Work Text:

Jin was in heaven. Finally, finally, he got the pleasure of waking up next to his lovely Wim. Yes, he'd been snoring the entire night and drooled a line of crust onto Jin's bare shoulder at some point of the night, but he was perfect.

He'd never deny he's a romantic- Jin loves poetry, yearning, serenading lovers- but he hadn't fully understood people who enjoyed watching their lovers sleeping until now. How could he not, when Wim's nose twitches so cutely in his sleep, how he kept mumbling to himself like he was living through a little story in his mind?

Often times Jin considered his powers as a curse. What did he need the ability to read people's minds for in this life? On a good day, it helped him stay away from nasty people or find the best deal on an auntie's snack bar, but usually it held him back. With Wim, Jin wished he could listen to his innermost thoughts all day, could wrap himself around his lanky body and soak in the thousands of rushing words going through the boy's head.

What good was his power if he couldn't listen to the person he was obsessed with the most?

He wanted to see Wim's dreams, know what his mind would come up with when he was unconscious. Would he have strange dreams, nonsensical and unrealistic, or would he dream about holding Jin's hands at sunset? (Jin surely did the latter.) Wim consistently insisted that he never remembered his dreams, and Jin hadn't heard one of his thoughts once in the months since he'd fallen for him.

No matter, he was quite satisfied listening to the boy speak anyway, knowing there wasn't much filter between his mind and his expressions. To wear his heart on his sleeve so bravely for the taking, yet allowing Jin and Jin alone to take it captive with his affections was an adrenaline high he'd never experienced before in his life.

Though, Jin easily served his own heart on a platter to Wim even before the boy saw him as more than a gateway to get to Phukan. He was in no place to judge.

Interrupting his yearning, Wim's nose crinkled before he let out a small yawn, grumbling as he curled further into Jin's neck. So cute. He was like a little pomeranian chasing rabbits in his sleep. Wim's hair was fluffy and soft under Jin's hand, the skin on his arms warm where Jin held him. If he could, he'd hold him forever. Since he couldn't, he'd manage with just this.

It was maybe ten more minutes, or perhaps an hour, before Wim finally woke up. Eyes crossed and pouting from his sleep being interrupted (Jin hadn't been able to hold himself back from kissing the boy's forehead anymore), he leaned back with a "Mm, morning, Ai'Jin." By far, this was Jin's favorite part about when Wim slept next to Jin- usually on his shoulder at the library or on his lap at their favorite park - he tended to wake up lacking inhibitions and embarrassment, too drowsy and pliant to hide away from his affections. Taking advantage, Jin pressed his lips to his boyfriend's brow, nose, his plush cupid's bow, tasting the pleased sigh Wim let out.

Of course, it was Wim, and no matter how sweet and sleepy he was he'd never let a moment last for too long. Whining, the boy pushed Jin back oh-so slightly, "Morning breath," his voice was gravely from lack of hydration, brows furrowed, "Gross, Ai'Jin. No kissing until we've brushed our teeth."

Jin wanted to pout, but with Wim so close he couldn't help how he simpered instead, no doubt looking like every bit of the fool his boyfriend turned him into. Teasingly, he leaned forward for a kiss on the cheek, laughing when Wim pushed him away. He wasn't weak but Jin was stronger, holding him in place with a firm arm on his upper back.

Wim resembled an angry kitten that didn't want to be cuddled, squirming in Jin's grip as he peppered the older boy in adoring kisses at every spot he could reach. He laughed at the shocked gasp Wim let out when he pressed his lips on the sensitive tendon on his neck, burying his face in that same spot. Wim attempted to push him out, ticklish as all hell, wiggling his shoulder. In retaliation, Jin sunk his teeth into him playfully. Now Wim was really whimpering.

"Ai'Jin," he groaned, "It's too early for this, you youngsters are too much," he pushed his boyfriend back but Jin wouldn't go far, using the arm as leverage to straddle Wim, nuzzling the hand that tried to thrust him away, beaming. He was just so happy, and Wim was too, even if he was too flustered by the sight of his semi-nude boyfriend on top of him to show it properly.

"I'm only a year younger than you," Jin chuckled, dipping in for another languid kiss. Wim was right, their morning breath did taste gross, though he couldn't be too assed to care when his boyfriend's lips were so soft and his annoyed groans were so sweet. Wanting more, wanting to consume Wim, Jin pressed him down further into the bed, trying not to look like a creep when he sniffed the shampoo off the crowd of Wim's head.

Wim laughed, "You're heavy Ai'Jin, off, off!" wrestling Jin to move away from him, unprepared for the boy to grab him as well. They rolled in the sheets for a few minutes, Wim's boyish laugh and Jin's chuckles echoing in the morning light. Jin let himself get pinned down by Wim, who bore a triumphant expression before the younger pinched his side, kicking his legs underneath him. It was all fun and games until Wim started tickling his sides, making Jin stop immediately, "Okay, I'm done! No tickling, P'Wim, please!" Wim obeyed, backing up politely in bed and pulling the blanket up over his waist. He looked so pretty, covered in last night's marks, hair a complete bird's nest, face flushed from the exertion of their morning play-fight.

They sat across eachother, trying to catch their breaths before Wim sighed, "Put that away, you freak. It's way too early for that." Jin followed Wim's line of sight to his own hips, painting his own expression with a smug grin to smother any embarassment he felt. He wasn't ashamed- God forbid a man finds wrestling and kissing his boxer-clad boyfriend erotic- but it was still a bit nerve wracking to be hard in Wim's presence, last night be damned.

Getting up, he walked bow-legged to his dresser and threw on some sweats. It wasn't hiding shit, but who was checking (Wim definitely was, Jin could see him staring through his vanity mirror). Tossing a shirt in his boyfriend's direction, he stretched his arms, "I'll go get you a spare toothbrush. Do you want any coffee?"

Wim smiled brightly, "Yes, I thought you'd never- can I not have some pants, Ai'Jin?" His boyfriend's eyebrows furrowed in annoyance, ears turning pink at the edges.

Surely Wim was smart enough to know the answer to that question. "No."

Wim let out a long-suffering sigh, "You're a pervert, you know that? Fine, I'm hot in here anyway." Jin was indeed a pervert, watching unabashedly as Wim put on the slightly oversized t-shirt, miles of milky skin showing underneath.

"Oi," Wim got up, flicking Jin on the forehead, "Tongue off the ground. Get me my toothbrush, na?" Jin nodded dumbly, fetching him what he requested. They brushed together in semi-silence, Wim humming that Pokémon 'brush your teeth' song he'd taught his younger cousin under his breath. Cute. Jin was enamored with him.

Breakfast was a quiet affair, Jin relishing in the feeling of Wim leaning his head on his shoulder while he brewed them coffee. It was when they were in private that Wim was much more clingy, Jin had noticed. Grabbing honey and sugar from the cabinets, Jin served the cake-in-a-cup that Wim called morning coffee to his boyfriend, who gave him a thankful smile.

"No whipped cream? Whatever will I do," Wim teased, only to make a dramatic shocked expression when Jin pulled a can out of the fridge.

Jin smirked, "You like it, so I got it," was all he said before spraying the sugary foam into his mug. Wim placed his head onto Jin's bare collarbone, a facade of a hug with his hands occupied by the warm drink in his hand. Jin's hand wrapped around his waist mindlessly, the two intertwining easily as he took a sip of his black americano.

Wim took a long sip of his sugary coffee, sighing in elation at the flavor. "Y'know," he started, "I love you, Jin."

It was a miracle that Jin managed to not drop his cup in utter shock. Yes, he loved Wim and knew (hoped) it was reciprocated, but they'd not yet gotten to the point of saying it. He hadn't realized he didn't respond until Wim laughed somewhat evilly, "Your heart's racing. Embarassed, Ai'Jin?"

"Stop it, Wim," Jin grumbled, face red, "You'll put me in an early grave."

"You're blushing. What would everyone say if they knew Jin was so cute right now, na?" Wim teased, listening to the younger's treacherous heart pound. Jin placed his cup on the counter, using his now free hand to card the mess of Wim's bedhead behind his ear.

"Nobody else has to know what I'm like around you," Jin tried to smirk cheekily, though his flushed neck and face betrayed his feelings, "And I love you too, P'Wim."

The world didn't stop turning, fireworks didn't explode in the distance, there was no dramatic music. Just Jin and Wim, holding eachother in the morning light. Despite the lack of romantic symphonies singing in the background, Jin felt himself smiling from ear to ear. Yes, he was in heaven. Heaven was with Wim.

God only knows what he'd do to stay in heaven for eternity.

End.
