Chapter Text
Eddie is very much, not a fucking pervert. He is incredibly normal and well adjusted, thank you very much. At least, that's what he tells himself, over and over, while he tries to cover up his raging hard-on. The worst part, is it wasn't even from anything sexy; he would feel like less of a weirdo if it was.
You had insisted he sit his ass down and pour you both a drink while you finished up a couple repairs for the Breaker Box, intricate wire work that he couldn't do as well anymore with the ever permanent tremors in his hands. You had caught on quick to the maintenance work, better than he'd ever thought you would, to the point where you were almost entirely self-sufficient now. You only occasionally had to poke your head out to ask a question about wiring or the like.
And that's what you were doing now, half buried in the recesses of the power box, humming quietly as you steadily chipped away at the repairs. And he was sitting there, clutching his whiskey like a dying man, probably the most horny he's ever been in his entire non-life, all because you were unfairly fucking good at this.
"Eds, could you pass me the solder? Think I left it on the counter." You hummed, blindly sticking your hand out behind you. He gave a hum of affirmation, and wordlessly placed it in your hand, knowing if he opened his mouth it would be pleas for you to take him over the bar top, despite his rule about no fucking on the nice furniture.
You would be done soon- as long as he just stayed quiet and tried to keep his mind off how mouthwateringly amazing you looked kneeling in front of the panel you were currently working on, he would be fine. He would suffer through another terrible show, fall into bed with you and Volt, and pass it off as normal arousal, and not mind-numbing need brought on by watching you splice a wire.
That was, until you started narrating what you were doing. You liked to do that, sometimes, just mindless chatter that kept you entertained while grinding out busy work. Normally, he didn't mind it, even found it endearing, but right now it might be his undoing. It just proved how stupidly capable you were, which was only making his gut burn hotter and his pants grow tighter.
"Figured out what was making that bar light flicker. The wires you split came loose- kept wiggling every time someone breathed on 'em wrong. Just soldering it together instead of using the damn wire caps." You hummed, your voice steady as you worked. Low, reminding him of that time you talked them through it, commanded him and Volt's every movement while lounging back in the bed, watching like they were there for your amusement- that night still got frequent playing time in his more embarrassing dreams.
"Shit- Eds, pass me the flux, would you?" You asked, voicing your thanks when he placed it in your palm. "There we are. All finished." You leaned back with a sigh, wiping your hands on the work jeans you had got after you started helping him with maintenance. Your hands were a little more calloused now, in ways that spoke of good, hard work.
Trying to distract himself from that thought, he practically bolted behind the bar with the excuse of testing the light, attempting to hide the bulge in his thankfully loose slacks. Of course, the light worked perfectly, which only served to make his desire for you burn brighter, in a way that made him feel like a freak. He was this horny over a working lightbulb, it was ridiculous- of course, it wasn't the lightbulb, it was you, and your calloused hands, and steady voice, and capability- but that train of thought didn't serve to make him feel any less out of his mind with want for you.
He managed to strike up a somewhat normal conversation with you- usually, talking to you was effortless in the way it was with only one other, but with about 75% of his brainpower going to making sure he didn't grab you and drag you upstairs to the little flat him and Volt shared, he was lagging behind a tad bit.
Finally, Volt wandered downstairs, dressed for another night of hosting the club. He was thankful for the distraction- and what a nice distraction he made, his hair shiny and puffed up, the sleeves of his overcoat pushed up just enough that he could see the glint of copper bracelets framing slender wrists.
"Live wire, spark, I trust everything went alright with the repairs?" He asked, giving you a peck before leaning over the bar top to give him a matching one.
"Went just fine. Nothing we can't handle." He grumbled, leaning back for another kiss- before abruptly pulling away. He didn't want to rile himself up more than he already was. He already felt slightly sick with desire for the two of you, and he had a couple hours of bartending ahead of him. Volt gave him a sideways look at his jerky movements, but brushed it off in that smooth way he tended to.
"All ready for opening, Volt." You grimaced, looking up to him. "On that note- please tell me you're not having open mic night tonight. I really don't think I can stand another one of Johnny's alter egos- it was funny at first, then it got kinda sad."
"Glad to hear it, my darling. And- people enjoy the open mic night!" He defended, though there was a sly grin on his face.
"People enjoy heckling. I think Cam comes in just to boo Johnny." Eddie piped up, pouring Volt a drink. Ok, he could do this. He was great at pretending everything was fine. Just a couple hours of socializing and pouring drinks, and he could either fall into bed with you two or sneak off and work it out himself. He was fine.
"Mhm, agree to disagree-" Volt hummed, taking a deep swig of his cocktail, "Just how I like it, spark. Thank you." He said, giving you both good-byes before wandering off to go fiddle with the sound system.
As people started ambling in, he really was getting distracted, letting the busy work absorb his thoughts. Until Volt hopped onto the stage, the lights dimming except for around him. God, he was electric up there, commanding the attention of everyone in the room effortlessly. And he was hard again. Jesus fucking wept- why was he like this. Volt looked beautiful like that, his white hair almost glowing in the dim light, but it wasn't just that that was making Eddie's knees almost buckle- it was how well he spoke, keeping everyone entertained like he was born to do it.
It was so easy, for him, in a way socializing never was for Eddie. The way he talked, that pleasant lilt that made you want to lean closer, the welcoming air about him- he could just watch him talk for hours. And watch he did, because Volt looked stunning up there. Tending to the bar, and the not currently enamoured patrons, had entirely slipped his mind.
The dirty rag in his hands was practically being choked out with how hard he was gripping it, his eyes locked on Volt. He couldn't stand there and pretend to be fine while you both fucking- showed off in the most horribly sexy way possible. He was overcome with another wave of desire for the both of you, and slammed down the rag on the bar top, walking away. He was done.
