2 Weeks Prior
Chuuya was sitting on his couch. He was listening to some music and was about to start drinking some wine when there was a knock on his door. When he opens the door he sees Dazai. Chuuya started to pace around the room. All the messages he sent to Dazai have been read. All of the sudden Dazai hears a knock on the front door. Chuuya runs over and opens the door. When he opens the door he sees Dazai. He was soaking wet from the rain and tears ran down his face. "Shit what happened" Chuuya pulls Dazai into his arms. The moment the door shuts behind them Dazai falls to the ground and breaks down. Dazai explains the plan for them to leave the mafia. (The same why Dazai left in the anime on a mission) "You sure this will work" Chuuya asks "yes Mori will either think we have been killed or captured, he will most likely only search for us for a month or two after that we should be able to walk around outside but we need to be careful and make sure no one from the mafia sees us." "Okay I trust you."
2 Weeks Later
Chuuya and Dazai were still in hiding after abandoning their mission. They could only could pack essential in a backpack, they packed street clothes (and Chuuya's hat), their wallets, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, etc.), and the each packed something important to them for Dazai it was the picture of him and Oda and the box he got from the Lupin Bar, Chuuya took his bike that he got from Albatross. They said the backpacks were equipped for the mission and they didn't need to say anything about the bike because they normally road on Chuuya's bike when they had a mission.
They went to Tokyo and are staying in a motel, they have been moving motels every week so they don't get spotted. Ever since they moved into the motel they are currently at Dazai has been throwing up every morning. This morning was no different.
Dazai was hunched over the toilet throwing up whatever he had in him. Chuuya was comforting Dazai. Once Dazai was done throwing up he leaned his head on Chuuya's shoulder, "you feel better" "kind of, I'm going to go to the convenience store and get a snack I've been craving recently you want anything" "not right now I'll text you if I think of anything." "Okay I'll be right back love you" Dazai kisses Chuuya's check before leaving.
Dazai wasn't going to the convenience store to only get a snack he was also getting a pregnancy test. In his mind it made the most sense he was throwing up every morning and was craving foods other than crabs.
Once Dazai gets to the convenience store he got everything as fast as he could. Even though Dazai and Chuuya weren't in Yokohama they still had to be careful because someone from the mafia might have a mission in Tokyo.
Dazai payed and then walked as fast as he could without drawing any attention. Once Dazai got back to the motel he set down the food and grabbed the pregnancy test and headed to the bathroom. Chuuya was sitting in the bed. "What you get" "sushi, dango, oden, and miso ramen, you can have some but don't eat it all, I'm going to the bathroom" Dazai said while hiding the pregnancy behind him.
Dazai was nervous those 5 minutes waiting for the results of the test felt like a life time. After the 5 minute timer on Dazai's phone rang he stood up and walked over to the counter. He took some deep breaths before flipping over the stick.
Positive
It was positive. Dazai gripped the test in his hand and walked over to the bathroom door. When he opened it Chuuya was sitting on their bed eating some sushi. "Chuuya" "yeah" Dazai walked closer to Chuuya so he was standing in front of him. "What's wrong" "nothing I just need to tell you something" "what is it." Dazai looked Chuuya in the eyes before showing him the pregnancy "I'm pregnant."
Chuuya immediately stood up. "Really!" "Yes" "I'm going to be a dad?" Chuuya sad with tears in his eyes "yes you're going to be a dad" Dazai said with a smile. Chuuya bent down and carefully put a hand on Dazai's stomach. "I'll protect you both I promise."
