[GT]: I think its important to get to know each other and get along. especially since you’re his brother and he cares for and loves you so much

[GT]: Well I'm not quite sure now that i think about it. i was really just wanting to finally talk to you. you’re quite elusive when i do have the rare chance of being around

[TG]: like 90 percent
[TG]: the other 10 percent is because i work a deadend fuck ass job and get home and pass out in bed with my uniform still on and dirk likes to invite you over at night like a vampire
[GT]: He does tend to do that doesnt he?
[GT]: Does he have sleeping issues of some kind? he always gets cagey when i ask
[TG]: he does yeah but you didnt hear that from me
[TG]: hes like weirdly ashamed of it for some reason

[GT]: What do you do as a job by the way?
[GT]: Dirk always skirts around that one, too.
[TG]: oh dude its so bullshit its the only job that would hire me and didnt require a drug test

[TG]: so dirk doesnt have to pick me up or anything he makes my ass walk home
[GT]: Really? well i do suppose it isn’t too much of a walk at least, but it is a bit either way.
[GT]: And you get back to your place when hes already tucked in i imagine if you’re working a graveyard shift.
[TG]: yeah i hardly see him nowadays
[TG]: hes always doing some weird shit in his room

[GT]: Oh yeah? he began pestering me a bit back as well. seems we have a funny little cycle of texting going on!

[GT]: But i did want to offer to drive you to your house this time! i know how troublesome it can be to work such a job and it sounds horrific to have to walk home afterwards.
[GT]: Let me help! when does your shift end?
[TG]: oh

[TG]: seriously its like a twenty minute walk its no big deal
[TG]: plus i get off at like 4am

[GT]: Is there anything youd like since ill be out? i can imagine you might be hungry and one can only get on so far on 7/11 jerky.

[GT]: I was seriously offering I'm not much of an empty threat like that. I'm a grown ass 25 year old with a wallet, i am capable of purchases

[TG]: schools pretty stressful and im trying to make sure i have everything to graduate and its just

[GT]: If you need help with the graduating portion or school id love to be another pair of eyes! i can help you with it or if you’re having trouble with classes i can see what i can do for you.
[TG]: im just like super nervous i wont have enough credits or good enough grades

[GT]: Credits can be a scary thing. i had to worry about that most recently while i was in grad school.

[GT]: Not during beach day. that is mandated relaxation and sun time.
[GT]: I might disappear in a bit, but I *will* retrieve your items dave and be there to pick you up at the end of your shift promise!

Dave felt his face heating up immediately upon seeing Jake enter the store, standing up straight from his slouched position on the counter. He was... really, really handsome.
