Nothing holy about this heat

Summary:

Weeks after their secret reunion, Wille and Simon escape to a lake house far from school hallways and royal cameras. The air is thick with tension that builds up from intense longing. Without interruptions, they are finally free to touch, to lose themselves in each other’s skin. A quiet simple swim turns into a slow desperate unraveling of all the desire they tried their hardest to keep a secret.

Work Text:

The lake was still, quiet like it was holding its breath. Wille’s hand was on Simon’s thigh in the boat. Neither of the had moved in what felt like eternity. Simon didn’t even ask him to. They hadn’t said a word since they left the dock. But it wasn’t uncomfortable. It was just charged, both of them waiting for something to tip them over the edge. Wille was still a little damp from their earlier swim, his hair curling at the ends in a way Simon loved. His white t-shirt was nearly translucent against his skin. Simon couldn’t stop looking. ”Let’s go inside,” he said quietly, so quiet like he was afraid the moment would break.

Wille turned to look at him, shielding his eyes from the last bit of sun. ”You sure?”

Simon just nodded as he took Wille’s hand to drag him inside the cabin.

The floor creaked under their steps. The cabin smelled like pine, amber and something so incredibly summer. Windows were cracked open to let in the breeze. Simon could feel Wille behind him, his breath hot against his neck. When Simon finally turned around, Wille was already watching at him like he was something holy. Something he couldn’t believe he could be able to see.

Simon leaned closer and kissed him first. Not because he had to, but because it had been too long, because nothing about them was patient. Their mouths met in a familiar rhythm, with the same ache they had been carrying around for weeks. Simon walked them backwards toward the small bunk at the back of the cabin, his lips never leaving Wille’s.

Their clothes came off slowly, purposely making the moment last longer than it was supposed to in the dim lit room. Wille kissed Simon’s neck down to his collarbone all the way down to his chest like he was trying to memorize every inch of him. When he finally sank down between Simon’s legs, it was hunger, heat.

It was slow, whispered gasps, soft hands, skin on skin. They moved like a prayer, like something to worship. They moved like they had all the time in the world. Simon’s fingers gripped Wille’s hair harder, Wille groaned against Simon’s mouth. It was all teeth, hips moving in the same rhythm and pure desperation.

”I’ve been thinking about this for days,” Wille murmurs against Simon’s throat. ”Touching myself every night wishing it was you instead.” he gently bites down on Simon’s neck.

Simon’s breath caught, his whole body feeling the shockwaves. ”Yeah?” he managed to breathe out.

”Mmm…” Wille trails his lips lower to his chest. ”Every time you sing.” he looks up at Simon as he grinds slowly against him, to emphasize.

Simon shuddered, arching his body closer. ”Fuck.”

Their bodies fit together like it was meant to be. Gasping, clutching like the other one would disappear in any second.

Simon’s name slipped out Wille’s mouth like a promise, like it was the only word he knew. Simon’s nails raked down Wille’s back leaving red marks. Wille groaned for the sensation, pain and pleasure mixing. He could feel himself getting closer, Wille trembling above him, on the edge of something way bigger than them.

When they finally let go, it was loud, Shaking, but honest. Out of breath. They stayed like that for a long time, tangled in sweat and each other. Hoping they could stay there forever. Away from everything.

Simon ran his fingers through Wille’s hair, sensing he’s overthinking. ”We have to back to real life eventually, you know it.”

Wille let out a long sigh and kissed Simon’s shoulder. ”I know.” his voice was barely above a whisper.

Simon tilted his head. ”But not yet?”

”Not yet.

Wille’s cheek was pressed against Simon’s chest, he could feel his heartbeat. Steady and calming. Simon’s fingers traced lazy lines along Wille’s spine, up and down like he was trying to draw something that was only for them. They both stayed quiet, but the silence wasn’t awkward, it was full.

”Did you actually mean it?” Simon broke the silence. ”What you said about… thinking about me.”

Wille lifted his head just enough to look at him. ”Too much, maybe,”

Simon rolled his eyes. ”You are such a loser.”
Wille just grinned at him. ”Your loser to be specific.”

Simon sneered as his fingers played with Wille's hair. "Mine." he whispered into Wille's hair.
