Mine in Every Shade

Summary:

Est’s black-and-white water shoot sets the internet on fire — and pushes William over the edge. When unanswered calls turn into a late-night visit, teasing spirals into tension, and jealousy burns into something neither of them are willing to stop.

Notes:

I completely lost it after seeing Est’s post and William’s comment — there was no way I wasn’t writing this. Honestly, for the first time I wish I could write proper smut lol, but this is as far as I’ll take it (for now 👀). Enjoy jealous, possessive William and smug, button-pushing Est — they practically wrote this one themselves.

Also, it’s my birthday weekend 🥳 so consider this a little self-indulgent gift to myself (and to all of you, too).

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

The photos dropped in the middle of the night.

Black and white. Water streaming down Est’s body, shirt plastered thin against skin that left absolutely nothing to the imagination. Waist chain catching the light. His eyes locked on the camera with a smolder that could melt through screens.

Within minutes, the comments were chaos.

Other actors were flooding in —

“why so hot 🥵🥵🥵”
“who is this hottie”
“Sir, please calm down, I’m single.”

Fans were tagging each other in all caps, screaming, sharing screenshots, editing the pictures into wallpapers.

And then there was William.

His comment sat right under the post like a landmine:

“I’m not very happy with this.”

Not emojis. Not jokes. Just that — short, blunt, dangerous.

Which, naturally, made everyone lose their minds.

“OH MY GOD JEALOUS WILLIAM?!”
“Protective boyfriend energy LMAO.”
“Sir, you’re not hiding it at all.”
“He really said delete this right now.”

Est, of course, didn’t reply right away. He let the comment sit there, fueling fire. He posted another Instagram story instead — a casual selfie, hair damp, captioned:

“Just working 😏”

William saw it instantly. His friends knew, because his phone was practically vibrating off the table with notifications.

“Bro,” Lego muttered, scrolling through the flood of memes already forming. “You’re trending again.”

William didn’t even look up from his phone. His jaw was tight, thumb hovering over Est’s contact like he was debating whether to call or storm over in person.

“He’s pushing my buttons on purpose, ” William grumbled. “He knows I don’t like it.”

Nut smirked from the couch. “Then why does he look so happy about it?”

And sure enough, when William refreshed the comments again, Est had finally replied.

Right under his jealous protest, Est’s calm, infuriatingly teasing words appeared:

“Funny, I don’t remember needing your approval.”

The words hit like a spark to dry tinder — fans exploding in screaming emojis, memes already spreading, William’s friends howling at the sheer audacity.

But William wasn’t laughing. Not even close.

William called Est. Once. Twice. Five times.

No answer.

Est had seen the notifications — William knew he had — because the little “seen” check popped up on their chat. And yet… no reply.

By the time William was standing outside Est’s condo, heart pounding with irritation and something far sharper, he wasn’t even sure how he’d gotten there. He only knew he couldn’t sit still while everyone on the internet was drooling over his Phi.

He jabbed at the doorbell.

A pause. Then Est’s voice, calm through the intercom:

“...William?”

“Open the door.”

“Little late, isn’t it?” Est teased, but the lock clicked anyway.

William shoved the door open and strode inside. Est was fresh out of the shower, hair still damp, T-shirt clinging in places where water hadn’t fully dried. He leaned casually against the kitchen counter, sipping water like he hadn’t just set the internet on fire.

“You didn’t answer my calls,” William said flatly.

“I was busy.” Est’s mouth curved into that infuriating half-smile. “Seems like you weren’t, though.”

William’s jaw clenched. “That post—”

“Mm?” Est tilted his head. “Do you not like it?”

“You know I don’t.” His voice was sharper now, hands balling into fists at his sides. “You let everyone see—”

“My abs?” Est asked, all innocence, though his eyes gleamed with mischief. “My waist chain? What exactly are you upset about, Nong?”

William’s breath caught. He hated when Est used that calm, teasing tone — it made him feel like he was the only one burning.

“You’re doing this on purpose,” he accused.

“Am I?” Est took a slow sip of water, deliberately dragging the moment out. “Or are you just… jealous?”

William’s silence was answer enough. His chest rose and fell, eyes locked on Est with a mixture of anger, frustration, and something rawer that he couldn’t disguise.

Finally, Est set his glass down and crossed the room, stopping just close enough that William could feel the heat of him.

“Say it then,” Est murmured. “Say you want me to stop. Say you want all of it just for you.”

The words hit like a challenge — and William, teeth gritted, finally let the truth spill.

“I do want it just for me.” His voice cracked, low and possessive. “I don’t want anyone else looking at you like that.”

For a beat, Est only studied him, the teasing gone from his expression — replaced by something softer, deeper. Then, very slowly, he smiled.

“That’s all you had to say.”

Est didn’t step back. Instead, he leaned in — close enough that William could smell the faint trace of his cologne, clean and sharp, mixed with the warmth of his skin.

“You really came all the way here just to tell me that?” Est’s voice was low, amused. “Nong, people comment on me all the time. Why does it matter so much to you?”

William’s throat tightened. “Because you’re mine.”

A flicker in Est’s eyes. He didn’t move away. Instead, he reached up and brushed his damp hair back, the motion casual but deliberate, droplets of water sliding down his jawline. His shirt clung to his shoulders, thin fabric doing nothing to hide the heat underneath.

“You don’t sound very convincing,” Est murmured, stepping even closer until their chests almost brushed. He tilted his head, lips hovering near William’s ear. “If you really want me to stop, you should prove it.”

William’s hands shot out before he even thought — gripping Est’s waist, pulling him flush against him.

Est laughed softly, a low, dangerous sound that sent shivers down William’s spine. “That’s more like it.”

“You think this is funny?” William hissed, voice rough now, every muscle tight with restraint. “Watching me go crazy while everyone else gets to look at you?”

Est’s hand slid up, fingertips grazing William’s jaw. “Maybe I like knowing you’ll come running.” His breath ghosted against William’s lips, wicked and sweet. “That no matter who looks… you’ll always be the one who claims.”

Something in William snapped. He crushed their mouths together, kiss fierce and unyielding, all frustration and hunger spilling out in one reckless motion. Est didn’t pull away — he leaned into it, smiling against William’s lips like he’d won.

When William finally broke the kiss, breathing hard, Est’s smirk was back — but softer now, laced with satisfaction.

“See?” Est whispered, thumb brushing across William’s cheek. “I told you. You only had to prove it.”

William’s grip on Est’s waist was iron, like he was trying to fuse them together. His kiss was rough, hungry, desperate — the kind of kiss that left no room for air, only need.

But when Est pulled back, he wasn’t breathless. He was smiling. Dangerous, deliberate.

“You really can’t stand it, can you?” he murmured, voice low as his fingers toyed with the hem of William’s shirt. “Everyone else seeing me… wanting me.”

William’s jaw clenched. “Don’t—”

Before he could finish, Est shoved him — not hard, but firm enough that William stumbled back onto the couch.

He barely had time to react before Est followed, straddling his lap in one smooth motion. Water droplets still clung to his hair, sliding down his throat, disappearing beneath the collar of his too-thin shirt. The fabric gaped open, teasing William with every breath he took.

“Say it again,” Est said, settling his weight deliberately, making William feel every inch of him. His smirk was infuriating. “Say I’m yours.”

William’s hands shot up to Est’s hips, holding tight, grounding himself before he lost it completely. His voice came out low, hoarse:

“You are mine. Phi, I swear—”

Est leaned down, their lips brushing but not quite touching, taunting him with the distance. “Then why,” he whispered, slow and deliberate, “does it feel like I’m the one in control?”

William sucked in a sharp breath, knuckles white where they gripped Est’s sides. Est’s teasing, his smirk, his calm — it was all designed to drive him insane.

And it was working.

“You’re playing with fire,” William ground out, eyes burning into his.

Est’s smile deepened, wicked and unshaken. “Good. I like the heat.”

He closed the distance himself this time, kissing William deep — slower than before, but just as consuming, his body pressing William into the couch. William fought to take control, but every time he tried, Est shifted just out of reach, reminding him who was leading the game tonight.

By the time Est finally pulled away, lips red and eyes gleaming, William was trembling with the effort of restraint.

“Relax,” Est whispered, brushing his thumb across William’s lower lip. “You wanted me to stop? I didn’t. You wanted me all to yourself? You have me right here. So what are you going to do with me, Nong?”

Est’s taunting words hung between them, dripping with challenge.

Something in William snapped. His hands shot up, grabbing Est’s wrists and pinning them against the couch cushion in one swift motion. The smug curve of Est’s lips faltered for the first time, replaced with a flash of surprise — and heat.

“You wanted control?” William’s voice was low, dangerous. “You’ve had it long enough.”

Before Est could respond, William crashed their mouths together, all teeth and fire, swallowing Est’s sharp intake of breath. His grip loosened just enough to slide his hands down, locking tight on Est’s waist as he flipped them — Est suddenly flat on his back, William hovering above him.

Est’s smirk returned, shaky this time. “Finally,” he whispered, almost like he’d been waiting for this.

William didn’t answer. His mouth trailed down — jaw, throat, the vulnerable line of Est’s neck. He bit down hard enough to make Est gasp, then soothed the sting with his tongue, leaving a dark mark blooming just below the curve of his jaw.

“Mine,” William growled against his skin.

Est arched beneath him, fingers curling into William’s shirt, pulling him closer. He tilted his head back willingly, exposing more, almost daring William to keep going.

And William did.

His lips moved lower, across the slope of Est’s collarbones, biting, sucking, marking everywhere he could reach. Red blotches bloomed against pale skin, spreading down to Est’s chest where the thin shirt had already fallen open. Each mark was possessive, deliberate — a warning to anyone who might look too long at Est’s pictures.

“You think it’s a game,” William muttered against his skin, voice rough, breath hot. “But you were begging for this. Begging for me.”

Est’s answering laugh was breathless now, broken between gasps. “Maybe I was.”

William kissed him again — fierce, claiming — then pulled back just enough to look at his handiwork. Est’s skin was littered with marks, his lips swollen, his eyes glazed with something far from mockery.

“No camera,” William said firmly, his thumb brushing the edge of one dark bruise. “No fans. No one else. Just me.”

For once, Est didn’t tease. He only looked up at him, chest rising and falling, voice low but certain.

“Just you.”

William didn’t wait for another smirk or another taunt. He kissed Est again, deeper, hungrier, pressing him down into the cushions until there was no space left between them.

Est’s legs shifted, wrapping loosely around William’s waist, pulling him closer with a soft, involuntary sound that sent fire rushing through William’s veins. His teasing was gone now — replaced with something rawer, breathier, honest.

William’s mouth kept moving, relentless — along his neck, collarbones, down the sharp line of his chest where the thin shirt clung wetly. Every mark he left was darker than the last, each one claiming, branding. Est gasped when William nipped at the edge of his collarbone, the sound low and unguarded.

“William…” His name slipped out, softer than any tease, more like a plea.

That was all it took.

William’s hands slid under the cling of fabric, pushing it aside, mapping the heat of Est’s skin with his palms. Est arched into the touch, his head tipping back against the couch, lips parted, eyes fluttering shut.

“You drive me insane,” William muttered against his chest, voice rough, words broken by kisses. “But I’m never letting you go.”

Est’s fingers tangled in his hair, tugging him back up for another kiss — slow, messy, burning — one that said everything his smirk never could. His answer was clear, whispered against William’s lips:

“I don’t want you to.”

The rest of the night blurred — the couch, the laughter that broke between heated kisses, the way Est clung to him like he finally wanted to be caught. The room filled with the sound of whispered names and gasped breaths, the thin line between teasing and surrender shattering completely.

And when the lights finally dimmed, when the city outside quieted, the only truth left was this:

Est had pushed, William had snapped — and neither of them had any intention of stopping.

Notes:

Thank you for reading! 💙 This was just a quick, self-indulgent birthday weekend piece, but I’m also working on a longer WilliamEst fic 👀 In that one, they’re neighbors — Est sees William as his brother’s best friend, while William is hopelessly in love with him. I’ll (hopefully!) be updating it soon, so stay tuned for more jealous William and oblivious Est in a whole new setting.
