collection of mostly poetry and semi-organised thoughts from my brain, probably mostly about love and how i experience it

Chapter 1: the musician

if i could write music i would
write for you of my longing and love,
something for you to play for us
so that we would have something entirely our own.

but i am not a musician.
i cannot weave notes and chords
into swelling symphonies and humming hymns
because i do not know how.

instead i can only write words
and hope it is enough.
