(Many Years Ago)
Marie was gripping her dress while tears ran down her face. Why was her best friend being so mean... She did not understand what changed in him...
"Ka-Chan..." She whimpered. "Why are you being so mean?"
She looked at him, she did not understand why Kachan was hurting this boy...
"You are making him cry kachan..." She whimpered out. "I-If you h-hurt him anymore than I will have to fight you..." She said and raised her fists.
The boy with blonde hair froze as he looked at his dear Marie. The girl he loved most wanted to fight him. That pissed him off; he was supposed to love her.
"You won't stand a chance without a quirk, so if you want to play hero, then you are going to get hurt!" He laughed and smashed his fist into his hand. "Deku!"
It was a cruel name that her friend gave her; the last character of her name could be said as Deku, and he used it to mock her. She learned that day that her best friend hated her, but she still loved him.
The sad truth is not everyone is created equal. She learned that at a young age that some people were stronger than others and some weaker... but she would still not let that stop her. She will continue to fight to be a hero.
-Modern Day-
(If you did not read the summary, this is an age-up/college AU, so everyone is at least 18 in this! The UA school is a school that is not like a typical college; it is made for heroes right out of high school who want to be heroes full-time.)
Marie ran to the fight that was happening in town, her pink and green hair shining in the light. People would think that she would have a quirk with her odd hair color, but she does not. See, she was from Canada, her parents died, and she was adopted by a mother who had lost her son a few days earlier.
Marie did not mind it, but she wished she knew more about her bio parents; were they quirkless, too? Or did she miss out on a quirk from them? It did not matter that she loved her mom, and she was so kind to her. Even when she did not
This..giant super villain. He was the reason traffic got so bad.
She should be annoyed, it was rush hour after all. But she wasn't.
She was absolutely enamoured when it came to anything hero. It was bordering on obsession, to be honest.
She wondered what heroes would show up to fight this guy..
