Domesticity is hard to define, but Bucky would say this counts.
Sharing coffee in the morning and a bed at night, that’s close enough. Letting Yelena lean up against him for comfort and her letting him do the same, that’s domestic, yeah? He hasn’t had enough experience to say for certain.
Yelena isn’t complaining. A cup of coffee in the morning he made for her paired with an “I love you” is more than enough mushy feelings for her. He isn’t discouraged by it, it’s an acclimation period.
They’ll get to “proper” domesticity one day.
Probably.
If they don’t, that’s fine.
He’s just happy to have Yelena by his side. Snarky but soft when no one else is around. Warm despite being cold, even in the mornings.
Bucky gives a quiet, “Love you,” as he hands her a mug.
Yelena quietly answers back, “Love you too,” with a soft smile.
