Chapter Text
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?” ― Epicurus
Isagi Yoichi, in the assassin world, he is the king, the person who rules both the client and target. Those who fear him might call him lunatic, insane, or crazy, and those who respect him call Yoichi a merciless demon king who doesn’t have horns, tails, or a sense of empathy. A normal office worker in the day, a killer by night.
“Ha! What a joke.”
Rosary beads clashed against each other as Yoichi walked closer, his footsteps clacking on the cold marble floor. The trembling priest cried in horror, “Stay back you demon!” He crawled back. Yoichi could see the terror in the priest's eyes and it was a beautiful sight. Tears pricked at the priest's eyes, the sentence "Satan." was plastered all over the pastor's face. It was almost tempting to let the priest go and let him live in paranoia and fear. What face would he make then?
“Demon?”
A crude smile crept up onto Yoichi’s face, the blood from altar servers on his cheek seemed to back away as the corner of his lips curved. “It hurts me that you think like this.” Yoichi looked around the church, expressionless. “You do have a beautiful church, Father .” The sadistic blue haired boy emphasized the word father, provoking the priest. The priest gritted his teeth, probably biting back brutal curses. Yoichi teased him some more, throwing in the bait hoping he'll bite down onto it. Yoichi shouted insults and mocking remarks, and just like any other human being the priest couldn't take it anymore. He yelled back, his face basically red with fury, “You have no right to call me Father! You satanic bastard!” Yoichi let out a sarcastic laugh, he rolled his eyes. Yoichi clenched his knife, it was drenched in a deep crimson red, or well, blood.
Drip. Drip.
It splattered onto the ground creating a small puddle. Yoichi shrugged as he stepped forwards, purposefully stepping into the small pool of blood. His eyes narrowed into the priest's soul, he was shredding up the little of hope that the holy man ever had. Like a wolf eyeing its prey, ready to catch the prey, ready to tear into its flesh and skin. He watched as the useless pathetic priest reached for a charity basket. He looked up at Yoichi with pleading eyes
“D-don’t you want this? Money? Isn’t that why you want to kill me? H-here! Take it!”
The priest grabbed handfuls of cash and tossed some over to the blue haired man. He watched the so-called holy man throw wads of money at him. A 10 cash bill fell onto Yoichi’s head, he took the cash and watched as the priest’s eyes lit up. Yoichi ripped the bill into shreds, the little pieces falling into pools of blood. He watched again as the pastor’s upper lip trembled.
" Disgusting. "
Yoichi scoffed as he continued, "How can a repulsive pest like you be holy? Is this a joke?"
He spat out, this time his face was piled up in layers of dissatisfaction. Yoichi was getting bored, this whole situation was getting boring. He groaned.
"Hey… Father! Are you done playing around?"
The word 'Father' left a weird taste in Yoichi's mouth. It was loathsome, but he would do anything to see that look of dread and fright on anyone's face. Yoichi was done playing around now, he clicked his tongue, before slashing the chest of the priest, it was one sharp clean cut. The holy man's face froze, shock washed over the trembling coward. His blood oozed onto his white gown, staining it with his own blood. And as the priest tried to react once more, he dropped dead, producing a loud thud behind Yoichi's back. Yoichi stared at his knife, this time coated in holy blood, or maybe questionable holy blood.
Suddenly, Yoichi remembered his trainer, Ego Jinpachi, telling him to finish the job quickly. If Ego figures out that Yoichi had been fooling around with his targets once more he might lock Yoichi up again. He sighed, Yoichi stepped towards the pastor’s cold dead body with a plan in mind. He slowly opened up the lukewarm fingers of the old man and gently placed the beads into his palm.
“There. Don’t you look much better?”
In both amusement and emptiness, Yoichi took 5 steps backwards. He admired the work he had created, a so-called holy figure in the middle, while all the rest of his servers scattered around him. Pools of red and green paper with traces of bodily fluids, surrounded the mess. Yoichi sneered in sarcasm.
“You’re awfully much easier to bear when you're silent. Even so, aren't I doing you a favor? Letting you meet your own make-believe God? Pft… Ha… Hahaha!”
He bursted out in laughter along with clutching his stomach so hard it almost made him puke. His laughs bounced off the church’s walls and pillars. Soon Yoichi’s laughter faded and blended in with the wind as he walked out the doors of the church. The breeze flowed through his blueish hair, combing it. It was time to go back. Yoichi turned to look at the still lit up church and faced the other way. He left without saying another word and vanished into the starry night.
Only 2 days had passed by, before the police and news reporters had caught wind of Yoichi’s little murder spree. It had been mentioned and talked about so much that everywhere he went it was whispered and gossiped about. And as more and more people talked about it, it gave Yoichi a sense of pride. He grew both impatient and excited for the next mission, very much so that even his hands started shaking every time Ego had called him into his office. But as for now he would have to lay low and wait until someone needed his services. He was annoyed at this never ending cycle. Sought out for, murder, paid, then finally wait, and wait and wait. If it wasn’t for Ego holding him back he would’ve already… Yoichi let out a heavy sigh. This was annoying.
He already wanted to kill something…
Someone.
But sadly he couldn’t, Yoichi could admit it was disappointing, yes, but even crazy dogs have a leash to tug on. Yoichi’s mind flashed back to Ego, his creepy grin and his spiraling eyes gave Yoichi a disturbing feeling. It wasn’t fear, but instead desire to overcome him. However, there was so reason to, sure it would fuel his selfish wishes but what else? What other benefits would he gain from killing his trainer? Exactly, nothing. It was burdensome to be held on a collar, but it was also burdensome to clean up unseasonably difficult messes. And anyways, it’s not like Yoichi is forced to put on a collar, he gladly does it himself.
As he thought to himself while crossing the street he passed by a dark alleyway. Shockingly, someone took hold of Yoichi’s wrist. The anonymous stranger dragged him into an alley. Yoichi decided to play along. He got thrown to the side, his back colliding with a dumpster. It didn’t hurt, but he acted like it did. Yoichi groaned.
“Give me everything you have.”
The roughed up looking guy grumbled. Seconds passed by but Yoichi didn’t make a single sound. He repeated his demanding command.
“Give me everything you have or I’ll kill ya!”
The blue haired male shrugged, making the man grow irritated. Yoichi gazed over the guy’s body. His eyes noticed the tattoo across his neck, circling before dropping down, it was a chain type tattoo, those edgy ones. Yoichi stared at the tattoo, his eyes following its direction. Suddenly, he felt a hand grip his head, a bruised hand covering his vision.
“Wha’cha lookin at huh? Judging me or something?”shook in excitement.
Yoichi could smell the scent of cigarettes. It was prudent, he could tell that this man just had a smoke. Before Yoichi knew it, he was laying on concrete, rocks stabbing into his hip and waist with fingers around his neck, choking him. He gasped for air, excitement running through his veins. Although his sight was blurred he could still make out the silhouette of the delinquent. Just when he was about to reach for the man’s greasy hair. A tall being stood over them, Yoichi froze. He couldn’t take action anymore, unless the person was a part of the delinquent's crew. Yoichi

Just when he was about to reach for the man’s greasy hair. A tall being stood over them, Yoichi froze. He couldn’t take action anymore, unless the person was a part of the delinquent's crew. Yoichi's arm changed directions, he seized the tall man's pants. He took way too much time, at this point he really might die. His fingers clutched the soft cloth, tugging on it gently. Luckily, the person got the hint, he kicked the harasser in the stomach, letting him crash into a pile of trash lying around. . He shrieked in pain, letting go of Yoichi's neck. The blue haired man's fingertips touched his neck. There were scratches that had blooding welling up surrounding the wound. He didn't notice it until now. The harrasser’s face was drenched in all sorts of mystery liquids and powdered with a deep dark ash.
"You-you bastard!"
The coarse voice echoed in the long dark alley, bouncing off walls. Finally, Yoichi's head tilted up he was still in a haze, his glossy cobalt blue eyes peered at the tall man's rich moss green hair, bangs so long that almost reach his organ of sight, and his well built figure, especially those muscular thighs that definitely couldn't be hidden from any type baggy clothing.
The man’s hand reached out to Yoichi, the hand was different from the delinquent’s hand. His fingers were slim and long, covered by black gloves and the letter R. The letter was embroidered with gold thread, perfection to the touch. In fact there were no flaws in the man, he was beautifully handsome, tall, and a godly physique. Yoichi felt the desire of destroying the man in front of him to be forceful. Having him in his hands, the idea sounded alluring and fascinating. It would be fun to play as a frail coward even just for a while. The man held out his hand, looking into Yoichi’s dead eyes.
“Get up.”
His voice icy and those eyes that shone right back at him, full of light and clueless to this cold hearted world.
Badump
