Sweet as blood

Summary:

Life is funny. Funny in the way that you can find yourself alone for a hundred years and then a little, somehow hiperactive, almost-dead, twenty-something quokka would find his way into your aprtment, your blood, and your past; bringing with him not only the love you thought you'll never find again but the lovers that you lost on your past.

Life was funny, Chan just had to start believing it.

Notes:

Hi everyone! So here we go again with a fic that started as something small and is now way longer that I wanted it to be. I will try and tag it better as we go along because I don't remember everything that happens, sorry! I'll also try and post every two weeks; it is for now 10 chapters long, but it may very well get longer (or shorter) because I'm reworking some chapters.

This chapter is full on Chan/Jisung!

Chapter 1

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

               The day had finally come.

It was just how time worked, wasn’t it? Chan looked at the little calendar and the mark on it, he remembered wanting to use red to mark it, but his red pen had dried out, so it was marked in black.

Maybe it was some kind of sign, maybe it was another reason why he shouldn’t return to the mansion.

But he had already made up his mind, like, two years ago, that he should go back and look for those damn papers that he couldn’t locate anywhere else and sell the forsaken place, maybe like that he would forget, or forgive himself if he was lucky enough.

He looked around his apartment, it was a luxury penthouse that he had been renting for 20 years now, the old lady renting it was a…

Not a nice lady, but she didn’t have any family and Chan could sympathize with her; even when she would try and feel Chan up each time she came by to either deliver him some goods or collect the rent money (Chan did have a bank account, he used it, it was only sometimes that the old lady would like to come and collect it by hand); She was, sadly, the only human contact he had.

               Apart from…

Well, apart from when he had to go hunting, he got plenty human contact when that happened; but it didn’t have any kind of quality, and so it let Chan feeling full but also sadly empty.

He was a romantic like that.

What brought him back to the mansion he was trying, no, going to sell.

He made sure that the light and water were off, the windows closed, the bed made, the fridge empty (it always was), and he took his little suitcase and went to the elevator, happy that no one was there; he looked at himself on the mirror.

Nothing had changed, right? Nothing ever would. As much as he tried to convince himself that it may, as much as he liked dying his hair from time to time, as much as he liked to pretend like working up would give him a different shape.

He brushed his blonde locks, making them go unruled, he had quite enjoyed straightening his hair lately.

He drove up to the mansion, it was an hour-long drive, and, with it being already pass seven when he started the journey, he knew it would be late when he arrived (or early to any other person), so he was starting to debate turning back.

He gulped as the known silhouette of the big, bigger than he would ever need, house came into view. He had been paying some gardeners and cleaners to make sure it wouldn’t go to waste. For the last 20 years that had been his excuse not to sell it, he didn’t want to take a stable job from them. But, last month, one of the elder ones had retired, and so it was the last kick he needed to go inside.

He had asked the cleaners to look for the papers, but he also had prohibited all of them into going into the master bedroom. Which, he knew, was being counterproductive, because, after weeks of them looking for the papers, everyone was sure that the papers were on the master bedroom. But he couldn’t let anyone inside, no one had the right to-

Ah, there it was, the entrance. He stopped the car. He started feeling hungry. Or his tummy was feeling weird. He was anxious, who was he trying to fool? He could puke all that was inside him right that moment.

He took a deep breath. Walked to the closed big iron gate and opened it with the keys he hadn’t used in, well, a hundred years, quite literally.

The way to the garage was perfectly kept and he could have told any of his workers to stay on the mansion for it to be easier to get the car and his things inside and maybe for it to not feel too empty.

But he didn’t want anyone around watching him fall into despair, and oh, god, was he going to do so.

He could only put a foot inside, before the tall, dark walls made him fell to his knees, suitcase forgotten to his side. The smell was different, the paintings and pictures had been taken off, there were no animals inside.

It was silent, empty, dark and clinical, smelling of something that had been thoroughly cleaned without being dirtied for far too many years.

He had to get out of there.

               He was hungry.

He put his hand on the suitcase and got up. He moved slowly, as if the ghost on the houses would come out to jump him; he couldn’t even hear his own footsteps, and so he was relieved when he found the new T.V. and radio he had had installed when one of the workers mentioned liking cleaning while watching T.V., the woman thought she was going to get fired for mentioning it.

He turned both on, the noise too much and too dissonant, but far better than the silence, and then, he turned the T.V. off. The new songs on the radio a comforting sound, he knew most of them, he had composed one of them.

Like that, he thought of going up, but only for an instant, upside were the rooms, and, at the end of the corridor, there was the master bedroom. He could go there next morning. The house was completely sun-proofed, like his apartment and all his houses before had been; so, he could just relax downstairs, take a look at some work and maybe, next afternoon (or a couple afternoons after) he would go upstairs.

He really was a coward, wasn’t he?

The couch became his residence, all his things neatly packed on the suitcase opened on the living room, save for his laptop who he moved from the coffee table to the dining table (when he felt brave enough to go from living room to dining room) and back to the couch.

That was his life for three nights straight.

The night of the fourth, he put a foot on the stairs and, immediately, remembered he was feeling hungry.

And so, he decided he needed a full stomach and his full concentration to make the incursion into the next level the most productive possible, so he went out to hunt.

The drive back to the city was long; luckily for him, he didn’t need to feed so often, being an old vampire, and, even more luckily for him, there were a closer by town and gas station if push came to shove. But that night, for whatever reason (a very clear one), he felt like driving, and so he did, right into the partying neighborhoods of the city.

He had dressed quite un-provocative, too keen on leaving the house quickly and having most of his clothes back on his apartment anyway. Still, he drawn attention pretty quickly. And sooner than later he had his eyes on a cute thing that wouldn’t remember a thing about him the next morning and whose friends weren’t anywhere to be found.

---

Dying because he was horny wasn’t something he was proud off.

               But sue him!

He had been broken up with via text a week ago, his best friend was currently enjoying his very-not-secret boyfriend and his university classes were kicking his ass.

He didn’t like partying, he didn’t like meeting new people, but he also had never felt so lonely before, he just wanted to feel loved for a night. Ah, yeah, and he was horny, so horny that he was two minutes away from jumping his professor.

So horny that the appealing dark-aura, much older than him, darkhaired man at the end of the bar had hypnotized him without even trying.

So horny that going out with him to the back alley didn’t seem dangerous.

               So horny that…

Wait, he wasn’t that horny, he had really been hypnotized, hadn’t he?

Fuck, it hurt, it hurt a lot, it hurt too much.

He shoved at the man but the other didn’t even react, Jisung wasn’t sure that he had even touched him. He felt like he was trapped between two walls, and both were hurting him, he couldn’t breathe and it was getting dark, too dark.

Then, a hand moved over his mouth, and something dropped into his mouth, it was pasty and iron-y and Jisung had never tasted something so awful, pure poison. His legs gave out on him; his heart gave out.

He lied there, eyes open, man gone. He didn’t have the strength to shout for help, wasn’t sure any help would save him.

               He felt his own tears.

For a moment, everything was delightful; the starts shined bright over the street lights, the putrid smock of the dark alley was secondary to that of a close-by pizza place margarita and pepperoni pizza. The disco was playing one of his favorite songs.

               And then, everything went black.

He took the biggest breath he had ever taken, but he felt like no-air had gone inside him, he moved, rolled over himself, everything was hurting, his head was killing him.

               Killing…

That made him remember something, a shadow, pain, blood…

He crawled, crawled to the opening of the alley, his knees were scrapping against the rough ground, his hands too, but he didn’t have the strength to get up, feeling drained.

He saw it, at the end of the alley, a big Subaru, and a man resting against it, a phone in hand, he was smiling.

He looked devastating, blonde hair perfectly styled, a short-sleeved patterned t-shirt and baggy technical trousers, his smile was dimpled, and he shined.

Shined in the way anyone with a phone and capability to call emergencies would shine, Jisung suspected.

The man saw him as he got his first hand out the alley and into the light of the street.

“What the fuck?” he whispered, coming to him.

               Ah, his hero.

“What the hell happened to you? What…?” he stopped the moment he saw all the blood coming from Jisung’s neck. He got him on his arms. He was so strong, he really was going to save Jisung, he could breathe.

And so, he dived back into a kind of sleep-state.

He felt the cushion of the car seats under him, felt a little sorry for all the blood he would leave behind, he felt the strong man carrying him again after, and then being seated again, this time upright, against a softer seat.

He felt the wet towel, it made him shiver, or, at least, he thought he must have shivered. He felt the comforting hand after, keeping him upright. And the strong man talking to him.

Jisung opened his eyes, looked at him.

               “I have to undress you.”

Jisung laughed, like he would care about that right then, what was he? A maiden on an old fairytale? He nodded, at least tried to do so, his neck hurt like hell, even more than his knees.

The blood had dried against the clothes, and the man asked if he could cut the clothes, Jisung looked down for half an instant before humming. He felt stupid after for feeling more concerned about his clothes being ripped than an unknown man undressing him.

He worked with surgical precision, it scared Jisung a little, but, when he was completely naked and carried into a bath, he forgot about the fear. He fought to keep his eyes open for he didn’t want to go back to the dark.

On the bathroom he found out little things to concentrate on while the man’s hands roamed his body, proving for injuries and cleaning the blood over him.

The man used vanilla soap, such a nerd. He had everything perfectly organized, what a weirdo.

The man touched his neck and Jisung winced, water splashing the other.

               “Sorry” Jisung whispered.

“It’s alright; it’s good you can move. This…”

“Doesn’t look good? I figured.” The man didn’t answer him, and Jisung realized right then that it was really weird. It was weird that the man hadn’t called for help at seeing him half-death on the street, that he hadn’t taken him to a hospital, that- “Are you a doctor?”

               “Producer.”

               Fuck.

“Fuck!” It was the loudest Jisung had been since he had been assaulted on that alley. “Why aren’t you calling the doctors- why.”

“Sorry, sorry. I didn’t want to alarm you; you were half gone.”

“And you undressed and bathed me?”

“Your energy is coming back” The man whispered. “They gave you their blood, right?”

“What the hell are you talking about?” Jisung had tried to make himself smaller on the tub, covering as much of his body of his body as he could, but the man’s hands were keeping his neck exposed and he simply couldn’t out-strength him, not even with his body on full capacity.

“The person that attacked you, they gave you their blood or not?”

“They… That’s a fucking weird question, okay? Call the ambulance or I’m calling the fucking police?”

The man raised his eyebrows, it made Jisung shiver.

“Look, if what I think happened to you really happened, you can call whoever you want, they won’t help you.”

“Are you going to kill me?”

“I think I’m a little late to that” the man whispered, and Jisung actually screamed. “Sorry, sorry. Okay, let me, okay, I think I’m right, so, let’s get you dried up, and I’ll lend you some clothes, and then we can talk.”

               “I’ll fucking record everything.”

“I… Okay, I’ll lend you my phone to do so, okay?”

“Do you think I’m stupid?” The man didn’t answer. “Where is my phone?”

“You didn’t have it with you.”

“Yeah, shit, sure! Are you kidnapping me?”

At that point the man seemed amused more than anything, Jisung didn’t realize it then, but he would learn later that he wasn’t amused, but relieved that Jisung was getting his energy back.

“I don’t tent to kidnap people.”

“But are you kidnapping me? Felix always tells me I’m very kidnappable.”

“I’m not kidnapping you. Specifically, I’m not kidnapping you. I’m just going to try and help you and then you’ll be free to go.”

“Nice.” Jisung stayed still for a couple seconds, and the man thought that was his clue to leave, but a cute, wet hand, wrapped around his, tugging him ever so slightly. “Can you stay? I’m still a little… scared, I don’t want to be alone.”

“Alright, yeah, no problem; you can dry and then we can go to my bedroom together and get you some clothes.”

Jisung blushed, that too seemed to alleviate some of the worry inside the other man; Jisung nodded.

“What’s your name? I usually ask that before getting on someone’s bathtub.”

“I assume you get on people’s bathtubs often? You can call me Chan.”

“Collage is wild, man” Jisung joked, the man let out a cute chuckle, his dimples showing again, Jisung wanted to put his finger on them. He didn’t, instead, he gripped at the bathtub edge and tried to get up, failing miserably.

Chan surged forwards to catch him before his head slipped under the water. How many times was the man going to save him? It was embarrassing even to Jisung.

“Thanks” he whispered, and there it was again, that warm smile, Jisung smiled back, didn’t even realize Chan was pulling him up and out of the tub; he was already too embarrassed to get more embarrassed realizing he was completely naked on Chan’s arms… again.

So, instead of falling over himself to cover his nakedness, he whispered a “thanks again”, and took the towel when Chan offered it.

The way to Chan’s bedroom was even more nerve-wrecking, with Chan taking his hand and leading him there, “For support”, Chan had said. Heck, alright, ‘for support’, no-one has ever been that courteous with Jisung before, and then he was being lead to a bedroom after taking a bath on a penthouse by a fit, obviously rich, man?

He was still a little scared, but mostly he was… yeah, that.

Chan sat him at his bed, Jisung put both hands on it, he realized he had tied the towel around his chest and felt a little stupid. It might have been because he was still half out of it, but he opened the towel, with the intention of lowering it to his hips. He realized he couldn’t do so while seated, but, as he was going to stand up, Chan turned around.

Jisung knew how he looked. Naked, towel on the bed, still sitting there, but chest propped out as he was going to stand, hands on either side of his slim frame.

Chan honest to God whined at the sight. It made Jisung smile before he realized what he was supposed to be doing, it wasn’t smiling dumbly.

He got up, Chan backed away. Wasn’t he adorable, was he scared of Jisung now? Jisung got the towel and tied it around his hip, sat back down again, Chan coughed, he moved forwards, Jisung moved further into the bed, away from him.

               What a stupid dance.

“I got these clothes, I think they fit you.”

“Are these yours?” Chan nodded. “They are going to be too big then.” Chan nodded again.

               “Should I stay?”

Jisung nodded quickly, Chan seemed to relax, back into caregiver-mood, he waited patiently as Jisung examined the clothes before putting them on. It was weird wearing another man’s underwear.

“How are you feeling?” Chan asked, when Jisung got the t-shirt on, finally dressed, he came closer and took the towel from the bed, not even grazing Jisung, still, he felt the hair on his body standing up.

“I’ve been better” Jisung whispered, Chan hummed. “But… I suppose I don’t feel like I’m dying anymore so… that’s good.”

“It’s going to get worse, sorry.”

“Fuck! Okay, if you’re going to kill me stop fucking torturing me, one moment you’re all warm and good and nice, the next you say those kinds of things! Fucking psycho!”

“Sorry, I supposed I’ve been alone for way too long.”

“Fuck if I care, just kill me already.”

               Shit, Jisung was crying.

Alright, Chan would pick up that only course on human relationships his enterprise offered. He used to be good with them, he used to have friends, and a- wait, fuck, no, not thinking about that, back to Jisung crying.

“I’m not going to kill you, I’m not going to do anything to you, alright? I just know what you’re going through. I think. And I’m just being honest.”

“Were you also almost killed on an alley?”

               “No, not almost.”

               “Well then-”

“I got killed on an alley.”

“Right, fuck. I’m… Just let me run away, please, I promise I won’t tell anyone-”

“Jisung, please, breath with me, alright; let’s breath together for a moment.”

It took a lot of time and reassurance for Jisung to finally calm down a little, he sat at the couch, and Chan pulled a chair close to him, but no too close.

“So, you’re sure that man put something on your mouth, right?”

               “Yeah, something iron-y. Like… blood?”

“Right, right. So,” Chan cleared his throat, cracked his knuckles, Jisung got distracted with his hands, so much so that he got surprised when Chan kept on talking, “do you know anything about vampires?”

“You have to be kidding me.”

It took a lot of time and reassurance for Jisung to calm down a little (again); but he, somehow, ended half-convinced.

“Show me your teeth” he asked, a whisper. Chan nodded, opened his mouth. Well, those were some pointy as fuck fangs, alright; Jisung moved closer, crunching in front of Chan’s chair, he raised his hand and Chan moved backwards before bending closer to Jisung.

Jisung touched his fangs. He wasn’t sure what he had been expecting, maybe for them to feel plastic-like. They didn’t.

“Well, but maybe you just like the look?”

“Maybe. I don’t know what else I can show you to convince you.”

               “Can you, like, transfor-”

“Stop right there, I’m not a fucking bat, okay? I’m just dead.”

               “And alive.”

“Yeah. And, I’m quite sure you’re too.”

               “Fuck me.”

Chan raised an eyebrow at that; ‘ah, nice, now he is getting cheeky’, Jisung thought.

“I’m sure you would feel the thirst soon. I can… I can give you some blood when that happens, if you want to stay.”

“I think I’m going to start panicking again, but thank you, Chan.”

“Anytime” Chan said, and he laughed.

Jisung threw his hands up. “I’m panicking and you’re laughing? What a good friend!”

“Oh, I’m your friend now? Not the man kidnaping and trying to kill you?”

“Don’t use my words against me, man! I had a pretty rough night.”

“Me too, you know? I was just having fun and trying to feed and then a full-on dead man crawls up to me.”

“Oh! True, I saw you on the phone. So, you where ‘having fun’ ah?” Jisung teased, giggling his eyebrows.

“I think you should be more worried about the feeding part.”

“I’ve selective worry” Jisung answered, finally sitting back on the couch, his legs were starting to hurt much more than they should for only crunching down for a couple minutes.

“So, anyways, this is my apartment, and you can pass the rest of the night here, I have two bedrooms. You can lock yourself in or whatever, but I’m pretty sure you’ll need my help in around…, three hours” he said, looking at a clock on the wall. “So, maybe don’t lock yourself in so I don’t have to break the door.”

               “Fuck, alright? I guess.”

               “Then, are you staying?”

               “Yes.”

“Nice, I’ll go look for the sheets for the bed.”

Chan happily moved away, and, suddenly, the fear came back. Jisung followed him as a lost duckling. Chan didn’t ask about it, going on about dressing the bed like Jisung wasn’t, literally, tugging at the hem of his shirt.

Jisung realized that Chan was wet from when he had been splashed and when he had carried Jisung out of the tub, and stained on blood from before.

               “Are you going to bath?”

“I didn’t want to let you alone.”

“I can sit on the toilet while you bath.”

“I wasn’t planning on behind naked in front of you.”

“Come on! You saw me, it’s only fair.”

“You have a weird way of flirting.”

“And this is with only half my brain working, imagine when it comes fully back on.”

Chan rolled his eyes, it made Jisung laugh.

So, the thing was that Chan was clearly ripped, not only that but he was fucking beautiful, and, having such a man undressing in front of him was so tempting. Jisung wasn’t going to do anything embarrassing, like asking to touch, but he couldn’t look away either.

And Chan was looking at him looking, as he slowly, way too slowly for it to not be intentional, took off his clothes.

The shirt was first to touch the floor, and wasn’t that a sight to behold, Chan looked sculpted on marble.

He unbuttoned his pants, the zipper resonating on the bathroom walls, and Jisung licked his lips.

Shit, maybe he could ask, as embarrassing as it was.

Chan pulled his pants off, standing only in his underwear, which didn’t let much to the imagination. Jisung only wondered if he was bigger when hard, as it was already an imponent sight while soft.

Jisung sighed, Chan smiled at him like the way Chan’s body was making Jisung run hot was endearing. Chan used both thumbs and index fingers to pinch the underwear waistband, and Jisung licked at his lips again.

Chan must have said something, because he looked at him like he was waiting for an answer.

“Is this okay?” he asked again, now that Jisung was looking him on the eyes. Jisung nodded, and Chan shook his head. Jisung eyes darted back down as Chan pulled his underwear off.

“Fuck” he whispered, and tried to cover his mouth right after. “Wait, can vampires get an erection?”

“Yes, we can.” Chan answer was quick and plain, but his expression changed when Jisung looked up at him again, his eyes roaming his body before getting to his face.

               “Can I-”

               “No.”

“You don’t even know what I was going to ask.”

               “I prefer not to know.”

               “Shame, I’m quite good with-”

“Again, no” Chan quickly cut him off.

Chan got into the bathtub, and without his body in plain sight to distract him, Jisung thought for a little longer.

“Was the person on the phone your boyfriend or something?”

“No, they weren’t, I just meet them tonight” Chan answered, he let his head fall back and closed his eyes, he looked even more handsome like that, relaxed and pliant on the water, neck bared, and Jisung could see a scar on it, he wondered if his would be as big as Chan’s, he tried to touch his own neck. “Don’t touch it, it would hurt a lot” Chan said, he hadn’t opened his eyes, Jisung let the hand fall down again.

               “Can I sleep with you?”

“I really don’t think you’re on the right mindset right now, Jisung, we can- Ah, you meant the same room, right?”

Jisung blushed, he had meant that but the possibility of sleeping with Chan on the future sounded so appealing that he was side-tracked for a moment before answering.

               “Yeah.”

“If you’re comfortable. My bed is pretty big.”

“I just don’t want to be alone in the dark.”

“Don’t worry, we can sleep together, and I can let a light on, anyway.”

“Do vampires sleep during the day?”

“Usually, but no necessarily. Sunlight is dangerous for us, so most of us preferred to sleep during the day.”

               “How old are you?”

               “Very.”

               “Alright grandpa.”

Chan laughed at that, but somehow it sounded pained.

“You’ll get used to it; now a days you can do remote work, and take online or nocturnal classes and courses, and people are much less afraid of the dark.”

               “Yeah, apparently not me.”

“It’ll pass, it’s normal that you are still scared, Jisung, it’s okay.”

               “Thanks” Jisung whispered.

“Any time” Chan answered as he closed his eyes again, just for a moment. “Alright, I’ll wash quickly, we only have two or three hours more before sunrise.”

               “What happens at sunrise?”

“You’ll get thirsty, it’s always at sunrise the first time; I think is some way to keep the population low.”

“New-born vampires get thirsty and die under the sun?” Chan nodded. “Fuck, I was so lucky finding you.”

Chan nodded again, “You’ll get by just fine, the first day it’s the worst. And hey, you win tolerance to the sun with time, in a few… centuries, maybe you’ll be able to walk under the sun.”

               “Are you able to?”

               “Directly? No.”

               Well, that was hopeful.

It took a little longer than necessary for them to get into the bed. Chan was actually so bashful about the whole thing that he was red as a tomato when he finally settled between the sheets.

Five minutes later he was still rolling around.

“I’m sorry, it must be uncomfortable sleeping with a stranger” Jisung whispered.

“Oh, no, no, don’t worry, it’s just…” Chan moved again. “I’m not used to sleeping with clothes.”

               “Oh.”

“Not that I’m going to… take them off. I just need this t-shirt to stop wrinkling.”

               “You can take it off.”

“No, don’t worry, I don’t want to make you uncomfortable. If I wasn’t this hungry, I wouldn’t be so sensitive… I feel like I may be off my rails if I don’t sleep a little.”

               “Are you hungry?”

               “Very, actually.”

“You… Were you going to do the same they did to me tonight?” Jisung asked, he turned on his side, looking at Chan. He didn’t look dangerous, not right that moment, with his pointless fight against a cotton t-shirt; but he knew better than to judge a person for what they were portraying at the moment.

“No, transforming someone is kind of… demented as of today. We don’t do that anymore, well, some do, obviously; but we don’t have clans or things like that anymore and the overpopulation of vampires is a problem-”

“Are there like vampiric-news or something? How do you know so much?”

               “I care, that’s why.”

Lie, Jisung thought, but he hummed his agreement.

“You can take it off, for reals, I don’t care, I’ll be sleeping in a moment.”

               “Are you sure?”

Jisung was one moment away from exclaiming ‘Yes, please!’, but he held back the urge and just hummed a short answer. Chan, finally, took off his t-shirt, throwing it to the floor, then, he sighed and got up, folded it and put it on the bedroom’s desk.

“I’ll show you how to avoid the Sun tomorrow” Chan muttered as he got into the bed, like he was reviewing a list. “And you’ll have to feed again come night…” he kept on going. Jisung hummed again, but, as Chan kept on talking, Jisung fell asleep like under a spell.

It was, as Chan had predicted, around 5 a.m., the Sun raising; Chan spent an hour worrying and caressing Jisung’s head, then fell asleep for another one, feeling Jisung moving and putting his head on his chest, then nuzzling on it like Chan was a comfortable pillow.

               Then the pain hit.

Chan had wanted to wake up before Jisung, but he clearly hadn’t.

He opened his eyes, Jisung was lying on his stomach, half on top of him, and he was trying and failing to sink his teeth on Chan’s chest; the first bite hadn’t even awakened Chan; the second, far stronger and badly aimed to just under his nipple, did.

“Hey, hey” Chan started, moved his hand to Jisung’s head again, caressing his hair, Jisung looked up.

His eyes were watery, a couple tears rolling down his cheeks, his lips were red, like he had been biting himself before realizing Chan was a better victim, he looked half gone.

“Chan” he whispered, and then fought to get his mouth on Chan again; Chan held it up, pulling on his hair softly.

“Not like that, baby, you’re not going to get anything like that, look” Chan pointed at his own chest with his chin. Jisung just kept looking at him with those big brow teary eyes, Chan smiled at him and Jisung let out a whine. “Come here” he cooed him, pulled on his hair to make him come further up, till they were almost head-to-head. “Alright, try to use only your fangs first. Wait let me see” Chan moved his other hand, thumbed at Jisung lip, drawing it down, but before Chan could see, Jisung sucked the finger in, quickly licking at it. “Stop, stop, Sungie, let me… No biting, okay.” Chan got his finger free and decided to also use his index finger to be able to keep Jisung’s mouth open.

His fangs were already there, fantastic, at least like that it would be less painful for Chan. He wondered if he had started producing poison already, if it would react to his own and how.

“Okay, Sungie, baby, just try to bit hard enough, okay? It’s better to go overboard than to not make it. At least this time.” He took a long breath and pushed Jisung’s head on his neck after palping over it to locate his vein. “Let’s go.”

He couldn’t help the grunt and the scrunch of his face as Jisung sank his teeth in. If that was the hardest he could bite, they were going to have problems. Chan felt his skin puncturing, but it was a shallow bite, almost no blood was going to get out of it. He tsked, hadn’t wanted to bite himself but if there wasn’t any other option then…

He pulled Jisung away by the neck, Jisung whined; Chan kissed his forehead and moved so he was sitting up, cradling Jisung on his arms.

               “Give me a second, baby.”

“Chan” Jisung whined again, getting his tongue out, trying to lick at Chan’s neck; Chan didn’t want to get bitten for nothing again, so he didn’t let Jisung close to his neck again.

He didn’t remember his first time being as messy; Chan was already bleeding from his neck and one of the punctures on his chest, and that wasn’t enough, he lamented for his clean sheets, luckily, they were black.

He pushed Jisung further away and brought his own wrist to his mouth, biting down and not only puncturing but breaking the skin; as soon as the true smell of blood was in the air, Jisung started pushing harder against the hand keeping him away. Chan pulled him closer, got his wrist over Jisung’s lips, and, even when for the few first seconds, Jisung couldn’t get a hold of it, blood dripping down his chin and between them, his cheeks getting stained too; he was quicker to learn to suck than to bite, and, soon enough, he was doing it just right for the blood to keep on flowing into his mouth without it being spilled.

Chan relaxed, he had been a little scared that Jisung wouldn’t make it, not everyone did. But he was clearly, at least, capable of sucking, so the transformation was going alright, and he seemed energetic enough.

If the way he was rutting his hips on top of Chan’s was anything to go by.

Chan didn’t want to react to it, he knew that drinking, even more so the first few years of after-life, was inherently sexual. He couldn’t blame Jisung for the way his hips were moving, for chasing more pleasure than the blood itself was granting him; but he himself was supposed to be an elder figure, and he didn’t want to be one of those old dukes that transformed youngsters just to have sexual objects and threw them out once they got a grip over their own hunger and lust.

So, he tried to remain calm, as calm as possible with Jisung’s tongue darting to lap over the wound on his wrist, with his little moans and whines of frustration when the blood stopped flowing and the movement of his hips wasn’t enough.

He shushed at him, and caressed his hair as Jisung keep on whining, letting go of his wrist and moving with more fervor, chasing his own orgasm even when he hadn’t found a good pace yet.

Jisung moved forwards, latching onto Chan’s neck but without biting it, instead, he licked at the blood that had been dripping down. Like that, they were closer, and Jisung movements actually went right over Chan’s dick, it made Chan grunt and Jisung seemed to realize that Chan was there for the first time since he had tasted his blood.

The realization made him kiss his neck, an honest kiss, soft, bloody lips and just a little bit of suction; he moved up Chan’s jaw, his hands caressed his arms down till they found a place to grip at his sides. Chan took a deep breath.

“Sungie, baby, let’s go clean up, okay? Then you can have a little time for yourself.”

               “Want you.”

“Needy thing” Chan whispered, Jisung moaned. He had liked that, hadn’t he? “You need me?”

“Need you, Chan” he said, and moved again, it made Chan close his eyes, Jisung was quick to kiss him when he did, a soft peck that he tried to push further. When Chan didn’t answer, he talked against his lips. “Need you, hyung, please.”

               “Use hyung then.”

Jisung looked up at him, boba pearl eyes up to a hundred. It only took a glimpse of Chan’s smile and he was back on his mouth like a starved man on a banquet. Chan opened up when Jisung licked at his lower lip, letting him explore his mouth as Jisung kept on rutting against him.

He let himself relax back as Jisung moved, but then, Jisung took his hand and moved it to his crotch, looked at him again, letting soft quick peaks over his face, it was as good as begging for Chan to touch him.

               Chan did.

He moved his hand slowly up and down once, palpating Jisung’s hard, leaking cock, already wetting Chan’s pajama pants that were too big on Jisung’s slim frame, he bit his lip thinking about how wet the underwear must be.

He got his hand on Jisung’s waistband, enjoying his little whine, and he slowly toyed around it for a few seconds till Jisung’s whines turned desperate.

“Channie” Jisung whimpered, he got both hands around Chan’s wrist and pushed his hand down, finally making Chan touch him. “Do you not want to touch me?” he asked, voice softer than Chan had heard the whole night.

               “Of course I want, baby.”

“Then touch me, I’m feeling so…”

“Needy?” Chan provided, he moved forwards, Jisung nodded. Chan got his mouth on his neck, kissing it softly, then with a little more pressure, Jisung moaned.

He got his hand over Jisung’s dick, pressing it in a strong hold before releasing it, Jisung folded over himself, head lying on Chan’s shoulder.

“It’ll be easier the next time.” Chan whispered, Jisung didn’t seem to register it, too lost in his own little sounds as Chan jerked him off. A part of him wanted to relish on it, to make Jisung completely lose his mind, he wanted to do much more than jerk him off; and, even if he could do only that, he wanted to do it right, better. But another, more rational, part of him wanted it to end quickly, knowing that Jisung was under the effect of drinking, and may not be completely okay with it when he awakened.

Jisung was quick to be pleased, it only took a few more pumps and he was coming on his pants, mouth in a perfect ‘o’ that Chan wished he had been able to see better, but the brunette guarded his face on the crock of Chan’s neck as he came.

Chan didn’t expect Jisung taking his wrist again, him moving his hand to his own mouth and licking at the cum covered fingers till they were clean.

Right after he let out a high sigh and promptly fell asleep again.

That surprised Chan more than anything else that had happened that night. As he slowly moved him down onto the bed, he made sure that Jisung was indeed very asleep.

He walked to the bathroom, cleaned his hand. He thought about doing something about his own erection but, finally, he just let it go down on his own, he looked at himself on the mirror again and smiled sheepishly, yeah, still the same.

He debated on going to the other room or the couch maybe, but Jisung had vehemently asked for them to sleep together, and making sure the young, new vampire was okay was his first priority.

Minho had told him before, who much of a mother hen he was, how quickly he took anyone and everyone under his wing, giving up whatever the other person needed from him.

               He had never changed.

               Even after he left.

               Even after they all did.
