Chapter Text
He gripped the edge of the windowsill, its metal cold against his palm.
Mud from the storm earlier clung to the bottom of his jeans as he ducked out, setting the soles of his worn out leather boots on the first rung of the ladder.
It was rickety, shaking as he slowly climbed down.
"Gi-hun, come on! It's already eleven," Jung-bae shouted loudly. His voice echoed in the alleyway of the apartments, where he stood on the dark street below.
Gi-hun craned his neck down to glare at him, through the city's faint glowing lights. "Keep your voice down," he hissed, as quiet as he could. "I had to wait for mom to sleep."
Jung-bae simply flipped him off in response, impatient as always.
Gi-hun scowled and climbed down faster.
Even though he was about to start uni, his mother still had him on a tight leash. Gi-hun couldn't be mad at her though, considering he never paid attention to school the way he should've.
He got himself stuck in...situations instead, and he almost lost his balance on the last rung of the ladder. It was slippery from rain that poured hard now, and he steadied himself with a tight grip.
When he finally reached the lowest rung, he internally groaned, knowing he'd have to make the jump down.
He only sometimes successfully landed.
Gi-hun closed his eyes before doing it.
His palms scraped the wet cement now, tiny pebbles pushing into the skin of his hands.
"There we go, finally," Jung-bae laughed, patting him on the back. "You okay?"
Gi-hun nodded, accepting the hand Jung-bae offered. He stood up in a puddle and wiped the dirt off of his tattered jeans.
"Man, I can't believe your mom hasn't caught on yet," Jung-bae said in disbelief, at another successful mission.
"I know," Gi-hun admitted with a wide, crooked smile. He knew one of these days his luck would run out.
Until then, he'd spend it sneaking off with his friends past the hours his mother would normally allow him out when he'd yet to study, or clean, or do any of the other things she'd told him to do.
There was always tomorrow, but it was only today that Jun-ho's own mother would be out.
That meant Jun-ho was throwing one of his parties the way he always did when she was gone, and there was no fucking way Gi-hun was going to miss that.
"Race you there!" Gi-hun shouted, already knowing he'd win.
He shot away, leaving Jung-bae behind to struggle to catch up. It was payback for his best friend rushing him down the ladder, and almost waking up the entire apartment complex with his screaming.
It took long to get there, and Gi-hun eventually resorted to walking. It was always a journey when he didn't have enough money to catch a bus. Jun-ho practically lived on the other side, where there were lavish houses, not rusting apartments.
But Jun-ho wasn't spoiled like the rest of them, and it was why Gi-hun befriended him back in high school, even though he couldn't stand the others his age who lived in that neighborhood.
"Did he change the passcode?" Gi-hun asked, typing the four digits he had memorized for the gates.
"His brother," Jung-bae sighed, coming over to punch in a new combination. "Jun-ho said he had a talk, and In-ho was suspicious about the 'company you host.'"
Gi-hun laughed as Jung-bae mocked him. He found Jun-ho's brother stuck up from all he'd heard about him. Of course he wouldn't want less than posh people in his house that was practically a manor.
"If that old bastard cares so much, then maybe he should be home," Gi-hun scoffed.
Jung-bae hummed in agreement.
it was true; In-ho was always busy working, always at the office, always out being a detective and dealing with criminals like he had no other purpose in his life.
Gi-hun had never even met the man, and he'd been over to Jun-ho's many times, sometimes even slept there.
It was like In-ho didn't exist, only in name alone. He was a shadow that lingered over the house in moments like these, where the gates finally clanked open.
"Hey! Leave it open," Jun-ho greeted, as he came outside. "I invited everybody."
And Gi-hun knew everybody meant everybody.
Hyun-ju, and Young-sik, and Jeong-tae, and the rest of his friends, some that Gi-hun knew and a lot that he didn't. Maybe he could hook up with one of those strangers.
It had been a while since he'd been able to fuck, with his mother making him focus on his studies because he was about to start uni now.
Gi-hun gave a thumbs up from afar as he propped the gate open.
Music blasted loudly as he walked closer, reverberating with each step on the pristine driveway.
The lawn was done, fresh flowerbeds set for the April shower weather, and the stairs were clean, shining.
Gi-hun entered, grabbing a cup of beer that Jun-ho poured for him.
They started playing games, the way they always did. Gi-hun never lost, and he grinned, taking the money Jung-bae had betted. More of his friends filled in, with Dae-ho joining the games.
And then came more unrecognizable faces that started pouring in, the ones that were essentially strangers to Gi-hun.
Jun-ho did know too many people. He was easy to get along with and made all sorts of friends back in high school, at sports and now at early uni meet and greets before the semester started.
Gi-hun knew that much, but he himself kept to his quaint circle of those he knew for years.
There was sometimes Sang-woo when they weren't fucking, but when they were, it always ended badly, with a few weeks of no contact and awkward avoidance from Gi-hun's own end.
It's why Gi-hun preferred strangers when it came to fucking after all. He valued closeness in his friendships more than he’d ever in a relationship.
He just didn't expect to see him so suddenly after their last argument.
"Fuck, you didn't tell me Sang-woo was going to be here," Gi-hun hissed, pushing Jung-bae. He almost knocked down his cup of beer and feared making a scene.
Jun-ho had disappeared to greet some other friends, and Gi-hun planned on how to strangle him for inviting Sang-woo.
"I didn't know," Jung-bae apologized, seeming sincere about it. "Wanna bounce?"
"No," Gi-hun sighed, "it's stupid. I'll just go for a smoke." He didn't want this one thing to ruin their night.
Jung-bae patted his shoulder reassuringly. "Okay, don't take too long. We still have one more round to play," he reminded him. "I want my money back."
Gi-hun gave a small smile at that.
He made his way through the throng of people.
It smelled like alcohol and sweat, crowded in the lavish manor. He walked up the marble stairs that sprawled and found peace, but there was one place that brought even more.
Gi-hun opened the door on the far right, to In-ho's room.
The scent of him was always strong, taking over his senses. The scotch, smoke, and mint melted into a heady thing that eased him.
Gi-hun turned on the dim lights, the floor thumping below.
He was only addicted from afar.
He didn't want to meet the man. It was obvious In-ho had no interest in anyone save for his brother and mother. He was a workaholic, a detective. Older.
But his room was comforting, even if it was drab colors, all dull blacks, whites, and grays.
Gi-hun had snuck in many times, whenever Jun-ho threw one of his parties and he needed to slip away to smoke.
Jun-ho had once stole the cigarettes In-ho kept in his bottom drawer, and Gi-hun used that to his advantage now.
Jun-ho never minded it, and In-ho was never here to say otherwise if he was bothered by it.
Jun-ho just didn't know Gi-hun stayed in his brother's room longer than he should've. Staying there was off limits, because apparently In-ho was a control freak, another stuck up thing about him.
Gi-hun learned more about In-ho there, because all he did know was that after Jun-ho's father had died—when he was too young to even comprehend—In-ho had always worked hard to ensure he and his mother could have the world.
And yet, he wasn't in a single picture of all the framed photos that filled the house.
Gi-hun almost felt bad for rummaging through his things. He tried to find the pack of menthols that were usually stocked in the nightstands bottom drawer, but it was empty this time.
In-ho didn't have much stocked. Just clothes, watches, and expensive colognes. No condoms. No lube.
He was truly a soulless, lifeless man.
Gi-hun flopped down on the bed as he could only think of what he might do now.
The music thumped below, and he could hear the loud chatter of his friends and strangers combined. But Sang-woo was there, and those unfamiliar faces that screamed rich, and all of it made him regret going against his mother's wishes.
Maybe he should just let Sang-woo fuck him to settle the argument, or take the first stranger that was interested in him, as long as he was handsome.
Gi-hun didn't think he was shallow, but he knew his friends would say otherwise.
He thought about what to do, as In-ho's scent was the only thing that comforted him, so he buried his face in the pillows.
The door opened then, and Gi-hun shot up, trying to kick the nightstand drawers closed. He ended up hurting his ankle more than anything else, with a loud thud.
"Fuck," Gi-hun cursed, glancing up to find one of those unfamiliar faces. "Can I help you?" He asked, his eyes raking slowly over the man.
Because he was handsome. Unfairly handsome, with dark eyes, dark hair, and a dark gaze to top it all off. He looked a few years older, but that was never an issue to Gi-hun. It made the man more attractive, if anything.
Gi-hun wet his lips, suddenly having an itch that needed to be scratched. Something a cigarette wouldn't satiate.
He was going to ask Jun-ho who this mystery man was later. For now, though, he wanted to enjoy.
"Did you want something from me?" Gi-hun asked, looking up through his lashes and tilting his head the tiniest bit, the thing he knew drove Sang-woo and all the others crazy.
The man before him halted, something in his composure cracking at the seems as his fingers flexed, and then balled into a fist.
"Do you know whose bed you're in?" The older man asked, his voice a low rumble, firm almost. It was something soothing yet dangerous at the same time, and it curled around the edges of Gi-hun's desire.
Gi-hun needed to hear more. "Yeah," he hummed, with a teasing smile. "It belongs to Jun-ho's older brother. He must be like graying or balding and gets off to his work. I'm sure he won't find out."
The older man shut the door behind him, blocking the exit.
Checkmate.
Gi-hun thought the man might pounce on him now, but all he did was remove his long black overcoat. It revealed a white button up that clung to him tightly, to each muscle that flexed with his movements.
Gi-hun's mouth went dry in want.
And then his eyes went wide as he saw the fucking badge around his neck, reflecting through the dull lights.
Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
Gi-hun froze. With dread, as he realized this was Hwang In-ho.
He scrambled to stand up, but In-ho still blocked the door with his body, and a firm look in his eyes.
Of course he'd be pissed, there was a stranger in his bed rummaging through his things, talking about fucking there.
Gi-hun burned red, and ducked his head down. "S-sorry about that," he apologized, feeling thoroughly embarrassed. "It won't happen again."
"Are you looking for this?" In-ho asked, ignoring his apology.
Gi-hun glanced up to find the older man holding a pack of cigarettes. "No," he lied. "I was looking for the bathroom."
"I guess it's a coincidence they've been disappearing, and you were searching my drawers," In-ho said, calling him out on his bullshit.
Gi-hun internally cursed again. Of course In-ho would notice, he was one of Seoul's top detectives, for fucks sake.
Gi-hun figured he couldn't make the situation any worse, so he glumly nodded.
"Fine, I'm sorry about it," he apologized truthfully this time. "Cigarettes are expensive, so I'll leave now, if you just..." Gi-hun trailed off, as In-ho still blocked the door.
The older man looked unimpressed, just as stern as Jun-ho described him as. His gaze was dark, so Gi-hun tried avoiding that, thinking of all the ways he'd imagined In-ho before, never planning to actually run into him.
To get caught by him.
He was sure the man was graying, maybe balding, or at least pushing an old age with how Jun-ho described him as old man.
Gi-hun didn't know how to get out of this so he asked what was on the tip of his tongue.
"Are you gonna arrest me or something?"
In-ho assessed him for a moment, eyes raking up and down Gi-hun’s body. "Will you steal from me again?"
"No," Gi-hun lied. "I won't.”
"We both know that's not true," In-ho said inquisitively, reading through him. "Stay."
Gi-hun's pulse suddenly raced, his heart thudding in his chest. He thought In-ho might just flat out murder him. He wouldn't put it past the man, with some of the punishments Jun-ho had talked about.
He remembered Jun-ho explaining he always finished his vegetables now after his brother had locked him in the bathroom as a kid when he'd refused.
Gi-hun decided that if he was already fucked, he might as well get what he came here for.
"Will I get a cigarette?" Gi-hun asked, his words trembling the tiniest bit as if he had the choice to leave.
In-ho leveled him with a silent glare.
Gi-hun obeyed, sitting back down on the bed, to stay.
"Are you always this stuck up?" Gi-hun dared to ask, eyeing the window in case he needed to escape.
"Do you always steal from your friends?"
Gi-hun shrugged. "It's not like Jun-ho cares. And you're never home."
"So it's an invitation to steal? To try and have sex in my bed?" There was an accusation in In-ho's words, something sharp.
"I didn't know you were...you," Gi-hun lamely explained. "I've never fucked in your bed, anyways. I have my own to do that."
He saw something flash in In-ho's gaze, but he was sure he imagined it.
Why would In-ho care who he was fucking?
"Well, I'll be talking to Jun-ho about house rules later. Apparently he didn't understand why I changed the gates code," In-ho sighed.
He was just as strict as he was in the stories Gi-hun had been told. It was unfair, how a man so handsome acted so grim.
"Don't be harsh on Jun-ho for throwing a party. We always clean up after," Gi-hun said, only realizing he'd slipped up when the damage was already done.
"So he's thrown parties before," In-ho caught on, with a somber look on his face.
"Can-can I leave now?" Gi-hun asked, not wanting to ruin his friendship any further.
He didn't like to be held hostage.
"Why did you want to smoke?" In-ho asked, stepping forward to shut his nightstands drawers closed.
"Are we playing twenty-one questions?" Gi-hun muttered, pulling his legs to himself as he sat criss cross on the edge of the bed now.
"I've heard you like games."
"And how do you know me?"
"Jun-ho talks about you," In-ho answered easily.
"Hmm, well, I'm trying to avoid someone, actually," Gi-hun admitted in truth.
In-ho regarded him a moment, his gaze still distant but not as cold as it was before. "You can stay here, if you'd like."
Gi-hun cocked his head, confused. "Why?"
In-ho didn't answer. He simply at the desk in the corner of his room and set down files, going through them.
He appeared to be doing his work at home, now.
Gi-hun couldn't help but groan. "I was right. You definitely get off to your work."
In-ho didn't scowl, but he didn't look impressed, and he didn't lift his head up once he started writing about whatever case he was viewing now. The police logo on the vanilla folder shone through the faint light.
"I'm not graying, as you said," In-ho finally sighed.
Gi-hun couldn't deny that. "You are much more younger and handsome than I expected," he murmured in agreement.
In-ho stopped writing for a brief moment, but had nothing to say in response. He seemed robotic about it, almost unsure. It made Gi-hun curious to know more about the mystery that he was.
"Is there really nothing more for you but work?" Gi-hun asked, suddenly staying by choice now.
"Don't you have your own work you should be doing instead of partying?"
Gi-hun laughed. "Yeah, but I want to live."
"Why don't you go live then?" In-ho scowled, obviously taking offense to his words.
"Can't. My ex is downstairs," Gi-hun said wryly. "Well, we were never together, but sometimes we fuck and sometimes we're just friends."
"What are you now?" In-ho asked, not seeming to care much about it as he resumed his writing, so Gi-hun didn't know why he asked.
"Right now we're not either," Gi-hun answered anyways. "So, I'm avoiding him. But enough about me, I might never see you again since you're always working."
"Are you mocking me?"
Gi-hun laughed again. "No, I'm being serious this time. I think it's nice that you care so much about keeping your family afloat...but you have to remember to think about yourself too, you know?"
"I have everything I need."
"Which is?"
"A bed. A badge. Tteokbokki."
The last one made Gi-hun burst out laughing, and In-ho gazed up this time, staring at him unimpressed.
Gi-hun felt bad almost, for laughing as the man poured his heart out in a way he was sure In-ho never did.
"Fine, fine, I'm sorry. But have you ever thought about a girlfriend?"
"No," In-ho sighed, the reply instant. He continued writing and sorting papers, like it was nothing.
"Boyfriend?" Gi-hun dared to ask, curious.
In-ho regarded him a moment, then continued with his work. "No."
And that's when it clicked.
"Holy shit," Gi-hun suddenly yelled in disbelief. "You're a virgin!"
He didn't mean to ridicule him, but it came out that way. Because the gorgeous man before him had absolutely no experience, and that in itself was a crime, even if he was just a few years older.
In-ho seemed to be avoiding his gaze then. There was a slight flush on his features, turning them ruddy. He unbuttoned the first two buttons of his dress shirt, and went back to the files.
Gi-hun's gaze lingered there, at the exposed skin where In-ho was overheated.
"I have experience in things that matter," In-ho suddenly said with a scowl, defending himself. It was obvious he found the word virgin demeaning.
"Right, well, it'd be pretty sad if you didn't know how to fuck someone like you mean it when the time comes," Gi-hun pointed out, even if the truth was harsh. "Don't you think so?"
"I don't plan on that moment ever occurring."
"Fucking?"
In-ho didn't respond. He busied himself with sorting papers into vanilla colored files now.
An idea suddenly came to Gi-hun's mind, fueled by his intrigue for the man.
"I could help you learn," he offered, knowing he had the upper hand—more experience—in this one thing. "If you want."
In-ho still didn't look up, but he didn't outright deny him either. He instead averted his gaze enticingly, and Gi-hun felt all the desire he had for In-ho earlier rush back, before he'd known who he truly was, when he was just a handsome face that he tried to seduce.
And somehow, knowing who he was now beneath his cold exterior made him all the more warmer. Sweeter. More vulnerable. He wanted to unwrap him like a candy and suck, if In-ho would just let him.
"You know why you're good at your work?" Gi-hun asked, standing up from the bed. "It's because you practiced."
"Practice does usually make perfect," In-ho simply said, still focused on his papers. But his grip on the pen was tight, and the flush on him grew deeper the closer Gi-hun walked.
"It does," Gi-hun hummed in agreement. "And I have experience in things that matter to me."
He reached the front of In-ho's desk and stood there, peering down at the older man.
"Do you want me to tell you how I like to be fucked?" Gi-hun asked bluntly, watching as the man fell apart.
"I-what?" In-ho stammered, closing his file. He seemed taken aback, at a loss for words. "I think you should leave."
"But you wanted me to stay," Gi-hun reminded him with a knowing smile. "C'mon, you need to loosen up. Or you could help me."
"Gi-hun."
"You do know my name," Gi-hun observed, finding satisfaction in that. In-ho opened his mouth but quickly closed it.
"That's step one," Gi-hun praised him lightly, "but I like the other man to be moaning it instead."
In-ho looked as lost as a puppy then, apparently never being treated in such a manner. He stared at him with wide eyes, then cleared his throat, trying to gain some composure.
It was endearing, and Gi-hun wanted to toy with him for as long as he could, unsure if he'd have the chance to again with how In-ho was practically married to his work.
"Let me make it up to you for stealing. This way you get practice," Gi-hun persuaded him softly. Because if not, then In-ho might never get the experience.
And Gi-hun wanted nothing more than to take advantage of In-ho’s lack of it, even if it was mean.
"I'll make it easy for you," Gi-hun promised now, rounding the table to stand beside In-ho, rather than in front. "How about you tell me when to stop?"
In-ho stayed quiet, but he didn't object.
Gi-hun gently pulled the pen out of his hand, and set it down. He pushed In-ho's chair back and made room for himself there, his heart pounding in his chest.
It was rapid with excitement, as In-ho peered up at him with inquisitive eyes, that darted suddenly as Gi-hun realized why.
"Oh..." he trailed off breathily. In-ho was hard, his erection poking into him as he adjusted on top.
Gi-hun didn’t expect that.
The way In-ho's body was attuned to him so instantaneously had Gi-hun pleased, and he suddenly needed more.
"I like to kiss before fucking," Gi-hun started, his own blood rushing south as he thought about sex with In-ho, how the older man would probably fuck roughly and chase his own pleasure with his inexperience.
It was an enticing image in his mind, and he traced his thumb across In-ho's lips, tilting him up so In-ho couldn't avoid his gaze.
He was sure a man like him never let others take the lead in any circumstance, and here he was, letting Gi-hun carefully manhandle him.
In-ho's scent was thicker up close too. Like smoke and scotch and mint. There was something more metallic, something like blood, but Gi-hun didn't pay it much attention.
He drowned out the music below, the thumping fading as he could only think about the thumping of his heart.
He held eye contact with the man, and leaned in close. "Do you want me to show you how I like to be kissed?"
In-ho didn't answer. The poor man's chest was rapid against his, rising and falling, his body burning hot, almost searing where Gi-hun sat atop him.
Gi-hun knew that with this much power, In-ho didn't know what to do with it.
"Do you want to kiss me?" Gi-hun asked, and In-ho was silent once again. He pushed In-ho's hair aside, soft against his fingertips, and peered into his dark eyes. "C'mon, baby, talk to me," he begged sweetly.
"B-baby?"
And fuck, In-ho's voice was low, almost broken. He looked far too gone to make sense of the most simple question, his erection straining hard against Gi-hun’s thigh.
"I'm yours for tonight," Gi-hun reminded him with a teasing smile. He grinded down the tiniest bit, earning him a surprised gasp from the older man, and watched how his flush instantly deepened. "Unless you don't want that, then I guess I can find Sang-woo—"
"Show me," In-ho cut him off, his voice cold, his anger palpable as he steeled himself, trying to gain composure.
Gi-hun found it amusing as In-ho failed, his jealousy showing just how out of it he was. He set a reassuring hand atop In-ho's own, feeling how rugged and calloused it was.
"Just like this," Gi-hun whispered lightly, taking In-ho's wrists and rolling back the sleeves of his button up cuffs. It revealed an expensive watch on one wrist, and he traced the black leather before bringing In-ho's hands up.
They tentatively grasped his waist, and Gi-hun wrapped his own arms around In-ho's neck, accidentally grinding down on him this time.
In-ho gasped again, and Gi-hun cupped his jaw, pulling his lips free from teeth that sunk in. He wanted to hear the sounds In-ho made, and he gazed into his dark brown eyes once before smiling sweetly, then closing the gap between them.
In-ho froze against him the second he caught his lips in a kiss. Gi-hun expected that much, and he was slow, gentle, as he encouraged In-ho with a reassuring hand on the back of his nape.
He played with the ends of his hair, as In-ho relaxed against him, opening wider. He was warm there, tasting like mint and smoke, soft in a way Gi-hun didn't expect him to be.
It was intoxicating, addicting, and he let In-ho take the lead as it seemed he got the hang of how kissing should be now, even if he did occasionally graze teeth.
His inexperience was endearing, and Gi-hun smiled into the kiss, tilting his head up and drowning in him as he slipped his tongue in.
In-ho's grip on him tightened, his erection straining as Gi-hun lightly grinded down against it. He set a slow pace, swallowing each of In-ho's gasps, and fuck, he needed to deal with his own desire.
Gi-hun broke the kiss, and In-ho tried pulling him in again, seemingly desperate with dark eyes and reddened lips, a ruddy blush still on his face.
Gi-hun softly laughed at that, caressing his cheek. "You're adorable," he murmured softly. "Not as scary as they said you were."
In-ho didn't say anything, but Gi-hun knew the truth; that In-ho was only like this right now for him.
He basked in the control, as desire coursed through his veins. "You can touch me however you want. Practice makes perfect, like you said. I'm yours for tonight," Gi-hun reminded him, against his jaw, then his ear, as he trailed further down with his words and kisses.
He felt In-ho shudder against him, before the older man tentatively nodded, his hair ruffling Gi-hun's forehead.
"Like this," Gi-hun murmured, his voice light as he led In-ho's fingers to the zipper of his tattered jeans.
The metal was rusted, and their fingers intertwined before Gi-hun pulled away. He let In-ho drag the zipper down, the older man somewhat hesitant as his face grew more flushed.
Gi-hun encouraged him with a chaste kiss, In-ho clinging to him just as tightly and desperately as he did with their last kiss, reluctant to pull away again.
Gi-hun's own pulse thudded as In-ho dragged down the hem of his boxers, revealing his hard cock between the two of them.
He grasped In-ho's hand and led it there, wrapping his calloused fingers around—and fuck—the feel of it was rough and tight, searing hot just like he needed, something his own hand never felt like. Something he didn't know he wanted, until now.
In-ho's own eyes were heady, dazed, and he looked utterly taken apart. Gi-hun laughed breathily. "Feels good," he murmured, his hand still wrapped atop In-ho's own. He dragged it up and down, showing how he liked it done.
It hurt from the dryness, but he liked the pain. The burn made it all the more sweeter, more sensitive, and he placed In-ho's thumb on his tip that started dripping with precome.
"Right there," Gi-hun gasped, In-ho rubbing there just right. "Fuck—you're a fast learner."
In-ho seemed to preen at that, the approval urging him on as he started jerking him off in earnest.
Gi-hun caught on, with satisfaction, just when he thought In-ho couldn't get any better.
"You're perfect," he praised the man around another gasp. "So eager to learn, fuck, I guess it's a good thing you're a nerd," he teased. "You work hard at everything you do, don't you?"
"I enjoy being the best," In-ho admitted quietly. His voice was tight. Strained. He dragged his fingers just right and occasionally squeezed Gi-hun's cock, like the fast learner he was.
"You are," Gi-hun assured him with a moan, knowing that's what In-ho wanted to hear.
It felt like In-ho was made for him, thoroughly pleasuring him in a way no one else ever had. Gi-hun could get used to this, to In-ho practicing and trying his best to please him.
He'd never seen somebody so dedicated, and it was intoxicating.
"You aren't even asking me to take care of this," Gi-hun murmured, grinding down once.
In-ho looked embarrassed to be called out on it. "I want to learn you," he admitted, like the hard worker that he was. "I don't want you to go to your friend."
Gi-hun was satisfied to hear that. He felt himself close to the edge, and he rested his forehead atop In-ho's jaw, melting into the man.
Then there was a knock at the door.
In-ho stilled, and Gi-hun groaned.
"Hey, In-ho, I'm sorry for the party," Jun-ho began to apologize. "I know you're busy, but I didn't know you'd be home early. And this is the only party I've ever thrown."
Gi-hun almost laughed at the lie.
In-ho cleared his throat and was about to speak, when Gi-hun started grinding down on him again, this time in earnest, with all of his weight and all of his warmth.
In-ho turned into a mess, with soft groans and heavy breaths, clinging to him tight.
"In-ho?" Jun-ho asked, knocking on the door again.
Gi-hun didn't care. He knew Jun-ho wouldn't enter, not without permission because of how he feared his older brother's ire.
He leaned in close to In-ho, to whisper warmly in his ear. "Tell him you'll talk about it later. You're not mad," Gi-hun persuaded, with a roll of his hips, doing Jun-ho a solid. "If you punish him, then I won't let you touch. You'll just have to watch me."
He pulled back and watched the instantaneous effect his words had on In-ho, who stared at him inquisitively before nodding.
"We'll talk later," In-ho said, his voice low, almost withering away in the end as Gi-hun resumed his grinding. "I don't have the energy to be mad right now, I'm working." His grip on Gi-hun tightened, urging him to stop.
But Gi-hun only continued, bucking down. He watched as In-ho tried to stay quiet, so he silenced him with a kiss, drowning out his sounds.
In-ho pulled back. “Gi-hun—" he whispered pleadingly, but Gi-hun didn't care.
He kissed him deeper, grinding down harder to torture him, tear him apart. In-ho had muffled moans against his lips, his chest heaving rapidly.
And suddenly the older man stilled, no longer rutting upwards into him.
Gi-hun didn't understand until he felt the warmth flood him beneath, damp against his own jeans.
In-ho came.
Just like that.
In his pants.
No wonder the older man was trying to warn him.
"Alright, I'll end it soon! We're just playing some games," Jun-ho shouted, sounding rather relieved. He was gone then, and Gi-hun could only stare at In-ho.
At his reddened lips, at his ruddy face, at his tentative gaze. In-ho was perfect, attuned to his touch without even being touched.
"Did that feel good?" Gi-hun asked teasingly. He grinded down once where he knew In-ho was sensitive, pulling a painful sound from the man.
"Y-yes," In-ho groaned, still avoiding his gaze.
Gi-hun cupped his jaw and tilted it up again, to meet his dark brown eyes. "Good,” he said softly. “Next time it'll feel better in me."
In-ho made a choked sound as Gi-hun captured his lips in another kiss. Because there would be a next time. He couldn't leave In-ho alone after that, after making the man so attuned to his body.
How could he be that cruel?
"Go on, make me come," Gi-hun said, wrapping In-ho's hand around his cock again. In-ho simply obeyed, jerking him off quick with a quiet nod.
It was wet and warm between them, the air thick with sweat and sex. It worked to teeter him over the edge.
"Fuck, In-ho—" Gi-hun gasped his name, coming all over his knuckles. He rutted up into the man, In-ho draining him dry. And when there was nothing left, In-ho stared at the white on his hands.
"Can I?" He asked, tentative.
Gi-hun gave a breathy chuckle at that. "Yeah, baby, I said I'm yours tonight. You don't need to ask." It was amusing how polite In-ho was, to ask before bringing fingers to his mouth and licking away at his come.
Gi-hun saw how it glistened on his lips, how he was written all over him like In-ho existed solely for his own pleasure.
"How did I do?" In-ho asked quietly, like it was a debriefing after solving a case. He looked tentative, almost nervous.
Gi-hun almost laughed again. Everything about In-ho was endearing. He pressed another soft kiss, as In-ho melted into him. "You're adorable," Gi-hun repeated his earlier statement, murmuring against his lips. "You did perfect, In-ho."
He felt the man relax then, nodding.
He let In-ho zip him back up and held him close.
Gi-hun was about to say something when his phone rang.
Over and over and over.
He pulled it out of his pocket with a sigh. "It's my friends," he explained, swiping through the hundreds of missed messages. "They think I went missing. We were supposed to play a game."
In-ho seemed reluctant to let him go, the music and chatter still echoing loud from downstairs.
"Don't sleep with Sang-woo," In-ho said, practically pleading. There was an edge creeping into his voice, his gaze dark, as it teetered between begging and warning.
Gi-hun realized he truly had him wrapped around his finger, and he hadn't even meant for it to happen.
"I won't, baby," Gi-hun promised then, pressing another kiss to his lips, this time reassuring.
"Thank you," In-ho said, relieved and polite as always.
Gi-hun was enamored. "I guess this isn't just a one time thing, is it?"
In-ho looked hurt, more than anything. "Did you mean that you were mine only for tonight?"
Gi-hun had meant that at first, because he never liked being tied down, but now he could only think of how it might feel to be in a real relationship. To be with In-ho, the man who was sweeter than honey beneath his cold exterior.
"Not anymore," Gi-hun admitted in truth. "I like you, In-ho."
In-ho, for the first time since Gi-hun had met him, smiled.
It wasn't wide, or sharp, but it was there, even if it was faint. It shown in his eyes too, the dark browns that grew warm.
He handed In-ho his phone so they could swap numbers, and watched In-ho type it in, before the man went to his contacts.
"What are you—"
"You don't need him," In-ho simply said, deleting Sang-woo's number out of his phone. He handed it back, and Gi-hun raised a brow, finding it amusing how riled up In-ho was over Sang-woo.
He lifted himself off of In-ho now, and stared down where the mess between them was evident, the front of In-ho's pants dampened, the files on his table all skewed.
In-ho averted his gaze again there, covering the front of his pants with hands in his lap.
Gi-hun laughed at that, and leaned down to capture his lips in one last kiss.
The taste of his own come was thick on In-ho’s tongue, and it was hard to pull away, but he eventually did.
"Call me, next time you want more practice," Gi-hun teased with a smile. He swiped In-ho's hair away that clung to his flushed face, and reluctantly left, In-ho's scent sticking to him like his own.
He made his way downstairs, where the music reverberated and the chatter was loud. He found Jun-ho and Jung-bae filling up more cups of beer. Gi-hun greeted him there, like he didn't just teach his best friend's older brother how to give a handjob.
And still, all Gi-hun could think of while playing Godori was next time.
