If you’re wondering where the chapters have gone, well, the reason is simple.
If you’ve read the latest updates, you already know I’m preparing the final version of the novel to submit to a publisher. I had originally hoped to keep the fanfiction online, but since many parts remain the same, readers could easily “cheat”—avoiding paying for the book and instead reading the fanfiction, even though it’s unedited, missing chapters, and, after all, still just a fanfiction. And then there’s the issue of the law, because of exclusivity. Simply changing some parts and editing the story, or even changing the characters’ names, isn’t enough.
That would hurt the publisher and myself, along with my dream of getting the book published and my hope of having (fingers crossed) a small secondary income to make life a bit easier. For that reason, I was forced to remove the chapters.
I’m very sorry for those who were following along, but I simply had no other choice.
It feels like I’m wronging you again, since I had already taken down the fanfiction before—though for different reasons. I hope you can understand my decision. Maybe in the end my books won’t be accepted, and all of this will have been for nothing, but I’ve been waiting for this moment since I was a child, and I don’t want to give it up.
