Summary:

“His name is Deku?

Denki hooks his chin over Katsuki's shoulder. “Yeah, weird name, but read his profile!” Denki puts his hand over Katsuki’s on the mouse and scrolls down. “He’s twenty-eight, a paralegal, loves comic books, prefers a night in compared to a night out, and, the best part…“ Denki clicks on Deku’s photo and it fills the screen.

It’s a far away full body shot, which who even does those, so the face is blurry, but Katsuki does see—

“Those hips!” Denki yells straight into his ear.

Katsuki shakes Denki off of his back, but it doesn’t deter him for a second.

“Absolutely breedable. Ultimate twink. You can almost see his ass from the front, Baku,” Denki continues, grabbing him by the shoulders. “The front.”

“I don’t choose clients for their looks, dunce face. That’s fucking rude,” Katsuki grumbles.

But like, yo.

Chapter Text

Katsuki is four years old, three monkey bars away from the dropoff, and two minutes away from falling in love for the first time when he hears a scream coming from the sandbox.

“We can’t fit in the sandbox because you’re too fat!”

Katsuki hangs from the monkey bars and squints over at the commotion. Two kids are standing on the lip of the box, one doing the yelling, one pointing and laughing. He can’t see who they’re talking to, but he does see it when one of the kids leans down and pushes.

Frick no. Not on Katsuki’s watch.

“Hey!” he shouts, swinging his legs and landing in a crouch, one hand on the ground and a glare focused on the sandbox bullies.

All of that superhero landing practice he did by jumping off the couch was totally worth it.

The bully closest to Katsuki looks over at him while the other kicks sand at the kid he pushed down. “You should mind your bidness.”

“Well, you shouldn’ push.” Katsuki looks down his nose at them, crossing his arms over his chest and bringing their focus to his All Might shirt so they know he’s serious. “Didin’ your mommy teach you mammers?”

The other kid stops kicking sand and runs towards Katsuki with his arms extended, ready to push, again, but Katsuki has good reflexes. That’s what his doctor said when he tapped under Katsuki's knee and Katsuki kicked him in the shin super hard, so he simply steps to the side and watches as he falls face first on the ground.

Katsuki squats down and pokes him in the ribs. “Thas’ called barma. Look it up if you can even read, you baby.”

And just like a baby, the kid starts crying, running over to go tell his mommy. He raises his eyebrow at the other bully, and then the kid books it out of the sandbox, occasionally looking over his shoulder to see if Katsuki is still looking and running faster when he realizes Katsuki is not only looking but has his fists squared up in front of him.

“Um—” Katsuki hears a soft voice come from behind him and feels a tug on his shorts.

He turns around and there, sitting in the sand, is the cutest boy in the world, looking at Katsuki with tears in his eyes and sand in his hair. Katsuki drops his hands to his sides, and suddenly something feels wrong with his tummy; it feels all swirly like he’s gonna puke up his peanut butter crackers, which better not be the case because Kirishimas’s birthday party is tomorrow and he’s going to have a clown, and Katsuki will not be missing out on that.

“Thanks for p‘tecting me,” the kid says, blinking up at him, sand sticking to the tear tracks on his chubby cheeks. He tugs at Katsuki’s shorts again and smiles, seeming to find his voice as he shouts, “You like a superhero!”

And this kid must be right, because if Katsuki wasn’t a superhero it would be scary how hard his heart is beating in his chest. But because he is a superhero, per the very cool and accurate declaration of the sandbox kid, instead of running to his mom, Katsuki grins and places his fists on his hips in his favorite victory pose.

“Yeah! I saved you!” he says proudly, and the kid giggles before crying out and squeezing his eyes shut.

“Der’s sand in my eye,” he grumbles, rubbing at his eye with a chubby clenched fist.

“Wait, I gots it,” Katsuki says, falling to his knees and rubbing at the sand coating his cheeks until it falls away. He takes a deep breath and blows it out, knocking a few grains out of his eyelashes and then rubs at his hair until all the sand is tousled away. With a nod of a job well done, Katsuki places his hands on the sides of the kid’s face and pushes until his lips squish together like a fish. “There! All done.”

The kid blinks his eyes open, and Katsuki watches happiness spread over his face, the force of his smile pushing his pink chubby cheeks against Katsuki’s hands and squishing his eyes almost closed.

Last year, Katsuki fell off his tricycle trying to take a sharp turn and ended up scraping up his knees. When his mom came over to check on him, he was so angry and frustrated that he punched her on the shoulder with tears in his eyes.

That’s when his mom told him about Big Feelings.

“Sometimes when something happens, we get lots of tingles here,” she poked him on the belly, “and here,” and then the middle of his forehead. “That’s what we call big feelings.”

“B’wig ‘eelings?” Katsuki repeated, and his mom nodded, placing another bandage on his knee.

“You got it, kiddo. And when it feels like there are so many big feelings inside, it seems like the only way to get them out is to hit. But there's another way... do you want to know the secret?”

Katsuki gripped his mom’s hand and leaned closer. “Tell me da secret!”

After a kiss to his bandaged knee, she squeezed his hand. “Instead of trying to make someone feel what you are feeling by hitting them, you let them know what you’re feeling by using your super awesome big boy words.”

Honestly, Katsuki was pretty underwhelmed with the quality of the secret, but nonetheless, he promised his mom he would use his big boy words and only use his hands when he was fighting bullies, which led to another conversation—

But at present, this sandbox kid was making Katsuki feel every tingle in the universe. So with his mom’s voice echoing in his head, Katsuki squeezes the kid’s cheeks together and screams his feelings in his face.

“I LOVE YOU!”

The kid’s eyes go wide, his lips pressed into an open oval from Katsuki’s hold on him, and then suddenly Katsuki is being toppled over into the sand. The kid wraps his arms around Katsuki’s shoulders and beams, face shoved up close to his as he shouts back, “I wuv you too!”

Katsuki squeezes the kid tight around the middle and wiggles them back and forth and lets all of his Big Feelings spill out of him. “When we gets older we’s can get mwarried!”

They break out into giggles, smiling big as they roll around in the sand, both of them covered in it this time.

“Wanna play wit’ me?” he asks, and saying yes is the easiest thing Katsuki has ever done in his four years.

What feels like minutes, but must be hours, go by, and Katsuki is suddenly broken out of his concentration in building a rocket ship for two out of sand when his mom shouts across the park that it’s time to go home.

He glares over at her with a pout before he lets out a big sigh. “I gots to go now,” he grumbles, taking a fistful of sand and slowly letting it trickle out of his grip.

“That’s ‘kay!” The kid wraps him up in a hug again. “I see you ‘gain real soon, right?”

Katsuki squeezes him back and nods, his face tucked into his neck. And even though he really, really doesn’t want to, he lets go, but not before smacking a kiss on the kid’s chubby cheek.

The kid gasps and clutches the side of his face, watching as Katsuki walks backwards towards his mom, his eyes locked on his sandbox fiancé and waving all the while.

From the moment his mom grabs his hand to start the walk home, Katsuki rattles off about his first successful mission as a superhero, and how that comes second to getting engaged to the most cutest and nicest boy that he knows for sure his mom is gonna love.

“And what is the name of my future son-in-law?” she asks, and Katsuki freezes.

Tears fill his eyes. Oh no, he doesn’t know his name. They need to go back to the park—

“Oh, baby, it’s okay!” she says, standing firm as Katsuki pulls at her hand. “You can just ask him next time you see him, hmm?”

But Katsuki doesn’t see him again. The next time they go to the park, the kid isn’t there. Same with the next time, and the next, until Katsuki tells his mom that he doesn’t want to go to that park anymore because seeing the sandbox empty makes him want to go home.

As he gets older, Katsuki finds himself chasing romance. And even though he really shouldn’t consider his sandbox fiancé as his first relationship, he can’t stop himself from comparing everything that comes after to that hour long love made of chubby cheeks and grains of sand.

Nothing ever comes close.

It’s his second year of high school when Hiro, a pretty guy with floppy bangs and a straight toothed smile, asks him out. Katsuki carries his books to class for him, walks him to and from school, and when they go out on their first date, he buys them a crepe to split. They laugh when they get cream all over their mouths and hold hands when they kiss it off each other's lips.

Katsuki is certain it’s love with how it feels like he’s falling every time Hiro looks his way, and how sick he feels when he stops.

A piece of his heart cracks off and shatters when Katsuki tells him:

“I love you.”

And Hiro responds with, “That’s too much.”

It’s the first semester of college, and Katsuki meets an exchange student named Shelly. She’s quiet, likes music that Katsuki doesn’t, and he ends up spending more time in her dorm than his own.

It’s a school night when she pulls out a joint and teaches him how to smoke. The room is clouded in gray when she flops her head on his shoulder and looks up at him with her eyes heavy lidded and smudged with eyeliner.

After taking the last drag off the joint, she asks him through a puff of smoke, “Wanna fuck?”

His limbs feel slow, but his heart beats fast as he whispers back, “Sure.”

She calls it fucking, but Katsuki calls it something else. He knows he’s already fallen, and after a semester of smoking and sex, he can’t keep himself from asking:

“Do you like me?”

She shrugs. Doesn’t look up from her phone. “Yeah, sure.”

Katsuki takes a shaky breath. “Do you love me?”

She looks up from her phone that time, each beat of her laugh loosening another piece of his heart that falls into the pit of his stomach when she stops.

“No.”

Graduation gets him job offers that bring him to the city, and the city brings him to Akemi. They meet at a club where Akemi buys Katsuki a drink and then another and then they’re on the dance floor. He grinds up against Katsuki and whispers in his ear how gorgeous he is, and it’s easy for Katsuki to take him home.

They become something regular, and Katsuki finds himself falling again

During a night out, Katsuki calls Akemi his boyfriend out loud instead of just in his head and gets a pat on the shoulder that breaks off another piece of his heart.

“It’s not that deep, man!”

Katsuki doesn't fall anymore.

He goes out on Saturdays, stumbles back into his apartment on Sunday mornings, and goes to work on weekdays.

Most days he’s waking up groggy and sore. Others he’s homesick and hates his job. He’s twenty-seven and bitter, love having left a bad flavor on his tongue that he doesn't have interest in tasting again.

It’s Denki of all people that gets him to start living again.

“Whaddya want, dunce face?”

“Baku!” Denki’s voice comes out of his phone loud and tinny, and it makes Katsuki groan. “Shinsou and I just took the next big step in our relationship!”

Katsuki snatches his phone and sits up. “You’re getting married?”

“No!” Katsuki makes a confused noise, and Denki laughs. “We’re starting a business together!”

“You guys are fucking stupid,” he mumbles, running a hand through his hair. “That’s like, bigger than getting married.”

“I know!” Denki sighs dreamily. “It’s so romantic.”

Katsuki sighs, not dreamily. “Are you seriously calling me at the asscrack of dawn to tell me about your future financial ruin?”

“First of all, it’s literally noon.” Katsuki looks over at his alarm clock, and it indeed reads 12:00. “Second, I want you to be part of this. I’m offering you a job, Baku.”

Katsuki scoffs. “A job at your unestablished business with your boyfriend? No thanks.”

Denki whines over the line. Katsuki puts him on speaker before tossing the phone on the pillow next to him.

“It’s not like that! We are literally going to be the next big thing in simulated human connection.”

Katsuki’s face scrunches up. “What the absolute fuck is that supposed to mean?”

“You know those places where you can rent a date? Or a dad, or a friend or whatever? Imagine that, but in an app! You need a date for a wedding? No problem! Feeling lonely and want company for dinner? We got you! All done conveniently on your phone.”

Katsuki pauses. Because that—shit, that’s something.

“Huh.” Katsuki drums his fingers on his mattress.

“It’s good, right? And before you shut me down, you should look at the powerpoint presentation I just sent you.” His phone chimes, and a new email notification pops up on the screen. “Bro, I’m telling you, these financial projections are insane. We are talking hella money, hella quick. You just need to say yes, come back home, and we’ll take care of the rest!”

Katsuki sucks in a breath.

Home.

He looks around his studio apartment. Between the lack of furniture and empty walls, it doesn’t even look like he lives here. He spends his days off drowning in his bedsheets and watching the walls close in on him until it’s late enough to find someone to escape himself in at the club. He doesn’t remember when complacency became his default state of being, but that’s exactly what his life has become.

His eyes land on the wall made of windows, and he swears he sees it move an inch closer to him.

“What’s the job?”

It’s two in the afternoon, and Katsuki is drinking wine.

Well, more like he’s putting the glass to his lips and tipping it just enough to look like he’s taking a sip before placing it back down. His date doesn’t seem too worried about how there is no less wine than there was when the server dropped it off, not with the way he’s chasing Katsuki’s foot under the table for a nonconsensual round of footsies.

“—that’s when he told me, moi, that I’m too much! As if I don’t deserve the world handed to me on a silver platter,” his date, Aoyama, an absolute terror of a twink, says, throwing himself back in his chair. “Can you believe that?”

Oh, Katsuki can absolutely believe that. Aoyama has been a red flag since he requested Katsuki for a date. His submission included a preference for Katsuki to look hot and to speak only to agree. That paired with a list of approved compliments he provided to shower him with during their time together had Katsuki dreading this date since it was added to his calendar.

“Unbelievable,” Katsuki says, sincere enough.

Aoyama blinks at Katsuki a few times before a sloppy grin takes over his lips. “You’re such a good listener,” he sighs, tracing his finger over the tablecloth. “Tell me how good I look.”

Katsuki thinks through the list of compliments that he hasn’t already used.

“You’re twinkling.”

A high pitch giggle bursts out of him, and Katsuki holds back from rolling his eyes, but it is a close fucking call.

“I have to say, when I signed up for that app, I didn't expect to see someone so handsome up for grabs,” he says, lifting his glass and looking at Katsuki over the rim, “they must have a really good vetting process.”

Oh, finally, something they can agree on. Katsuki is hot as fuck.

“I know it’s supposed to be just a date but…” Aoyama trails off and then Katsuki feels what is definitely Aoyama’s socked foot slipping up his calf.

Katsuki’s arm flies under the table and snatches his ankle. “That’s against the terms and conditions,” he grits out through clenched teeth.

Aoyama pouts and pulls his foot back. “No exceptions? Not even if I’m paying for the highest subscription package?” He bats his eyelashes again, and it’s just as unsuccessful in doing something for Katsuki as it was at the beginning of the date.

Besides, he is not paying for the highest package. Katsuki knows for a fact that Aoyama is on the basic plan. He gets a single sixty minute date a month; no premiums, no second location, and certainly no dick.

“We’re not in sex work,” Katsuki says firmly, his lips quirked up at the corners. It’s not a great smile, but it’s enough that he should still get a good review after this.

Aoyama’s foot comes back, skips over his leg and presses straight against Katsuki’s crotch. “Not even if I give you a big tip—”

Okay, fuck the review.

Katsuki shoots up from his chair, sending Aoyama off balance and grappling at the tablecloth in a desperate attempt to not fall off his chair.

“No tips,” Katsuki says. He grabs his jacket from the back of his chair. “And no more dates.” He motions to the server who comes running over, his eyes shifting back and forth between the two of them. Katsuki points at Aoyama struggling to pull himself up. “He’ll take care of the bill.”

Katsuki turns on his heel and leaves, Aoyama sputtering in disbelief as the server asks him how he’ll be paying.

As soon as Katsuki steps outside of the restaurant, he tears off his tie, taking in what feels like the first breath he’s had in almost an hour. After a deep inhale and a woosah a bit too loud for the sidewalk, Katsuki starts his trek back to the office.

Katsuki is a simple guy. He likes working out, keeping his apartment clean, and when he gets the chance, eating ass. He’s just like everyone else, really. And when he took this job, he set two important rules that he takes very seriously: to mind his own business and to never ever fuck his clients.

Normally, his job is just fine. It pays damn good, his meals on the clock are compensated for, and sometimes, and he means sometimes, he meets cool people who can hold a conversation.

But then there's people like sparkle ass who think that just because Katsuki can be hired for simulated romance it means that it's cool to touch his cock literally under the table. On a first date. On a Tuesday. Two in the afternoon.

The lack of decorum in some people, jesus christ.

Don’t get him wrong, he supports sex work; that’s some tough shit. But that’s not the job he signed up for.

Though… signed up is a pretty gracious way to phrase it. Coercion sounds more accurate, via an unfortunately really good powerpoint presentation and promises of making his own schedule, free food, and job stability via potential growth exceeding three hundred percent of Denki and Shinsou’s initial investment in the first six months.

And the craziest part is that it fucking worked. Eight months later, they’ve exceeded their goals and expanded their staff. Best recognizes best, and Katsuki can admit that Shinsou and Denki cooked, and in return, Katsuki is eating. It’s just with a side of people that Katsuki wouldn’t be caught dead interacting with if it weren’t for his paycheck.

It always hits him that this is his life now when he enters the shared office complex where NecRomance is based, which Denki insisted was an absolutely necessary investment to their remote capable app to rent from. Katsuki’s pretty certain it’s just so Denki can play office with all of his friends on the regular, but he can admit that it is nice to have consistent meet ups with the squad.

He opens the door with crooked vinyl lettering: NecRomance: Romance is dead but our dates aren’t!

“Welcome to NecRomance headquarters, where we offer human connection at an hourly rate—oh, Splodey!” Denki stands up from his spot behind the, also very unnecessary, reception desk. “Back so soon?”

Katsuki hangs his jacket on the coat rack and toes off his shoes. “What’s with the spiel? You actually expecting people to admit their desperation in-person?”

“I’ve been reading this book!” Denki says excitedly, holding a copy of Keep Them Coming: Customer Edition. “It’s about pre-emptive customer service.” Katsuki raises an eyebrow, and Denki waves his hand at him dismissively. “You wouldn’t get it.”

Shaking his head, Katsuki puts on a pair of slippers and walks to his desk, plopping himself in his unnecessary chair at his unnecessary desk with a sigh.

“But back to you and why you’re here—” Denki checks the time on his computer, “—twenty-five minutes early. Too hot for him to handle the full sixty?”

“He put his foot on my dick,” Katsuki says flatly.

“Well, that’s no good!” Denki tuts. He turns back to his computer and starts tapping on his keyboard. “One pervert ban coming right up.” He peeks back at Katsuki over his shoulder. “You okay? Can I offer you some company health and wellness resources? Here at NecRomance, we value our employees’ mental health and safety—”

Katsuki cuts him off. “I’m fine. It’s just fuckin’ annoying.”

Denki clicks his mouse a few more times and then spins in his chair so they’re facing each other. “Still. I’m sorry, cutie pie. Shitty way to start your day, huh?”

“You can say that again—” Katsuki pauses when he glances up. “What the fuck are you wearing?”

Denki grins and crosses one sheer black panty hosed leg over the other, pencil skirt riding up to the top of his thighs, and crossing his arms over a white half unbuttoned blouse so thin Katsuki tries to avoid making eye contact with a nipple. “Hot right? I’m the secretary, so it’s like fifty percent of my job to be office eye candy.”

Katsuki squints at him. “For who?”

“For you!” Denki exclaims, flapping his hands. “The boys, too! And I know Mina loves this bubble butt on display. And if the CEO sees me and gets inspired to bend me over my desk, then so be it!”

“You are the CEO.”

“Co-CEO,” Denki says, pointing at Katsuki with a freshly manicured finger. “Which means I still have a shot of getting my back blown out by a CEO.”

“I can hear you,” Shinsou’s voice drawls from the back of the office.

“Oh noooo!” Denki whines dramatically. He stands, kicking his desk chair away while leaning over his desk. “I hope I don’t get in trouble for being inappropriate in the workplace!” He looks over his shoulder at Shinsou’s desk, which sits in perfect view of the reception area, clearly by design.

This was not in the powerpoint.

Katsuki rushes to the office kitchen before Denki starts moaning or something else equally debauched, slamming the door behind him but not before hearing Shinsou threatening to teach Denki a lesson and Denki’s responding happy squeal.

“Bro!” Kirishima shouts as he walks in, stirring a wooden stick in a styrofoam cup so ridiculously small in his big ass hands that Katsuki has to bite back a laugh.

“‘Sup, shitty hair.” Katsuki leans against the counter and eyes Kirishima up and down, nodding at his three piece suit and his hair braided neatly down his back. “Headed to another wedding?”

“You know it! It’s like the only thing I get booked for these days,” Kirishima answers, leaning forward as he takes a sip of his coffee in order to not risk it spilling on his shirt.

Katsuki grabs a yogurt from the fridge and checks the expiration at the bottom before ripping off the lid. “Doing us all a favor by taking them all. I fucking hate weddings.”

The last wedding he went to, Katsuki was hired to be the best-man and had to stay for eight whole ass hours. That doesn’t include the pre-work he did in order to solidify his role as the groom's childhood friend that no one had heard of before but suddenly couldn’t miss his best buddy’s wedding.

“I think they’re fun,” Kirishima says, fond and wistful and ah shit Katsuki walked right into that one.

“Wait—”

“And with how good things are going with Hanta, Shouto, and I, it really puts me in the spirit.” He spreads out his hands and gives a little jazz hand. “Like, Hanta and I were so happy, but then Shouto came along and now it’s perfect.”

“It’s been like a month,” Katsuki grimaces.

“Dude, it’s been three months, which for queers is basically three years, so honestly we’re moving kind of slow. We only just moved in together!”

In the five years that Sero and Kirishima had been together B.S.T (Before Shouto Todoroki), they hadn’t even brought up the topic of marriage.

But everything changed when they both got booked for the same date.

“Apparently his dad has been trying to marry him off,” Kirishima had explained, fingers laced together with Sero. “So instead of bringing one boyfriend, he decided that two boyfriends would really send a message.”

“But we really hit it off, Baku,” Sero said seriously.

“So, what are you gonna do? Date him or something?” Katsuki had joked.

Kirishima and Sero glanced at each other before looking back at Katsuki and at the same time said, “Yeah.”

And now Katsuki has Shouto fuckin’ Todoroki in his life.

The door opens, and Sero shimmies into the tight space, his big smile in stark contrast with his swollen and red eyes. “Baby!” he shouts when he sees Kirishima. He looks at Katsuki. “Not-baby!”

Kirishima rushes over to him, sending Katsuki off balance and sputtering on his yogurt, and places his hands on Sero’s cheeks. “You’ve been crying?!”

“It was just a ghost date,” Sero says, pecking Kirishima on the cheek. “Here look at these absolutely pathetic photos I sent them of me sitting alone at the park.” Sero pulls out his phone and swipes through several photos of him looking at the camera with wide eyes, tears pouring down his cheeks, and honest to fuck snot dripping from his nose.

“You’re disgusting.” Katsuki tosses his yogurt in the garbage.

Sero nods, still smiling. “Authentic as shit though. They already left me a review, check it out.” Sero pulls up his inbox and shoves his phone in Katsuki’s face.

Ghost date: 5/5 stars

Sero didn’t just send me one photo, but three, each one more pathetic looking than the last. His shared location showed me that he didn’t leave the agreed upon meeting spot for two hours, and he sent me texts every fifteen minutes asking where I was. I never responded. Made me feel alive again.

Kirishima pulls Sero to his chest and squeezes him. “I don’t know how you do it. It doesn’t matter if it isn’t real, those kinds of requests ruin me.”

Sero grins up at Kirishima from where he is buried in his massive chest. “If this is the treatment I get, I’ll take every ghost request that comes in. Don’t you worry about a thing, babe.”

Inappropriate behavior is running rampant this Tuesday.

“Hey, Baku,” Denki says, sticking his head into the kitchen, pausing when he sees Kirishima and Sero in their embrace. “Awwww. I didn’t realize we were getting gay in the kitchen!”

“We’re not.” Katsuki pushes Denki backwards and follows him back to the reception desk. “What do you want?”

“Okay, so I know you have had a couple bad dates recently, especially that last one. And here at NecRomance we want all our employees to feel that they have a say in their workday—”

“Oh my god. Was this fake ass corporate shit in your book, too?”

“Different book.” He picks up another book, Boss on Top: Uplifting Morale Through Rhyme

What are these fucking books.

“Anyway,” Denki turns to his computer and pulls up a user profile along with an attached request. “I wanted to give you first dibs on this one that just came in. He looks super cute and kinda nerdy. But not like a hentai, fuck me with a twelve inch tentacle dildo kinda nerdy, which is fun, too. But time in place, ya’ know? And after your last date I figured—”

Katsuki tunes Denki out as he reads through the submission form.

“His name is Deku?”

“The front.

“I don’t choose clients for their looks, dunce face. That’s fucking rude,” Katsuki grumbles.

But like, yo.

Deku is totally his type, body wise at least. His face is still a mystery, getting more mysterious as he zooms in because this photo must have been taken on a fucking flip phone circa two-thousand and five, but he can at least makes out curly hair and what looks like a pair of glasses. Which, yeah. That’s—that’s good.

“He’s looking for a date to take to his ten year high school reunion. Apparently he was planning to go with his boyfriend, but they broke up and he doesn’t want to go alone,” Denki reads off the screen, ending with a pout.

“Why go at all? High school reunions are outdated and shitty anyway,” Katsuki says, eyes still locked on the screen.

No, but seriously. His ass is literally visible from the front. What the fuck.

Denki chews on his lip for a moment. “I’m speculating so, grain of salt and all that.” He waves his hand in the air and Katsuki nods along. “But I have a feeling that sweet Deku over here didn’t have the easiest time in high school.”

Katsuki’s eyes go back to the screen and he grimaces. Yeah, he’s getting that vibe too. His profile doesn’t exactly scream popular.

“So,” Denki continues. “Maybe he wants to show up with a super hot guy and brag about how he works at a big law firm, feel all confident, and have a good time.”

Katsuki mulls it over. Honestly, it sounds like Denki is back in his made for TV drama kick and is creating a plot for a script he’ll never finish. But on the other hand…

“Okay, he wants a date for his high school reunion. What else?” Katsuki asks, and Denki looks at his nails dismissively.

“Just… that… maybe you’re his fiancé and wear matching rings?” He shrugs his shoulders and gives a tight lipped smile. “He’ll bring the rings! If you accept, you just gotta tell him your size.”

Normally that would ick him out right away, but instead of shutting it down, he looks at the photo again and zooms out. From what he can see, Deku’s smiling. His posture is a bit stiff, but he’s… cute. And it’s been awhile since Katsuki got to be on a date with cute.

“I’m in,” Katsuki says, straightening up from the desk.

Denki claps his hands excitedly. “Yes! Oh my god, I am obsessed with this. Okay, so. The date is next Friday at eight p.m. You’ll meet him outside of the school where you’ll exchange rings,” Denki squeals happily. “It should only last about three hours, and then you’ll walk him to his car and go your separate ways! Easy peasy.” With a few clicks of his mouse, Denki assigns Deku to Katsuki’s calendar, his work phone vibrating in his pocket with the confirmation.

And if Katsuki scurries off to his desk to message Deku right away to share his ring size and get some background details a fiancé would know, you can take a page out of his rulebook and mind your fucking business.

Katsuki didn’t go to his high school reunion. Outside of his second heartbreak, high school wasn’t particularly impactful; he wasn’t popular, but no one messed with him. But in the end, he’d rather not spend his time with the extras he left behind ten years ago. Besides, he still got a few stragglers out of it that he sees on the daily.

Deku, however… If the tone of his messages was anything to go by, he wasn’t so lucky. He seems more nervous than excited to reunite with his former classmates. His only requests of Katsuki was to not leave his side the entire night, along with confirmation that Katsuki was comfortable with everything Izuku was asking for. What a sweetheart.

Katsuki got some of Deku’s background, just enough to make their story solid, along with locking down their backstory: a cheesy meet-cute entailing them meeting in a coffee shop several times before Katsuki asked Deku out. They dated for two years, and Katsuki proposed at Deku’s family cabin on Christmas. They plan on tying the knot next year in the winter.

It’s nothing he hasn’t done before, so Katsuki is uncertain as to why his stomach has taken up interpretative dance as a hobby, like this is a real date with someone he’s actually interested in.

Weird.

With a final teeth check in the mirror, he flips the visor up and gets out of his car.

The wind is crisp enough to be warning that it’s going to be freezing by the end of the night. Katsuki shoves his hands in his pockets and steps onto the sidewalk, following the path hugging the perimeter of the school. And when he turns the corner, he almost trips over his own jaw with how far it’s dropped.

A few yards in front of him is someone who can be no other than Deku. A tapered waist that slopes into wide hips and the fattest ass Katsuki has ever seen in-person stacked on top of thick thighs gives him away immediately.

Katsuki picks up the pace.

“Hey, Dek—”

Katsuki doesn’t get to finish. Can’t finish. Because after his attempt to speak, Deku turns around, and the moon is suddenly a light engineer working the courtyard like a movie set. And during this cosmic event never seen before by astronomers, Deku’s glowing.

It’s clear that Deku isn’t just a hot piece of ass. He’s a beautiful piece of ass.

As soon as their eyes meet, Deku waves at him with a nervous smile, but even if he’s nervous, his smile is still big enough that his full cheeks push his glasses up his cute nose. And when Katsuki gets closer, he sees a smattering of freckles that are so, so pretty over his bare skin. Oh, and his lips are pink and glossy, his curls are thick and fluffy, his eyes are big and green, and Katsuki is not doing well.

“Bakugou?” Deku asks when Katsuki stops in front of him and all he can do is nod dumbly.

Deku fidgets, wringing his hands together before he steels himself and looks up at Katsuki through long lashes.

Fuck.

“Thank you so much for coming. You look…” Deku’s eyes trail over Katsuki from head to toe, a pink blush spreading over his cheeks, making his freckles stand out even more. “Just like your photo. Um… very handsome.”

Oh—oh no. Katsuki is going to pass out. Katsuki is going to pass out and Deku isn’t going to be able to go to his high school reunion because he’ll be too busy calling an ambulance and maybe even giving Katsuki mouth to mouth.

“Your photo—” Katsuki’s voice cracks.

They stare at each other for a moment and then Katsuki clears his throat, trying to be subtle when he wipes his sweaty palms on his pants.

“Your photo didn’t do you justice, Deku,” Katsuki tells him.

Deku’s eyebrows crease before his pouty lips form an o.

“My name is Izuku,” he corrects, his eyes shifting to the side. “I know it can be read as Deku. That’s what everyone used to call me growing up, and they weren’t so nice about it, but I’ve accepted it as something more positive. So it’s okay if you call me Deku, but just so you know, for reference or, or, if you… yeah.” He takes a breath. “It’s Izuku.”

Katsuki bites his lip to keep from doing something stupid like confessing his love right then and there. Dek— Izuku, is perfect. A cute nerdy twink, all nervous, just asking for Katsuki to shower him in affection and kisses, and if the powers that be agree, some good ol’ fashioned dick.

Whoa. Chill.

“Shit, I’m sorry,” Katsuki says, and Izuku waves his hands in front of himself as if to shoo his apology away.

“I just get a little embarrassed about it, but please don’t apologize!”

“How about this,” Katsuki starts, stepping closer until Izuku has to lean his head back in order to keep eye contact. “You come up with an embarrassing nickname for me and we’ll call it even. Until then, you can call me Katsuki.”

Izuku’s eyes are wide behind his glasses. “Katsuki?”

“We’re fiancé’s, right? Speaking of…” Katsuki lifts his left hand. “You got something for me?”

It takes a second for Izuku to register what Katsuki’s saying, and then he’s scrambling, reaching into his pocket and pulling out two rings.

“Right. Thank you again for doing this. I know it’s a lot to ask,” Izuku says, offering the ring to Katsuki. “Here’s yours… I hope it fits.”

Instead of grabbing the ring, Katsuki wiggles his fingers. “Put it on for me?”

Izuku's eyes snap back to Katsuki’s.

“Okay, yeah, that’s, yeah I can,” Izuku whispers.

He places his hand under Katsuki’s as if to steady it, but he’s trembling so much it makes Katsuki’s hand shake too. He misses the first time he tries to put it on, his cheeks turning from strawberry to apple, but on the second attempt, the band slides over his ring finger. A perfect fit.

Katsuki admires it for a moment, a simple black band with a ring of gold circling the middle. He gestures towards Izuku’s matching one. “May I?”

“Oh…” Izuku breathes. He bites his lip and then gently places the ring in Katsuki’s open palm. “If you want to.”

Katsuki smiles, lifting Izuku’s hand and pulling him forward. “I do.”

Fuckin’ smooth.

Izuku’s breaths are shaky as he watches Katsuki slowly push the band over his first knuckle, then the second, until it settles just right at the base.

“Looks good,” Katsuki whispers, lifting Izuku’s hand to his lips and kissing the ring.

Izuku is frozen in place, blinking fast. Katsuki is either making this nerd swoon or completely freaking him out, and Katsuki has, pleasepleaseplease be swooning, running on repeat in his head.

And then he smiles. Big.

Katsuki's heart does a sick kickflip in his chest.

It's at that moment, with his chest feeling warmth for the first time since—

Katsuki realizes that there is no way tonight is going to be just like the other dates. This isn’t just anything. Izuku is something special.

“Come on, gorgeous,” Katsuki says, placing Izuku’s hand on his arm and leading them towards the front doors.

Izuku tightens his grip on Katsuki's arm. “You’re really good at this.” Katsuki glances down and catches Izuku looking up at him. “I was really nervous, but you're making everything feel like it’s gonna be okay.”

“More than okay.” Katsuki's confident when he says it. Izuku deserves to have a good time, and he’ll eat up all of Izuku's nerves to make it happen. He’ll eat Izuku too if he’s down. “I got you.”

“Yeah,” Izuku whispers. “You do.”

When they reach the doors, Katsuki holds them open, and as soon as they step inside, it’s on.

“Oh my god! Is that you, Deku?”

Ah. So it is like that. Katsuki hates it when Denki’s right.

Izuku tenses immediately, and Katsuki places his hand over Izuku’s and squeezes. He catches Izuku’s eye and smiles, nodding at him before walking them to a table scattered with name tags and some bitch standing behind it.

“I could spot those glasses and mop of curls a mile away,” she laughs. “You haven’t changed… a bit!”

Katsuki is quite certain that’s not true.

“Oh, I—I guess…” Izuku mumbles.

“And who’s this?” She asks, unsubtly giving Katsuki a once over.

Katsuki hears Izuku take in a quick breath through his nose before he confidently answers, “This is my fiancé, Bakugou Katsuki.”

Hell yeah. Izuku killed that.

“Fiancé?” She looks between them both before barking out a surprised laugh.

“Gonna trade that in for husband real soon,” Katsuki says, patting Izuku’s hand, their rings clinking together. “Isn’t that right, baby?”

Izuku smiles and nods, cheeks back to sweet pink. “We’re having a winter wedding.”

Nametag bitch looks constipated. “Quite a catch you got there.”

Before Izuku can form a single syllable, Katsuki cuts in. “Tell me about it.” He pulls Izuku closer. “I knew I had to have him the second I saw him.”

Katsuki glances down and Izuku’s looking back at him, eyes wide and sparkling, his lips slightly parted.

Oh fuck, his eyes aren’t just sparkling for no reason. Those are tears. Shit, shit—

“You got nametags for us or something?” Katsuki gestures to the badges on the table and raises an eyebrow. “Or are these just for show?”

“Ah! Yes, uh…“ She starts rummaging through the pile. “I have a system—“

Katsuki taps his foot impatiently. He wants to get Izuku away from her before she notices Izuku’s lip wobbling or before any tears flood over. He hears Izuku sniffle, and Katsuki coughs loudly to cover it up.

“Is the system in the room with us? Or…?”

She pulls out a name tag with Izuku’s name on it and then another that reads guest, quickly handing them over. “Here! The reunion is in the gym. You remember the way, right, Dek—“

Katsuki’s head snaps back to her, eyes squinted in a glare. He can feel the muscles in his jaw twitch with how hard it’s clenched.

“I mean!” She shouts, panicked. “You remember the way, Izuku, right?”

Izuku nods absently as Katsuki snatches the nametags. His eyes stay on Katsuki’s steady fingers as he fastens Izuku’s badge on the left side of his button-up, making sure it’s straight before putting his own on his left as well.

This time when Katsuki grabs Izuku’s hand, their fingers lace together.

“Ready, baby?” Goddamn, his tongue must be a fucking slip ‘n slide with how easily baby rolls off his tongue.

“I’m ready,” Izuku answers, and it sounds like he really is. His eyes are back to twinkling instead of sparkling, and even though his lips are bitten red, his smile isn’t affected at all.

Denki always talks about how important it is to set goals for themselves while working. Something about how it keeps them engaged and promotes innovation, which leads to more highly rated reviews and therefore more revenue.

Katsuki doesn’t give a fuck about revenue. But he definitely has a goal of keeping Izuku smiling like he is right now for the rest of the night.

Without a second glance at nametag bitch, they walk through the double doors.

Immediately, the music hits him, some remix of a song from the year of the graduating class on full blast, the bass strong enough that he can feel the beat vibrating off the floorboards and into his shoes.

There are streamers covering the walls, several fallen to the floor, absolutely begging to be slipped on. A single balloon has been separated from its family, bobbing its way past a photo booth and into the section of the gym that has been allocated as a makeshift dance floor, where an honest to fuck disco ball twirls above it.

It’s a high school reunion alright.

“I’m not too sure what to do?” Izuku’s voice barely makes it over the music.

Katsuki looks past a table covered in snacks, to what is supposed to be a bar but is giving more long table with backless chairs. He leans down and speaks directly into Izuku’s ear. “Wanna get a drink?”

Izuku’s free hand shoots up to his ear, his eyes wide in surprise. When he turns to look at Katsuki, they’re close enough that their noses almost brush and Katsuki can feel Izuku’s breath on his lips.

“That—that sounds good!” Izuku stutters, and this time he’s the one leading them, his short legs working overtime.

They take a seat at the bar, and Izuku immediately curls in on himself, his hands shoved between his thighs, lip caught in his teeth.

Katsuki glances around and spots a few people looking their way. One couple standing by the snack table points at Izuku and whispers to her partner. A small group keeps looking over before turning back to each other only to look again a moment later. Then there’s a guy at the end of the bar who turned his chair so he’s facing Izuku dead-on, just staring like some kind of freak.

It’s instinctual when Katsuki grabs the side of Izuku’s chair and pulls him closer until their thighs are cozied up against one another, slinging his left arm around his waist and waving down the bartender with his right.

“Wha—” Izuku stutters and Katsuki leans in close.

“This alright?” From the corner of his eye, Katsuki sees the people staring at them even harder, some with wide eyes and others with a hand over their mouth like they’re covering a gasp. The drama of it all.

Izuku gives a tight nod, his posture now straight as a board.

Alright, Katsuki's gotta do something before Izuku gives himself a heart attack. He thinks through Izuku’s profile and the messages they sent back and forth, searching for something that can distract him from all the eyes watching.

“Comics,” Katsuki blurts out.

Izuku turns towards him, just a bit. “…Comics?”

“Yeah, you read them, right? What’s your favorite?”

Izuku stares down at his lap. “You don’t have to do that…”

“Big fan of All Might, myself. I'm a Golden Age purist, but I—“

“All Might?!” Izuku shouts, now fully facing Katsuki. “You read All Might comics?” Izuku’s fingers grab onto Katsuki’s sleeve, and he gives a gentle tug.

Bingo.

“Hell yeah I do.” Katsuki grins. Izuku’s sudden excitement is palpable.

“All Might is my favorite!” Izuku wiggles in his seat, and it’s cute. “Are you caught up? I have the monthly subscription and I have been dying to talk to someone about the latest issue!”

Ah shit, now Katsuki’s excited because he never gets to talk about All Might. He stopped bringing it up with the squad because they had nothing to offer when Katsuki would talk about the latest plot twists and villain takedowns.

“It was crazy, right? The way he took down that sludge villain and saved those kids? He didn’t hesitate for a second. Just got in there and kicked his ass all—”

Plus Ultra!”

They say it at the same time.

Izuku smiles and it takes up most of his face, his eyes almost squeezed shut from his cheeks.

Katsuki’s breath catches in his throat. Happiness looks really good on Izuku. It’s definitely always supposed to be there.

“I re-read it at least twenty times. It was just so powerful! The cliffhanger got me though. I need the next issue right now,” Izuku keeps going. He’s practically vibrating in his seat.

“Are you on the fan boards?” Katsuki asks. “I’m not as active as I used to be because sometimes the theories people post are just so fucking stupid.”

“Same! I have an online group where we share theories and analyze the issues together. It sounds kind of lame… but it’s so much better than the boards!”

Katsuki shakes his head. “It’s not lame at all. None of my friends read comics, so I never have anyone to talk to about them. I think it's cool you got a group for it.”

“It’s cool?” Izuku whispers.

Katsuki squeezes the grip he has on Izuku’s waist. “Really cool.”

Izuku bites his lip, and then a soft giggle reaches Katsuki’s ear, buoyant and sweet.

“What’re you drinking?” The bartender slides up to them and places two coasters on the table. And hats off to her for really selling the bar fantasy with what she has to work with.

“Oh, um,” Izuku mumbles, blinking up at Katsuki.

“You drink beer?” Katsuki asks, and Izuku nods, turning back to the bartender.

“Two beers please!” he says without hesitation.

Izuku’s definitely more relaxed. He continues talking about theories about what to expect for the next issue, and Katsuki nods along. He’s listening, but not at one hundred percent. How could he when Izuku’s eyes get wide when he brings up something he thinks is surprising, or when he still has one hand clutching Katsuki’s sleeve, or how his lips pout over the top of the beer bottle when he takes a sip?

Izuku is enchanting. If it wasn’t clear to Katsuki when he first saw him outside, or when they were at the check-in table, or right now when Izuku is sharing all of this thoughts like it’s the easiest thing in the world, it would be clear from the way Katsuki’s ribs feel like they’re splintering as if there isn’t enough room for the way his heart is growing with every beat.

“—atsuki?”

Katsuki’s focus snaps back and Izuku’s looking at him with his head tilted to the side.

“You’re staring…” Izuku glances down and then peeks up at Katsuki through his lashes. “Do I have something on my face?”

“No, no. It’s just you’re—” Katsuki wets his lips. “You’re really cute.”

Izuku’s curls bounce as he shakes his head. “You’re just saying that because you’re, you know.” Izuku waves his hand in Katsuki’s direction, looking away.

“You’re right,” Katsuki sighs. “I’m censoring myself. Trying to be appropriate.”

Izuku’s eyebrows furrow in confusion. “Censoring?” Izuku asks.

Katsuki hums, resting his chin on his hand, his eyes trailing over Izuku’s frame, spending an extra second on his thick thighs before landing back on his face. “Let’s just say I feel like I really lucked out with you.”

Izuku chokes on a laugh and shakes his head. “I’m the one who lucked out.”

“Nah,” Katsuki says, grabbing Izuku's hand in his. “And I’ll fight you on it.”

Izuku bites his lip in an attempt to contain a smile pulling at his cheeks. “Plus Ultra style?”

“Couldn’t do it any other way.”

Izuku laughs, and Katsuki can’t remember the last time he smiled so much. His cheeks fucking hurt.

Their conversation flows as they move to every topic under the sun. He learns about Izuku’s family, how it’s just him and his mom but has a lot of extended family that gets together for holidays at the cabin that’s part of their backstory. And then he drops that his favorite color is red, kind of like your eyes, which is some soulmate level shit if Katsuki’s ever heard it.

Their back and forth is interrupted by a burst of laughter from the group of people that Katsuki’s been side-eyeing since they sat down. One of them breaks off from the group and starts strutting straight towards them.

“Deku!” they shout, so shrill that Katsuki cringes. Izuku’s eyes go wide just from hearing their voice.

“I’m right here,” Katsuki whispers, tucking a stray curl behind Izuku’s ear. Izuku nods shakily as he turns around.

“Riku,” Izuku says, only with a slight tremble in his voice.

“You didn’t come and say hi.” Riku pouts, placing his hands on his hips.

“With a voice like that, I can see why,” Katsuki mumbles under his breath. Izuku covers his mouth with his hand trying to cover up a giggle.

Riku’s smile shifts. “And who are you? How do you know our little Deku?”

Katsuki scoffs. “Your Deku?” He pulls Izuku tighter to his side.

“This is my fiancé, Bakugou Katsuki,” Izuku says proudly.

“Fiancé? Are you joking?” Riku asks incredulously.

Oh. bitch.

“Did he fuckin’ stutter?” Katsuki snaps.

Riku jumps, running his fingers through his hair, and then grins. “Actually, it’s probably the first time I haven’t heard him stutter. He was always such a nervous dork.”

Katsuki reels back. Was that supposed to be a burn?

Katsuki ignores him and turns to Izuku. “Is this a fucking joke? Nervous dork—” he turns back to face Riku. “What are you? A fuckin’ kids show villan?” A chuckle bubbles out of his throat. “That was weak as hell.”

“Excuse me—”

Izuku buries his head in Katsuki’s shoulder and bursts out into laughter.

“I’ve said shit that would obliterate someone’s mental wellbeing in my sleep. And you come in with that?” Katsuki gestures halfheartedly at him. “What was your plan? Thought you were gonna make him cry or something?”

“I just—he—I mean—”

“Ah-ah-ah, now who's the nervous dork.” Katsuki mocks. “It’s been ten years you fucking banshee. Grow the fuck up.”

Izuku pulls himself out of Katsuki’s shoulder with another giggle. “You know, I hated you in high school. Everyone did.” Riku’s cheeks burst into flames. “They put up with you because you were the only one on campus with a car and you would take people to the mall.”

“That’s not true.”

“But it is!” Izuku shouts happily. “I might have been a loser back then, but so were you.” Izuku looks at him and smirks before locking eyes with Katsuki. “Still is.”

Katsuki grins. “Can’t relate, huh?”

“You’re the loser, Deku,” Riku spits.

“Hey!” Katsuki shouts, and Riku’s mouth snaps shut. Several people turn to stare mid conversation. “It’s not, Deku,” he says, his voice high pitched and mocking. He places his palm on Izuku’s cheek, his eyes softening. “It’s Deku.”

A noise catches in Izuku’s throat, and for a moment Katsuki thinks he’s fucked up. He was trying to—oh fuck, uh, just make it so Deku didn’t sound like some kind of curse or something. But then Izuku’s face relaxes, the tension in his brow releases.

He places his hand over Katsuki’s and leans into his palm. “It doesn’t sound like a bad thing when you say it,” Izuku breathes.

That feeling in Katsuki’s ribs is becoming critical.

“It’s not bad,” Katsuki tells him, the urge to kiss him slamming into him like a truck. “Just a bunch of losers trying to tear you down to make themselves feel like they're worth something.”

“Yeah,” Izuku whispers. Then louder, “Losers.”

Katsuki grins at him, lacing their fingers together again. He looks at Riku, face pinched in disgust. “Why the fuck are you still here? Piss off.”

Riku turns on his heel and stomps away with a huff, his group of friends following after him as they try to cover up their laughter.

Katsuki turns them both back to the table, handing Izuku his beer and then grabbing his own. “Fuck yeah,” he says, clinking them together.

Izuku takes several long pulls from his beer before slamming it down.

“That was fucking awesome.”

Katsuki throws his head back and laughs. “Feelin’ good?”

“The best,” Izuku says, gripping Katsuki’s hand. “You’re the best.”

Katsuki preens for a moment. Yeah, Katsuki’s pretty cool. The best, just like Izuku said, so it’s totally true.

The line of tension that had Izuku’s body in a chokehold has drifted away, turning him into a bucket of smiles and soft giggles. Katsuki’s arm feels at home around Izuku’s waist, tugging him closer even though there isn’t any closer to get. But there's something about how Izuku just melts into his side like he’s supposed to be there that makes Katsuki feel like he can’t let go.

It’s all probably too much for something that is just tonight, but… the way Izuku keeps looking at him and holding his hand—it’s putting Katsuki in a dangerous headspace that feels so good it’s hard to fathom why he should put a stop to any of it.

So he doesn’t.

Katsuki looks over Izuku’s curls and sees the photo booth. A happy couple steps out with their photos in hand, one of them leaning their head on the other's shoulder as they look at the strip.

“Hey,” Katsuki breaks the silence, nodding towards the photo booth. “You wanna?”

Izuku follows Katsuki’s line of sight and tilts his head to the side. “You want to?”

“Yeah, c’mon.” Katsuki stands, pulling Izuku off his chair and guiding him towards the booth, their hands still clasped tightly. “Don’t want you forgetting about me after tonight.”

Izuku squeezes his hand, his whisper just loud enough to hear over the music.

“I don’t think that’s possible.”

Katsuki pulls the curtain aside and ushers Izuku in, the noise of the reunion fading away as they squeeze themselves inside. Their knees knock together as Izuku leans forward and taps the screen, their faces showing up in front of them in terrible lighting.

Izuku leans back, having to tilt himself to the side in order to look Katsuki in the eye, and Katsuki does the same, their clasped hands resting on his thigh so naturally as if they’ve been doing this for years instead of hours.

“You got any ideas for the first one?”

Flash!

They both look at the screen in surprise, an image of them looking at each other holding hands appearing before spinning away and landing in the right upper hand corner.

“Oh shit—”

Flash!

“Jesus, okay, uhh…” Katsuki looks at the camera with his eyes crossed, throwing a peace sign. He hears Izuku chuckle and then he throws his own peace sign and puffs out his cheeks, leaning in closer so they both fit in the frame.

Flash!

“Fix your tie,” Izuku says, separating their hands so he can pretend to adjust cuff links he’s not wearing.

Clearly short on time, Katsuki does so immediately, clenching his fist a couple times to adjust to the sudden ache of his empty palm before gripping the knot of his tie.

They give each other the side eye while they pose, Izuku’s lips pursed in an attempt not to laugh when Katsuki wiggles his eyebrows.

Flash!

Izuku breaks out into laughter as soon as the photo flashes on the screen and then spins away to join the others.

Flash!

Katsuki’s head snaps towards the screen. “This thing is inconsistent as fuck.”

Flash!

A photo of Katsuki glaring into the camera shows up on the screen and spins away.

Katsuki.” Izuku wheezes, one hand clutching his stomach, the other grabbing onto Katsuki’s leg, and somehow he can feel it in his chest when Izuku’s fingers squeeze his knee.

One more photo!

Katsuki places his hand on top of Izuku’s, slips his long fingers in between Izuku’s shorter ones, and feels them curl until they are tucked under his palm. They turn back to each other, and Izuku is all red-cheeked and happy, his glasses slightly askew as blinks up at Katsuki, a couple of giggles still escaping him.

“We got one more,” Katsuki says, reaching over and readjusting the stem of Izuku’s glasses behind his ear. “I’d ask what you would want to do for it, but I don’t think we’ll have much of a choice.”

While they are already touching from shoulder to ankle, Katsuki still finds room to lean forward, and Izuku follows until Katsuki feels it more than hears it when Izuku whispers, “This is kind of nice.”

It’s tentative when he does it, Izuku’s fingers wrapping around Katsuki’s wrist. His smile fades to something more gentle, centering into its natural pout with the corners slightly peaked. Katsuki’s pretty sure if he were to look into the camera he’d see himself gaping like a fish, so instead, his eyes flick to Izuku’s lips, heart shaped and glistening before they cut back up to his eyes.

His voice comes out softly, as if to match the tone Izuku has set, “Yeah.” It feels just as dry as it sounds when he says it, his voice catching at the end. He swallows, trailing his fingertips down the angle of Izuku’s jaw, his thumb a gentle sweep on his cheek. “I like it—”

Flash!

The sound of the bulb flashing this time is louder than all the others, both of them jerking back, blinking hard as the booth whirs and whines until two photo strips get spit out at the bottom.

With dark spots taking over his vision, Katsuki blindly reaches for the photos, narrowly missing bonking his head on the screen before he snatches them up.

“Let’s get outta this fuckin’ death trap,” he says, tugging Izuku out of the booth.

They both stumble out from behind the curtain, squeezing their eyes closed when the light change sends another assault on their retinas.

“I literally can’t see,” he hears Izuku say through a laugh, and then Katsuki feels him bump into his chest. “Oh, sorry—”

Katsuki wraps his arm around Izuku's shoulders, still blind, and pulls him close. “Let’s stay like this for a sec,” Katsuki says. He can feel Izuku stiffen before giving a slight nod. “Just until, you know, we can see again or whatever…” he trails off into a whisper.

Izuku’s free hand clutches onto Katsuki’s waist, having slipped under his blazer so Katsuki feels the heat of his palm bleed through the fabric of his shirt.

Katsuki tilts his head back towards the ceiling and exhales a breath he didn’t realize he was holding. The sound of his heart beating is strong in his ears. Izuku must be able to hear it too with how tilts his head and rests his cheek right over it. It’s like he can feel the chambers of his heart open and close, the blood pumping almost aggressively through his veins, the push against his sternum with every beat.

He blinks a few more times until most of the dark blobs are pushed out of the sides of his vision, the balloons that litter the ceiling coming into focus. He tilts his chin down, inhaling sharply when he meets Izuku’s eyes already looking back at him.

Izuku’s lips flutter for a moment, his long lashes casting shadows over his cheeks as he blinks.

“Better?” Izuku asks, and honestly the answer is no because Katsuki’s vision is starting to blur again and he’s pretty sure the rest of his bodily facilities are going to follow into early on-set deterioration.

“Yeah,” Katsuki lies.

Izuku smiles softly at him before taking a step back and putting some distance between them. Not a lot, but enough to where Katsuki still feels like he’s losing something he’d rather have.

“Oh look!” Izuku grabs one of the photo strips and brings it close to his face. “They came out so good!”

Katsuki tears his eyes away from Izuku and looks at the leftover strip. They came out really good. He saw the first photo on the screen, but it’s even better printed out: both of them looking at each other with smiles on their faces, their clasped hands a focal point with how they rest against the black background of their slacks.

The corners of Katsuki’s mouth twitch into a smile at their surprised faces in the second photo, their silly poses for the third and fourth. Izuku’s head is thrown back in the next one, laughing so hard that Katsuki can almost hear his giggles coming off the strip. Only Katsuki’s profile is visible in that one, staring at Izuku as he laughs, a relaxed grin on his lips.

“Oh my god, your face,” Izuku says, pointing at the photo underneath, Katsuki’s face pinched in a glare staring straight into the screen. But he spots Izuku in the top right corner of the frame, this time he’s looking at Katsuki, and the rest of the photo doesn’t matter.

The last photo—Katsuki can feel the smile slide off of his face. He knows Izuku is looking at it too, the way he goes silent, stills except for how he clutches Katsuki’s hand in his own and doesn’t let it release.

The last shot on the strip shows the both of them staring into each other's eyes, Katsuki peering down and Izuku looking up, the tilt of their heads has their noses almost touching. Izuku’s lips are slightly parted, Katsuki’s brow relaxed. Katsuki’s hand is a gentle hold on Izuku’s jaw like he can’t believe he’s allowed to touch, Izuku’s hand grips Katsuki’s wrist like he doesn’t want him to let go.

“Oh,” Izuku whispers, the sound fluttering past his lips in a shaky breath.

Katsuki can barely recognize that it’s him in that last photo. He can’t remember ever feeling something that would make his face look like that, like he—like he would—like he’s—

Katsuki rolls his lips together and takes a deep breath through his nose. He needs to chill out. His little ball of like is gaining mass too quickly, being pushed up towards a precipice that it could so easily tip over, into something—

Too fast.

“Are they okay?” Izuku asks. He’s looking up at Katsuki like he’s afraid of his answer, and Katsuki just can’t have that.

“They’re perfect,” Katsuki reassures him. He smiles down at Izuku, and he sends one back up.

Izuku points to the third photo, the first of their silly poses. “This one is my favorite.”

“That one's good,” Katsuki says. His throat clicks around a swallow.

He readies himself to point out any of the photos as his favorite, all but the last one. Surely it would be too much to say that his choice is the one where it looks like they’re swimming in each other's eyes. Especially since once this night is over and they part ways, when Katsuki has to take off his ring and watch Izuku do the same, that’ll be it for them. He’ll wave as Izuku drives away because he got what he paid for. Izuku probably won’t even keep the photos past coming across the first trash bin he finds.

That would be too much of Katsuki. Borderline unprofessional even.

He points at the last photo. “This one is mine.”

Izuku’s head slowly turns until he’s facing Katsuki, his eyebrows ever so slightly furrowed, his eyes flicking between Katsuki’s before settling back onto the photo he’s pointing at. Shit, he made a mistake—

Izuku leans his head on Katsuki’s shoulder, his left ear peeking out from his curls, the tip flushed pink.

“Would it sound like I’m copying you if I changed my answer and said that’s my favorite too?”

A sharp burst of pain blooms on Katsuki’s bottom lip from where he’s biting down on it, trying to keep a princess worthy gasp from escaping his throat.

“Not at all,” Katsuki croaks.

The music shifts from heavy bass to a melodic swoon, the bodies on the dance floor moving with it as they clasp hands and pull each other close. Katsuki tucks his copy of the photos into his coat pocket and then starts to guide Izuku to the dance floor.

“Oh no, no, no, Katsuki, I can’t dance!” Izuku says frantically.

“All you gotta do is follow my lead. Promise.” Katsuki pulls on his arms, causing Izuku to fall into his chest, and then guides his hands until they rest on his shoulders.

Izuku huffs, but he’s smiling, so Katsuki wraps his arms around his waist, guiding them into a simple sway on the dance floor. It doesn’t take long for Izuku to relax, falling into Katsuki’s hold and resting his head on his chest, his soft curls tickling Katsuki’s chin.

He feels Izuku take a deep breath. “I wasn’t expecting to have fun tonight, you know?” Izuku whispers.

“But you are?” Katsuki asks. He squeezes Izuku’s waist as he nods.

“Yes.” Izuku’s hands slide along Katsuki’s shoulders before locking together behind his neck. “I almost don’t want it to end.”

He says it so quietly Katsuki almost doesn’t catch it, like Izuku didn’t want him to hear it but couldn’t keep himself from saying it. Katsuki glances down and sees Izuku with his eyes closed, his lip caught between his teeth, and before Katsuki can stop himself, he’s tugging his lip free with his thumb and turning his head so Izuku’s looking back at him.

“The night’s not over yet,” Katsuki tells him. “I still get to have you for a while longer, right?”

The lights reflect off the disco ball and flash over Izuku’s face, his eyes turning blue to pink before going back to emerald. Katsuki gets lost in them for a moment, his thumb still tracing Izuku’s lip, soft and plump.

“You really are beautiful,” Katsuki whispers.

Izuku’s eyes turn soft, his lip trembling under Katsuki’s thumb.

“So are you.”

Katsuki forgets for a moment. Forgets that this is a job and that Izuku just needed a companion for an event he didn’t want to go to alone. Forgets about all his trepidations about thinking with his heart, about feeling. Forgets all the likes and loves that didn’t work out right along with any reason he shouldn’t be leaning forward and pressing his lips against Izuku’s.

Izuku lets out a soft gasp as their mouths meet. He leans all of his weight onto Katsuki, like his legs can’t keep him upright anymore, and Katsuki can handle that, wrapping his arms tight around his waist and pulling him closer.

It’s soft and sweet the way their lips move against each other. Katsuki pulls back just enough to tilt his head a little more before they reconnect, and this time they’re even closer. He feels Izuku’s hands trail to the back of his head and tangle his fingers in his hair, gently pulling at the strands before pushing their heads together until their noses brush each other's cheeks.

Izuku pulls back with a gasp, his eyes wide and lips pink. His tongue peeks out and traces the inside of his bottom lip as he stares at Katsuki, his hands still gripping onto him as if he’s worried Katsuki will float away.

Katsuki kisses him again. A small peck and then another before he rests their foreheads together, his eyes fluttering shut.

“Is it okay?” he asks quietly.

Izuku's shuddery breath fans over Katsuki's chin. “Yes,” he answers, and Katsuki’s shoulders relax. “Is it… okay?”

They’ve stopped moving, standing still at the corner of the dance floor as other alums turn and spin around them. Katsuki doesn’t even register that anyone exists outside of Izuku and him in that moment, not in this room or outside of it.

“I want it. And if you do too—“

“I do,” Izuku breathes out and pushes up onto his toes, sealing their mouths together again.

Katsuki groans, one hand moving to cup the side of Izuku’s face, his long fingers disappearing into Izuku’s curls and his thumb placed gently at the corner of his eye. Izuku’s blush is hot under his touch, and he whines when Katsuki traces the curve of his cheekbone, pushing his chest against Katsuki’s like he can’t get close enough.

Izuku’s lips part, and his tongue runs across Katsuki’s bottom lip. Katsuki meets him there, the tips of their tongues brush against each other until Izuku slips his inside. Katsuki sucks soft on his tongue before sliding his alongside Izuku’s, their lips smacking together in a kiss that will go down as the best that Katsuki’s ever had. And not just because Izuku’s lips are soft and his tongue wet, or because Izuku gently drags his nails down his scalp when Katsuki bites his lip. Undoubtedly, Katsuki knows it’s the best because it’s Izuku.

His heart clenches in his chest, but he ignores it. He can have this. Izuku said he wants it, and Katsuki does too, he really, really wants this, even if it’s just for a night or a minute or a second. He’ll shake off the residual heartache later, right now—

“Want you,” he mumbles between kisses, separating enough to say it before kissing him again.

Izuku moans into his mouth. He presses his hips forward, and Katsuki feels a small bulge pressing against his thigh.

Katsuki presses his thigh forward against Izuku’s crotch and he jolts, eyes springing open as he pulls back with a gasp, his lips kiss swollen and glistening.

“Oh my god, I didn’t—“

Katsuki hushes him with another kiss and flexes his thigh, swallowing the breath it pushes out of him.

“Do you want this too?” Katsuki whispers against his lips. Izuku looks up at him, searching his eyes like he’ll find anything but Katsuki ready to drop to his knees. “Say the word—just say the word and I’ll take care of you.”

Izuku’s chest heaves as he stares at Katsuki, his hands trembling where they rest on his neck. Katsuki fists his hands in Izuku’s shirt, needing something to ground him as he waits for Izuku to answer. And then finally, Izuku’s shoulders sag as he looks at Katsuki with something in his eyes that makes Katsuki’s heart skip a beat.

“Please.”

The way he asks for it is so much sweeter than it needs to be. Much sweeter than the way Katsuki grabs his hand and pulls him to a set of doors that lead them into a hallway of classrooms before pushing him up against a wall and kissing him again.

Away from everyone else, Katsuki lets himself touch, grabbing onto Izuku’s hips and pulling them together until Izuku can feel just how worked up Katsuki is too. Their cocks brush against each other and Izuku’s head falls back in a gasp. His hands clutch onto Katsuki’s arms and squeeze his biceps as Katsuki’s lips slide off his and kiss a trail down his jaw. He sucks on the hinge of his jaw right by his ear and Izuku whines.

“Katsuki! Oh, please, please,” Izuku begs. He drags his nails down Katsuki’s arms before grabbing the back of his head and pushing him into his neck.

“Yeah, baby?” Katsuki murmurs against Izuku’s throat, sucking another mark right in the middle. “You want more?”

Izuku lifts his leg and wraps it around Katsuki’s hip, thrusting his hips so their cocks rub together through their slacks.

“I want anything you’ll give me. I just want it—I want you.”

Katsuki grabs Izuku’s ass with both of his hands and squeezes before sliding them to the back of his thighs and lifting him up. Izuku is quick to wrap his legs around his waist as Katsuki pulls away from the wall and starts walking them down the hall.

“Where am I goin’, gorgeous?” Katsuki asks. He hooks his chin over Izuku’s shoulder as he walks, passing dark classrooms.

Izuku bites his lip as he looks behind himself before he straightens up and points at the end of the hall.

“Nurse!” He looks back at Katsuki with a smile and pats his shoulders. “The nurse’s office is always open.”

“Baby’s so smart,” Katsuki says through a grin. He walks faster until they’re crashing through the door to the nurse’s office, Katsuki taking one hand off Izuku’s thigh to flick the lock. He leaves the overhead light off and walks straight to the nurse’s desk, setting Izuku down before flipping the switch of the table lamp resting at the edge.

A soft yellow light fills the space, some shadows chased into corners while others stretch up the walls and across the floor. Katsuki glances around the room, taking stock of the beds lined in a row to the right and the two chairs against the wall to their left flanking a floor length mirror with an old eye exam test hanging right above it. And it’s kind of messed up that they’re planning on fucking here, but then Katsuki sees a bottle of hand lotion on the desk and takes it as a sign from the stars that they’re supposed to.

Katsuki fiddles with the last button on Izuku’s shirt. “You still with me?” he asks, brushing his lips against Izuku’s jaw.

Izuku’s fingers latch onto Katsuki’s belt, tapping against the buckle, ready to thread the tail through the prongs. “I am if you are.”

There’s a second of pause and then they are both a flurry of movement. Katsuki gets Izuku’s shirt unbuttoned and flings it open, hands landing on the wide curve of his hips and dragging them up over his ribs. Izuku’s body is soft, and when he squeezes his chest, there is a give that makes Katsuki want to get his teeth on him.

Izuku gets Katsuki’s pants open and a hand on his cock at the same time Katsuki thumbs at his nipples, both letting out a moan as their lips meet in the middle, Katsuki licking into Izuku’s mouth and swallowing all of his noises.

Katsuki growls when Izuku drags his hand over the length of his cock, his thumb playing at the tip, spreading around precome. He pulls back and looks down at his hand, unable to wrap around the girth of Katsuki’s cock, and lets out a choked noise.

“Katsuki,” he mumbles, tilting his head to the side so Katsuki has room to kiss behind his ear.

“What is it, baby?”

“You’re really fucking big.”

Katsuki’s eyes flick down to Izuku’s hand on his cock and then back up at Izuku’s concerned expression.

“I don’t think we have the time and resources required to get this in me,” Izuku rushes out, giving his length a squeeze.

Katsuki leans back and places his hands on Izuku’s thighs. “This is kind of awkward,” he says around a chuckle. “I was working off the assumption that you were going to top.”

They stare at each other for a moment, silent until Katsuki can’t hold back his grin and Izuku snorts out a laugh, his head falling forward onto Katsuki’s chest as his shoulders shake with laughter.

“I’m a useless top,” Izuku says, muffled. He tilts his head back. “I come in like two minutes.”

Izuku gasps when Katsuki cups his cock through his slacks and squeezes. Katsuki’s breath hitches in his throat when he feels him, barely filling up his palm.

“That’s okay. I got other plans for us tonight,” Katsuki whispers against his lips. He makes quick work of Izuku’s belt and pushes down his pants and boxers just enough to confirm what he felt.

Izuku’s small

“Oh,” he whispers shakily. He wraps his fingers around Izuku’s cock, watches as it disappears in his hand, the head not even peeking out at the top. He looks back at Izuku, licking his lips to catch any drool that might be trying to escape from the reveal of a lifetime. “So, you’re fucking perfect, huh?”

Izuku’s eyes go wide, his hips twitching up in Katsuki’s grip. His blush is still going strong, but now Katsuki sees that it’s not just his face, but his chest goes pink too.

“You like it?” he asks, breathless as Katsuki noses under his jaw, leaving kisses up to his lips.

“Perfect,” he says again. He starts to move his hand on Izuku’s cock, barely going up before having to go back down lest he lose his grip. “Wanna get my mouth on you,” he mutters while biting Izuku’s lip. “Bet you’d fit just right on my tongue. A sweet little mouthful, yeah?”

“Oh, fuck,” Izuku gasps, pulling Katsuki’s head closer and kissing him again.

Katsuki kisses back, not wasting a moment before getting his tongue back inside Izuku’s mouth, groaning when Izuku starts to move his hand again. Izuku lets out these breathy moans that absolutely destroy Katsuki’s wellbeing, his head going empty except for one thing.

He is going to make this pretty boy come. Twice at minimum.

Katsuki releases Izuku’s lips and falls to his knees. His hands go right back to his hips and pull him to the edge of the desk until he’s nose to cute dick.

Izuku’s hands are clasped on the edge of the wood on either side of his thighs, gripping tight, but Katsuki can still see a slight tremble ripple through his arms as he leans forward to lick at the tip of his cock. Katsuki’s eyes flutter closed for a moment before he forces them open again, desperate to see how Izuku looks when he feels good.

And Izuku gives it to him. His mouth parts in a gasp as Katsuki sucks on the head of his cock, his hips twitching up as Katsuki swirls his tongue and laps up the steady stream of precome leaking from the slit. It's an easy glide down, only a few inches before his cock lies over the length of his tongue.

“Feels—it feels good,” Izuku chokes out.

Katsuki has always been a sucker for praise, and Izuku’s words make him groan, the vibrations hitting Izuku and making him thrust into Katsuki’s mouth again, his cock rubbing over the flat of his tongue.

Katsuki doesn’t even need to bob his head, he's able to just suck and curl his tongue around the sides and it has Izuku crying out. Just like he thought, Izuku really is a sweet little mouthful. The perfect weight, the perfect length, the perfect taste—he couldn’t ask for a better dick in his mouth.

He sticks his tongue out further, traces the tip over Izuku’s sac and thinks he could probably stuff it in his mouth at the same time as his cock. Just the thought has Katsuki scrambling to get a hand on his own cock, stroking himself as Izuku's high pitch whines and moans reach his ears. He throws his head back at a particularly harsh suck, the tendons in his neck visible as he tries to hold back from fucking himself into Katsuki’s mouth.

Which really isn’t necessary.

Katsuki tugs on Izuku’s hip and his head flops forward. His eyes are already glazed over, and Katsuki feels himself throb in his hand. He opens his mouth, shows Izuku how his tongue curls around the sides of his cock, and tugs him forward again with a raised eyebrow.

“Oh…” Izuku whispers. He pulls his hips back before pushing forward, watching his cock rub against Katsuki’s tongue, biting his lip. His hands land behind himself, and then he starts to work his hips, his ass sliding back and forth over the desk as he keeps his eyes on Katsuki’s tongue.

Katsuki’s mouth fills with saliva, feels it flood over his lips and chin, making it even more slick for Izuku to rut against.

It all feels so damn perfect. Being on his knees, looking up at this absolute angel fucking his cock in his mouth. Katsuki tightens his lips and sucks again, slurping around him and moving with him, bending his neck forward each time Izuku pulls back, chasing after him to keep him inside.

“You’re so good, Katsuki. So good letting me use you like this.” Izuku barely finishes saying it before Katsuki groans loud, his eyes rolling back and then he’s sucking harder, bobbing his head until his nose is meeting Izuku’s pelvis every time his cock slots back inside. “Took such good care of me tonight. Taking such good care of me now, yessss, like that.”

Katsuki's hips thrust up into his own hand, his cock hot and hard in his fist. He squeezes the base to keep himself from coming when he feels a hand tangle in his hair, holding him still as Izuku takes what he needs. His hips work in a burst of quick, short thrusts that start to slow down all too soon.

A frustrated whine leaves his lips. “I can’t… I—help me, please… Oh, fuck—”

Katsuki releases his hold just long enough to throw Izuku’s legs over his shoulders, then he’s gripping him again, dragging him back and forth over the desk by his hips. Izuku’s thighs squeeze around his head, ankles crossed behind his back and digging into his shoulder blades.

“You’re gonna make me come—hhnnnff, fuck,” Izuku pants, and it has Katsuki moaning, squeezing the grip he has on his hip. “You want that? Want me to come in your mouth?”

Katsuki mmhmms around his cock, and Izuku whispers a curse, tugging on Katsuki’s hair and pulling him off his cock.

“Show me where you want it.” His demand is a breathless whisper, and Katsuki’s jaw drops immediately, eyes locked on Izuku’s fingers moving over his cock, pointed straight for Katsuki's mouth.

Katsuki sticks out his tongue and pushes it against the head of Izuku’s cock, flicking against the tip and pressing against the slit, and then Izuku’s hips stutter, stripes of come landing on his tongue.

“Ah! Ah—oh fuck, Katsuki!”

Seeing Izuku come is easily one of the top five best experiences of Katsuki’s life. The way his jaw drops open and his eyebrows pinch together like he can’t believe just how good Katsuki’s making him feel, the way his hips shudder with every burst of come that shoots out of him and lands on Katsuki’s lips.

He tugs his cock one last time, squeezing the head, and Katsuki watches rapt as another bead of come is pulled from him. He shoots forward and licks it up before it has a chance to fall.

Frantic hands grab Katsuki’s head and pull him up, Izuku’s lips crashing onto his, sweet words of praise muttered in between little pecks. Their tongues press flat against each other, pushing Izuku’s come back and forth until they have swallowed it all.

“Where’d you learn to talk like that?” Katsuki pants out.

Izuku chases his lips when Katsuki tries to pull away. “What do you mean?” he asks between kisses.

Katsuki spots a stray drop of come on the corner of his mouth and immediately licks it up, kissing the spot once it’s clean.

“Like,” Katsuki waves a hand, gesturing wildly between them, “like that.

He moves up to Izuku’s cheek and stays there with his lips smooshed against the plush as he tries to catch his breath. Izuku’s fingers lazily run through Katsuki’s hair, nails gently scratching at his scalp.

Katsuki's head lifts with Izuku’s shoulders as he shrugs. “It was just the truth.” Izuku nuzzles against Katsuki’s jaw, letting out a satisfied sigh. “You’re so good at—at everything. I wanted to tell you.”

Katsuki leans back and just—just looks at him. With his big eyes half lidded and his lips swollen with Katsuki’s kisses, curls plastered to his forehead with sweat, his skin pink and tacky. And when he looks harder, he can see his eyes crinkled at the corners like he’s trying to keep his eyes open past a smile.

Oh, and his smile. He’s smiling as he holds Katsuki’s face in his soft hands, looking back at him like Katsuki’s something deserving.

It hits him hard: in the gut, his heart, his cock. Unfathomable to him how someone so sexy can be sweet enough for Katsuki to taste the sugar on his tongue.

“Come here,” Izuku murmurs, wrapping his hands around Katsuki’s cock, one on top of the other. “How do you want to come? Like this? Do you want my mouth? I’ll give you anything you want.”

Katsuki’s eyes cross for a moment when Izuku squeezes his hands on the way up his cock, before cutting straight to the lotion, placed temptingly on the edge of the desk.

“I have something in mind,” he mumbles into Izuku’s neck.

All of this has escalated so fast, and he’s smitten, so goddamn smitten that he’s not sure if his heart can handle cranking up the momentum they’ve built even more.

But like, at the same time. There’s his hand on the lever. Crank, crank.

Izuku drags his lips lazily up Katsuki’s jaw, bumping their noses together when Katsuki goes quiet. “Anything. Tell me.”

“Just—” he digs his thumbs into the plush of Izuku’s thighs and feels them sink in. “Fuck, I’ve been thinking about these since I laid eyes on you.”

He can feel Izuku’s grin against his cheek and then against his lips when Izuku plants another kiss on him. “You want to fuck my thighs?”

Katsuki’s lips are sore from the blowjob, the kissing, and all the biting. They could be bleeding for all he knows. But his teeth clamp down anyway, trying and failing to keep the whine working its way up his throat from escaping.

Izuku kisses him on the cheek and whispers in his ear, “You want to shove this fat cock between my legs? Have me be all tight and soft for you? Keep you warm?” Katsuki groans and nods, eyes desperate as filth skips like a pebble over the surface of water that is his ears. And while it may just be Izuku’s soft pink tongue instead of a stone, it leaves Katsuki rippling regardless.

Izuku’s eyes go soft, tilting his head to the side like Katsuki’s a dumb dog waiting for permission, which he absolutely is. So, so dumb and pathetic for whatever Izuku would throw at him so he can go fetch.

He pats Katsuki’s cheek. “You can have them.”

It feels so easy to wrap his arms around Izuku’s waist and lift him up. It's easy the way Izuku giggles as he’s carried over to the mirror. And when he spins Izuku around and bends him forward, their eyes meeting in the reflection so natural and calm and trusting—it’s like this is old hat. As if this is just another night between the two of them stacked on top of a before they’ve never had and trailing behind an after that’ll never come.

It’s odd… or maybe it isn’t—people have one night stands all the time. But this isn’t about people, nor is it something that happens all the time. This is something Izuku and Katsuki and it deserves to be called something more. Because this—this is more.

It is. It is. If it hurts while feeling this good at the same time, it just has to be.

Izuku stays where Katsuki puts him, so good, with his hands flat against the mirror while Katsuki lowers his pants, snatching up the lotion as soon as they hit the floor.

“Spread your legs for me, baby,” he whispers in Izuku’s ear, and he does, no hesitation, walking his legs apart as far as they’ll go with his pants stuck at his ankles.

Katsuki squeezes the lotion into the palm of his hand and slicks up the inside of Izuku’s thighs. He has to grit his teeth when he feels how soft Izuku is. His flesh gives way to the press of his fingers, Izuku letting out short little moans when he rubs the lotion in with firm presses, the muscles underneath the soft layer flexing.

He slips his hand further and palms over Izuku’s cute balls, and grabs his even cuter cock, jerking him a few times to make sure the glide is smooth. It twitches in his hand, starting to fill out again, both of them watching in the mirror as it hardens, eventually resting up against Izuku’s soft belly and dripping precome down the short length before disappearing down his sac.

The rise and fall of his chest feels heavy, like he’s pushing up against his organs, bigger than they’re supposed to be, making it feel like his ribs splintering is only seconds away.

He ignores it. They’ve lasted all night. His ribs can do him a solid and do their job in staying intact for a bit longer.

He squeezes another handful of lotion, slicking up his cock and draping himself over Izuku’s back, positioning himself to slot between his legs. Without even having to ask, Izuku slides them together, cradling Katsuki’s cock between his soft thighs, flexing them and making the squeeze that much better.

Fuck.” It hits Katsuki all at once, the heat, the plush, the tight. He takes a shaky breath, stopping himself from just humping Izuku into the mirror. “Ready for me?” Katsuki asks, pressing their cheeks together and locking eyes with him in their reflection.

Izuku arches his back deep, lifting his ass high against Katsuki’s hips. His eyelashes flutter for a moment before they harden into something lust filled and certain. “Fuck me, Katsuki.”

Izuku’s thighs give way to him just like he knew they would. His cock is immediately surrounded by the plush give of his skin, secured tightly with firm muscle underneath, pliant to his hard cock as he slides between them. Suddenly his head is too heavy for his neck and falls forward, a moan ripped from his chest as he slides all the way through. The majority of his cock is squished between Izuku’s thighs, but a good several inches slip past Izuku’s sac, ending far enough for Izuku’s cock to lay right on top with room to spare.

Katsuki wraps an arm around his waist, the other coming around his chest, his fingers splayed out and capturing a nipple between them. He rolls his hips, squeezing Izuku tighter against his body as he pulls back.

The slick drag against his cock is insane.

“Mmmph!” Izuku cries out through clenched teeth, his hands scrabbling against the glass.

Katsuki pants into Izuku’s neck, eyes locked on Izuku’s short cock riding the length of his own, the head catching on Katsuki’s every time he pulls back.

“Look at that, fuck,” he grunts, hips working in deep thrusts that jolt Izuku’s body forward, the only thing keeping him from slamming against the mirror being Katsuki’s tight grip pulling him back on his cock.

Little gasps fall from Izuku's lips, almost as if they're being shaken out of him with each slap of Katsuki’s hips against his ass. “Ah~umphh—ah! You’re so big, Katsuki. I can feel you—ah—everywhere…”

“I know, baby. I know,” Katsuki says, licking the back of Izuku’s ear, making Izuku squeak. “You’re just so small.”

Katsuki latches onto Izuku’s earlobe and sucks and bites, pulling on it until Izuku’s head lolls back, resting against Katsuki's shoulder. His curls bounce as Katsuki moves, beads of sweat sliding down his temple that Katsuki licks up in a long drag of his tongue.

Their eyes meet, Izuku’s glazed over and hazy, watching Katsuki with his soft pout open, hot puffs of breath moistening the space between them until Katsuki grabs his jaw with one hand and turns his head just enough for the mouths to slot together.

Izuku moans into the kiss, lips barely moving, tongue not at all. But Katsuki just works him over with soft bites to his plump lower lip, slipping his tongue inside until he can taste Izuku whining down his throat.

“You’re so good for me, huh?” Katsuki asks, even though it’s not a question. Izuku is clearly good, perfect, amazing, the best little pair of legs his cock has ever felt.

“Do you like fucking me?” Izuku asks in a whisper, eyes rolling back and lashes fluttering for a moment before he forces his gaze back into focus. “Am I making you feel good, Katsuki?”

“You feel fucking amazing.” Katsuki slaps his hand on Izuku’s thigh before taking a handful and squeezing. “Fucking tight for me. So sweet, squeezing my cock between these thick fucking thighs.”

Katsuki’s hips fuck forward hard, the mirror squeaking against Izuku’s fingertips as he tries to catch himself. Izuku’s head flops down, hanging between his shoulders, but there’s no way Katsuki is going to miss a moment of what Izuku looks like taking his cock.

Katsuki uses his grip on Izuku’s jaw to lift his head until Katsuki sees his fucked out reflection looking back at him. “Eyes up front, baby,” he growls with a slow roll of his hips. “I want you to see how goddamn gorgeous you look when I’m fucking you like this.”

“Oh, goddddddd,” Izuku slurs, absolutely wrecked.

“Just stay still and take it. That’s all you gotta do for me. Just fuckin’ take it,” Katsuki murmurs in his ear, keeping his hand on Izuku’s jaw to keep him still, his other dropping from Izuku’s chest to their cocks. He squeezes them together, his thumb hooked over Izuku’s as his cock slides between Izuku’s thighs into the tight tunnel of his fist.

The scent of strawberries and sweat surrounds him when he breathes in through his nose. It gets stronger when he goes back to nuzzling Izuku’s neck, licking a broad swipe over his skin before clamping down. Izuku spasms in his hold when Katsuki bites him, a whine getting high in pitch as he sucks the skin caught in his teeth.

“Hnnggghh—fuck fuck fuck! D-don’t, ah—don’t stop!” Izuku’s begging is like a direct line to Katsuki’s hips and he moves even faster, long drags of his cock moving over Izuku’s cock and balls, his hand keeping them tight together, the flicks of his wrist splattering pre-come over the glass.

Deep grunts escape him, muffled into Izuku’s neck, and he sucks again before letting go, a satisfying pop from the release of suction. Izuku’s neck is red, purpling before his eyes, a perfect indent of his teeth marking him and—oh fuck. Marking Izuku like he’s Katsuki’s—

“Your cock is so good.” Izuku’s breathy voice snaps him back to the moment. “You're gonna make me come—you’re gonna make me come and you’re not even inside...”

And Izuku looks gone. His eyes are open, barely, mostly whites showing between his lids. A line of drool slips past the corner of his mouth, his tongue peeking out as he pants out little puffs of breath that form a circle of fog on the mirror. Katsuki can feel Izuku trying to push back against him, little movements that slap his fat ass against Katsuki’s hips, but he’s mostly limp; Katsuki's hold on him is the only thing keeping him from falling face first into the glass.

“Focus on me, baby,” Katsuki rasps, giving Izuku’s jaw a little shake. “Come on, look at me.” Izuku’s eyes come back to look at Katsuki in the mirror. “You feel good? Feel good with my cock in you?”

Izuku sobs. “Yesssss. Want you to fuck my ass like this next time. N-need to feel you inside. Oh my god I want you inside me.

Next time.

Next time.

No matter that Izuku is so cock drunk he has no idea what he’s saying, it hits Katsuki all the same. Next time echoing in his ears on a constant loop and he can’t help but imagine getting to do this again. Fucking Izuku for real, making him come over and over again until Katsuki’s certain he has nothing else left. To have Izuku again—the chance to have him in his arms like this all fucked out like a rag doll letting Katsuki pull him back and forth over his cock like a sleeve—

Shit.” He releases Izuku’s jaw and slaps his hand over Izuku’s where he’s slipping off the mirror.

And when he looks, it’s—his balls fuckin’ throb.

The palm of Katsuki’s hand covers the back of Izuku’s hand. His long fingers dwarf Izuku’s, lining up perfectly between them. Their ring fingers cozy up against each other, the black and gold bands clinking together.

Oh shit. He’s gonna fucking come. Holy fuck—

He squeezes their cocks together and speeds up his strokes, moving his hips in hard, short thrusts. Katsuki can feel his balls draw up tight and warmth expanding deep in his belly.

“You gonna come for me again?” Katsuki asks. His voice sounds wrecked, sandpaper rough and desperate. He places his lips on the shell of Izuku’s ear, his eyes narrowed in on Izuku’s in the mirror. “Can you do that for me?” he whispers and Izuku nods, short little movements before his head is tipping back again.

“Yes, yesyesyesyes—”

Katsuki moans straight into Izuku’s ear, feels a shudder wrack down from his head all the way down to his shaking legs. “Of course you can because you’re a good boy.” He pitches his voice lower, humps his hips hard up into Izuku. “You’re such a good needy baby for me…”

Somehow the second time is even better. Maybe it’s because he’s pressed up against Izuku from head to toe and he’s able to feel him tense before he’s shooting his load over Katsuki’s fingers and cock and onto the mirror. Maybe it’s because Izuku’s even louder this time, or that Katsuki can feel his jaw drop instead of just seeing it, and can feel the heat of his blush against his cheek.

Or maybe it’s just because it’s Izuku coming and Katsuki wants to see it every time and in all the different ways, knowing that each one will be better than the last.

“Ahhhhh—hah, mnfffff… fuuuu-fuck—” choked out moans wrack their way out deep from Izuku’s chest as he gasps for breath. Izuku’s eyes are unfocused as his body shakes in Katsuki’s arms as he holds him, squeezes him tight as he jerks him off. Katsuki’s hips keep moving, smacking up against Izuku's ass in quick snaps that show just how desperate and close he is.

He can fucking taste it, and Izuku shivering and babbling, you made me come so hard oh my god, I’ve never come so hard, has him hovering over the edge. His stomach feels disconnected from—whatever it’s supposed to be connected to—and is just flipping in circles over and over like his entrails are stuck in the wheel of a hamster wheel.

Haahhh~~” The last few drops of come splatter over the mirror, and Katsuki feels Izuku slump over, his cheek resting against the glass while Katsuki keeps fucking forward.

Katsuki buries himself in Izuku’s curls, his eyes fluttering closed as he breathes in. His hips stutter forward in par with the staccato beats of his grunts that are forced out between his clenched teeth until his mouth is suddenly wrenched open, and he’s gasping.

Izuku moves his left hand from their hedonistic parody of matrimony and wraps it around Katsuki's cock.

“I know you’re close, Katsuki,” he mumbles, his lips a lazy drag against the glass. He strokes in time with Katsuki’s hand, his fingers slipping in between Katsuki’s until their pinkies slot together, then their ring fingers, the middles, the indexes, their tips of their thumbs bumping against each other—and oh god they are holding hands around Katsuki’s dick.

It’s beautiful. It’s offensive.

It’s romance

And it makes his throat close long enough for him to need to heave in a breath when he’s able, doubling over Izuku’s back as he squeezes his small hand around Katsuki’s cock and thick fingers and tells him—

“I want to see you come, Katsuki…” He looks up through his curls and catches Katsuki’s already looking at him in their reflection. “I know you’ll look so hot, and I bet you come a lot, huh?” Katsuki nods his head in short and quick, kicking up more of that strawberry scent. Izuku’s thumb presses down on Katsuki’s cock as their hands drag across his length, getting faster, a mix of their come loudly schlicking off their fingers. “And you’ve been so good waiting… I want you to come, Katsuki. I want it, and I know you want to give me what I want, so give it to me—”

Izuku wants it? Well damn. He can fucking have it along with anything else he wants. What else? His individual number? His bank account details? The right to his estate? Izuku can fucking have it holy shit.

Katsuki’s hips shoot forward, his body shoving Izuku flat against the mirror, his head falling back as he chokes on a gasp, his come shooting out of him so hard it almost hurts. Izuku doesn’t let up even as Katsuki's hand starts to falter in their rhythm; he just strokes and squeezes, letting out little encouraging noises every time another stream shoots out and splatters onto the mirror, mixing with Izuku’s in a slow slide down the glass.

Katsuki moves his hips in a shallow grind, moaning loud when Izuku flexes his thighs around his cock. His eyes haven’t moved from their spot on the mirror, watching Katsuki as he loses it between Izuku’s legs, head flopping forward, eyes wide in his surprise of just how hard he came from some lotioned up humping.

Katsuki’s tongue swipes over his bottom lip as he takes in a shaky breath, unable to stop his hips from sliding forward and milking the last few bursts of pleasure. “You—how are you… fuck, how do you—ah, shit.”

“Yeah?” Izuku’s lips stretch into a smile, slow and fatigued. He stops stroking him and Katsuki whines, shoving him forward into the mirror again. “Ummff—ah… oh—Katsuki.”

He huffs a breath into Izuku’s curls before sliding his lips down until their mouths meet. Their heads bump against the mirror and their noses squish against each other, and there isn’t really any kissing happening, more panting into each other's mouths as their bodies melt together, slumped against the glass.

There’s a ringing in Katsuki’s ears that sounds like a flatline. And well, so be it. Clearly, he shot his heart out of his dick and therefore is no longer alive. He would do it again right the fuck now if Izuku asked for it. Just go ahead and shove his heart back into the tip and he’ll shoot it out again into Izuku’s hands no problem.

Their breathing starts to even out, enough that Katsuki feels like he can hold them up without relying on a hard surface. He wraps his arms around Izuku and takes a step back, their lips separating quickly enough to readjust, for Katsuki to whisper, you’re so beautiful, before they are on each other again. Izuku’s hands clutch onto Katsuki’s where they lay on his waist, humming happily into Katsuki’s mouth as they sway lightly back and forth.

“Hell yeah! Best reunion ever!”

A cacophony of voices makes its way down the hall right outside their bubble in the nurse’s office. They pull back from each other with sharp breaths.

Izuku runs his tongue over his swollen bottom lip, swollen from Katsuki

“We should probably…” his eyes flick around the room, from his pants caught between his ankles, to the come dripping off the mirror and splattering to the floor, to the door, before finally back to Katsuki.

“...Okay.”

It’s not okay, actually. To be frank, it is the worst. Terrible. Egregious, even.

But he carries Izuku over to one of the chairs in the corner, pulling up his briefs and pants before sitting him down and buckling his belt.

“I can do it,” Izuku laughs, but he doesn’t move his hands from the arms of the chair, just watches Katsuki put him back together. He’s half lidded either from fondness or satisfaction, and Katsuki will take either one to the bank, deposit ready to go.

Katsuki clicks his tongue as he pats Izuku's re-clasped belt. “Doesn’t mean you should have to.” He straightens up from his crouch and looks at himself in the mirror. He fixes his pants and re-buttons his shirt in the spots where they popped open. When he spots Izuku in the reflection, slumped back in the chair and watching, chin resting on his palm, he adds a bit more flair, pouting his lips and flexing more than is strictly necessary for fixing his hair.

His eyes trail back to looking at Izuku in the mirror. Izuku’s hair doesn’t need fixing. His curls look even better after a couple rounds than they did before.

Katsuki’s grasping the arms of the chair and leaning over to kiss Izuku again before he even makes a conscious thought to take a step.

Izuku makes a surprised noise but is quick to lean in, placing his hand on Katsuki's shoulder, gripping him when Katsuki pulls back.

His lips are wet again, and his fingers comes up to touch. “What was that for?” Izuku giggles, different this time, like each bubble of laughter is being squeezed by his throat on the way out.

“Uh—” Katsuki doesn’t have an answer. Well, he does, but it’s a bit—“You were sitting there.”

Izuku takes in a breath, deep but quick, and it makes his lips fall open. His eyelids wake up, and he’s staring at Katsuki like some kind of cute woodland creature like a deer, or a little bird, or a bunny—oh yeah, that one for sure, that one's good; a bunny

They blink at each other at least four times before Katsuki dips down to kiss him again, a quick peck, and then he’s scouring the room for resources needed to clean up the biohazard they left behind.

He decides to give himself a little treat with every minor goal he achieves. He grabs a pack of disinfectant wipes: another kiss, one hand on the wipes, the other on Izuku’s cheek. After he wipes up the mess on the mirror and floor: kiss, no hands this time, ‘cause they’re gross. He puts the lotion and wipes back where he found them and washes his hands: two kisses this time, and with both hands holding Izuku’s face.

Katsuki tilts his head to deepen their kiss; Izuku curls his fingers around Katsuki’s wrists and pulls him closer.

It’s just as cold as Katsuki thought it would be when they step outside. He’s taking off his blazer before the doors shut behind them and Izuku’s gasp of surprise fully leaves his lips.

“Oh, you don’t…” the blazer is already over Izuku’s shoulders and Katsuki’s moved on to lacing their fingers together.

“Where’d you park?”

It’s only because Katsuki is physically unable to not look at Izuku every moment they are together that he sees it: a slight wobble to Izuku’s lip before he catches it between his teeth, clutching the lapels of Katsuki’s blazer together in his free hand over his chest.

“Hey—”

Izuku pulls on his hand. “I’m this way!”

Katsuki follows close behind him, Izuku tucking their clasped hands behind his back while he not so subtly hides his face from Katsuki’s view.

Everything starts moving too fast for Katsuki’s liking. Suddenly, Izuku’s pulling out his key and motioning to a little white car with an All Might decal on the window and sending him into a spiral when he says, “So I guess this is it.”

Katsuki isn’t ready.

Izuku unlocks the door.

“Did you uh—” Katsuki stumbles over his tongue; eyes shifting not necessarily in the most sane way, from Izuku’s hand gripping the handle to his face. “Did you ever get around to thinking up a nickname for me?”

Izuku pauses, letting go of the door handle.

A knot in Katsuki’s chest unravels.

“Yeah, I…” Izuku toys with his hands and lets out a quick sigh, looks up at Katsuki through his long lashes. “Thank you for everything tonight…” he leans up on the tops of his toes and kisses him on the cheek, pulls back and whispers, “Kacchan.”

Someone—someone took the air. There’s no air here, and Katsuki can’t breathe. And now there are ants biting at his face because his cheek is on fire.

He touches his cheek. There are no ants.

He decides to ignore whatever physiological phenomenon he is undergoing (menopause? But he’s so young).

“Anytime, Deku.” He tucks a curl behind Izuku’s ear, smiles when it springs right back to where it was before. “I mean it. Anytime.”

“I’ll, uh, use the app if I need you again.”

Ah. Right.

He feels his legs almost give out, as if someone came up behind him and sliced the back of knees.

And then dumped a bucket of ice over his head. And—and spat on him. Then called him a slur and flipped him off.

“Yeah, that’s…” Katsuki swallows around a lump in his throat, “the way to do it.”

Katsuki has already broken so many rules tonight. His own and the company’s. He can hear Shinsou already: the client must be the one to ask for any non-app related engagements, and it must be done during a time when the client is not paying for service. If you are found to be in breach, I will sue your ass so fucking—

Katsuki opens the door for Izuku. “Request me anytime.”

Izuku nods, his eyes dropping to the ground. “Okay.”

He tugs Katsuki’s blazer from his shoulders and hands it to him before slipping inside his car.

“Drive safe.”

“I will.”

“If you need me—”

“The app. Yeah.”

“Yeah.”

Katsuki’s hand is frozen on the car door, and it’s only after Izuku’s eyes shift to his fingers clutching the frame for dear life that he finally starts to close it. Slowly.

“Bye, Deku.” His voice is shaky.

Izuku’s voice is soft. “Goodbye, Kacchan.”

He closes the door.

Izuku starts his car.

Katsuki waves as he drives away, the moonlight reflecting off the line of gold on the ring still snug on his finger.

“He’s just been like that ever since his date with that Deku guy.”

“I would commit murder to know what happened that night. I’m not kidding. I would butcher someone to death and hide their limbs in several places across the country just to know what got Splodey acting like this.”

“And he's trying to be like everything’s fine, but it’s coming off like he’s trying to hide a hotdog in his pocket. Like, sure, we can’t see it, but what’s the point in hiding it? Just tell us about the hotdog—“

“Can you guys shut the fuck up?” Katsuki snaps.

Mina and Denki peek over the cubicle divider separating Mina and Katsuki’s desks.

“Oh,” Denki laughs awkwardly. “You could hear that?”

Yes,” he hisses. They were literally speaking at full volume.

Mina pushes her desk chair around the corner of the cube, Denki perched on her lap.

“Sorry, honey bun sugar pie,” Mina says with an over-exaggerated frown.

Katsuki sighs, throwing his head back against the headrest of his chair. “No, you’re not.”

“You’re right. We’re not,” Denki agrees. “Just let us in! Let me inside of you, please.”

Katsuki gets it. He’s been a mess since his date with Deku.

The date that was two weeks ago and still hasn’t resulted in a message, a review, or a new request. Katsuki doesn’t know what to think. He thought he and Deku had a good time—a great time.

For the past two weeks, he’s been vigilant in refreshing the request system looking for Izuku’s name as if it weren’t automatic in notifying everyone when one was submitted. He’s even checked to see if Izuku’s account is still active, and it is. Did Katsuki really get it so wrong?

He’s spiraling a bit. Like, did Izuku regret it? Did he not have a good time? Did Katsuki go too far? Just the thought makes him absolutely sick.

“Baku?” Denki slides off of Mina’s lap and places his hand on Katsuki’s shoulder. “What can we do?”

Katsuki turns back to his computer and refreshes the system again.

“Nothing. There’s nothing anyone can do except him,” he mumbles.

“That’s right.” Shinsou materializes next to them in a puff of caffeine and preventative HR measures, leaning on a cubicle wall with his arms crossed. “He needs to make the first move if there’s a move to be made.”

Toshi,” Denki whispers loudly. “Have some tact in this sensitive situation please.” Then quieter, “Look at him!”

Shinsou sighs. “I don’t know what happened on that date, and I don’t want to know. You’re lucky I’ve been handling this all with humor instead of court claims because I’m sure they would be justified.”

Katsuki looks at him from the corner of his eye. “You’ve changed.”

“Of course I’ve changed!” Shinsou throws his hands in the air. “I’m the closest thing we have to a human resources department, and all of you fucking and dating clients has got me on the goddamn edge.”

The sound of Sero’s nonchalant whistling comes from the other side of the office along with a cough definitely from Kirishima.

“No need to call us out like that, damn…” Mina says under her breath.

“I’m not even doing anything,” Katsuki mumbles. He refreshes the system again.

“You’re pushing it is what you’re doing.” Shinsou nods pointedly towards the computer loading the screen with no new requests.

Katsuki spins around in his chair.

“Look, we know you’re not going to reach out to him. Obviously you’re waiting for him to come to you,” Denki says.

“Which is very cool and ethical of you,” Mina adds.

“And legally compliant, which may I remind you is the bare minimum,” Shinsou throws in.

Denki slaps his palm over Shinsou’s mouth. “But maybe you should distance yourself a bit? Take some other dates? You’ve kinda just been sitting in the shit like a sad little piggie and you’re totally gonna get E. coli if you keep doing that.”

That is not how that works at all, but Katsuki gets what Denki is putting down.

Katsuki sighs. “Okay. I’ll—I’ll chill out. I’ll stop refreshing the system and checking his account—”

You’re checking his account?” Shinsou seethes. “How did you get access to that?”

Mina’s chair squeaks as she quickly wheels back to her cubicle.

Shinsou pinches the bridge of his nose. “Mina. Part of IT is security. You can’t give access to people’s accounts!”

“Open your eyes!” Mina shouts, leaning over the cubicle wall. “He’s a disaster! A mess!”

“Hey.” Katsuki frowns.

“And I’d do it again,” she says in a quite frankly crazed tone. “No hesitation.”

“Alright, everybody take a breath or a shot or a—a bath or something,” Denki says placatingly.

“No!” Shinsou shouts. “No alcohol and no baths on company time!”

“You’re taking this boss thing too far! You’re out of control!” Mina shouts back.

The space becomes a flurry of flapping hands and shaking fists as they shout at each other, and then suddenly—

Ping!

Katsuki spins around so fast he ends up ejecting himself from the chair and falling onto the desk, his face mere inches from slamming into the computer screen where a new request notification has popped up.

New date request!

User: Air_Force_Deku

Requested dater: Bakugou Katsuki

Request details: I would like to request Bakugou Katsuki to accompany me at an office party next Saturday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at One for All Law Consultancy in Tokyo.

Special: Protective boyfriend package

Katsuki reads the request and then reads it again, and then one more time just to make sure he hasn’t hallucinated the whole thing.

“Oh thank god,” Denki whispers, and maybe Katsuki wouldn't have heard it if Denki wasn’t plastered to his side to get a look at the screen.

“Do you mind?” Katsuki asks. He tries to shove Denki away, but he’s not having it and doesn’t budge.

“Well, this makes me feel better,” Shinsou says from directly behind him, his chin resting on Katsuki’s head. “Another request versus a complaint about conduct is a win in my book.”

“And he wants the protective boyfriend upgrade! The possibilities are endless!” Mina shouts, half her body hanging off the side of the cubicle wall to see the screen.

“Make sure he doesn’t get charged for that,” Katsuki tells Mina. He may not know all the details yet, but he’s already losing his mind just thinking about someone fucking with Izuku, and he will not have him pay extra to have Katsuki take care of it.

“We are trying to make money,” Shinsou insists.

“You know, you start looking like Mr. Monopoly to me when you get all business,” Mina says, squinting at Shinsou.

“This is a business—“

Denki places his hands on Shinsou’s shoulders and leads him away from the cubicles. “Take a lap, babe. You’re starting to smell like capitalist swine, and it’s freaking me out.”

“Don’t worry, Baku. I’ll even throw in an extra discount,” Mina tells him with a dramatic wink. “Besides, he can’t fire me because I’m the diversity hire.”

“You’re all diversity hires!” Shinsou shouts from a distance.

Mina cackles as she slinks back to her side of the cubicle.

Katsuki takes a second to breath and then accepts the request, his phone vibrating in his desk drawer as it officially gets added to his calendar.

When he opens the drawer, he trails his fingers across the strip of photos and the wedding band before snatching his phone.

He’s got a date to coordinate.
