproval, taking flight to immediately go after them.

The prime tried to call back Ironhide, but he was already gone from their sights. “I’ll go after him!” you glanced over to see a red and white mech with some black gantlants, taking off to go after the red mech.

Jazz tried to stop him, hearing that his name was Bluestreak. You all began to follow them, watching the two mechs carefully. The mech with door wings was able to find Ironhide, trying to reason with him. “Theres too many of them, mech! They’re too fast for you.”

“Quit yer yapping, Bluestreak. This is my fight!”

“Well then make it our fight.” he retorted back, watching Ironhide take out his blaster and fire towards the decepticons. He was able to hit one of the seekers, but it wasn’t powerful enough to take them down.

Suddenly, one of the seekers disappeared before reappearing behind the two autobots, seeing that it was Skywarp. The seeker began to fire multiple missiles at them, making them redirect their flying away from the enemy, dodging in the process.

As they were trying to land, Ironhide was shot in the back, making him crash into the water. The mech with door wings quickly jumped in the large body of water, making sure to grab him before he sank to the bottom. “Throw me a line!”

Jazz transformed one of his servos into a hook and rope, throwing it to Bluestreak so he could pull the two out of there. Once they were out, you see a faint stream of black fuming from his back, something is probably busted.

Ratchet quickly went into alt-mode, opening the doors in the back. You carefully grabbed under Ironhide’s arms while Jazz got his pedes. The red mech tried to utter something, but he was stopped by his leader.

“Save your breath, old buddy. Remember, there is a thin line between being a hero, and being a memory.” he hummed, his blue optics lightly shining with comfort.

“Heh, maybe Ironhide is ready for a cushy office job?” the porsche joked lightly, hearing you and Optimus chuckle. The red mech had to wait, just as soon as Ratchet fixes him up, he’ll be ready for action.

Once he was carried inside the ambulance, everyone went into alt-mode and rode back to base quickly. The sound of engines lightly rumbled in the air, making sure to avoid hitting anything that could damage them.

“You alright up there, [Name]?” The prime uttered, having a feeling that you were keeping an optic in the area, since you were the only one that could go in the air in alt-mode.

“Yeah, just making sure we don’t get snuck up on.” you replied, your voice box held exhaustion. As soon as you all headed back to base, you were going to recharge, your bio-lights were slowly going dimmed.

Arriving at the base, you went into bot-mode, striding your way inside. You felt a servo on your shoulder plating, making you turn around to see Optimus. “Here, I wanted to give you this.” in his other servo, he was holding an autobot symbol badge.

“Thanks, Op.” you hummed faintly, taking the badge from his servo as you placed it on your left arm plating. The prime noticed the designed ink on your arm plantings, making him smile a bit behind his mask. Vorns ago, every time he got a chance to see you, there was a new ink design on your plantings.

He even remembered that your creator had some that matched yours as well. Within that thought, he wondered where your creator was, hoping that they went into hiding just like his creator.

He watched as you stride your way to Ravage, who was trapped in a cage that was left to be outside. Her growls slowly grew as you crouched in front of the cage, your expression remained unbothered as you gently booped your digit on her snout.

You swiftly retracted your digit back away from her, her snarls became known. She was basically a big cyber-cat, gently booping her snout once more, chuckling when she stopped as she starred at you for a few clicks before sitting down, emitting a faint growl from her intake.

“You know, I'm surprised that the decepticons have tried to rescue him…” Mirage muttered, earning a shrug from Hound, stating that the faction doesn’t care about anyone, not even their own.

Deciding to tease Ravage, Hound made a hologram to make an exact copy of Megatron. The act caused Ravage to growl at the army truck, but since you were next her, she still sat down. “Them holograms look so real, you wouldn’t even know the difference.” Mirage uttered.

After a few clicks, Hound gets an idea, snapping his digits. “You just gave me a great idea.” he chuckled with a small grin, striding his way inside the base with the blue and white mech beside him.

Faintly exhaling, you stood up from the ground, making your way inside to see what they were going to plan. You stood next to Prowl, carefully listening. “A hologram?” Optimus hummed with a questioning tone, waiting for Hound to explain more of the plan.

The dark-green mech stated that they could make a giant illusion that would trick the decepticons. It might just work, Prowl thought, his door wings slightly twitched at the idea. The leader thought it was a great idea, but right now, he needed everyone to recharge, making you and Prowl sigh in relief.

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

The next day, Hound and Mirage were outside of the base, contemplating on what to do. They needed to hurry and get supplies for their plan, hoping that it could help them get back to Cybertron.

The key to the cage that held Ravage was hanging onto Hound’s waist, as they went to look for Ironhide, the key unfortunately fell to the ground, right in front of the con’s cage. A faint snarl was emitted from her intake, carefully pulling the key towards her.

Grabbing it with her paw, she held it tightly to let herself out of the cage, the metal doors caused a loud bang when hitting the ground, alerting the autobots that were nearby. They chased after her, but she was slightly faster, jumping off small cliffs to get away freely.

They made their way back to base to alter the news to Optimus, saying that she got away. But that was all according to plan, a chuckle flowed from his lips. He instructs the army truck to make the illusion, pointing towards an open field that would do nicely.

Meanwhile, with the Decepticons, Ravage was able to report back to the communication officer. Transforming into a cassette, she entered Soundwave’s chest, informing what the autobots were planning.

“The rocket base is one hundred and forty kilometers west from the autobot’s base.” Her voice was low and raspy as she explained, hearing a pleased hum emit from the decepticon leader.

“Excellent, Ravage. The rocket fuel is the only recourse we need to defeat the Autobots and take control of Cybertron.” his red optics glowed with victory, but he was interrupted by his SIC.

“Right on schedule, aren’t we?” he mocked, crossing his arms as he turned towards the gray mech. “It’s time for action, not words! I am the leader of the future!” Megatron grumbled at the tri-colored seeker’s ambitions. He was already itching to shoot him, but they needed to get to the rocket base.

Taking flight, he was able to quickly locate the ‘base’, seeing a large silver platform that was spread out on the ground. Getting closer, he saw that the autobots were there as well.

“Decepticons, attack!” shooting his arm cannon, it landed on the ground, alerting the autobots. Before he could fire another, he was shot, his frame short-circuited, causing him to fall to his knees.

His red optics glowed with anger as it met yours, a faint smirk was present on your faceplate. ‘So this must be the cybertronian Starscream was talking about…’ he couldn’t help but smirk. ‘Interesting, that’s the second time I was shot by them and brought to my knees…’

As you were about to shoot one of the enemy, you noticed that there was no light in their optics. “Wait!” you alerted, making the rest of the autobots stop their fire. As decepticon came closer, you shot it in the chest, watching scrap and junk crumble to the ground. “They’re fakes!”

“T-that’s r-right, Prime. And good optic, [Name]” Megatron uttered, struggling to stand up as he was slowly recovering from short circuiting. “I was onto your little scheme from the start. Did you really think you could fool me by allowing Ravage to escape? Did you?

Optimus muttered under his breath. “Go on, Megatron. You’re in the driver seat…” he retorted back with a hint of annoyance in his voice. The gray mech let out a menacing cackle before taking flight, flying his way towards the real rocket base.

Up ahead, he smirks when he sees the humans trying to fight back against the aliens, but they are inefficient. Landing, he instructs Soundwave to make empty energon cubes and make the seekers prepare the fuel.

The process was easy, fast even. Megatron chuckled when he noticed that the autobots weren’t here to stop them, but something in his processor was telling him to keep an optic out. Once everything was ready, they all flew back to base, making sure to keep looking around.

Smirking, he flew next to his SIC, practically mocking and teasing the seeker. “So Starscream, I met the cybertronian you’re completely obsessed about. [Name], is it?” he inquired, watching the seeker’s optics widened. “They were able to bring me down to my knees twice with a single shot, way better than you.

The tri-colored seeker scoffed at his leader, but his lips tugged to form a smirk. “That means that you’re capable of being defeated, Megatron. When I become leader, I’ll have them by my side to rule.” he shot back, accelerating away from the gray mech.

The decepticon leader sneered at the seeker as they arrived at the base. They had piles of energon cubes, enough fuel for them to make it back to Cybertron. “Course: Back to Cybertron. spacecruiser fueled and ready for departure." The TIC informed.

“Then let’s prepare to blast off.” Megatron demands, watching the mechs get into position.

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

Back with the Autobots, everyone was outside of their base, listening to Optimus. “For the moment of truth, the Decepticons are in position to Cybertron. We have no choice but to attack them directly.” he stated firmly.

He explained that this was going to be a very difficult mission, asking for volunteers. “[Name]?” he called out, getting a nod from you. “Jazz?” He turns towards the porsche.

“Ya know it.” he replied with a toothy grin, his blue visor shining with excitement as he turned towards the others. “Step forward!” You three watch as Hound, Ironhide, Bumblebee, Trailbreaker, Ratchet, Prowl, and Wheeljack went into alt-mode.

Spike and his father jogged toward Hound, hopping on. “Let’s roll!” Optimus went into alt-mode and led the autobots towards the enemy's base. Transforming into a hoverbike, you took flight, hovering over them by at least a yard.

A tiny satellite emerged under you, scanning the deserted area for anything suspicious. Suddenly, you get an energy point nearby, scanning the details to see empty energon cubes that are laid on the ground.

Next to the pile, there was a shaped structure that looked like a small mountain. And to confirm a question that was started to process, you see a seeker heading inside, quickly comlinking the semi-truck. ::Optimus to [Name]. Their base is a few yards away.::

::Excellent.:: he replied before comlinking everyone. ::Autobots, surround the base!:: From above, you watched the surround the base quietly as you slowly descended, but not landing. Waiting a moment, everyone went into bot-mode, watching the disbelief expressions wash over the decepticons.

“Decepticons! We are under siege! Attack!” he demands, jumping in the air to transform into a blaster, landing in Skywarp’s servos. Firing at the autobots, they were able to dodge the attack. Taking out your magneto chain, you captured the purple seeker, stunning him and Megatron.

With great force, you swung them both towards the other two seekers, crashing to the ground. Going back to bot-mode, Megatron aimed his arm cannon towards the prime, but Bumblebee was quick to shoot it off his arm.

The red and blue mech thanked the scouter as he ran towards the gray mech. “It’s just you and me now, Megatron.” he watched an evil grin form on the decepticons lips, clutching his servos.

“Then you better get some help, Prime.” he sneered, running towards the autobot leader. Before he could land a punch, the prime tripped him, but not enough for him to fall onto the ground. Grabbing the gray mech’s arm, he flipped him over his shoulder plantings, slamming him into the ground.

“Call it off, Megatron!” the semi-truck demanded, trying to pin the mech to the ground. Before he could take action, Ravage pushed him off, snarling at the autobot leader. Quickly getting off the ground, Megatron shouts for retreat, alerting the faction head inside the spaceship.

Optimus and the autobots tried to shoot the ship down, but it was too late as Soundwave activated the thrusters, accelerating into the sky. The expression on your faceplate held frustration, annoyed that they got away. ‘Scrap…’

“It’s alright everyone,” the prime hummed with a low tone, getting everyone’s attention. “As long as my time is okay, I’m okay.” Looking around, he noticed that a certain blue and white mech was missing. “Where’s Mirage…?”

His team stared at him and the other in confusion, hearing a chuckle emit from Hound’s intake. “I think he was able to come up with a plan.”

Somewhere in the decepticon carrier, Soundwave was at the control panel, making sure that everything is stable as Starscream and Megatron were arguing as always. There were times where he had to process why they do this every time.

Suddenly, a loud, blaring alarm goes off. A robotic voice is followed by it. “Autobot intruder! Autobot intruder!” the TIC quickly turns around to see Mirage reappearing a few feet away from the three, shooting the stations and other control panels.

Starscream quickly turns around and shoots the autobot, stunning him. Megatron quickly goes over to the communication officer, the arms getting louder by the klick. “No! Soundwave, you gotta keep it steady or we’ll crash!” he exclaimed.

“I’ll s-say hello to prime for you, Megatron! Happy landing!” The decepticon leader turns around to see Mirage grinning at him before jumping out of the ship. He maneuvers his frame to accelerate faster to the ground, making sure to have a parachute out.

You and the autobots watched as the ship crashed into the large body of water, the sound of cheers echoed from everyone. Lifting your gaze upwards, you pointed in the air. “Guys, there he is!”

Your alert caused them to look up, cheering for the blue and white mech. “You did it, Mirage!” Hound cheered with a proud grin, watching him safely land on his pedes. “You could’ve waited for the rest of us to go to Cybertron.”

Mirage chuckled sheepishly at the tease, stating that the ship was full, causing the others to chuckle. “All right, autobots. Let’s get back to base and go home.” Everyone smiled before going into alt-mode, making their way back to base.

Chapter Text

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

A few months had passed since the Decepticons’ ship blew up and crashed into the water. Some felt like it was over, thinking that the evil faction was finally finished. But there was a feeling that they’re going to show up again.

Right now, you, Optimus, and Ironhide can be seen standing near a cliff that was close to base. Glancing down at the water, Optimus had a feeling that something wasn’t right. Before he could speak, the sound of gunfire hitting a mountain structure nearby got everyone’s attention.

“Decepticons!”

Turning around, you can see Cliffjumper shooting at what appears to be a pillar that nearly looked like a decepticon. Moving out of the way so the debris wouldn’t try to damage you, a flat expression was present on your faceplate.

The short red mech emitted a nervous chuckle. “Sorry guys, it just looked like one of them.” he explained, earning a huff from Ironhide.

“We sent those oversized tin cans to the bottom of the sea months ago. They’re gone for good, right, Optimus?” glancing towards the red and blue mech, his gaze was back on the water, that feeling was coming back again.

“I wish I could believe that, Ironhide…” he replied, hearing you hum with agreement as your gaze landed on the ocean, watching the waves crash at the bottom.

Meanwhile, somewhere deeper in the water. The decepticons ship was still underwater, but the mechs inside were still alive. “They really think they defeated us…” Megatron rasped, hoping to get one of the communicators working.

Pressing a few buttons, a static screen turned on, revealing a familiar purple mech that he hasn’t seen in so long. “Planet Cybertron to Megatron. Can you hear me?” The voice belonged to a familiar scientist.

“Ah, Shockwave. I see that you’re still alive.” the leader hummed with a faint grin. He noticed the slump posture on the scientist, his single yellow optic was dimmed to the point of nearly being offline.

“Megatron, our supply of energon cubes is dangerously low. But our new intergalactic transportation system is almost finished.” Shockwaves stated, watching Megatron’s optics shine at the good news.

“Excellent. We’ll suck this entire planet dry!” He had already come up with a plan as he swam up to the surface, flying near the factories where the rest of the decepticons were already here. He could hear the screams of the humans inside, meaning that Soundwave already started attacking.

Blasting a hole in the with his arm cannon, he demanded the telepath to make energon cubes while the seekers fill them. But they were unaware that it alerted signals all over town that it was losing power, which also alerted the Autobots.

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

Back to the other faction, Optimus had shown a map to the autobots on the telegram, his optics widened for a moment when he saw Megatron raising one of the factories. “He lives…”

Turning around, he already had some of the members ready on standby. Which was you, Prowl, Ratchet, Ironhide, and Cliffjumper. The others were doing patrol duties, so they had to be careful. Bumblebee rushed inside the main room, standing next to the short red mech.

“B-bumblebee’s here.” he uttered, wanting to go with them as well.

Optimus nodded as he instructed everyone to go into their alt-modes. One by one, everyone transformed, revving their engines as you flew a couple of feet in the air. “Autobots, head to the power station!”

Transforming, everyone followed the semi-truck on the edge of the mountains, heading towards the outskirts of town. Hovering a few yards in the air, you searched for the many power stations that’ve been raided.

Searching near the few that was far from the others, you see one that fumed with black smoke, quickly alerting the others. ::Power station on the far end to the right is smoking, Op.::

::Excellent, [Name]. Autobots, split up!:: the semi-truck quickly replied, quickly picking up the pace as you, Cliffjumper, Ironhide, and Prowl drove near the side of the building while the others went on the other side.

Going into bot-mode, Cliffjumper was the first one to jump in from the ceiling, followed by the rest of them. “I got you know, Megatron!” The shorter mech made an attempt to attack the gray mech, only for him to be smacked into the wall.

“Do you really think you can hurt me-” his sentence was cut off as he was hit in the back of the helm by a powerful blow, making him stumble to the ground. Sharply turning towards the attacker, his lips formed a wicked grin. “Well, if it isn’t autobot’s precious TIC.”

Your optics narrowed as you were about to attack him again, but you felt Optimus’s servo on your shoulder plating. “I’ll take care of this, [Name].” he reassured, getting a silent nod from you as you went to help Bumblebee fend off Lazerbeak.

Prowl and Ratchet were able to destroy some of the energon cubes that were made, but they were fired with a shock ray by Starscream as his trinemates already took flight in their alt-mode.

“It’s good to see you again, Prime.” the decepticon leader sneered, standing up from the metal ground to face the autobot leader. Optimus grumbled behind his back as he dodged the blow that was aimed at him.

He made an attempt to shoot Megatron, but it was kicked out of his servo as he received a blow to his side. Crashing against the wall, he managed to dodged the blast from Megatron as they locked servos, pushing each other back and forth, trying to get the advantage.

Megatron swept his pede under the autobot, watching Optimus fall to the ground as he charges up his arm cannon. Unfortunately, he was shot by your pulse blaster, making him short-circuit before he could attack his arch-nemesis. Soundwave was able to catch him before he hit the ground.

“W-we already h-have everything we need. D-decepticons, retreat!” he demanded with a stutter as his TIC carried him and few out of the power station. Turning around, you see Ratchet carrying the other weapon specialist, Ironhide.

“He’s been shot in both shoulder platings.” the medic stated, watching a small stream of gray fumes emerge from the red mech. Nodding, the Prime stated a retreat back to base, wanting Ironhide to be fixed right away.

As Ratchet went into alt-mode, you and Prowl carefully placed him inside the ambulance before transforming and following Optimus. The smell of gas and energon fluids fumed the air, making your nose ridge scrunch up from the smell.

Heading out of the power station’s perimeter, you made sure to keep an optic out for any decepticons that’ll try to sneak attack you all. Finally arriving at base, you and Prowl carefully placed the injured mech on the medical berth.

“He just needs some R an R; replace and rebuild.” the medic hummed, taking some of the damaged parts out of Ironhide. He tried to stop the medic, saying that he doesn’t need the treatment.

“Yeah, yeah, just rest up.” Ratchet chuckled as he pressed a small button that was near his upper chassis, making his frame lay down to rest. “That should do it.”

A couple of feet away, you were sitting down on a small boulder while Bumblebee, Jazz and Prowl sat nearby on other small structures. “So Megatron got away with the energon cubes, huh?” the porsche questioned.

“He got away with some of them, Prowl and Ratchet were able to destroy some before they could escape.” you muttered reply, crossing your arms across your chassis. The analyst's doorwings twitched as he started to speak.

“But he still has to find a transporter to get the energon back to Cyberton. We don’t even know if they even have a ship, but I know that they’re up to something…” the beetlebug nodded in agreement as he heard Optimus striding near them.

“Bumblebee, I want you to spy on the decepticons.” the blue and red mech instructed. Spike wanted to go as well, getting a nod from the scout as he went into alt-mode so the boy could get in.

As they drove off, you glanced towards the prime. “You want me to go with him just in case?” you hummed, watching him shake his helm.

“He’ll be alright. We can’t risk any more of our members getting hurt.” he reassured, wanting everyone to be safe.

Bumblebee can be seen driving down a long road that was surrounded by nothing but mountain like-tarrians. “We ain’t getting nowhere if we go at this pace. How’re we supposed to spy on the enemy?” he muttered, wanting to pick up the pace.

Spike looked out the window, pointing towards a certain direction. “Drive along the riverbed, maybe we can find something there.” Taking the idea, the scout drove off the road and near the riverbed, making sure the boy was out as he went into bot-mode.

They carefully searched along the deep riverbed, his blue optics narrowed as he sees some familiar decepticons near a long machine. Crouching, they watched closely as Megatron can be speaking into a device.

“Shockwave, prepare for the test run. The space gate will open in five seconds.”

Nearby, there was a small ship that held energon cubes inside, watching them glow brightly inside. As the countdown finished, the test ship went into the space gate, causing the ground to rumble as a small portal opened a few meters in the air.

Electricity sparks littered the ground as the portal exploded. The test ship that held the energon was destroyed. “Shockwave, report.” Megatron demanded.

“Test aborted. No sign of the test vehicle.” he replied through the device, hearing his leader grumble from the other line as he heard muffled snickers from the SIC.

“Your spacebridge is worthless.” Starscream sneered, his red optics glowed with pride and ambition. “I will find a way to transport the cubes.”

Megatron glared at the tri-colored seeker. “You will do nothing. The vehicle just needs guidance over the spacebridge.” He noticed that his SIC and TIC were staring at something, chuckling slowly when he saw Bumblebee and his human friend trip and fall into the riverbed.

“Looks like we found some volunteers… Load the prisoners!” Skywarp held a wide grin as he grabbed the two individuals, placing them inside the next test ship that held energon inside.

“You two should be proud,” Megatron mocked with a sinister smile as he held the communication device to his lips. “Megatron to Shockwave, come in. We’ve prepared the second test ship.”

As they were preparing the second test, Bumblebee quickly went into alt-mode and broke out of the machine, driving away swiftly as Spike followed him. He was trying to hop inside the car, but he tripped and fell to his face.

Taking the advantage, Soundwave released Ravage, instructing her to grab the human. The autobot scout made an attempt to rescue him, but Spike beat him to it. “Don’t worry about me, Bumblebee!”

Huffing, the beetlebug quickly drove out of the riverbed, driving in zigzag to avoid the attacks from the seekers. Driving through tight spaces in the mountain terrain, he was hit in the rear, making him crash into a wall.

Going into bot-mode, he couldn’t escape as the purple and black seeker held him down. “Good work, Starscream and Skywarp!” Megatron hummed as he placed a small device on Bumblebee’s helm. “I just need to rewire his memory chips, and he’ll lead the Autobots to their doom!”

•❅──────✧❅✦❅✧──────❅•

Half an hour had passed since Optimus had sent Bumblebee to spy on the decepticons. A worried feeling started to slowly fill your processor, glancing at the pacing human who was Spike’s father.

Suddenly, the sound of an engine revved nearby, alerting you and the rest of the autobots as they see the scout driving back. “Bumblebee! Where’s Spike?” the man inquired, watching him go into bot-mode.

The scout explained that he was captured by the decepticons, saying that he was going to be sent into Cybertron in a spacebridge. You noticed how stiff he was, as if he was caught doing something.

“Do you know where the spacebridge is?” You questioned, your dimmed optics scanned the scout.

“The bridge… the bridge,” your optics slowly narrowed as he stuttered out answer before he went stiff, his voice was slightly monotone than regular. “The bridge is located in a cave, 96.4 miles from the highway.”

“Then we must roll out and destroy that bridge as soon as possible!” Optimus announced as he went into alt-mode, followed by you, Prowl, Jazz, Ironhide, and Ironhide. Following the scout, you all were unaware of a certain cassette that was watching from above, quickly flying away to report back to the decepticons.

Hovering over the long road, you see a large opening of a cave that held the desired location. Transforming, you all cautiously followed the scout, watching him freeze for a second. His voice was back to normal, as if he just got out of a trance. “W-what…? I don’t get it.”

Your sensors then picked up something from a few feet away, seeing a certain arm cannon charging up a bright blast. “Take cover!” hearing your voice, the autobots quickly hide behind small structures.

Megatron, followed by Starscream and Soundwave, fired multiple blasts on the ceiling inside the cave, blocking the entrance. The autobots fired back, their attacks clashing with the decepticons.

Jazz was quick to break off a large spike on the ground, swinging it like a baseball bat that made the laser hit Starscream right in the chest, making him stumble to his pede. “You measly autobot!”

The porsche taunted with a chuckle, his blue visor shined in the dark cave. “Then keep your optics open, screamer!” he shot back. Soundwave quickly released Lazerbeak, hoping to distract their opponents.

Taking the advantage, you quickly press a button on the side of your helm, emitting small waves towards the robotic bird. Once it surrounded the cassetticon, you started to control it with your processor.

“How many abilities do you have?” Prowl stared in awe as you controlled Lazerbeak to attack their own faction.

“Plenty!” you chuckled, knocking down Soundwave with his own cassette. Pressing the button, you stopped controlling the bird, not wanting to helmache. While Prowl and Jazz were taking down the seeker, Optimus clashed with Megatron.

Aiming his blaster, he was able to get a hit on the gray mech’s back, hearing him shout in pain. Megatron quickly hid behind a large structure, using the dust to his advantage. Suddenly, he was getting a comlink from Shockwave.

::Shockwave to Megatron! Do you hear me-::

::Not now, Shockwave. Now’s not the time!:: he replied, firing a blast from his arm cannon towards Ironhide, but Optimus quickly pulled him away before he could get hit.

::Megatron, the spacebridge is about to open! It’s ready!:: taking in the information, Megatron calls for a retreat, blasting their way out of the cave. Starscream scowled at his leader, needing to know why they were retreating.

Ignoring his second-in-command, he dashed his way out of the cave, shooting the ceiling of the cave to trap you and the autobots. A heavy sigh flowed from your lips, turning towards Bumblebee who was sitting against a small structure with a blank expression.

“Kid…? Bumblebee?” you uttered, getting the others' attention.

“Let me take a look, [Name].” Ratchet hummed as he scanned the beetlebug. “It looks like his memory chip was rewired.” pressing a few buttons inside the scout’s chassis, he carefully closed it, watching Bumblebee’s optics grow into bright blue color. “Do you know where you saw the spacebridge?"

The yellow autobot blinked for a few klicks before a small grin landed on his faceplate. “I remember now! The riverbed in the desert!” he stated. Optimus was quick to instruct everyone to fire at the blocked opening, making a large entrance to escape.

“Roll out!” going into alt-mode, you all emerged out of the cave and headed towards the desert, which wasn’t that long of a journey. Hovering ahead, you spotted the riverbed, quickly going ahead to stop the decepticons.

Your whisper cannons emerged from your alt-mode, shooting down the decepticons so they wouldn’t see the other autobots coming near them. One of them was able to shoot down Megatron and Soundwave, making them stumble to the ground.

“Ravage: Attack-” the TIC couldn’t get his demand out as he was shot down by Jazz, followed by Prowl throwing a large net at the cassette, trapping her. Bumblebee quickly drove towards the testing ship where Spike was being held hostage.

“Spike! Break the glass and grab onto me!” The human quickly broke off one of the handles inside the ship before breaking the glass with it. He had to time the jump right, not wanting to fall face flat on the ground to the point he might break a few bones.

Holding his breath, he jumps onto Bumblebee’s hood, making their escape. The testing ship was out of control, crashing into the walls of the space gate. Megatron’s optics glowed with frustration, quickly running to get the energon into the space gate.

Unfortunately, Optimus fired a perfect shot at the energon in the gray mech’s servos, making them explode as it pushed Megatron to the gate. The portal to Cybertron opened, forcing the decepticon leader to be sucked into it.

The autobots cheered as they watched the seekers and the telepath fly away from the riverbed, retreating back to their base. “I can’t believe it, Megatron got sucked into his own spacebridge!” Bumblebee joined in with the laughter, getting thanks from Spike and his father.

You landed near Prowl and Jazz, helping them destroy the spacebridge. “How long do you think he’ll come back this time?” you muttered, your voice held exhaustion wanting to recharge when heading back to base.

Prowl hummed for a bit, his doorwings lowered to finally relax. “Probably a few solar-cycles… Which isn’t enough for us to relax.” You and Jazz chuckled with the analyst in agreement before regrouping back with Optimus and the others.
