Work Text:

It was summer, and my friends and I had decided to visit a friend far away. The six of us would be heading to Hawaii to see the original Australian again. It had been several years since we'd all done anything together, let alone been in a room with all seven of us. So, it was understandable that everyone was incredibly nervous and excited.

We had all prepared differently for this trip to the tropical island. I, for example, had spent extra hours at the gym with Changbin and Jeongin. As far as I know, Hyunjin had chosen a few destinations near the place where we were staying to draw and paint in peace. Seungmin had studied some cultural histories, dances, and traditions. And Minho? Well, we have him to thank for all the fun, because he had contacted Chan to make this trip possible in the first place. He was the one who booked the flights, transportation, and accommodation.

The days before our departure were complete chaos. Our apartments looked as if a bomb had hit. While Hyunjin, Changbin, and I had turned everything upside down in our shared apartment, Minho and Seungmin, on the other hand, were the picture of calm. Even Jeongin, who had only returned from Busan three days before our departure, was considerably more relaxed than the others.

With the help of Changbin's and Seungmin's older sisters, we made it to the airport on time and without any further incidents, and surprisingly, we also made it to the plane. From Seoul, we flew a good eight hours to Honolulu, from where we took a boat for another good hour to our final destination. It had been a long and tiring day, which is why I was all the more glad that it was already evening when we arrived at the town's pier.

"CHANNIE HYUNG!!" I wasn't the only one who yelled when I saw the well-built man standing on the jetty. Both I and our two youngest ran to the oldest and threw ourselves around his neck. "I missed you so much, Channie, you won't believe me," I mumbled into the crook of his neck. Seungmin and Jeongin hummed in agreement. I had truly missed him. Our group had been inseparable since elementary school. Hardly a day went by without us clinging to each other. I was all the more glad to finally be able to hold him in my arms again after all these years, to finally hear his warm voice properly again and not just over the phone, to smell his familiar scent again, and to feel his now well-built body close to mine again.

"Well, hello to you too." He laughed so heartily that I thought I hadn't heard it for centuries. "You must have really missed me, eh, kids?" I even missed the mocking nickname. "Come on, let's see you. My goodness, my sons have grown up so fast," he dramatically wiped a tear from his eyes. "You're such young, handsome men," he muttered to himself like a grandpa. Which was clearly embarrassing for the three of us. "Stop it, Hyungie, you're still acting like our father," our youngest whined, lightly slapping the older man's arm.

Changbin and Minho and Hyunjin also approached us with our luggage in tow to greet our missing piece of the puzzle. I noticed that there must still be quite a bit of luggage on the boat, which is why I wanted to go back and get it. However, when I arrived just before the boat, I saw a blond boy, maybe my age, just putting the last suitcase on the dock. When he noticed me, he turned to me and smiled.

I'd be lying if I didn't say I instantly fell in love with that smile. The boy resembled an angel, so innocent and handsome he was. His blond, slightly wavy hair was just tucked behind his ears. His brown eyes truly sparkled with kindness. His cute little button nose and his well-tanned cheeks were covered in countless freckles. His red, heart-shaped lips were drawn into a smile so sweet I thought I was dreaming. He wore a light, light blue shirt with matching, airy white linen trousers, around his neck were several chains, as well as a watch around his wrist, accompanied by other bracelets. Could someone really look like that? Was he truly real and not my imagination?

"Heyy, you must be one of Chris's friends. I'm Felix, I'm so happy to meet you!" Surprised by his deep voice, I just stared at the hand he extended. Was it even possible? Could someone so unreal, someone so divine-looking, have such a demonic voice? I was also surprised by his Korean. Even though it wasn't perfect, I hadn't expected to be greeted in my native language.

Still perplexed, I finally took the boy's hand in front of me and bowed slightly out of habit. "H-hi, yes, that's me. II-I'm Jisung, nice to meet you too." God, why was I stammering like that? When I straightened up and looked into the blond's face, his eyes widened, and his smile grew even wider. "Wait, you're Jisung?! As in J.One Jisung?! Oh wow, Chris has already told me so much about you. I'm so lucky to have met you first. You know, Chris is always raving about you and SpearB too, but I get to meet you as Jisung and Changbin, uhuhuhuuu." He started babbling.

"Wait, I'll help you with the luggage, you don't have to carry it all by yourself." We walked back to my group with the remaining luggage. Once there, I handed over some suitcases and bags to their owners, aka Seungmin and Jeongin. Even though we were all exhausted from the long journey, we seemed happy. When Chan saw me and Felix, he immediately addressed everyone.

"Ahh, guys, may I introduce to you," he pointed to the blond guy next to me, "this is Felix. He lives with me, a few of you already know him." His gaze swept over to Minho and Changbin, "What? Why do you know him but I don't? How rude of you." I turned my head away, insulted. I knew Chan didn't live alone, but I didn't know he lived with such a beautiful fella. I had never met him. When we spoke on the phone, i could only very rarely hear a few noises in the background; I've never seen him or actually heard him speak, nor have I seen a photo.

"Well, because Changbin and I met him on the phone." Minho chuckled to himself, gently ruffling my hair. I thought it was a bit unfair, but hey, what can you do? Seungmin and Jeongin and Hyunjin also introduced themselves to Felix before we finally left the dock and followed Chan and Felix to our stay.

Since Minho had booked, I didn't know what to expect and was therefore surprised when we finally stood in front of a small group of beach houses. The six houses were somewhat isolated from the others in the village. They were built so that some of them were in the on the sand, others held up by piles just above the water. They were surrounded by several large palm trees, thus obscuring most of the outside.

Overall, all the buildings reminded me a bit of the ones in Moana, only of course in a more modern style. It was cozy, decorated with shells, straw wood, and flowers. A few lanterns and candles lit up the entire place. It was exactly what you'd expect from a cozy beach house in Hawaii: nothing luxurious, nothing too modern, just the feeling of culture, the sea, the beach, and vacation.

As we entered the houses, I wondered how I would ever get away from there. Inside and out, the houses had the exact same style. They consisted only of a small bathroom, a bedroom, and a kitchen. The houses facing the sea also had a kind of small terrace. Bridge like jettys of wood connected the houses together forming a big hut island. They were arranged in a circle, with a fire pit in the center, some seating, and a few palm trees making their way from the palm tree Hain.

I immediately grabbed one facing the sea, unpacked my essentials, and threw myself exhausted into the cozy bed. We had previously discussed the rough plan for the next day. First, we would all sleep in, then have breakfast or lunch together, and around the afternoon, Chan and Felix would play tour guide around the island. Since the island wasn't as big as the main islands, it didn't take half a day to walk all the way around. In short, it was my dream.

🥥♡♡♡🥥

When I woke up the next morning, the sea air immediately hit me. Since the bedroom faced the ocean, the first thing I saw was the endless turquoise ocean.
I started by unpacking my things and putting them in the closets before putting on some decent clothes and getting ready for the day. It was over 30 degrees Celsius, so I put on simple, lightweight shorts and paired them with an oversized red T-shirt made of a very light fabric to keep me from getting too hot.

When I finished everything at 11:30, I left the small house and immediately ran into Chan, Jeongin, Seungmin, and Changbin, who were all sitting around the fire pit in the middle of all the beach houses. An amused expression formed on Seungmin's face when he saw me. "Good afternoon, Sleeping Beauty. Did you sleep well?" he teased, which made me roll my eyes.

Without further comment and a mumbled "good afternoon," I joined Chan on a small bench. "Where's the rest?" I asked him. Since I hadn't seen him in ages, I slid a little closer to him to make the most of his proximity; after all, he was my best friend. "Minho Hyunjin and Felix? They already went groceries shopping. We had decided to cook lunch together and then go out for dinner. They should be back soon, don't worry."

I sincerely hoped they would hurry; after all, I was hungry and could hardly wait to finally meet Felix properly. Fortunately, it took less than a 15 min until they were back. Meanwhile, the others and I walked to Chan and Felix's home, which was less than a hundred meters away. The two lived in a house, also by the sea. It was bigger and more modern than our small 'Airbnbs,' but had the same vibe as ours.

We—actually Chan, Minho—all cooked and ate outside in a terrace-like area of the house. There was a lot to talk about, both about Chan and about us. I sat next to Felix and chatted a lot with him. As it turned out, we had quite a lot in common. For example, he was only a day older than him, which immediately bonded us. I noticed what a friendly and sweet person he was, truly a soul made of gold.

We sat at the table until the early afternoon and talked about all sorts of things. I chatted a lot with Felix, but also with Chan and the others. The atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful. At some point, we decided to set off to explore the island.

We walked along what seemed like endless beaches, Chan took us to a waterfall further inland on a small 'mountain,' and of course, we also explored the town. It really wasn't anything big, but it was very cozy. The people were really friendly, the surroundings were stunningly beautiful, and the small town was really homely. Towards evening, we sat down at an Italian restaurant to end the day.

When we returned to our accommodations, we decided to light a fire. Chanlix had brought some alcohol and some snacks to celebrate, which we couldn't resist. We laughed, talked a lot, sang, and danced. Soft music played through a loudspeaker while everyone happily sang along.

At some point, I decided to distance myself a bit from the group and go down to the beach again. With my shoes in hand, the sand and the water between my toes, I followed the torches that were placed all along the edge of the palm grove, showing the way. The moonlight shone magically on the calm waters of the ocean, small waves that occasionally lap against the shore left a pleasant sound.

I hadn't realized how good this vacation would do me. At home, I was immersed in work, barely taking a break. It felt so nice to escape this oppressive daily routine and instead feel the fine sand beneath my feet.

"BOOOOO!"

I jumped when I suddenly heard the deep voice out of nowhere behind me. I was so distracted that I hadn't even noticed someone following me. "You're walking pretty fast, my dear." The person put an arm around my shoulders, and when I turned my head, I saw who it was: Felix.

"Dude, you scared the shit out of me!" I shouted at the blonde, who just laughed amused. "Sorry, I just couldn't resist." He wiped an imaginary tear from his eye. He looked so beautiful in the moonlight. His big eyes sparkled and glittered like diamonds, and his lips were curled into a sweet smile. I felt a tingling sensation spread in my stomach.

"Is everything okay? Why did you leave? Are you not enjoying it?" His diamond eyes looked at me full of questios and with a hint of concern, which almost made me melt. "oh no, it was really nice. The atmosphere was really good for me and I had a blast. I just wanted some time for myself. I wanted to relax a bit, and besides, I don't mind an evening stroll, especially not by the beach and the sea." I quickly assured him. Was he worried?

Felix removed his arm from my shoulder, which almost immediately made me miss the feeling of his warmth and closeness. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you. I just thought if something happened, it would be better if I checked to see if everything was okay. I can go again, no problem." He had lowered his head slightly to the ground as he spoke in an almost guilty tone. This guy was really too innocent for this world.

"No, no, Felix, it's all right. Please, you don't have to go," I said, almost panicking. I definitely didn't want the younger one to leave. "I-it would be nice if you, well, accompanied me for a bit." I scratched the back of my head, embarrassed. The younger one's head instantly shot up to me and he looked me straight in the eyes. I hadn't thought it would be possible, but it seemed as if he was beaming even more than before. "Really? It doesn't bother you?" he squeaked. "No, i-it's nice," I shyly returned his smile.

I thought I saw a slight blush on Felix's cheeks as he turned his head slightly to the side and came closer to me again before carefully hooking his arm through mine. That made my cheeks flush, too, and I looked down, a bit embarrassed.

We walked side by side like that for a while. We only stopped at a leaning palm tree and sat on its trunk, chatting casually until Felix asked something that caught me of guard .

"Tell me, Jisung, do you have a girlfriend?" I looked at him perplexed. "Um, no, I don't. Why are you asking?" I felt a little uncomfortable admitting it, especially since I wasn't even interested in any women, women in general. "Oh, just curious." For a moment, there was a bit of an awkward silence until I decided to ask him the same thing. "What about you? Do you have one?" He looked at me briefly and seemed to consider what to say. Then he turned his head back toward the sea before speaking confidently.

"Nope, I'm gay, so I'm not into women." Oh. I hadn't expected that. I can't deny that I wasn't hoping for it, but I wasn't quite expecting it. "Oh, I didn't know. I'm sorry," I apologized. Felix laughed. "Pfffff, it's fine, how would you know?" A little embarrassed, I lowered my head.

"Okay, let me ask again. Do you have a boyfriend?" I asked properly this time. "Nope." I didn't even realize I'd been holding my breath until I let it out quietly. "There aren't that many people my age here on the island. And the ones there are, they're not my type. Except for Chris, of course. I mean, who doesn't find Chris hot?" My heart clenched slightly. Did he like Chan?

"But Chris is my best friend, so he's not for me. Besides, he's already taken." Phew, thank goodness. "You like guys like Chan? Isn't he a little too, I don't know, soft for you?" It was a bit risky to ask, I admit, especially since we barely knew each other, but I was dying to know. "Mhhh, yes. Sometimes he could be a little stricter, that's true. You know, I like to be princessed, but I also want a little, how should I say, erm—"

In the light of a nearby torch, I saw the deep red that had spread across his face. "Kept on a leash?" I asked. His even redder face told me I'd hit the nail on the head, and finally, I couldn't resist a slight grin.

Ashamed, Felix grabbed the nearest object, a palm frond, and threw it at me. " jisungggggg," he grumbled, "don't say it like that. It sounds really dirty." The blond boy buried his bright red face in his hands. "What, it's true, isn't it? You want someone who treats you well, spoils you and lets you 'rule the roost', maybe even someone who's a bit childish at times. At the same time, you also want him to take the upper hand sometimes, or even be a bit rough or strict." Silence came back to me from the other one.

"Oh come on, it's not that bad, you don't have to be embarrassed. Honestly, I feel the same way," I affirmed. Surprised, the blond looked up at me with wide eyes. "Y-you, eh, are you into men too?" I nodded in confirmation. Felix seemed to relax immediately and the redness in his face subsided a little. "Why didn't you saiy so earlier," he mumbled.

We talked about this topic for quite a while. Somehow, we then got onto the subject of which of our friends we would be most likely to date. It was all a bit awkward , but not uncomfortable so, rather a relief?

Finally, it was shortly after midnight when we decided to go back. As I lay down in bed that evening, I couldn't help but wonder if I met Felix's standards and preferences. I had to admit to myself that I quite liked the idea, even though I had only known the younger man for a day.

The next few days were similar to the first. We usually had breakfast together at Chanlix's before doing something together, in smaller groups or even individually. For example, once we all went to the nearest big city and went shopping together, or we took a boat from one of Chan's island friends out to the sea and went snorkelling in the reef. Countless times we just lay on the beach and lazed around, played beach volleyball or went swimming in the water.

Once, I went with Minho, Hyunjin and Felix to a beach park on the other side where we went surfing together. Well, more or less, because Minho was afraid of the water and stayed on the shore, watching and filming us like a mother, while Hyunjin and I fell off the board more often than not. Felix, on the other hand, looked like Poseidon himself. It looked so easy when he did it...

Speaking of Felix, in the last week we'd spent together, it had somehow become a habit for us to take a little walk along the beach in the evenings, just like on the first day. And I had to admit that I was falling more and more in love with him every day.

Every time he spoke to me, it was as if I wasn't really listening, just following the sound of his voice and reading the words from his beautiful lips. Every time he touched me, it felt like that spot was catching on fire. When he looked at me with his big, brown, doe-like eyes, it felt like a whole swarm of butterflies, no, more like bumblebees, were flying around in my stomach, constantly banging against the edge to escape.

And his body. The first time we swam together and I saw his slim but well-toned figure, I was speechless. He wasn't as muscular as Chan or Hyunjin, but he had an equally pronounced six-pack, a rippling back, and hidden muscles in his upper arms. His thighs and calves were also well-trained from all the dancing he'd told me was his hobby. It wasn't the most muscular body, but in my opinion, it was the most beautiful.

Unfortunately, I was so obsessed with it that I literally started staring, which Felix, of course, couldn't help but notice. Like when we went for a walk one evening as usual. We had spontaneously decided to go swimming again, since it was still stiflingly hot even after dark.

It had been fun fooling around in the water and cooling off. Plus, I had another perfect view of Felix's exposed torso, which looked even more beautiful in the moonlight.

"Tell me, Jisungie," he began, approaching me after an intense water fight. He stopped just in front of me and looked innocently into my eyes. "Could it be that you like my body?" he said amusedly, with a slightly evil grin on his lips. "I-I-I ahahah ehmm n-no, w-what makes you think that?" I asked him nervously, completely thrown off by the question. As if my answer couldn't be any clearer after all the stuttering. The grin on the blonde's face widened.

"You're staring, Jisungie~" he purred. My face turned damn red as I tried to deny it again. "W-what, I don't even know what you mean, heh." As if that wasn't bad enough, Felix only moved closer to me. "You stare so often that you hardly notice it yourself. You stare at my stomach," he placed his hand on his abs. "At my butt," his hand moved a little further down to his thigh and then to his butt. "You stared at my chest and my arms," he continued, letting his hands glide over his chest until they hugged him, never breaking eye contact.

His fingers continued to move toward his lips. "You stare at my lips, my freckles," he lightly traced his fingertips over his cheek until they finally stopped at his eyes. "And you stare into my eyes, losing yourself in them like there's no tomorrow."

After saying that, one hand left his face, their gaze broken, and instead found its way to my neck, the other on my shoulder. "I think it's mean that you're allowed to stare so much and I'm not." His heart-shaped lips curled slightly into a pout. I don't know how many times he'd said that word in the last few minutes, but it was too many for my little heart. I didn't have much time to reflect on the feeling spreading within me, though, because Felix continued immediately.

"You have such a well-built, hot body, and yet you hide it under that annoying fabric." His face looked slightly annoyed as he ran his hands over my upper arm, gently pinching it, and then down to my covered chest. He ran one of his small hands over my right breast, the other gently up and down my left side. "You have tattoos, and yet I didn't see them. You're anything but fair, Jisungie~" As he continued to move down to my stomach and finally grasped the edge of my top, he leaned even closer and whispered in my ear in a seductive voice. "How about you finally get rid of that annoying top and show me what you're hiding underneath, huh?"

I hadn't said anything the whole time, hadn't trusted my voice at all, because, oh damn, his touches were so beautiful. I don't know what suddenly came over him, but I absolutely couldn't complain.

"Ahh, F-Felix, w-what're you doing?" My voice trembled and came out almost as a whisper. The round eyes of the person opposite of me found mine again and looked at me innocently. What left his lips, however, was anything but innocent. "I want to see your body, Jisung, and I want to see it properly. I don't want to have to guess from the marks how strong your six-pack stands in duality with your tiny waist, I don't want to have to guess how big your chest is, how well-built your back is. I want to see it, Jisungie, and touch it." He whispered the last part into my ear again. He was so close that I could feel his hot breath on my skin, as well as his soft lips lightly brushing my ear.

"W-why?" I whispered back. My voice was still slightly trembling. Despite the cool water we were still in, I felt hotter than in a sauna. My skin felt on fire, and slowly but surely, a thick fog was forming in my brain. I had barely been able to think clearly before, but now it was almost impossible. Felix, my crush was flirting with me?

Felix's slight chuckle brought me back from my thoughts. Did I say that out loud? I hope not. "Why? Why do I want to see you naked, you ask? Oh Sungie, you're so ignorant." His hands found their way back to my neck, around which he now wrapped his arms. This brought him even closer, if at all possible. His face was now only a few centimeters from mine.

"You're hot, Jisung. I think you sometimes forget how good you actually look." The blonde brushed a wet strand of hair off my forehead before continuing. "You know, Jisung, ever since you came to the island, I feel like I've known you forever. Like I've been in love with you forever, and like it will last forever. Like I never want to let you go. Would love to keep you as close to me as possible."

It took a moment for the shy words to register in my head. He thought I was hot? Wanted to be with me? Was in love with me? My head and body felt like they were about to explode. My stomach was hurting so much I thought butterflies had eaten a hole through it by now. Surprised and shocked, I looked at Felix. "You like me?" For the first time since this started, Felix looked shy. The self-confidence I'd previously displayed had almost completely disappeared, leaving only shyness, embarrassment, and insecurity.

"I do. I-I know we haven't known each other for very long, but I just have the feeling that-" He didn't get any further, because I interrupted him with a gentle kiss on the lips. Something I'd wanted to do ever since I'd set foot on this island and seen the younger one. Surprised and frozen, the Australian just stood there. It took him a moment to come to his senses and return the kiss.

For a short while, we just pressed our lips together, savoring the moment. It was Felix who finally moved his lips lightly against mine. At first, it was reserved and tender, but it quickly transformed into an intimate but beautiful kiss full of emotion.

When we finally broke away, my hand found its way to Felix's cheek. "I like you too, Felix. I thought I was going crazy." I laughed, somewhat relieved. All tension had left my body. As if seeking reassurance, Felix looked deep into my eyes, one of his hands removed from my neck and placed itself on my cheek as well.

For a split second, his eyes slid down to my lips, until he closed the distance between us and kissed me a second time. It was a little more intense than the first. We both knew we wanted to do this from the very first moment.

In a shared rhythm, we moved our lips against each other, almost greedy. They tasted slightly salty, but that didn't bother us. When I finally ran my tongue, a little hesitantly, over the other's lower lip, he sighed deeply, which gave me confirmation that he liked it. His hand found its way into my hair and played with it, pulling gently. His mouth opened a little wider and allowed me in. Carefull but less hesitant, our tongues rubbed against each other, playing, dancing, and wrestling with each other. It was an incredible feeling.

When we separated due to the lack of air, we looked at each other. The uneven breathing, the slightly swollen and saliva-coated lips, the hair still wet from the water we were still in, and the moonlight in which Felix looked so incredibly beautiful, simply everything was perfect in that moment.

"You are so beautiful," I breathed against the blond's lips, "so gorgeous. Like a moon nymph, so beautiful." Embarrassed, he slapped me lightly on the chest. "And you, Casanova," he flattered, before I felt the warm feeling of his lips on mine again. Unfortunately, not for long, because he soon removed his lips and hands from me. I looked at him, somewhat confused.

But when I felt his hands at the hem of my t-shirt again a second later, I knew that wasn't all. With an innocent expression on his face that tried to hide his mischievous grin, he looked me in the eyes and whispered seductively.

"So, will you stripp for me or not, Jisung-ah~?"
